It’s about my fifth time here. I have not had a bad dish and I always get something different. So I think while pricey food is great! However service is inconsistent, it all depends who you will get. Today service was extraordinary by Eduardo. And atmosphere is great nice decor, and you can have conversations despite the background music. Most of the time I’ve visited is at lunch time

Google
Let me get right to the point about the sneaky sneaky that was done to us. We were told repeatedly by our server that drinks would be half price and he kept pushing the drink menu on us. So we ordered some drinks…. Only to find out they weren’t half price and that only applied two beers and margaritas. However, all four of us at the table distinctly remember being told “drinks are half price” as he continued to push the drink menu on us. The chicken fajitas were excellent. Everything else was not really memorable. Then it came time to pay the bill even though we weren’t getting the drinks for half price like we were made to believe. For some reason, we ended up paying each other‘s bill. Then they said they couldn’t reverse the charges until Monday. Not really interested in going back.

Jose was a great server during my daughter’s B-Day Party: he refilled drinks, kept our table clean, was very attentive with our questions and requests. The food and drinks were very tasty and the restaurants and servers were very professional in their attitudes and attire!!! They are also great singers and entertainers; love the Decor !!! 🎉

Google
One of the best Mexican restaurants in the area for sure. We often come to this place where they do serve a delicious food and nice drinks with an excellent service! Highly recommended! The environment is pretty nice either for families and dates.

Google
If this place offered Hookah this could very well be the new Inwood Bar & Grill from NYC to Ohio because the ambience, music, food, deliciously strong drinks & overall quality of service provided by Luz & Adrian was awesome they were a vibe the place is a vibe we love it here! 1st visit a few weeks ago as our anniversary dinner & we loved it! We ordered more food than we were able to finish but it was hard to make a selection with such strong amazing food + drink selection.

Google
My daughter and I really enjoyed our "late" lunch here. Everything was perfect: beautiful atmosphere, kind and attentive staff, the vegatarian tacos and the fench fries were delicious, as well as the drinks.

Google
This is my new favorite restaurant in West Chester. The food was incredible and the portions were huge! Adrian was such a fun server and gave great recommendations and Eduardo made some fantastic drinks and checked in often. Overall, outstanding experience all around and could not recommend it more! Check this place out!

Yelp
We've been meaning to try this place for ages, and finally had the opportunity last night. They were doing a brisk business, but we only had to wait a few minutes for a table. Despite the fact that most tables were full and there were a number of large parties, it wasn't too loud to carry on a comfortable conversation. The paintings on the walls were colorful and interesting, the lighting was cheerful without being too bright, and I liked the way the ceiling was decorated. Our server was incredibly attentive and passed by our table often keeping an eye on us. He left a bottle of water on our table so we could refill ourselves, but every time he passed by he topped off our glasses so they were rarely less than half full. He gave us time to peruse the menu, and took our order as soon as we were ready. My husband ordered the burrito and I tried the chicken verde enchiladas. It took quite awhile for our food to come out - the place was full of large parties who had arrived shortly before us so I suspect they were more backed up than normal. My husband's burrito came with sides of guacamole and garlic aioli, he shared the guac and it was delicious. My enchiladas were also delicious- tender shredded chicken and a delicious verde sauce with a peanut sauce and pickled onions, I would definitely order the same again except there were too many other items on the menu I'd also like to try. We will definitely have to get back here again.

Yelp
This is 1 out of 5-6 Latin restaurants within a 3 mile radius. To cut to the chase, I have had Argentinian food before along with great Mexican food from Texas. I ordered the King Burrito. I assumed it was the boss' favorite. I think the boss like very salty food, corn starch sauces with paprika and highly processed cubed chicken. Covering the highly salty entree with something sweet like pineapple added nothing but a sweetness that only concentrated the saltiness. The shrimp on top was simply a way to jack up the price to an otherwise bland salty frozen oversized grocery store burrito. The beer was flat even after they changed it out and I asked what the manager thought of the beer. He agreed it was flat without me even saying anything except "What do you think about the beer?" I ordered a large beer and would have gotten more but all the servers were at a booth in the bar and so a slow night means no service. I ate half my $20 sodium burrito and asked for a check. I recommend El Trompo because all the other Latin restaurants in the area are overpriced and honestly not good. As my grandfather used to say the prices charged is like lipstick on a pig. A 1 star rating means I would prefer to eat dirt. Yes it may seem harsh but I would not eat here even if someone paid for the meal (ie. A 2 star level).

