Google
Don't let the look of the place fool you. This is some seriously good eats. Beef and pork were both above average . The ribs however were the best I've had to date. Also had the hush puppies and collared greens. Hush puppies were again standard. Collared greens had an odd taste like they were sweetened with molasses. While not terrible they were not how I like them cooked. All of the staff are friendly and helpful. You can tell by the amount of orders they crank out that this place is popular. Going on my list. Finally pushed Copper Top BBQ ribs out of top spot.

Google
God was excellent. Got the BBQ wings and Mac and cheese, both were great. Did have to wait a really long time for lemonade but overall good experience, can't wait to go back.

Disappointed! Made a special trip up to try this place out after hearing all the hype. I walked in got inline, only one person I n front of me, placed my order, small in my eyes, just the special and another meat and the sides included, 20 mins was told. Gave my name and started the wait, no big deal been in way longer lines. They were definitely busy so was a good sign food was going to be good. Plenty of people came and went, got that, online orders, the line was getting bigger for walk ins, wasn’t a big deal lots of pick up orders. Then I started to notice people that had placed orders after me were getting there food, asked about it bc now we’re about 1/2 in, at the. 45min mark gentleman ask the people waiting there names, skips me and goes back proceeds to fill orders finally about an hour into my wait a guy comes in places his order in and out 5 mins ask what’s up with mine no one knows a thing about my order. Gentleman ask me again from behind counter what my order was says no worries I got you 6 mins, in the meantime they continue to fill orders just not mine bc they have food to fulfill those orders. I ask for my money back no fuss just if you can fill those orders and not mine then I’m out They basically lost my order even though I stood there the whole time. In defense they did give me my money back (I had already tipped more than I ended up getting back) but appreciate the gentleman offering me my money back and he even doubled it, in my view the extra money is not mine though appreciated I put it back in the tip jar, enjoy the $20 back. Unable to comment on food bc I never ended up getting any.

Google
Worth the drive. As a native Kansas Citian, I found the ribs to be exactly right. Smoky, fall-off-the-bone goodness. The house sauce is also good: slight heat, slightly sweet, not syrupy. Wheat flour for the hush puppies is a choice. I definitely prefer cornmeal and won't be ordering those again. I will say, though, they're appropriately onion-y. The mustard garlic sauce just tastes like honey mustard to me. I think I would prefer it on the brisket, rather than the pork. So, obviously, I need to try the brisket next time! Can't wait. Try this establishment, y'all!

Google
I’m starting to think kinfolks lost its touch …the collards greens was sweet like they put sugar in it yuck, the fried fish and shrimp not seasoned, very blan and the Mac n cheese was super dry …felt like I wasted my money very disappointing

Google
We ordered Kinfolks for our wedding last Saturday. We ordered the 50-60 pack, even though we were only having 36 guests (myself and my husband included) EVERYTHING went! It was so so good, so many compliments and content faces. As the evening continued and dinner was long over many (myself included) went back for second plates, still in chafing dishes and warm! I definitely was hoping to have some leftovers but am equally pleased that everyone loved the food so much that there was nothing to pack up other than 7 pieces of cornbread! Thank you so much Kinfolks, you’ve been our favorite BBQ around and it was perfect to share with our guests at our wedding!

Google
By far some of the absolute best fried chicken I’ve ever had. Fried chicken was amazing, tenders , ribs and hush puppies were phenomenal. So so good, I’d wait 3 hours for this any day. I ordered via DoorDash and it arrived fresh hot and delicious. So Impressed

Eric Y.

Google
Since the early 2000s I’ve travelled all over mass to find the best smoked ribs. Nothing is comparable to this place. Their baked beans and other sides are also top notch. Owner is a saint for what he’s been doing for people in trying times .

Harlan S.

Yelp
Ribs and brisket are almost always great. Fried chicken also very good Beans are very good -yams were always great but not available now---potato salad was much better in the past -not good now Their garlic mustard sauce is superb on their fall off rib meat-
google avatar

Frankie G.

Yelp
They have spicy chicken here now but I stuck with my regular fried chicken and potato salad. The chicken was good but the potato salad was not the same I took a few bites and didn't eat the rest it was very bland and not flavor full at all. The lady taking my order I didn't get her name but the guys cooking the chicken I wish I would've got their names they did an amazing job with that. The ambiance there is like the old barbecue places down south minus a few things but most people order to go because not much room in there to host a large crowd. It is quiet and smells good with that smoked smell in there. They charge you for the different chicken sauces and the walk in wait time is crazy. So if you are hungry I can't say this is the place for you. But if you're not in a hurry then this is the place you could visit if in the area and in the mood for barbecue. I thought I had the jerk until I got home it was the spicy barbecue and not the jerk .

