Google
Gem of a dumpling spot. Tucked away in an unassuming shopping center is King Dumpling. Tiny spot, big flavor. Probably only has 10 tables. Service was prompt and kind. Dumplings were delicious, especially the Pork Soup Bun (I would have referred to as soup dumpling). The larger than life soup dumplings had a tender yet chewy wrapper filled with flavorful rich broth and delicious pork. Bangers! Spicy chicken wontons with chili oil and sesame were great. Fried pork dumplings, beautiful. 🥟 They also have a great little sake selection. I can’t wait to try it again!

Google
It is rare to find a good Chinese restaurant in the area. King Dumpling has a limited variety of hand made dumplings which is a rarity in Colorado. But the dumplings we ate were very good. Price might feel a bit high but good portion volume and hand made. So, I feel it is worth it. Next time we'd like to try the other plates.

Ditto to all the other 5 star reviews. This place is awesome. very good pork soup dumplings.Very good beef noodle soup. Reasonable prices, great service- 5hank you Ryan.Glad I found this place and you will be too...

Google
It's hard to find a good dumpling spot in this area of town because of the demographic location. Everything is hand made. Most places just warm up H-Mart frozen dumplings and serve them to you. This place is legit! You can definitely tell when you take the first bite. Hand made noodles, hand made dumplings and buns. A rarity in this part of town.

Google
Amazing place! We have been several time and have never had a bad experience. Everything we have tried has been great. I do recommend getting the handmade noodles on any noodle dish you get because they are so delicious! Their desert dumplings are great too! Not too sweet.

Google
Best soup dumpling I've had in my entire life. I like dimsum and have been to many restaurants that serve dumplings. But this one is the best of them all! Their beef soup has a lovely deep flavor as well. I am recommending this spot to all my friends.

Google
Very happy with our authentic, handmade dumplings! The pan fried chicken dumplings and pork buns (not pictured) were top notch. Green veggie dumplings were good too but needed a bit more salt. Everything would've been better if they had true soy sauce or chili crisp at the table, but it seems their palate is light here. Scallion pancakes were light and crispy, highly recommend. Truffle dumplings were an interesting novelty and not too strong in flavor, but it wasn't my favorite. Simple interior, nice people. Would come back to show friends and try more dishes!

Google
Wow! What a place! If you’re looking for dumpling, definitely go here! Service was phenomenal, food was delicious. I drove 45 minutes to get there and it was worth every second.

Yelp
After reading all the positive reviews about this place we decided to give it a go. Had soup dumplings, wonton soup and steamed dumplings. We honestly thought it was just Meh. The dumpling skins were too thick, the filling was not seasoned well, soup broth underdeveloped in the soup and the overall experience was disappointing. This may be the best of the dumplings in the immediate vicinity but we won't be back. We have spent a lifetime eating dumplings all over the world and in NYC, SF and LA and this isn't something that we would want to try again.

Yelp
If you're hunting for a little dumpling joy with a side of giggles, King Dumpling might just be your snackable soulmate. Here's my bite-sized verdict, with a dash of whimsy. The staff are very welcoming, and when you ask them for recommendations, they're very helpful. Pork Dumpling Flavor: Very flava Texture: Nice and satisfying Quick verdict: A solid, comforting dumpling that earns a nod from the flavor gods. Fry Squid Tentacles Breading: Nice and country (like a warm hug from a country kitchen) Squid: Delicious, slightly chewy in the best way Quick verdict: Chewy, crispy, and totally cheeky in the best possible way. Combination Dumpling Composition: Two chicken, two vegetable, two pork (six dumplings in total) Favorite: Vegetable dumpling steals the show Flavor punch: The vegetable are packed with flavor Least favorite: Chicken, a touch tame next to the others Quick verdict: A fun sampler that mostly sings, with one meh note. Truffle Dumpling Taste: Unique, an acquired taste in the best way Meat quality: Juicy and flavorful Quick verdict: A fancy, playful twist that markets itself as "try-me" on the menu. Egg Custard Buns Description: Little buns with big personality Filling: Egg custard dreams come true Verdict: So delicious you'll consider moving in with a custard bun shelf. I'd come back for these again and again and again. Overall vibe King Dumpling serves up a delightful mix of comfort food with a wink. If you like texture plays, bold flavors, and a touch of nostalgia (plus a dash of "aww, that's cute"), this place will put a smile on your face--and maybe even on your dumpling. Quick rating (optional) Flavor wow factor: 4.2/5 Texture and crunch: 4.0/5 Overall fun: 4.5/5 Would return for custard buns: absolutely yes