Yelp
Festive and lively ambiance with nice decor. Drinks were fun with added the added light features. Fajitas are definitely shareable but only came with 3 wraps. Fries and plantain sides are really good and big portions. We also ordered the dip flight and espresso martinis but we enjoyed them a little too much and forgot to take pictures. The corn dip was our favorite in the flight. Quac was a little on the salty side.

Yelp
Loved the interior! Beautifully decorated and not cliche. Our waiter Efrain was friendly and efficient and just so on the ball! The food is not the standard faire. You can find some old favorites but they are truly elevated on top of the variety that is unexpected. I had the Tacos de Carne Asada and they were so good and flavorful! Unfortunately the 'special salsa' that came on it, Guajillo sauce, was too hat for my palate. My housemate will love them. I ended up with customized taquitos and those were very good. Very pricy, very good and I will eat there again knowing I have to pay attention to the whole description and ask for all sauces on the side!

Yelp
We have been here before, and happy to repeat our experience. Food, service and ambience fantastic! Everything on the menu is good.

Yelp
Me and my boo came here before we went to the movies and we were not disappointed . The aesthetics, the servers, the music, the everything . We loved it. It is a bit pricey but the food and drinks were well worth it. I ordered a blueberry margarita and my boo ordered a cucumber margarita. When you sit down they serve chicharrones as like a free appetizer. We ordered a dip flight for a real appetizer which came with queso, corn dip and guacamole. The corn dip was surprisingly good and so was the guac with the extra veggies. For an actual entree I got Ropa Vieja, which was slow cooked shredded beef, guajillo sauce, coconut rice, black beans and plantains. It was so good tasted liked roast beef with rice and beans . He ordered fish tacos that was made with fried tilapia, he said it was his first time ordering fish tacos and he was super satisfied. I took a bite which I thought was good too ‍. We spent about $80 but it was well worth it 10/10 definitely will be back

Yelp
Almost a year later, and it was even better than the first! Great service, food, and drinks again.

Yelp
Was in town with a large group (20+ people) and we all went to King Corona for dinner and had a blast. The service was great, the Instagram-worthy luchador decor was great and the food was excellent. My group tried out a lot of things on the menu, but I personally started with a King Corona Old Fashioned which was smoked to perfection and served with flair. As a group, we tried the Empanadas (Ground Beef Argentina and Short Rib Columbiana) and they were perfect snack size and incredibly tasty. For my entree, I had the Quesa Birria Tacos and they were heaven. Great place to check out, awesome with large groups, and quick, friendly service.

Yelp
This was the most creative and delicious Latin meal I have ever had. From the drinks to the presentation everything was spot on. The music is lively and fun, and the servers know exactly what they are doing. Overall we loved it. We had so many different dishes that we shared family style and were full by the end. Also, we liked that it was open late since we got into Cincinnati late to visit a family member. For dessert we shared some key lime pie and flan.

Yelp
Love the concept of a Mexican sushi restaurant. The actual execution fell a little flat. We were seated to a not so busy restaurant, but it felt like the service took awhile. The food itself was ok, but the guacamole and birria needed more flavor. The dip trio was the best thing we ordered, with the corn dip being spicy but delicious. Despite getting 3 dips, we were given one small dish of tortilla chips for 2 people and when we asked for more, we were charged $2. The server did tell us about the cost, so no surprises, but it felt like the order should have naturally included more chips. The decor is really festive and I imagine it would be a fun place for a group dinner. There was a tequila cart in the corner, so I would definitely give that a try if I ever returned.