Yelp
No matter what you try at Kinfolks, it's always all great! They are courteous and friendly and their food is out of this world good!
google avatar

Yelp
Kinfolks is a spectacular BBQ joint in Taunton. To be clear, not many seats and not really a place to sit and eat. You grab your food, head home and enjoy they way BBQ is to be enjoyed. Everything is outstanding but my constant is the brisket and pulled pork. They have a garlic mustard based sauce that is out of this world. If you have ever been to a great BBQ establishment in the Carolinas, this place comes the closest to that vibe! Please know when the day's Que is gone it is gone. Also, they make fantastic fried chicken but order ahead because if you order there it takes 30-40 minutes to prepare. This is not a place where loads of chicken is sitting in a warmer. This place is about how BBQ needs to be!
google avatar

john L.

Yelp
We all just go there for the fried chicken, and fried combos, everything else is ok. Spent $25 on a 8 piece tender dinner and still had the nerve to try to charge me $1.50 for a small thing of bbq sauce, i had to laugh and walk away. If you call to order and the older lady picks up, do yourself a favor and get a pizza, the food ain't worth dealing with her attitude.

Yelp
As good as people say. Chopped Chicken Sandwich and pulled pork were both excellent. Fries perfectly seasoned and mashed and gravy delicious. So much more on the menu to try. Can't wait to return

RM J.

Yelp
Not very enjoyable. Brisket was super dry. Have had better BBQ at many other locations. Would not return

Roy M.

Yelp
Overall inconsistent quality of meat and fish. A few weeks ago we ordered brisket meat and some pork ribs, as well as a couple of fish and chips. The pork ribs were fairly dry, but the brisket meat was excellent, soft and tasty with just a little bit of fat, and the fish and chips were good. Then recently we ordered again from here, brisket meat (skipped the ribs this time because of the previous experience) and a few orders of fish and chips. The brisket was dry this time, lifeless and chewy. Not very flavorful. The fish pieces had 25% of them just the breaded exterior without any fish inside. Wherever there was fish it was very good and fresh. The one consistent thing was the fries, they were very good on both occasions. We might get fish and chips again from this place but I'd be hesitant to order meat just because I wouldn't know what I would be getting.
google avatar

Stef P.

Yelp
The service was fantastic and the food matched! I don't like brisket, but Kinsfolk brisket was super tasty! Had the pulled pork sandwich with hush puppies. Pulled pork was yummy and best hush puppies I've ever had. Also had angel's wings and they were battered and fried to perfection. Definitely found my go-to BBQ shop, finally!

Bob G.

Yelp
The BEST BBQ and fried food in the area. Real southern hospitality. Fabulous food at very reasonable prices. Top quality food!! YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!!!
google avatar

Theresa R.

Yelp
Excellent cuisine! Everything comes out fresh and flavorful and the chicken is oh so crispy and juicy! Not a dry thigh in the house! The bbq has a nice smoky flavor and had my family coming back for more the very next weekend. We really enjoyed the ribs, brisket, collard greens, mashed potatoes and gravy, Mac and cheese and potato salad. The cornbread is sweet and moist. The service is straight forward. I can't say anyone is extraordinarily friendly but they work hard and got my order right each time. That gets an A in my book! It's a grab and go place so plan to carry out and eat in your car if the aroma lures you on the way home. My family is hooked!

Yelp
Best damn fried chicken. Super moist and flavorful. Great prices . Really great service- call ahead. 15 minute ride home was still hot. And 8 and 12 piece dinner comes to just shy of $50. Comes with two sides each and cornbread. Enough for dinner for 6 with 5 large pieces left for salads for dinner tonight. Just do it. You won't be disappointed

