The Best Restaurants in Mills 50 in Orlando, Florida. | Eater Miami

"The gratifying fillings this Mills 50 mainstay manages to stuff into its fluffy steamed buns are hard to beat, be it kimchi fried chicken, Korean short rib, or firecracker shrimp. Vegan and vegetarian options are also offered (try the bao filled with a sweet potato croquette) while a quartet of tater tots (go with the truffle) prove worthy sides. Check the board for a rotating roster of specials." - Faiyaz Kara

My daughter and I tried King Bao in Mills for the first time, and we were pleasantly surprised! There was no wait, which was great, and ordering was super easy thanks to their self-serve kiosk with pictures – love that feature for trying something new. We ordered two combos and chose the Hogzilla, Cuban, Glen Rhee, and Coco Loco. Every single bao had its own unique flavor – savory, sweet, and perfectly balanced. The portions were just right and the presentation was spot on. Overall, great food, fast service, and fun vibes. Definitely worth the visit if you’re craving something flavorful and different!

Google
This restaurant is a hidden gem. It has a very modest appearance near a busy intersection, but the food here is amazing. Reasonably priced for such tasty bao creations. They are not stingy with the food and the preparation is done quickly and with care. Beautiful food presentation. Friendly service. This is a must try restaurant for Bao lovers.

Google
The Baos were all great! I liked the elote, kickin chicken, and the bbq rib. The only issue was the overwhelming smell of frying oil. I am super sensitive to smells and couldn’t wait to leave because of it. Otherwise the flavor combinations were great and the food didn’t take long .

Google
My husband and I tried King Bao Mills for the first time. There wasn’t a wait, you order on the kiosk and I love how it has the pictures. The Hogzilla, Cuban, Glen Rhee, Chicken Katsu Curry, Hot Chicken, along with truffle tots and street corn. Yeah… 2-3 bao and some tots are more than enough to get you full. It’s the next day, and I still feel stuffed! The food was good—possibly the best bao in Orlando—but not as mind-blowing as some reviews made it seem. Each bao had a distinct flavor, which I appreciated. My husband really enjoyed the Hogzilla, and my favorite was the Chicken Katsu Curry. Overall, a solid spot for bao lovers. Would I come back? Definitely. Would I say it's life-changing? Not quite, but it's worth the visit!

Google
Absolutely loved King Bao! Got the soft shell crab and glen rhee baos- enjoyed the glen rhee more because the meat was so soft and flavorful but you can’t go wrong with either. Two pieces was enough cause I wasn’t too hungry but definitely go for three or more if you are

Google
King Bao is a must-visit for any foodie! I was blown away by their ability to blend traditional bao bun flavors with innovative, gourmet fusion twists. The buns are warm, soft, and bursting with flavor, and the diverse menu ensures there’s something for every palate. As someone who loves exploring new restaurants, it’s rare for a place to earn a spot in my regular rotation—but King Bao has done just that. Highly recommend!

Google
⸻ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 Stars – Flavor Explosion at King Bao on Mills! King Bao on Mills never misses! Every time I stop by, I’m blown away by the flavor, freshness, and creativity packed into each bao. The pork belly is melt-in-your-mouth perfection, the firecracker shrimp has the perfect crunch and kick, and the tofu bao is a surprisingly bold option for plant-based lovers. The buns are always soft and pillowy, and the fillings are layered with texture and flavor. Prices are super reasonable, especially for the quality you’re getting. Fast service, cool vibe, and consistently delicious every time. Whether you’re grabbing a quick lunch or showing off Orlando’s food scene to visitors, King Bao is a must-try!

Google
I tried the hot chicken and the hogzilla boas. It was so delicious. I’m normally not crazy about fusion food, but this hit the spot.

Yelp
Awesome food is what you'd expect here. We had ordered 8 different kinds of baos and all of them had their unique combination of flavors that's perfectly put together. I enjoyed particularly the most - Hogzilla, What the Fish, and the Ouster Bao. Parking is a bit challenging. I actually got lucky that there was one open street parking available when we arrived.

