Very good drip coffee! Nice atmosphere. Staff is very friendly. It's nice to have a high quality coffee shop in this location.

I drove by this place and saw the building and how pretty it was and saw they served coffee, so I turned around and went in. I was so impressed with this place. It was very clean and nice inside. The people are so nice and inviting. They took the time to explain to me about the coffee and how it is grown here , how it originated, how some of the restaurants use the coffee they grow. It was veryvery nice. I will definitely go back. They do have a rewards punch card for people like me who enjoy rewards.lol ..Oh the serve cold brew as well.

I had my hopes up for a nice coffee first thing in the morning. Ordered a regular coffee. They don’t have drip coffee apparently, this wasn’t explained and I was given an americano instead. I took it because I don’t dislike americano’s but it wasn’t even explained that they don’t have drip coffee as an option. The americano was mediocre at best. AND they didn’t accept cash… two stars because it seems like a nice place for more popular custom drinks…

They are the best ever Nice customer service, very respectful, so helpful, they smile and make you feel good.

I stopped in yesterday and ended up talking with a sweet barista and another nice customer and I ended up having the best mocha I’ve ever had in my life. It was absolutely delicious and exactly what I needed after back to back days at clinical. Will definitely be back!

Wanted to thank and compliment B at the front desk!! She is a perfect example of Southern Hospitality. I was treated with warmth and respect while I badgered her with coffee bean questions. ❤️

Stopped in and had a great anaerobic pour over. My brother-in-law has been recommending King Bean as a competitively priced alternative to some of the other local roasters in Charleston. I also purchased a 2 lbs bag of the Capers Blend to try. I'd love to see them offer a 2 lbs bag of the anaerobic Ethiopia Gedeb around $30. I would buy that once or twice a month.

The nitro cold brew is delicious They have both a dark and light roast variety. The light is fruitier and the dark is more of a Columbian chocolate flavor. I loved the dark nitro. It had a great head and smooth finish. This is a roaster that happens to serve when customers come by. Ring the bell to get in. They aren't a true cafe of anything. More of a quick stop. Know what to expect and you'll love what they have. Loved the nitro! Did I mention that? Great service from Megan as well.

When I first saw King Bean, I thought it was just their warehouse but there's a cute coffee bar inside open during the week! Love the rotating seasonal menu! They're always doing fun lattes & tea lattes to try out. They have cold brew on tap and a grind to pour machine for the freshest drip coffee. Service is always fantastic. Pro tip: Get a coffee card. After 6 coffees you get one free! Also they are card only!

Kettle corn latte was amazing! Must stop place if you're in North Chuck. Staff was great too!

Right now, they don't have seating so I wouldn't plan on going there to do work. But everything else is great! The customer service was amazing. I feel like coffee shops have not had whipped cream lately, which is my favorite part, and the woman behind the counter made me fresh whipped cream for my Matcha. My dad and I used to make whipped cream together, so it was nostalgic and tasted delicious. They're just starting to serve Matcha so I was a little bit of a guinea pig, but it was great! I would definitely be back. The price wasn't bad either

Wow. I was this close to ordering my usual cortado, the standard litmus test for any new coffee shop, but the barista described their house made pumpkin spice latte as "the inside of a pumpkin pie." She was being modest, if anything. One sip in and I was instantly transported into the plot of a bad Hallmark movie set in coastal Maine, where I was a strong, independent woman from the city who didn't need a man but fell for one with flannel and a heart full of small town charm. Over the top description aside, the coffee slapped and the barista was incredibly kind to my four year old son. Five stars, no notes.

This the only place I buy coffee from! All of their beans are roasted locally in North Charleston, so not only are you shopping from a small business you're also getting high quality coffee. My favorite blend has been the Southern Pecan, which has a sweet nutty flavor. However, they also have seasonal flavors that have always checked all of my boxes for a great cup of coffee. They also have a great coffee shop for when you're on the go!

Pasting through the area and looked up coffee and it had 5 star reviews. Just off the highway so an easy off easy on to continue our travels. Ordered the cortado and it tasted great. They roast their own beans there and sell for purchase. They are a cashless establishment

Tried their coffee at Rain and Barrel in Beaufort, SC. One of the most impressive cups of coffee ever. I traveled Europe while I was in the service and nothing I had in Italy or France could come close. The variety was called "20 Strong". Get some. I'm having them ship to my house, as they have a good retail biz. Highly recommended merchant, for sure. The bagels at Rain and Barrel are amazing. They will get their own review.

Mmmmm that's the review!!!! Just mmmm lol this Caramel Latte was so good! I'm new to King Bean and I'm instantly a fan! Such great service and a sipping good cup of coffee!!!! Check them out! They have a coffee shop at the end of their roasting facility. First, great coffee, their pricing spot on, but even better is the gal behind the counter. Keep this lovely human, she is the reason I keep coming back, super nice, knowledgeable and just kind. Great job Kings Coffee!

This is the best coffee I have ever had. Stop by the cafe and get a cup of coffee and a bag for your home. Make sure to take a photo of the mural! It's so cool!

Oh hey, apparently we DO have a coffee shop on lower D road after all, and this whole time I didn't know! I went recently with my friend Maddie, because the Biscuit Shed food truck was there last week (fyi they plan on coming once per week to King Bean either on Wednesdays or Thursdays). So when you walk up to the door, ring the doorbell, and the lady behind the counter will come and let you in. They have cold brew (nitro or regular) on tap, and you can get it flavored, and they have multiple milk options, including a couple of non dairy options. They will even fill you up a growler. They also have regular coffee that you can order too! And of course bags, whole bean or ground that you can buy to take home. They have some fun merch, including free stickers, and some nice items to make a gift basket if that's your thing. Oh AND they have 6 packs of cold brew you can purchase to take home! You can order online and they'll have your bag ready for pick up or you can buy in store. They've recently painted a beautiful mural on their building, so you can't miss it driving down D road. They said they've got several food trucks lined up so I'm looking forward to going back for those, and also just to stop in for some cold brew.

Stopped in as I was driving by today for a quick cup of Joe. The murals on the outside of the building give it a nice inviting feel. It's obvious from the outside that it's a warehouse that does more than just serve a simple cup of Joe. It's a whole roasting facility Because they are a whole roasting facility they have available different blends, different roasts in different grinds. I simply went after a drip blend that I thoroughly enjoyed. It tasted amazing! Some of the best I've had. A great size for a great price and a super friendly staff. Next time I'm in North Charleston, I'll definitely be stopping in again.

We vacationed in SC and my coffee connoisseur husband absolutely loved this coffee. We live in Colorado and he has it shipped on a consistent basis. We bought the mistletoe java for Christmas and enjoyed it immensely. It paired well will all the holiday treats. I'm not usually fond of cinnamon in coffee, but loved this one. Capers blend is our daily brew; it's fabulous.

coolest spot this is the cold brew plug of Charleston! They even sell them in cans to take home with you and will let you sample them all. It is kind of odd cause you have to ring the doorbell to come in but they are super welcoming and it's just a smaller operation also all of their wholesale works out of the back.

Very friendly staff and delicious coffee! You can expect either a fresh, hot brew or a cold brew but not much variety other than that. Great coffee nonetheless!

The service here is terrific. The staff are so welcoming and even gave us local recommendations when we mentioned it was our first time in Charleston. I'm a cold brew drinker and their cold brew was smooth and tasty

I am a big fan of King Bean Coffee. Whenever I was in a new restaurant in Charleston SC and enjoyed the coffee I was told it was King Bean Coffee. Now with travel restriction in Charlotte NC I order online from the comfort of my home and enjoy this wonderful coffee everyday.