Yelp
On Wednesday, February 19th I called and left a message about placing a catering order .. My fault I wasn't aware that you had to send an email. However i also called on Friday as well . On Saturday 2/21/25 @ 12:03 pm I called the restaurant again and a pleasant woman picked up the phone. I mentioned that i had called on Wednesday/Friday to place a catering order . She responded that they couldn't take my order as it was too late I mentioned that no one had returned my 2x call, NO ONE NEVER CALLED BACK ..... I informed her that i was looking for 2 racks of ribs and 2 ( 12 ) piece chicken wings and she informed me to call at 11.30 am tomorrow-Saturday 2/22/25 and they can accommodate up to $150.00 in store . as we started to end the conversation I said one more thing , can you tell me how many people your sides serve . She replied 2 to 3 . In the background i heard an authoritative male say "Who are you talking too , she replied " I called about catering and no one called her back " .. in a dominant authoritative VOICE AGAIN ,, the male told her to get off the phone , hang up ... I couldn't believe it ... as we are in the midst of Black History Month I am shocked that we are delivering such poor customer service , matter of fact I'm saddened that on any given day/month .. we continue to deliver poor customer service. I live close by and used to live in Boston so Soul Food is rare to find.. I'm saddened by the way he talked to his employee ... and that he informed her to get off the phone ... knowing I was a customer. I'm hoping this is a teachable moment that we need to do better Dr. Susan Williams

Yelp
Excellent food! Prices are reasonable too Placed an order by phone and they were nice and helpful and it was ready on time despite being busy

Kolby T.

Yelp
food was good but staff consistently forgets items in my orders. they are repeat offenders of that!!

Jay P.

Yelp
Kinfolks recently catered a work event. If it's possible to have a food orgasm, I had one. Absolute perfection! Fresh and delicious. Ate 8 hours ago and I'm still full!

Yelp
I came across this place thanks to an ad I saw on their Facebook page for Southern fried rabbit. It had caught my interest and so I called and placed an order that night. The food was fantastic! I had never had rabbit before but it tasted like chicken. Their cornbread and Mac and cheese is delicious too. The service was quick and the girl at the counter was pleasant to speak to. The prices are also very reasonable and even less than some other local BBQ joints. If you're looking for some good barbecue or even something a little different, then this is the place to come!

Dawn-Marie S.

Yelp
I understand why this place is Award Winning! The food is very good and they give you plenty. Their spareribs are outstanding, falling off the bone! They are cooked to perfection! Their sauces are to die for, especially when you mixed them together! Can't get enough of their ribs and chicken. The collards are very tender, not as flavorful as I would like but not everyone likes them as spicy as I do!

Emily R.

Yelp
This place is HORRIBLE, they treat their employees like peasants and the food is NOT fresh at all. Never go here.

Dick S.

Yelp
Delicious Southern cooking with award winning BBQ, delicious fried chicken, catfish with tasty sides, greens, yams, mac&cheese, potatoes! Ample quantities at reasonable prices. Great service for takeout!

Yelp
I've been eating Kinfolks since he was on the side of the road on route 44 in Taunton. ALWAYS CONSISTENT. ALWAYS FRESH! ALWAYS DELICIOUS! Granny wings are always a favorite. The ribs are to die for! The owner, Sylvester, is very accommodating and very professional. He totally cares about his customers and gets up every morning before the sun comes up to provide us with his incredible barbecue. It's worth every penny. There really is no better barbecue in Massachusetts than Kinfolks. HIGHLY RECOMMEND AND 5 Stars!
google avatar

Charmie C.

Yelp
The best feature on the menu is the hush puppies. My goodness the flavor...the crisp...WOW!! I also enjoyed the chopped chicken. This place is clearly family owned and they put a lot of love and care into taking and fulfilling each order. I really appreciated that flair and it made the food even better.
google avatar

Ann S.

Yelp
BBQ ribs and fried chicken are always on point! The sides are aight. Since COVID-19, it hasn't really provided done-in, so best to take out. The service has always been good!
google avatar

Jim T.

Yelp
Yes, I support this business!!! They are originally from Florida and have traveled the country competing in competitions and have won numerous awards with there food products!!!

Kalimah N.

Yelp
Good food but constant inability to order food, will say to use online ordering but it's down most of the time and you can't get through on phone, peak times the truck is supposed to be open it's been closed, I would not just venture here w/o getting through first. They definitely don't handle the volume well.

