The FOOD IS AMAZING! Tasteful, morish and decadent! Absolutely will go again and again the food honestly is so NEXT LEVEL! Heard so many good reviews AND happy I finally got to try the experience for myself .. Thanks made my night 😢👌👌👍

Once again absolutely loved our whole experience at King Of Snake. The food never disappoints. Great atmosphere also and the staff were on point. If you are after Asian fusion food you can't look past this place.

Distinct muse has been put into the design of the 3 restaurant areas. The service was excellent. Elevating the standards for the Christchurch dining experience. Food was great, with clear distinct flavours. Favourite dish was the Thai wakanui beef salad. It was cook d and presented to perfection. Maître d did an excellent job ensuring we were happy with our experience. The quality of their rice can be improved. It is important to have high quality jasmine rice with fragrance to compliment the meal. However the dining experience was top notch. Well done King of Snake team.

Lovely lunch here on the Monday of Waitangi weekend. Pros: - the tuna salad - so fresh and delicious - the truffle fries with the miso mayo - the salmon spinach leaf - the atmosphere- unfortunately we didn’t book so didn’t end up near the windows but the space was bright and comfortable. - the crayfish mini brioche- pricey and very much a treat but they were super yummy Cons - the prawn dumplings were a bit disappointing - service was a bit slow. It seems like more servers appeared after 1pm which was good. My second wine took ages to come and I had to ask about it. Staff were friendly though. We will definitely go back, next time for dinner.

KOS has left the best impressions! The service we received was so amazing. Staff made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience. Thank you Echlin for your wonderful customer service. Can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat in.

We had a very early seating (5pm!!) at KOS in their first week of opening at their new location on the terrace. It was pretty good! They were still working through some teething issues but overall our experience was really good! The staff looked after us well, and the food was delicious. Kinda felt like our booking didn't need to be so early, but in the end it didn't really matter. We asked to sit on the balcony and were allowed, so yay! What a great spot to watch the world go by. The balcony stretches all the way down to the neighboring bar which name eludes me. Anyway, this review is for King of Snake. And we really enjoyed our time there. I personally wished they still served the pork hocks. Just saying.

What a great place for authentic and indeed well prepared Asien fusion food. We have been told there is a thai crew in the kitchen - and compliments they do authentic thai cuisine as you would get in upmarket Bangkok restaurants. Great flavors, nice and spicy, crisp and well seasoned. Really great food - and look at the cool location …. If you are lucky you can sit outside on the balcony overlooking the bridge of remembrance. So worth while to stop by

Prawn dumpling in supreme broth and beef cheeks were such a delight. Quite frankly did not expect there’d be poached eggs on the beef cheeks but surprisingly suits. Smoked salmon was a wee bit dull, could have been better. Awesome staff.