Yelp
With a fun casual vibe king corona is a modern twist on Latin cuisine. With dishes varying from the sea to the land you can bring the whole family and no one will go hungry! I always look for big portions and good quality ingredients if I'm paying a bit more than usual. This is a bit pricier but with great service and good food it definitely is worth stopping in! Pictured is their pork belly appetizer, with bites already taken, the king corona sushi roll, and their fish tacos.

Yelp
My family went to this restaurant for Father's Day, it was such a wonderful experience! The staff was so friendly! They were patient and provided recommendations since there are soooo many good options on the menu. Most of us ended up eating family style and sharing our meals so we could try more foods. The drinks were also delicious. They colorful and tasty while not being overwhelmingly sweet. The atmosphere was vibrant. The decor was fun. We went early in the day but I would love to go back at night to enjoy a more lively atmosphere. Although the food and drinks were good, the service was undoubtedly the best part of our experience. It was truly 10/10! Follow @themunchmavens on instagram for more food recommendations

Yelp
I came here to meet a few friends, I was a little surprised how loud the music was on the patio even at 5pm. Don't worry if a birthday is being celebrated be prepared for the music to get even louder. I mean loud enough that makes most dance club jealous. I ordered an old fashioned that tasted very good, it did take around 10 minutes to show up. I then ordered some sushi odd for a Mexican style place, but figured why not. I also ordered dessert at the same time. 15 minutes or so later the food came out. Keep in mind there is 6 of us at the table and 2 others that left before I got there. I ate my food which was good. Then I looked around for our waitress which by the way spoke very little English, which I firured out later when she came back and I asked where my dessert was which she said I never ordered. Then another waitress had to help her find what I asked for. Another 10 or so minutes. During which I noticed several wait staff handing out around the bar making me think this may be why food and service was slow, customers were nit the priority. About this time a birthday was celebrated and the music was so loud it hurt my ears and at least one other person on the patio got up to see what was going on and he was clearly not happy with the volume either. After my dessert finally came we had to wait another 20 minutes to even ask for the bill. Which when it came out had a larger party fee of 20% which for 8 people I could understand, even though there was never 8 people at the table. Of course I would also be good with it if service had been worth it. I have eaten all over the world and even in France and Italy where a meal can last several hours at least my drink cup would never be empty and I wouldn't have to reorder things. I really doubt I will be back. The 2 stars is because the food wasn't bad.

Yelp
We had an excellent dinner at King Corona. We started with the roasted cauliflower appetizer- which was full of flavor balanced with some dried cranberries. We shared the Texanas fajitas- such tender flank steak, chicken and shrimp. The margaritas were very tasty. The succotash was spicy but well balanced. Great place to visit!!

Yelp
Our first time here and it was a cool experience. It is really pricey so be warned tough. The food is good, some were kind of bland but overall cool experience.

Yelp
Brunch was amazing! The mimosas are fantastic and the food is incredible! The decoration inside is fantastic and the staff is great. The eggs Benedict is 10/10!

Yelp
The food here is top notch. The mood was festive and delightful. The service was great except there was a bit of a language barrier but we got through it just fine. I highly recommend this restaurant.
google avatar

Linda B.

Yelp
Excellent restaurant with great menu and service! The brunch menu is a wonderful deal. Not to be missed!

David S.

Yelp
The atmosphere, service, and especially the food were all awesome. Best fajitas in town. Fresh cooked to order to your preferences. Can't wait to return.
google avatar

Dave D.

Yelp
For the price, totally worth it. High food quality with entrees fresh made. A great step up from local cantinas. Margaritas were good. Very pleasant staff. Coming back to try the seafood next time. They beat the standard baseline by a lot!

Yelp
Ambiance is great , they did not skimp on the decor. This sits next to AMC in Westchester. It's possible that it's a neighborhood gem but I never been and glad i stopped by. The drinks will have you coming back for more. The service was nice , I sat at the bar for a short trip but I'll be back. They have happy hour , live music ( some nights ) and a djs. Who doesn't like a party when you're eating great food. I'll be returning because the menu was too big to try solo( octopus , sushi, steak, you name it ) and going only one time. I almost don't want to tell people because it was perfect. I maybe the last to know, but this place will be in rotation.