Yelp
3 Meat Combo with 2 sides, cant believe it all fit in one little container Brisket was really tough against the fork, could barely get the fork through. Moist looking. Mud like rub. Easier to bite into than I thought it would. Tastes a lot better than it looks. Nothing that powerful of a taste. It's on the drier style of Brisket that I don't really like, but the flavor was leaning more on the smoke side and it helped a bit. Other pieces were falling apart a bit more. The fat didn't melt as good as some other places and not a lot of flavor in it at all. The Rub is definitely the type of rub for Brisket, not sweet or spicy just savory smokey. Fried Chicken they told me I had to wait for 30 minutes. They opened maybe 30 minutes before I places my order and maybe that's just how fast they sell this chicken? They turned on the fryer when they opened the door? They were running behind? Is it cooked to order? I don't know but Wow it was good. Super tender and juicy and the fried mix was perfect crisp and taste. Some of the best I've ever had. Ribs was looking perfect! Size was that perfect typical 1" by 1/2" not much of an arch in the bone. The rub was on the red side and leaving a nice smoke ring and definitely made for Ribs, I've had spicy rubs and sweet rubs on ribs that I absolutely LOVE but this stuff was a perfect balance of Savory and Smokey and it compliments the meat like crazy! Is it the type of Rib Rub I would eat all the time? I'm not sure, I know it Should be but sometimes that delicious sweet rub is crazy good. But a damn near Perfect Rib Mac and Cheese is very much the grocery hot bar style mac and cheese. Although I will say if you did some kind of blind taste test between different hot bar mac and cheeses, I'm confident people will choose this one as the best. Some sort a tiny little zing to it that is probably overlooked like crazy. Beans looked like regular pinto or red beans in a brown sauce. Digging into it I found meat and maybe a sliver or two of some onion. The last like 4 BBQ places I've been to I've tasted the onion or veggies in the Baked Beans much more than I ever had before and this is no exception. The onions are almost equally as powerful and work well with the beans. I don't know what's going on though, Are Onion's more powerful in the winter or something? Cornbread, thin piece, didn't look like anything special, wasn't. Candied or Sweet Yams, We don't get many places doing yams up here but my GOD they are good! If you've never had, it's pretty much sweet potato They had 4 sauce options ... well let me clarify what was communicated. Sauces were not up on the board or in the menu so I asked what kind of sauces they had. They named 4 sauces but I could only distinguish 2 that were right there so I chose the "Mustard" and the "Sweet". One of the other sauces they said was "Garlic" and in my head I was thinking it must be like minced garlic to sprinkle on like grated cheese or like that disgusting Garlic butter sauce from Papa John's. And I couldn't make out what the 4th one was but I was also thinking it wasn't actually a sauce. I had a feeling the sauce wasn't going to rock my world anyway so I just took the 2 and went on my way. And yup, The "Mustard" is a gold sauce thick and slow, and the Sweet is a thicker ketchup like sauce very sweet, typical sauces nothing wrong just ... whatever, none of the stuff needed sauce anyway. All in all them RIBS were definitely Award Winning! Chicken is Award Winning! Brisket and the sides could use some work. And that sauce tastes like it's from the store. But still it's all good enough for me to give a solid 4 stars.
google avatar

Gale S.

Yelp
Food was great ! Customer service in person (on a not so busy day mind you) , not great . Not the most friendly or attentive. I asked for "hot sauce" and when i got home, yammed open the bag and found hot bbq sauce, not hot sauce. Please go the extra 11 words and clarify to the customer that the hot bbq is all you have, as oppose to handing them something to shut them up. Food was still good. Will definitely be back !

Art P.

Yelp
The place we usually order from was closed for the holiday. Did some research and ordered from Kinfolks. First, the service. I ordered through their online app. The owner contacted me by phone and said they were out of one of the items I ordered. He worked with me to work things out and was very, very accommodating. Second, the food. Really, really good across the board. We tried most of the menu and it was all excellent! Very nice people, great food. Highly recommended!

Michael D.

Yelp
I paid $25 for a half rack of ribs. Very little meat and the meat was totally overt cooked and inedible.
google avatar

Fred R.

Yelp
Best BBQ outside of Texas! Have to order early to get your fried chicken! Pulled pork is delicious!

Yelp
I went to kinfolk on 4/4/20 after driving one hour. Prior to calling we asked did they have collard greens and the angel chicken wings. The girl told us they had plenty of both. I arrived ordered 2 meats with two large sides. One of the sides was supposed to be collards. The the man said to the cashier they hAd the greens then turned around and said they didn't have it right in front of my face. They were literally giving phone customers priority over folks in the restaurant. The orders he filled came after me. I was very upset The second order was Angel Wings which are whole wings I believe 6 wings. Now they tell me they don't have whole wings but wing dings. Wow another item they changed but didn't tell us when we drove one hour. Got home the food the ribs were small, cold, and tough. The Mac&Cheese was extremely dry and crumbly. And the Yams had no juice and was flavorless. They need to have some adult cooks and not all these young people running the place. I will not recommend or return this was my second time being displeased with the food. Kinfolk was much better when it was a food truck that's when they cared about their product and customers. Now that they have a store front the food and customer service has gone out the window. They lost a loyal customer that use to drive a hour for these once amazing ribs and collards. Message to owner please work on these problems after a while word will get around about the quality of food.
google avatar

Dale L.

