JED Airport is bright, clean, and modern. Toilets are clean, the ceiling artwork is beautiful, and the runway looks great at night with its floor lighting. A big section is still under renovation, so it doesn’t yet feel fully complete. Shops like Pret à Manger and Duty Free are open, the lounge chairs are very comfortable, and the train to Terminal 1 is smooth and efficient. One idea that would make this airport unforgettable? An indoor light show in the main hall. This is a mix of art, music, and lights that passengers could enjoy while waiting for flights. It would give JED a true “wow factor” like no other airport in the WORLD!

I had a wonderful experience at the new Jeddah Airport, Terminal A. The airport itself is beautiful, modern, and very well designed. From the moment I entered, everything felt organized and comfortable. The Saudi Airlines check-in counters were smooth, and immigration was quick and efficient. After that, I took the airport’s automated metro train, which was fast and comfortable, quickly taking us to the gates area. The whole process was seamless and stress-free. Truly impressed with the airport’s beauty, management, and world-class facilities.

Modern ✈️, clean 🧼, and spacious 🏛️! Loved the huge aquarium 🐠, prayer areas 🕌, and quick immigration ✅. Direct Haramain train 🚄 to Makkah is a big plus. Great food & coffee ☕🍔 (Starbucks, Costa, Tim Hortons, McDonald’s, Paul, Bateel) and shopping 🛍️ at Duty Free. Lounges (Emirates & Saudia) are excellent ✨. Just improve Wi-Fi 📶 and inter-terminal transfers 🚐.

I recently traveled through King Abdulaziz international airport and had a fantastic experience! The airport was clean, modern, and well-organized, making it easy to navigate. The staff at security and customs were friendly and efficient, and the lines moved quickly. I also appreciated the wide range of dining and shopping options available. The airport's amenities, such as free Wi-Fi and comfortable seating areas, made my layover enjoyable. Overall, I'd highly recommend to fellow travelers. Five stars isn't enough – I'd give it ten stars if I

We traveled from Makka to Jeddah by bus, which took around one hour. The Zamzam kiosk is located outdoors, and we bought before entering the boarding pass area. They allowed one 5L bottle per person, and the price appears to be unjustified. The lengthy line for boarding passes took about an hour to process. In contrast, immigration required less time. An internal shuttle train transports us to the boarding area. We finished our prayers at the praying area. The restrooms were clean, as was the ablution area. The infrastructure exemplifies elegance and modernism. The outside parking space has shade, which seems necessary given the scorching weather.

⭐ Review of King Abdulaziz International Airport – Jeddah (KAIA) ⭐ I recently traveled through King Abdulaziz International Airport (KAIA) in Jeddah, and I must say the airport has come a long way in terms of design, efficiency, and traveler comfort. The new terminal is modern, spacious, and beautifully reflects the culture of Saudi Arabia. 🏢 Terminal & Infrastructure: The new terminal is massive and beautifully designed with high ceilings, natural lighting, and wide walking spaces. Everything looks clean and modern, with signs in both Arabic and English to help guide international travelers. The layout is intuitive, and it’s fairly easy to navigate between check-in, immigration, and boarding gates. 📦 Facilities & Services: The airport offers a wide range of facilities, including comfortable seating, charging stations, lounges (like the Alfursan Lounge), prayer rooms, clean washrooms, and duty-free shops. There are also a variety of restaurants and cafés offering local and international cuisines. The presence of automated passport control gates, smart baggage handling, and digital display boards has made the overall experience much smoother. 👮‍♂️ Security & Immigration: Immigration and security staff were professional and organized, though during peak hours the queues can get quite long, especially for economy class passengers. However, the process is generally efficient, and the staff are courteous and helpful. 🛬 Arrivals & Baggage Claim: The arrival area is neat, and the baggage claim is well-managed. Luggage came out in a timely manner. Customs clearance was smooth and not too time-consuming. 🚕 Transportation: Getting to and from the airport is easy, with plenty of taxi options, ride-sharing services, and private car hires available. There is also a train station inside the airport which connects to other major cities in Saudi Arabia, which is a huge plus for domestic travelers. 🕌 Spiritual Touch: One unique feature of Jeddah Airport is its spiritual significance as the gateway for millions of Hajj and Umrah pilgrims. There are beautiful Islamic elements in the design, and the airport does a good job handling the seasonal influx of pilgrims. 🔄 Areas for Improvement: While the new terminal is a big upgrade, during peak hours it can still get crowded, especially near immigration and baggage claim. Also, signage for connecting flights and some gate announcements can be improved for better clarity. 📝 Final Thoughts: Overall, King Abdulaziz International Airport is now one of the better airports in the region. With its upgraded facilities, improved services, and cultural elegance, it offers a welcoming experience for both local and international travelers. A big step forward for Saudi Arabia in terms of airport infrastructure. ⭐ Rating: 4.9/5

Very nice experience. Though it was my first time in the country, I was able to use the Egate and my immigration happened in less than 5 minutes. The duty free is huge and requires a minimum of 1-2 hours to check & shop. Since I had paucity of time, I just rushed through.