Yelp
In town from NYC for the holidays -- visited Dec 23, 2024 around 5pm. atmosphere and ambiance is really nice!! it's a great location for any occasion. cool feature: there's a mouthwash station in the mens room. lol Appetizer: Camerones Bang-Bang (essentially the same dish at Bonefish Grill: everyone has copied this dish) Their version is slammin!! perfectly cooked and the sauce was great! comes with a small side of pickled onion (not on shrimp, but on side) 10/10. Entrees: Tostada DeSalmon w/ side of yuca frita. Really delicious and I was surprised at the quantity of salmon on the tostada and size of yuca frita. I want to say the price points for portion size here is really good. Fish(Tilapia) & Shrimp Diablo (Note: this dish is really spicy) I am use to spice, but it was really spicy for me lol. I will say even though it was more spice than I was expecting I could still taste the food and it was flavorful and cooked well. The cucumbers and avocado helped with the spice. I will definitely be back. It's cool to see cincinnati stepping up their food game. This would definitely be comparable to a good restaurant in nyc. Two suggestions: --- Make it standard to have sparkling water in the water carafes just as you do the still water, offer either upon coming to the table. --- Add the traditional green sauce to your menu as a side; {Aji Verde is a Peruvian green hot sauce. It's made up of fresh cilantro, aji amarillo, huacatay and cheese that makes it creamy and spicy} many latin american restaurants in NY have their own version of it, it's delicious and it goes well with many of your dishes and yuca frita as a dip.

Yelp
The decor is beautiful! Our server, Leo, was extremely attentive and knowlegable. Very classic, attractive, clean server uniforms. The margaritas are the best I've ever had!! Margs for Happy Hour!! The food was excellent!! Gorgeous plate presentation! And what a unique birthday surprise for my friend! (You need to experience that yourself!) We are already planning another visit with more friends. We had such a good time!
google avatar

Yelp
This is our second visit, we stumbled upon this place accidentally when we walked out of Chuys due to lack of service. The decor is exquisite! Very suave, fun atmosphere with a boho kiss. We ordered the flautas to start and WOW I would order these again for my meal - they were out of this world! Crispy, stuffed and fresh AF. The sauces were equally as fresh, verde and chipotle mayo for the win. We also ordered the pork belly tacos - these almost stole the show they were SO GOOD! Soft blue corn tortillas are a unique and tasty twist. We also tried the birria tacos (first visit and they were delicious) and coconut rice. Now the not so good...they don't serve chips & salsa, they bring out some weird fried tasteless puff and it is not a proper substitute for chips. Also, for the price of each meal the customer should get rice & beans on the side but that's an extra $10+ if you want that experience. Fabulous food, killer atmosphere....perfect for date night / special occasions.

Yelp
Best food in the area. Everything was delicious and the drinks were great as well. Very cool atmosphere and will definitely be coming back

Yelp
Fancy Latin Dining with a bar like vibe to it. Haven't eaten a lot of Latin food but I will say I their food definitely didn't disappoint. I actually didn't even finish my food so if u got a bottomless stomach like me, I highly recommend this place. Waiter is was cool super chill and they brung our food out pretty fast. To start off we grabbed the Flight Dip. I can't remember all the dips but I know they had this spicy corn queso that was phenomenal in my opinion. For my main course I had to try they fish tacos. I was a little hesitant because I never had tilapia tacos before but I actually prefer them over the classic cod fish. My lady ended up getting the Ropa Shredded Beef and rice. They gave her a nice big serving, which she couldn't finish so you know I had to help her out a little. Overall, if you like Latin food or want to give it a shot, this definitely the spot I recommend. You won't be disappointed I plan on going back soon

brad w.

Yelp
Best fajita ever! And I mean ever! I'm 65 and lived in AZ, and numerous other places! Probably have Mexican food weekly. They had a marinated skirt steak cut into huge strips & they were amazing. I'm glad I spit it with my wife! A lot of food and even both of us could not finish it. We had a group of 10 and the servers and assistant manager made it fun and were on top of the service chart! The ambiance was very nice and clean. If you are in the area, You must go to this place! They even had some kind of flashing colored LED light in our drinks!