Yelp
I have family that lives nearby and I stop in to kinfolks for an order of angel wings whenever I get the chance! They are the best!
google avatar

Thanh L.

Yelp
It's been a while since I went to kinfolk, since that time they moved into a building. The place has a decent number of tables. The service was smooth and fast. I got the 3 meat Combo which was brisket, ribs and pull pork with baked beans and sweet yam. Everything was good. No reason complaint. Price is reasonable for the quality and portion. I had enough for 2 meals. Definitely, suggest you come back and try it for yourself.

Yelp
Located in the parking lot of a liquor store that's right on route 44, Kinfolks BBQ could very easily be completely missed. But once you pull up, their big double smokers and two large trailers are rather impressive. This is probably the biggest non-brick and mortar setup I've ever seen. And there's good reason for it. They are popular and their food absolutely rocks. The owners are super friendly and placing a catering ordering for the Superbowl was an absolutely breeze. They held my hand through options and made some great suggestions. When I came to pick it up, they were slammed but able to process everything quickly and without any chaos somehow. The ribs were great and there was a nice smoke flavor to them. Maybe a little bite but overall some of the tastiest I've had. The brisket was a bit on the drier side but still very tasty. The pulled pork was great and the sides were delightful as well. We had their mac and cheese and their collard greens. Both were good although I would have loved a touch more acid in the collards. Oh and we also had their hushpuppies although they were very dense and incredibly filling. I'd stay away and leave room for something else. The cornbread was also very good. I would say that for the most part, their BBQ is very good and only had a couple of flaws: their sauces were a bit too thick and sweet for my taste and the brisket was a tad too dry. But then again, I had their food on their busiest of weeks. I'll definitely return and update once I have more of it down the road. I look forward to another visit!

Neysa M C.

Yelp
This place is Delicious food, quality, fair prices and overall amazing! You will not regret it.

Yelp
Was a fan long before they opened their restaurant. Coming up Rt 44 the smells that came from their grills was intoxicating and drew you right in. We ordered many times from their spot near Globe Liquors. Barbecue goodness at its very best!
google avatar

Shamia E.

Yelp
I was visiting the area and I heard ravings about the Angel Wings. They are basically these deliciously battered, seasoned and fried chicken wings. I immediately understood exactly why they are popular. These wings were definitely delicious. My favorite item on my plate was the gravy. It reminded me of my Grandmothers. It immediately took me back to my childhood. I was so very pleased. The mashed potatoes was good as well. The macaroni and cheese wasn't all that great but it wasn't nasty. It was ok. It lacked flavor. The hushpuppies were different than any I ever had. They seemed more like a fried dumpling and coated in corn meal. It wasn't the normal consistency of a hushpuppy throughout. Though they were delicious. However they made them it definitely worked.
google avatar

Dan P.

Yelp
they are always out of something you try to order. i found the chicken that i had to wait 25 minutes for was quite dry. i suggest ordering ahead of time and not when you get there.

Christine S.

Yelp
The sides have gone downhill like collard greens but the brisket is the best around. They offer dessert but you can't get it on door dash and they finally added sauces but now for a charge. I'm compelled to go elsewhere unless I feel like brisket.
google avatar

Camille T.

Yelp
Beat BBQ ever!!! I drove by this restaurant for almost 15 years. I also drove by their satellite food truck and I never stopped. I finally went with a few friends/coworkers to the restaurant one day for lunch and I was really disappointed that I had never come here before this visit. The food was so good. I got the beef brisket with baked beans and corn bread and it was all just so delicious. You basically go up to the counter and order what you want, and then sit and wait for then to call your number. So it's an easy and laid back system and we didn't wait long at all for the food to come out. It was fresh and hot and so good. Any opportunity I have to come back here, I'll definitely keep it on my list. It was really good, and while some BBQ can be heavy and sit in your stomach all day, I was happy that when we left I didn't feel like I needed to be rolled out. Overall a great place to eat!
google avatar

Kiara V.

Yelp
Does not live up to the hype. I take it, it's very hyped up because it's the south shore and the food here is trash. This place was just ok. We ordered two plates. (Taunton location was closed so had to drive farther to the next nearest location) got chicken wings, Mac, they had no yams so fries and another plate with ribs Mac and fries. Mac had no flavor. Ribs were just ok. The chicken was the best thing on the plate. Would not come back.
google avatar

Janet Q.