Yelp
Okay, you've gotta try the veggie dumplings from King Dumpling. Forget those tiny little bites; these things are massive. Each one is packed with a ton of filling--we're talking fungus, celery, cabbage, carrots, scallions, and glass noodles. It's a seriously good meal on its own. They hook you up with a dipping sauce and a red hot sauce on the side, and yeah, they're 100% plant-based. P.S. Their hand-pulled noodles and rice noodles are also amazing

Yelp
King Dumpling hands down is one of my top dumpling shops in Colorado. The flavor of each item we ordered was amazing and the ambiance of being in a small dumpling shop watching the chefs roll and prep the dumplings was fun. I was awestruck with the soup dumplings, we had both the chicken and the truffle dumplings. Each had their own unique flavor, however, the chicken dumpling was my favorite because it had this almost creamy flavor to the broth that was both smooth and tasty. Finally, the staff were super nice and gave great recommendations. I cannot wait to come back and get some more dumplings and food from King Dumplings, and highly recommend this shop-- it's worth the visit.

Yelp
Five HUGE shining stars for this amazing Chinese restaurant. We came on a whim for lunch while at an appointment in superior and I was honestly blown away. Everything was soooo tasty, and you can tell it's made in house, not frozen. The homemade noodles were tasty. Spicy wontons were great/ that sauce! Don't sleep on this star, Denver!

Yelp
Food - 3 Service - 4 Value - 2 I ate here recently and it was a bit of a let down for me. I ordered the cucumber salad, fried dumplings and then a noodle dish. All 3 were just average to me and the price was a bit high given the quantity/quality. I think I was expecting something more authentic, but this was Americanized quite a bit.

Yelp
I tried King Dumpling for the first time and I enjoyed the meal. I tried a mixed bag of the dumplings and all were tasty. I was hungry so ordered some soup dumplings, mixed fried dumplings and a few steamed pork bao buns. The soup dumplings were my favorite but the buns were also very yummy and hit the spot. I did not have enough room to try a noodle dish but that is on my list for the next time I visit. If you in the mood for dumplings King Dumpling will certainly hit the spot!

Yelp
I'm kinda bummed about this review. The food was really bland overall. I got the cucumber salad which tasted so weird. I only took two bites before pushing it away. The dan dan noodle soup is so bland and missing the traditional dan dan noodle vibe. The pork soup dumplings with the sauce were really good though which is why I'm giving them 3 stars. Otherwise, probably a 1.5 star. The name is King Dumpling though so I should've just stuck to their namesake. I ended up eating leftover cold thai food for dinner over this. Pretty disappointing for $44.

Yelp
Small hidden gem with excellent dumplings of all types shapes and fillings. Their noodles though are on another level and match many of the best homemade noodles at bigger better known Chinese restaurants. The staff is great and it's easy to get whatever you need. Highly recommend the soup wontons which are a bigger meatier xiao long bao If you're craving dumplings in the area you're in for a treat

Yelp
Will say can't say much about costumer service or the inside of the place. The inside of the place well has to be based on pics or visiting the actual restaurant. I did place an order through DoorDash so this is based solely on food. Shrimp and pork spicy wonton 8/10 will say the sauce was amazing just threw me off that they were green based in the pics that were shown on DoorDash. Didn't give them a 10 since I have had better but not too shabby tbh. Pork fried dumpling 7/10 will say with this one I didn't expect the corn inside. Nothing too special about it but not a huge fan of corn but not bad. Beef noodle soup 6/10 the beef and noodle were okay. Kinda wish the broth had more flavor tho. Pork steamed buns 7/10 were definitely steamed buns and were pretty savory as well Overall food was okay. Also don't know if my standards are too high as well but will say it was an okay place for me. Not too shabby but even looking at the prices on the menu and not DoorDash seemed a bit pricey for me. Idk if I'm being biased in the pricing since I do live in Cali and it seems to be cheaper over there lolz.