Artur H.

Yelp
I've been there 3 times and every time had a good experience. Amazing food, great service. The place is nicely decorated and clean (unlike most restaurants in the US). Comfy chairs. The prices are very reasonable for what you get: I ordered birria and ended up splitting it into 3 meals! Margaritas are strong and flavorful and not just ice and water like they often are.
google avatar

Maria S.

Yelp
So much fun and such an experience! The menu is much more unique than most and the restaurant itself is so beautiful. We had so much fun celebrating a birthday there and the service was excellent! I can't wait to come back for dancing at night.
google avatar

Reese F.

Yelp
I recently came here for dinner with my family and had a good experience. The waiters were very friendly, and checked in on us couple times during our meal. The restaurant itself had a lovely aesthetic. The food was pretty good as well, nothing to complain about. Additionally, the prices were reasonable. Great experience, would go again

Yelp
There is a lot to love in this new restaurant. The decor is clean and hip, with good mood lighting, but it also has a small intimate feel to it. The staff has been amazingly friendly and helpful with almost an anxiousness to please -- the second time I picked up take-out from here, the waitress walked out with me to open the door for me!! And I've had some amazing dishes there. I found the Arepas de Queso y Chorizo to be nothing short of amazing -- fresh, spicy and flavorful. The Chicken Tortilla Soup was so thick and bursting with flavor I used the leftovers as a sauce over pasta. And the Key Lime Pie was the perfect balance of sweet and sour all the way to the last bite. I have since had a few dishes that were just okay -- for example, the pork belly bites were too tough, as was the meat on some of the taco dishes. But with a few selective choices, I still give this restaurant a 5 -- for the huge portions, some amazing dishes, and the stellar hospitality.

Besan D.

Yelp
Absolutely wonderful place great food and atmosphere! Decor was beautiful and great mocktails! Definitely would recommend to everyone and anyone!
google avatar

Lina R.

Yelp
Went back again. Food has been consistently great. Had a different server and everything was amazing
google avatar

Julie C.

Yelp
Immediately sat and it took 10 or so minutes for someone to greet and pour water. After another 10 or so a representative came to take a drink order. We ordered skinny margaritas and the bang bang shrimp (not pictured). Shrimp was decent, what you would expect. Margarita was tasty but small for the cost. Second margarita was slightly more it seemed. Tacos was good but nothing overwhelming delicious drawing me to come back. Atmosphere was enjoyable, Lively and colorful.

Yelp
Súper servicio y la comida es muy rica !! muchas gracias por todo!! best Latin restaurant ever! super nice environment & music!
google avatar

Sara D.

Yelp
We got offered the bottomless mimosas only to later be told that they only did it on the weekends and charged us normal for all!!!!!!! They should tell the servers to explain it since our server offered it but no the manager was so rude about it and it made me not want to come back after telling all my friends about it !!!!! Would not recommend bc they're rude and not friendly at all mainly about the services we got offered.

Jared F.

Yelp
Not sure how this place doesn't get more love. Some of the best fajitas I've ever had. Reasonably priced, scratch made fixings, and not your typical sliver slices of meat. Good people, service and good food. Not every day you get the value for your $$.
google avatar

Jade D.

Yelp
This place is GREAT! Easy accessibility & plenty of parking. Fun vibe & atmosphere inside, and delicious food and drink. Our server was super attentive, and the volume in the room was just right for conversation and fun. I think they may even have live music sometimes. Nice patio too!

Cynthia C.

Yelp
The establishment has a modern cultural aesthetic which I found very pleasant. We had the recommended cauliflower appetizer that is the most exciting way that I have eaten cauliflower! Seriously. I had the tacos birrias and my husband had the chilaquiles. Both were plentiful portions and I didn't miss sides like rice and beans. I even took home leftovers. I especially loved the avacado green salsa that was a great accompaniment with the pickled onions for the tacos. The only critique is the lag time in food to table and getting the check but I overlooked it because of the quality of table service that was outstanding. A surprising eclectic menu that delivered on taste and presentation. We will be back!
google avatar

Breanna W.

