I came because the last time I was in STL, I remember GOOD food and good service. Apparently the dude was not having a good day.
He was very short when I asked questions about combos. I completed my order - which was for 3 people. When food was ready, I asked about condiments, and abruptly heard “they’re in the bag,” as it was pushed in my direction. So I asked about specific condiments (had to make sure that the three people I was ordering for had what they needed), and I asked for 2 ranch dressings. I was told $1 a piece. I questioned this because my order was over $50. Then I was told emphatically: “let me tell you what you got for $50 - I gave you FOOD and condiments, and…” I said: “Stop, I got $2, and pulled out a $20 and laid it next to my bag…” he said: “You’re gonna have to put it in my hand…”
I can’t even imagine what this attitude was all about this evening! Because I don’t typically allow MEAN people to serve me FOOD, I didn’t want my order at this point…
As this exchange happened I noticed that everyone in eye view of the front counter had lit cigarettes in the kitchen… I won’t ever be back… EVER!
And FYI - I was home for a funeral…
