"The author followed a recipe from King Arthur Baking and consulted Martin Phillip, a baking ambassador for the company, taking pains to weigh ingredients and follow timings and visual cues. Phillip advises: 'Use high-quality ingredients and attention to detail — pretend you are assembling something from Ikea — and [the rolls] will be great.'