Yelp
so tasty and the atmosphere was amazing!!! It was my friends birthday and they played music and it made him happy

Cathi K.

Yelp
I got a burrito and came with seasoned fries. It was delicious! It was not spicy which is great for me. My husband had the steak fajita and really liked it. The service great! The restaurant decor was interesting. We will most likely go back.

Sid V.

Yelp
We made a reservation at King Corona on Op e Table. When we arrived, the restaurant was closed. How can a restaurant accept reservations for a time and day when they know they are closed????
google avatar

John M.

Yelp
Went here for lunch today. What a great place. Really neat decor. Super great manager names Caesar. Fun menu. This place is brand new and will be one of my favorites. I'm honored to be the first to review this restaurant. I had the guacamole and they brought us chicarrones. I had the pork belly Boa Bun. Awesome. Only complaint the music was too loud for conversation. Go here. Be a trend setter

Yelp
Stopped in on a Monday evening around 5:45...there was only one other table filled and it was outside...a tad concerning! However, am guessing that folks havent come in to try this place because it's terrific! I got the grilled burrito with the santa fe on the side. It was very different and very good! I cant tolerate spicy food so found it a tad spicy but not too much so. Partner had the Burito Chipotle and loved it! Servings are very large so we both boxed and will enjoy our meals another day. The restaurant is spotless, and it's obvious they paid attention to the details...in both the food and facility. Friendly staff. Overall, a great experience! FYI Our meals plus 1 diet coke bill was $44. Pricey, but worth it!

M K.

Yelp
The place is fun, bright decor, very comfortable dining chairs. Margaritas are exactly like Peppers in Arcadia CA, where I learned to love them 45 years ago. Delicious, and not too sweet. I had ceviche, my bride had tamales. Both were very good. The only reason I did not give it five stars is our server was nice and professional, but pretty inattentive. Much too long between table visits. We asked for a few minutes to look at the multi-page menu and did not see him for 20 minutes after. Our drinks had been long gone before he came back and asked if we wanted another. It took a long time to finally get the check. Overall, small complaints and we will be back again.

Alejandro B.

Yelp
Very fun environment with good music Drinks were tasty and packed a good kick Food was delicious (it's hard to find good latin food of such variety here in Cinci) Service was quick and very polite

E W.

Yelp
Horrible! My friends and I will not be back! It started with 20 to 30 minutes before our waiter came to our table for a drink order. Another 20 minutes for us to get our drinks and then he spilled two out of the three of the drinks on me on my lap on the table. Another 10 minutes to get those refill drinks. We barely saw the waiter again. Finally got our food. My "steak" didn't have a "grain" to it so I almost thought it was cow tongue. It was so bad. I didn't eat it. They did not offer to take the drinks off my bill, but instead said because they had replaced them, they won't take them off. We asked for a manager & a manager never showed. Then the waiter stood around and watched all of us sign our checks to see what kind of tips he was going to get. In all we were there for three hours and had horrible service, horrible food and no true apology for having to sit through dinner with frozen margarita all over my lap. Avoid at all cost!

Tad B.

Yelp
Birria Tacos were great ! Elotes Locos got absolutely demolished...it was extremely tasty.

Yelp
The food was "ok"... the atmosphere was good, nice music and the place was clean and well decorated. No problems with the staff... until we were all enjoying our drinks, ordered food and just enjoying ourselves, my sis picked up her glass of water and took a drink and swallowed glass!! Apparently the glass broke as she was drinking and before she knew it she had swallowed a piece of glass and caught the other piece that broke off!! The manager was horrible!! Like she tried to eat some of the food she ordered but couldn't so she asked for to go containers... the manager never checked up to see if she was ok... he did say to bring the hospital bill & they would pay it and walked away!! When it came time to leave he refused to comp her meal saying that she's going to eat it!! That's not the point man She swallowed glass at YOUR establishment and you had no sympathy at all just worried about a $40 bill and wanted to argue about it!! We will never patronize this place again!! The food was just ok but not worth going back. Now a trip to the hospital to find out if broken glass at YOUR establishment has caused any damage