Yelp
Found it a little dirty the tables were sticky Device was quite good and friendly Loved the avocado fried baja

Yelp
The baos were a 3/5 for me, but I'm knocking off an additional star because the three bao combo that I ordered ended up being more expensive than if I had ordered the three baos individually. I knew there was a surcharge for seafood baos, but the surcharge shouldn't make the combo more expensive than ordering individually. There's no customer support email, so if anyone from the staff sees this, I would appreciate some help in rectifying the situation. In terms of the food, the baos were drenched in sauce, which made them not enjoyable because I couldn't taste the actual protein. The sauce was also messy to eat and made the crispy coating soggy. I also didn't like how thick the baos were. Overall, I'm disappointed because the menu looked promising.

Yelp
I have always wanted to try this place out! I love Baos so I was really excited to try a place dedicated to making them. The inside looks pretty run down and a bit dirty to be honest. The art was really cool though. The staff here were okay, did not seem happy to be there. I got the Glen Rhee Bao to try something a bit different. The Bao Bun was tough not soft and fluffy. The beef tasted old and a bit burnt. Very disappointing. Maybe it was an off day for them. I don't think I will be coming back here.

Yelp
Got to try this pop up at tortuga festival 2024! Tried their braised pork bao and gochujang chicken bao. Both were super delicious! I have to give it a 4/5 because I haven't actually been to their stand alone location but overall flavor was good !

Yelp
This is a great place that when I'm in the area, I'm always sure to make a stop at for a quick bite! Be aware if you're going on a weekend night; it will be busy, of course, and it may take a while to find parking on the street here. There's plenty of bao options, and I actually appreciate them transitioning to a touch screen ordering system so you can really take a few minutes to decide what you want. With bao being so filling, my go-to is their lunch combo with your choice of two buns and a drink. I went with the hogzilla and the glen rhee. The pork belly and the pickled carrots really add to the overall flavor of the bun, and the pork belly is absolutely mouth-watering and tender in every bite. The Glen Rhee pork was my favorite. Again, like the hogzilla extremely tender, but the flavor was just incredible. I love it when places add cilantro for garnish. The place is quite small, but I find there to be enough seating alongside the wall and window. The staff here are awesome and always kind. A great find in the Orlando area!

Yelp
Definitely a no frills kind of place. The inside is painted all black and definitely not very inviting but the food speaks for itself. We got two baos and they were both pretty good but I liked the firecracker shrimp more. It was breaded nicely and the sauce had a great kick to it. Personally, I liked the tater tots the most! It was loaded with all the toppings and had some runny egg and sauce in every bite.

Yelp
I'd never had bao buns before visiting, so when I was in the area my brother told me I had to check this restaurant out. From the outside it doesn't look like much; it's the epitome of a hole-in-the-wall so that got me excited. Inside there's some tables & counter seating available but I'm sure it could fill up quickly during their rushes. It was slow when I visited but the tabletops were clean & the food prep area looked pretty neat. The only negative thing I could say about my experience was the lack of customer service when I arrived because I wasn't welcomed by anyone. With that said, the food quality & speed of service definitely helped make up for that. For my choices I got the Kickin' Chicken, Hogzilla & Glen Rhee Bao. I was amazed at how soft the buns were & they all came out super hot. The combination of ingredients really worked with one another, there wasn't a single one that didn't taste delicious. My personal favorite was the Kickin' Chicken. The sriracha aioli & fresh cucumbers gave it a perfect balance of spice & cool. The breading of the fried chicken was light & didn't taste greasy at all. Offering 2 & 3 bun combos that come with a drink, this place gives you a bang for your buck. The buns are stuffed full & everything tasted fresh. The food is well worth 5 stars so I'll definitely come back when I'm in the area, I just hope the employees will be more welcoming. Coming here for my 1st bao experience has definitely set the bar high!

Yelp
King Bao is definitely somewhere I'm a regular at. You can always count on the food to be bursting with flavor and to be freshly made every time. I got the hot chicken bao and the veganville. I usually get the kickin chicken and veganville which is what I'll continue doing for sure. Kickin chicken has a sauce on it that's just too good! Veganville is honestly my favorite one even though I'm not vegan, it's filled with so much flavor I crave it all the time! Now they have a self order area along with ordering with a cashier. The staff is super nice and even asked if the music was okay for us which was super funny and thoughtful. It was only me and my friend when we went but it was still a vibe. I recommend you stopping by and supporting this local spot! Definitely an Orlando staple.

