iconic statue of King Kamehameha — an absolute must for Hawaii Five-0 fans! Really worth the stop and the photo. The statue was unveiled in 1883. Every June 11, during Kamehameha Day, it’s beautifully adorned with flower leis. Behind is Aliʻiōlani Hale, Hawaii Supreme Court, and across the street is ʻIolani Palace, the former royal residence. It was easy access. And a parking was available. It wasn’t very tourist we were alone.

Lovely artistic work of art depicting Honolulu’s King Kamehameha. Gold and black standing proudly is the king across the street from the great palace and Hawaii’s United States Customs and Courthouse. Located in the heart of the business downtown district. It’s a must stop to see the statue and surrounding landscape of native Hawaiian trees and palms.

🔟 / 🔟 Hello, we were here. I have to say from the start that I first saw this place on "Hawaii Five-0" and then I knew I had to visit the place. I really liked this place and not just as a film backdrop for one of my favorite series. I don't regret the visit. Feel free to come here, it looks really nice. We'd love to come back. See you next time. ✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻

Saving the best till last, I visited the King Kamehameha Statue on the last day of my Hawaiian adventure. After completing the Honolulu Marathon, I felt like I needed to pay respects and thank the people of Hawaii for a wonderful experience. I will try to be back one of these days - Mahalo!