Yelp
New Dumpling Spot in Louisville @king dumpling. Everything we ordered from start to finish tasted fresh, authentic, crunchy and soft in all the right ways. I'm usually picky as far for this type of cuisine but no lie I recommend everything we ordered: Crispy Salted Chicken, edamame, Pork Pan Fried Buns, Pork Soup Dumplings, and washed it all down with Strawberry and Mango Boba Teas (both were solid but the strawberry was the standout)! The place is sandwiched in the corner of a shopping center with chill vibes inside. The girl serving us, Yuki (hope I'm spelling that right), made us feel right at home had a very bubbly and comforting personality. We will definitely back

Yelp
So glad we bumped into this little gem a block away from the pickleball courts. It really hit the Asian food spot! Interior is clean, service was wonderful, and the food made from scratch! We really enjoyed trying the soup dumplings and combination pan fried. Servings are pretty big! Noodles were really tasty and fresh. Now I know where to get my dumpling fix!

Yelp
A new neighborhood joint. Love their pre-mix dumpling sauce (perfect mix of sweet, vinegar, salt). Their dumplings are made fresh in house. Noodles are also handmade and very chewy (in a good way). Beef noodle soup and Xiao Long Pao are our favorite. My kids love their stir fry noodles. Our favorite lunch spot for something quick, reasonable and healthy.

Yelp
Go have yourself a royal feast. I did! There is all kinds of dumplings, boa buns, soups, fried rice and more that would make anyone feel like a King! Over the holiday weekend, my family and I decided to try this spot. My brother loves bao buns, my mother loves fried rice, my husband loves dumplings and I just love food. We ordered: Vegetable Fried Rice Steamed Pork Bao Buns Fried Pork Dumplings Pork Soup Dumplings Fried Chicken Dumplings Spicy Pork Wontons ... then ordered: Steamed Pork Bao Buns Fried Pork Dumplings What can I say? We were hungry and clearly love pork! Jokes aside, everything was regal with flavor, texture and spice. We each had our favorites! I'd say if I was just popping in myself (without extra mouths to feed), I'd order the Spicy Pork Wontons and Steamed Pork Bao Buns. The Spicy Pork Wontons had extra sauce drizzled on them that I then dipped the Steamed Pork Bao Buns in. It's the MOOOOOVE! Trust me. Going back? Absolutely, I need to try some of their noodle and soup dishes! They look majestically delicious. ;D

Yelp
This was nice. This will not be a go to place for me. The atmosphere is not conducive for me to make this a go to place and occasionally I also want a cocktail or something, which you cannot get here. Not a real comfortable setting. They make their own sauces, noodles, etc. nice fresh touch. Had the Dan Dan soup which had ground pork and a delicate broth. The steamed pork dumpling are outstanding. The Taro boba tea is as delightful.

Yelp
So many dumpling places popping up everywhere in Denver but I haven't felt super blown away.... Except for King. The pricing here initially "seems" expensive for half a dozen dumplings but it's the traditional northern Chinese style, stuffed to the brim. One filling of King's is probably 3-4x the dumplings fillings elsewhere. The wrappers have a nice chew texture and def legit. Reminds me of how my grandmother made it. Every culture has friend chicken, but popcorn chicken is originally from Taiwan... this was missing the OG sprinkle flavor... but still super tender and has their own twist to it. Dan Dan noodle is different than others I've had, this is more sesame/peanut-y flavor. Great noodle and great broth! All in all I'll def be back, owners are super friendly and attentive. The restaurant is open and clean. Their dumpling is on point and come give them a try.

Yelp
Quick and fast dumpling place Clean and friendly service We got the shrimp and chives dumpling and the pork soup dumpling Will be back to try other things
google avatar

Eric W.

Yelp
Either these are fake reviews or people in this town have never had good dumplings / noodles Dumpling / wonton skin was insanely thick and there was little to no filling The " beef noodle soup " was the most pathetic version of that dish I've ever seen. Tasted like canned chicken stock and hat had horrible beef and disgusting overcooked noodles . Pompous server was a dick head
google avatar

Troy N.

Yelp
Maybe it was an off day but the dishes we got were all pretty bland. The dan dan noodle soup broth was nearly flavorless, while the noodles and bits were fine (hard to enjoy when the core of the soup - the broth - was such a let-down. The pork soup dumplings were decent but a little on the fatty side. The shrimp dumplings were under-seasoned and we couldn't taste the shrimp. All you could taste was whatever greens were stuffed in there, and the kind of weird inclusion of scrambled eggs. Lastly we had a serving of the crispy fried chicken. This was just ok, also under-seasoned, and seemed over-fried. Overall disappointed with our food, too bad.