Yelp
My friend mentioned this was a good place and it's right next door to the Royal Tea cafe. It's a small, intimate place that serves small bites and snacks. It does not have a lot of seating - if you go during a peak time, you might have a hard time finding a spot to sit. I got lucky and some folks left after we placed our order on the tablet. They have staple Bao buns and tater tot dishes and some specialty options that change regularly. I went for their chicken Katsu curry Bao and the Porky's Tatchos. Food is ordered on the tablet and you wait for them to call your name out. I think my order took no more than 3-5 minutes and it was freshly made. The Bao bun was flavorful and had plenty of curry sauce and a good sized piece of chicken in the Bao bun. The Tatchos were a bit messy and better eaten with a fork, but they were delicious. Parking can be a toss-up. You may find a spot on the street but only if you come early or get lucky. Do not park in the lot behind Royal Tea or the other lot on the other side of the fence of the Royal Tea lot - you will be towed!

Yelp
I can say all the food was great besides the Mr Potato head it did not have much flavor. The rest were super good. The kimchi tots were delicious! I also liked that the kimchi was cut in small chunk a. We all shared each others. Think my favorite was the oyster, so flavorful and juicy. It is super busy, but we found front row parking and a table. You place your order on the screen and wait for your order. It did not take long and it was a little loud but not too bad.

Yelp
This place smacked me in the face with how incredible it was. I came here one day with some friends, and we went to town on these baos. Small store right off the Mills-50 intersection. Found street parking really easy this Saturday afternoon. Came in, got a table, and started browsing the specials menu, to see if I wanted to opt for any of them over their regular menu baos. I love that they have a specials menu. Not sure how often they rotate them, but the fact that it exists at all give this place pretty significant replay value. So I made my choices and went to order at the screens. You can't order through a real person, which bums me out, but hey, I guess that's what's popular nowadays. So I got eight baos and an order of the Truffle Tots (Tots, Truffle Oil, Truffle Salt & Chives). I can't remember every single bao, but I do remember at least that I got the: Hogzilla (Thick Cut Braised Pork Belly, Pickled Carrots, Daikon, Ground Honey Roasted Peanuts & Cilantro), and the WTF "What the Fish" (Tempura White Fish, Kimchi Slaw, Yuzu Tartar Sauce & Scallions). Sorry I can't remember the six other ones I got. Yeesh. I gotta start writing this stuff down. But I will say that every one of the eight baos I got were incredible. The bun itself is perfectly soft and fluffy and chewy and strong enough to really pack those toppings in for a good bite. I also love that the toppings per bao were scant. Just enough for each one to play a crucial part to the bao. Like in Hogzilla for example, pickled carrots for acid, daikon for the freshness, peanuts for the crunch, cilantro for the disgusting. Kidding. Kind of. But yea, this was excellent. And I can't quite put my finger on why, but having a truffle tot or two in between bites just made this a five star meal. Will be back, repeatedly.

Yelp
Came to Orlando to visit family and stopped by for a quick lunch. The location is right on a busy road, so parking was tricky but got lucky and got a spot right in front (would not recommend going during the 5 pm rush hour). The place is small and has limited seating, but the service was GREAT. I felt very welcomed and appreciated by the staff. Let's get to the FOOD... OMG what can I say... but AMAZING. This was my first time having Baos not from a grocery store, so I might be biased but it was incredible. I ordered the Chicken Katsu Curry, Hot Chicken, BBQ Rib, and one off the Special menu plus their tots, and everything was incredible. The baos are so soft and fluffy that I could sleep on them, and the protein for each meal was phenomenal. The only suggestion would be to hire an interior designer to bring the place to life because it looks a little run down from the inside and out... but maybe that's a good thing to keep it a hidden gem.