Yelp
The definition of no-frills good food. Kinfolks is minority-owned and serves GREAT BBQ, with little competition on the south shore. We got pulled pork and brisket sandwiches, baked mac and cheese, fried okra, and mashed potatoes. Although the sandwiches are literally just meat, bread, and your choice of sauce, you won't care because it is so tender and juicy, and the prices are reasonable. The sides are basically $3-$6 depending on size - and there's a good variety of pairings. Dinners and plates come with sides. Mac and cheese was super creamy and cheesy, exactly how I like it. I think the fried okra was decent but should have come with its own sauce or extra seasoning in the coating. Well-set up for takeout, although quite busy on a weekend afternoon. We would definitely order from here or possibly the Easton location again.

Rob F.

Yelp
I got two two meat and a one meat combo. We had pulled pork, brisket, cornbread, hush puppies, potato salad, cole slaw, and mac and cheese. Starting from best to worst, the brisket was good. I got more in my 2 meat combo than my Sister in Law got in her single! Was good though. There will be brisket sandwiches in my future. This is the sole reason for 3 stars. The pulled pork was dry and chewy. It seems they cooked the life out of it. The cornbread was very fine like cake mix. No grit like you would expect from cornmeal. The cole slaw is the horseradish and vinegar dressed variety. The potato salad was full of green bell peppers. The mac and cheese was overcooked and soft. The hushpuppies were perfectly round, crunchy on the outside, and cake on the inside. They reminded me of a donut hole. Not a cornmeal and onion fried batter hushpuppy. The consensus of the three of us was the brisket was good, the pulled pork was dry, and the sides were meh. They just want meat next time!

Nancy O.

Yelp
Our experience was very disappointing. We ordered 8 piece fried chicken meal with 2 sides tonite. Definitely did NOT look like the picture they show on their website. I see they were promoting chicken tenders today. All chicken tenders, probably leftover from the lunch people did not order. I expected, as a usual order, 2 drums, 2 thighs, 2 breasts and 2 wings. I would think that would be reasonable to expect. Plus it was too salty. Plus skimpy potato salad (not homemade definitely) and mac & cheese. We wanted to try it because we had heard it was so good???? Maybe that was when they had their food cart on Rte. 44. The entire meal was awful. Won't be going back.

Yelp
My new bbq place in Massachusetts. As a guy from the south, I have been a snob about where I get my bbq. This place has it. The ribs are the best you will get up here; just the right amount of smoke. They can be hit or miss on how much meat you have on the bone but it is falls off. The pulled pork is pretty good. Smoked chicken is really flavorful. Angel wings are good. Sides were not my favorites. Not sure if the hushpuppies are made in store or not but they are fantastic. Beans were more "meh" than the hushpuppies. Greens/mash potatoes are both good. Overall. Will probably not find another bbq place that has on southern trophies anywhere in New England.

Yelp
You can tell how people feel about you by how they treat you. I hit this spot up at 7:10pm, due to COVID 19, everyone waited outside to place an order and we entered one customer at a time. I appreciate everyone being safe. I entered when the previous customer exited and when the employee returned to the register, I asked for one of the family fried chicken meals along with some Angel Wings. She said "we stop serving chicken at 7:30pm". I looked at my watch and sure enough it was now 7:31pm. I said to her, "I was in line for 20 minutes outside before I could place my order." She simply shrugged her shoulders. I appreciate fresh food that is cooked to order, that why I drove here from Carver an hour before they are scheduled to close. A more efficient system might look like, around 7pm, 7:15pm and 7:25pm, send someone out to take the orders for fried chicken. Just a suggestion. No need to take pre-orders for the BBQ because that appears to come from the steam table, out of Zip Loc bags. Why create more barriers to customers who want to spend money with your business? I support small businesses, but small businesses should not make it more difficult to do business. This communicates that you can do without your customers money. Oh the restaurant next door went out of business this year, I wonder how many customers they turned away 30 minutes before closing.

Yelp
Kinfolks is amazing. The fried chicken and ribs are terrific. I've never had a bad meal there. We drive about 30 mins to get there And it's well worth the trip. The owner chef is a true gentleman. He cares about how his food is prepared and received! We had a small mixup once in all the times we've gone there. He went over and above to make it right. We so appreciate his caring attitude and wonderful food. Mamy Blessings, "Bob"