Yelp
The food was awesome and the staff was very friendly. The portions were really generous and we are looking forward to going back

Yelp
Went here on 8/10/24. First time here. Only the second time ever eating dumplings. (First time was in San Francisco). The staff was great here. Very attentive with refills and what we needed. The taste was bland though. Everything felt very greasy. We tried dumplings and buns. Need to try again, but it was a bad day.
google avatar

Brian J.

Yelp
Really disappointing Togo experience. We had been several times dine in that have been good. Today the wonton soup was off and the wontons were extremely doughy. The beef noodles were also very doughy. Nothing was edible. Ended up tossing out 50 dollars of food.

Yelp
We had a truly wonderful lunch here. Even by LA standards, Dumpling King is fantastic. Their soup dumplings are enormous! The service is very sweet. I encourage you to go!!!
google avatar

Yelp
Found this place by accident and I'm so glad I did! Really good dumplings and noodles! The service was excellent and the prices were very affordable.
google avatar

Yelp
Horrific experience. The room seemed nice, and to be fair the hostess was very nice. The table was set, and when I looked at the plate, it had dried food on it. While I was waiting for my food, one of the workers came out into the (small) room and watched something on her phone with the volume set very high. Same woman then went back to the prep area and was coughing without a mask or even a hand covering her mouth while she made herself more food. Same place they made my food... Couldn't finish my food - the place was disgusting. I'll never go near this place again.

Yelp
I love me some dumplings and bao buns. This is the first time I have ever eaten HOMEMADE buns. The buns are so soft and the meat so juicy and full of flavor. King Dumpling will definitely go on my Favs!
google avatar

Holly C.

Yelp
Delicious dumplings! The shrimp ones were surprisingly unique with lots of veggies inside. Our server was really nice and enthusiastic. The chili wontons were to die for. Definitely get those. They had delicious boba drinks too. It was no frills inside but very roomy. I'm looking forward to getting more dumplings here and trying more of their food.
google avatar

James P.

Yelp
My friends and I were sat down and were instantly served. There weren't that much people, but we went on a Monday evening. The food came out quickly and tasted great. The dumplings are bigger than average which is most likely the niche they're going for. I also enjoyed the restaurants' choice of interior design. My only reason for making it a four star is because of the table condiments weren't what I prefer. I prefer chili oil, vinegar, and soy sauce, but they had different options.
google avatar

Nick V.

Yelp
We are visiting from California and we chose to eat here. The food was nice once we finally got it. The service was lacking, a lot. We were there for a long 2 hours because they forgot to put are order in. There were two waiters literally running all over the restaurant. The environment looked calm but really wasn't it was crowded with tables right next to each other. We had to ask for water and the waiters never checked in on us. The food was great though the custard buns were the best. FYI one of the waiters wasn't the best smelling.
google avatar

Yelp
Found this place on the way to CU Boulder (go Buffs!!). Food is pretty good especially the dumplings. The chicken chow mein actually tastes home cooked. The fried chicken was dry. But overall I like it - probably relatively hard to find an authentic Chinese dumpling around this area. Service was attentive and place is clean and modern looking.

Julie O.

Yelp
Been wanting to try this spot. WOW. Food was amazing - everything we ordered, shrimp and veggie dumplings, pork bao buns, scallion pancake, noodle dishes, were exceptional. For the noodle dishes, you can select handmade noodles, and that is recommended. It is in a stripmall, and so kind of expected a stripmall vibe seating area. But, pleasantly surprised to find a very clean modern vibe, but without the annoying high decibel noise level of so many restaurants. I will be back, and bringing friends!
google avatar

Wendy H.

Yelp
What's not to love about scratch made dumplings. This is an absolute treasure! Do yourself a favor and go here! Authentic and amazingly tasty. We had so many different kinds and they all were wonderful.

Sarah J.

Yelp
This is a favorite spot for us! The soup dumplings are an absolute must, fried rice and steamed or fried dumplings are really delicious as well. Service is always awesome and very friendly (shout out to Dalton!) and ambiance is really nice. We'll be back soon, thank you guys!
google avatar

Mike R.

Yelp
Clearly hand-made food and a decently run family business which did a nice job remodeling an unusual space in a strip mall. But reviewing on just the food -- was it tasty, will I go back again? Nope. Bland flavors, some things a little undercooked, others nearly burnt, the meat was very scrappy, prices were a touch high, etc.
google avatar

Michelle P.

Yelp
You lose some, you dim sum. Don't miss out on the best dumplings in all of Colorado!!