Yelp
Tiny sandwiches but pack big flavor. Come hungry and try a bunch of baos. My favorite 3 are the fish, shrimp, and the sweet potato bao. Tofu is delicious too. Made to order so always hot and fresh. Sides are limited. 2 locations in Orlando- both are excellent.

Skylar Y.

Yelp
Baos are my wife's favorite food so when we saw this on tik tok, we had to go! They were all so good! My favorite was the lobster roll and my wife's was the hogzilla. We will be back for sure!

Sanea F.

Yelp
These are one of my favorite bao buns in town! They never disappoint! Inner Harbor and Firecracker shrimp are my favorite. Porky tator tots is great! The Tarzan dessert is perfect when you love Nutella and banana!
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing bao buns!!!!! I wish the restaurant had a larger location because there wasn't a lot of seating inside and the parking situation is not the best. Nonetheless, we took the food to go and it was still great! The staff is extremely nice and knowledgeable! The bao buns are full of flavor! I will definitely come back.
google avatar

Anthony R.

Yelp
Really good, quick place to stop for Bao. My only gripe is I wish they gave you an option for grilled shrimp or chicken. If they did that I'd definitely go back!
google avatar

Raynelle S.

Yelp
So glad we found this place! The place is small and so we were glad to get seating. The menu is extensive and well priced so you can try multiple types of Baos. I had three baos: the pork belly, Korean short rib, and soft shell crab. The bread itself is so good, slightly sweet and savory. The fillings were generous, a lot of meat, toppings and sauce. This is a great value for a very filling meal. The service was fast and you order from a touch screen.
google avatar

Rachel R.

Yelp
Self-service for ordering. Not very talkative people working there. Tried to smile and say hello, maybe they didn't hear me but no response. Food was good and filling. Plan on going back to try different ones. Not overwhelming with flavor but it was good.
google avatar

Jamie T.

Yelp
Ambiance is great, very modern take of a bao restaurant. Service is great and fast, I like how they have a kiosk for ordering, it makes things so much easier and orders don't get messed up as often. The baos were great, the only one I did not like was the Korean short rib one. I would not recommend that one due to how dry it is. The Cuban one was MY FAVORITE of all time though!
google avatar

Maya P.

Yelp
I absolutely love this place, the food was delicious and came out quickly, the music was on point and the staff was friendly. I came here on a weekend afternoon for a quick bite after we couldn't get into Hawker's quickly enough. I ordered the hot chicken, softshell crab, and lobster roll bao. Y'ALL! They were all absolutely delicious, but I was shocked at how good the lobster roll was. I used to live in the NE and am a sucker for a hot lobster roll, and until I tried King Bao's cold lobster salad, I believed hot was the only way. Mind BLOWN and changed. This bao was perfect, I am a believer. As a former resident of Music City (Nashville!), I love hot chicken and was pleasantly surprised at how good the gochujang hot chicken sauce was, the chicken was juicy and perfectly cooked and the sweet pickle offset the spice perfectly. I enjoyed the softshell crab as well, I am picky about crab in general but this was well-cooked and the toppings made it so delicious. I cannot wait to go back again and again, they have definitely gained a fan!
google avatar

Jennifer L.

Yelp
You really can't beat this place. Prices are great, food is yum and service is fast. It's a no frills quick bites spot, but the food is what you're coming for, after all. We tried the Hogzilla (loaded with meat) , Kicking Chicken, WTF, Hot Chicken and Ghee. Every single bun was delicious. The bao was soft and fluffy. And....as if it couldn't get any better... the truffle tater tots were the perfect side accompaniment. This was well worth the visit to the downtown area for us.
google avatar

Caitlin R.

Yelp
King Bao has officially won my heart as a top-notch delivery go-to! Whether it's the loaded tots or the flavorful chicken baos, this place never disappoints. The baos and tots travel remarkably well. No compromise on taste or texture, even when delivered straight to your doorstep. And let's not forget the dessert baos - a sweet ending that's an absolute must!
google avatar

Colette L.

Yelp
We really loved King Bao! The employees were very friendly and welcoming! They have a very large menu of bao options and even a board for specials (definitely don't miss checking out these!). There are also a couple of vegan options and they can also make the Mr Potato Head vegan! In addition to baos they also have tots and desserts. We all got a bao combo and I got the Mr Potato Head, Kickin Chicken Bao and one of their specials: Chicken Catsu Curry. I was a huge fan of Mr Potato Head and the Chicken Catsu Curry. They were all delicious, those were just my two favorites. It is a small-ish restaurant, but we had no trouble with getting a seat on a Saturday afternoon. You order at the counter and then find a seat while you wait to pick up your order. Overall, I highly highly recommend checking out this place! The food is a great price for the quality and deliciousness, the food came out quickly and the staff was wonderful!! A definite gem in Orlando!
google avatar

Cat M.

Yelp
These are delicious!!! 5/5. Love that you can order on your own on a screen and make modification. Great for groups. Recommend the short rib tots, short rib, pork belly, and catsu curry. Every one of the Bao's are delicious. Recommend getting there at noon.
google avatar

Lawrence U.

Yelp
It's the Asian version of soft taco. Options for meat and limited vegan choices. Ordered the Hogzilla, kickin chicken, glen rhee, hot chicken. Fast service. Relaxed ambiance. Prices are acceptable
google avatar

Stephanie M.

Yelp
Food all delicious! Service was quick! We went here to grab a quick lunch. Ordered on screens (we got a little help cuz we thought we did it wrong, thanks again) waited maybe 10 min for food (Monday at 2:30) and we were back on the road enjoying the food while we drove. Perfect!
google avatar

Treace M.

Yelp
Basically you can't go wrong with anything you ask for here that you know you would like to eat. From top notch high energy customer service when you walk in to the rememberable party in your mouth from your first taste of food that comes out fast. This will be my go to place. Limited seating. You can take out or instead of catching a table you can sit a long side the wall with bar type of seating. A must try place!
google avatar

Kate M.

Yelp
King Bao has been one of our favorite places for a weekend lunch since 2019...which was when we really started out Orlando foodies journey! Their baos are always fresh and I tend to order the same combination of baos and they are always consistent. My favorite two are the Baja Avocado and Potato Head Potato Croquette Boas. We also love to get a side of the Fire Tots which matches perfect with the baos. The sauce on top of them is ! They are located in the Mills 50 District and are close to so many other great places that you can go after like a tea shop next door, and breweries down the street.
google avatar

Neil P.

Yelp
Wow is an understatement! First and foremost the staff is all super friendly. I have to apologize that I didn't ask their name. He recommended the hot chicken, hogzilla and the Glen Rhee Bao. They have a 2 Bao and a drink for $8.50 which is a great deal! I highly recommend coming to this gem.
google avatar

Cheryl W.

Yelp
Creative menu with good variety and good prices. Self order on a touchscreen and seat yourself, super basic location (not a ton of parking!) but keeps things quick and simple. Flavors were good and so many options!
google avatar

Elease S.

Yelp
I have been going to King Bao for YEARS now and they have never failed to disappoint. This gem of a restaurant is right around the corner from my former job right on Mills. It's prime location is really just a plus as it's near other great gems, like The Strand, Tori Tori, Royal Teas and a slew of other great restaurants along Mills and Colonial. To make matters better, their Firecracker Shrimp Bao - which wasn't overly spicy and well seasoned - always BLESSES my soul ! And if I could live off sweets and not have to worry about any repercussions I would do it!!! But alas that isn't the case but their Igloo surely made me want to reconsider that plan! It is just delectable!! Their pricing is reasonable and their baos (sweet and savory) are just worth it!! I definitely recommend!!
google avatar

Karen P.

Yelp
Have been here a few times and the naps always taste amazing! The staff is always upbeat and friendly. They have a separate special menu that will change from time to time, I must say right now my favorite is the spicy chicken bao, if you love some spice then this is definitely you're go to! The place is a local Spot but they have other locations too. Weekends get busy but there's plenty of seating. If you love bao buns come check this place out. Btw there's parking right next to the building it's around the corner from the tea shop, also street parking. Enjoy!
google avatar

Brittany N.