Yelp
Absolutely off the hook good eats... Passing through the area a ran across this gem of a spot. Food was unreal good!! Great flavors/ hot. Everything you want ina dumpling and more. Will definitely be back

Judy S.

Yelp
Food was good . server did a good job explaining food items . turnoff was the lady rolling & filling dumplings kept coughing into the lg container of ingredients . she should've had a mask on.
google avatar

Eric J.

Yelp
Dumplings are freakin' outstanding! No words can describe how good the pork soup dumplings are. Don't be deceived by the strip mall location. Totally worth it!
google avatar

Yelp
I've had a great time catching up with my girl friend here, and it's turned into our go to spot - we come here at least once or twice a month. The soup dumplings are HUGE. Customer service is beyond excellent - it's a small dining space so can get loud during peak hours. When the weather is nice there is some outdoor dining available, as well.

Lilfishchannel ..

Yelp
Hand made to order best dumplings I've ever had. Would recommend. Service was amazing
google avatar

Ariyana W.

Yelp
We came here after an appointment and we were blown away at the quality of the food and service!! These dumplings are the real deal, handmade fresh and brought to you steaming warm. The staff is so amazing and kind, and it's a clean and welcoming environment. You can tell they are proud of their space and cooking and it shows. The best were the chocolate dumplings and fried rice; best I've ever had. Stop in when you can!!
google avatar

Pam V.

Yelp
They lost our order we waited over an hour for our food and they didn't offer to compensate us. They told us they'd "refund us and we can try them a different day." I replied we didn't even pay yet! And we are hungry we just want our food! So we waited another 30 minutes, definitely probably 90 min total. We were from out of town but I think they could have done a better job fixing their mistake.
google avatar

Julie S.

Yelp
The soup dumplings weren't very soupy, but still delicious. The pan fried shrimp dumplings were the best I've ever had!
google avatar

Alice A.

Yelp
Jumbo, juicy, delicious dumplings and buns are sure to fix your dumpling craving! A nice variety of steamed and pan fried. Homemade noodles are also deliciously chewy. The crispy chicken had a tasty mala spice and came with spicy mayo. Everything came out hot and fast! The space is bright and the server friendly. You make selections on a dry erase picture menu. There's a lady making dumplings in real time; they're never frozen. The portions are generous and we way over ordered, but just had to try everything! Very excited to have them in the hood!

Kim S.

Yelp
What a surprise! We live in a city with some truly delicious Chinese food, but we all agreed that if King Dumpling were near us, we would never stray. For lunch, we tried 3 kinds of steamed dumplings, scallion pancakes, cucumber salad, salted crispy chicken, Dan Dan noodle soup with handmade noodles -- all perfect. Amazing was their housemade sriracha/garlic chili sauce -- ridiculously good. The service was top notch and the owner came out to check on us (sat outside on a lovely day). One word: Go!
google avatar

Dania E.

Yelp
We had an awesome lunch at the new King Dumpling today! It's their second day open. Great for dine in or takeout! Lots of dumplings, noodles and soups. Cute place, clean, really nice staff, too. Get in there!

Soo L.

Yelp
Went here when they opened, it was ok. My coworker wanted to try this place so I went again, huge mistake. The dan dan noodle had a very off putting smell of old pork, the shrimp fried dumplings I remembered being the best dish they had was bland and had a tiny single shrimp in it, the kind you'd use for bait when fishing. My buddy ordered the soup dumplings that had no soup in them. When we mentioned it to the waitress, she just laughed and said sometimes they're not careful when they put them in, so they lose the soup. Well now you lose some customers, and likely many more. $35 for a lunch that was one of the worst I've had in years. Save your money and go elsewhere....
google avatar

Ash H.

Yelp
Absolutely delightful. We placed an order for pickup and were very pleased with the quality of the food. The woman who checked us out was super sweet and told us how the dumpling are made fresh daily! We ordered the steamed shrimp dumplings, fried pork dumplings, pork steamed buns, and cucumber salad. I'm used to sweet pork in steamed buns but there were more savory and aromatic, not my favorite but still tasty. My favorite item was the steamed shrimp while my boyfriend loved the fried pork. We're planning on getting a different mix next time we go because everything was very tasty we can't wait to try more!
google avatar

Michele L.

Yelp
Wonderful food and service! So happy to have them in the neighborhood. Our favorite dish was the pork and shrimp wonton but you can't go wrong with really anything on the menu!