Yelp
Pros: Excellent location, right in the heart of Milles 50 surrounded by great boba tea shops and Asian markets. Along with their awesome menu of bao, there are additional specials to choose from that make the decisions even harder! Bao are the perfect food to eat flight-style. A couple of bites of each variety mean you get to try to many more things! Good tot. I can't describe why, but tots are the perfect side dish for bao. Cons: Doing the bao math for figuring out if combos are a better deal than order three expensive bao was difficult. Lol. I didn't have stomach room for any more and had to settle for sharing only eight. =( Those are the only cons. Tips: The menu item with "white fish" in it doesn't sound too appetizing, but it was surprisingly one of the best bao we got! Don't shy away from the WTF.

Yelp
*** Update on my original review. We came here a few months ago for dinner and found a small live roach in my partners food. I asked for the manager and showed him the bug after I killed it on a napkin and he made us new food which we did eat (I know ,idk why we did that guess we were starving) and he comped our meals to rectify the situation. I truly felt he did his best which we appreciated but what's important is that this establishment is in fact not very clean and has been like this for a few years now. That soda machine has mold in it (I hope they've swapped it out since last time we've been) It needs to be cleaned out. We haven't been here since and it was our favorite spot. I would hate for this to happen to someone else whether you are a regular or new to checking this place out. This is a warning to those that continue to eat at this establishment. I don't think it's safe or sanitary and they should close for a day or two for thorough cleaning. Hire a cleaning company if you have to. I Hope they take this review seriously.

Yelp
Their food is always yummy! Today I was starving so I came here for a quick bit! The cashier was super friendly and nice! The place is clean and not too crowded I ordered three boa with a drink combo ( hogzilla, chicken catsu curry, hoisin bbq rib)! They are all delicious and yummy! Never disappointed here! One thing is there is not a lot of parking right outside the restaurant, so I normally parked across the street at a parking lot and crossed the road to get to them! So just be careful of parking, do not park at the back of the store there!

Angel L.

Yelp
10/10 so good, found on tiktok. Recommend if you're in Orlando they are bite sized but filling. Service was helpful!

Yelp
I don't dine in but I order door dash often and never have any complaints. The food is always on point, they are quick, and the packaging allows the food to travel well ! Thanks king bao

Yelp
I haven't been here in ages, and I recently returned with a friend. The service was friendly. I ordered the kickin' chicken bao, what the fish bao, and a Korean beef bao. We also shared the truffle tots. The tots had a subtle, savory taste of truffle. The chicken bao had a spicy-Mayo like sauce with sliced cucumbers. It wasn't very spicy, a little plain. Still tasty, but maybe could use a little more seasoning. The What the fish bao was good too. A thin slice of fish that was fried so it mostly just felt like you were eating the cruchy batter as opposed to having any flaky fish inside the crust. Nevertheless, it still tasted good. Overall, I enjoyed my meal. I may try some different options next time I'm there. Maybe I didn't pick the best ones at this visit.
google avatar

Jessica O.

Yelp
Amazing food! This spot was recommended to me by a local while on a work trip and I'm so glad I decided to try it! The ambiance is casual with solid menu options and amazing service at a comfortable price point. We tried the veganville bao, the glen Rhee bao and the pork tatchos. Everything was to die for! Highly recommended.

Yelp
This place is a MUST TRY if you are a fan of Asian street food. I LOVE bao buns -- whenever I get them at a restaurant it's just your traditional pork bao buns. Albeit they are delicious, I've always wanted to try a variety. Cue: KING BAO. Firstly, this place is hard to find, especially due to the street parking and parking is a headache. When I parked and walked up, I expected a bigger spot but this hidden gem is worth the hassle. Basically, you walk in and there's a plethora of different types of buns for you to pick from. Vegetarian, seafood, BBQ, Peruvian, chicken, vegan-- you name it, the option is up there. For all sorts of palettes alike you will find an option that you love. For bigger eaters, I suggest getting the 2 or 3 bao bun combo. I ordered the 2 and that was perfect for me. Also I ordered the hot tots. Everything I ate was delicious not to mention fresh. The flavors popped and I ate everything so fast I forgot to take pictures! The hot tots were spicy and delicious, if you are in the mood for a kick try them out. The glaring miss about this place is the lack of proper ventilation. Since they are frying in here and their ventilation is lacking I couldn't keep my eyes open because my eyes were BURNING and tearing up. I was extremely uncomfortable and I'm sure this is a violation of some sort. Another patron in my party experienced the same. This is really unacceptable for an establishment as popular as this. If you do come check them out, please be wary that your eyes might burn, and if you have sensitive eyes, please order to go and eat elsewhere. Unless this situation is fixed, that's what I'll be doing. Otherwise, the food is delicious and would recommend checking them out if you're a fan of bao buns.

Yelp
The food is very over priced for what you get. The restaurant itself is pretty rundown and raggedy looking. Honestly some of the menu items were a miss for me. I will not be going back.
google avatar

Ron S.

Yelp
Had the Fish Bao buns. Super flavorful and fried fish was cooked perfectly. I like the self order monitors as it made it easy to customize and pay.
google avatar

Amie S.

Yelp
King bao is such a good quick place to eat and has SO many bao choices. I'm a big fan of the Korean bbq bao and any pork belly one, but there's a wide variety of options to suit any taste. They were pretty quick with serving the bao and the atmosphere is a chill, casual sit down restaurant. I would definitely come here to try more of the bao's!

Yelp

Yelp
KIMCHI TATOR TOTS. The bao's were all yummy but the kimchi tator tots stole the show. I called ahead and picked up my order.

Yelp
A hidden gem! The bao was delicious, mine & my boyfriend's personal favorite was the firecracker shrimp, it was full of flavor and the bao buns were very soft! The Hogzilla and Glenn Rhee were also incredible. The tots were interesting. We got Porky's Tatchos, we gave them a 5/10. There isn't anything too crazy about them but they were still pretty good. The dessert was amazing for me, but my boyfriend didn't really enjoy it as much because the ice cream on top of the fried bao was a bit unsettling for him. I still enjoyed it though. It was definitely a satisfying meal. It's a hole in the wall which doesn't bother me but it can be difficult to find parking. & the drawings on the wall are very interesting. There isn't that much seating. There isn't much to say about the service because you are able to just order on an iPad if you're paying with card and then go and pick up yourself. We used cash though & were able to ask the man at the counter for suggestions and he was very helpful! We will be going back to try more of the bao!!

Yelp
We visited King Bao around 5:30 on a Saturday. They were pretty busy, but it looked like we just beat the rush. All of the ordering was on a tablet which was be very convenient. They also had a ton of specials which were all in the tablet too which was great, because we didn't even know they were there! My friend and I both got the 2 bao combo with drink. We took a 2-top and waited for our food. My friend got the Hogzilla and the Glen Rhee. They came out pretty fast. He said they were both great, but the pork belly was done just perfectly and was excellent. I ordered the BBQ rib and the fried oyster with sauce on the side. It took about 15 minutes between his order coming out and mine because they filled multiple online orders in between even though I ordered just before he did, and when mine came out the sauce was on top of the oyster bao. I told them that I'd ordered it on the side but I didn't feel like waiting so I just ate it. Both baos were really good, the serving of fried oyster was very generous. The tartar sauce on top wasn't my favorite (because I don't like tartar sauce) but the oysters were cooked perfectly. I LOVED the rib bao. I did dock one star for the service, but I'll definitely be going back for more of those amazing baos!

Yelp
We ordered the pork tots, and 4 baos: hot chicken, kimchi chicken, pork belly, and soft shell crab. My favorites were definitely the pork belly and soft shell crab!! Pork belly was cooked and seasoned well so it melted in your mouth and the crab had the perfect crunch with a creamy sauce on top. Even tho I typically don't like mayo based sauce it complimented the seafood taste well. As for the chicken ones I probably wouldn't order them again. I think the hot chicken would be more delicious if it had typical hot chicken seasoning instead of the gochujang based sauce which didn't have much of a gochujang flavor anyways. Also the kimchi chicken had no trace of kimchi which would've elevated it so much! Instead I think the kimchi got incorporated into the aioli on top which wasn't my favorite. The pork topping the tots was also tender and flavorful. We loved them! Overall pretty good experience for a light meal!
