Denver’s Best Sports Bars | Eater Denver

"Four TVs may not sound like a lot, but relative to the small square footage of this Wheat Ridge tap house (with a sibling in Golden), it’s plenty for catching the big game while chowing down on some of the best pub grub in town — slow-cooked wings, hand-breaded tenders, Cajun-Parmesan onion rings, and all. Craft suds exclusively from local breweries seal the deal." - Ruth Tobias

Well rounded spot for wings, sauces emphasize flavor over heat. XXX Hot is balanced and not indigestion inducing. Thai BBQ uses fresh ginger. Wings are par cooked and then flame grilled. No breading on traditional wings. Tenders are large and saucy. Cauliflower is a great starter. Also had parmesan garlic fries, salty and lots of umami. Servers take care of the whole floor, anyone will check in to make sure you are having water and a good experience with no high pressure sales tactics. Great patio to watch a sunset. Bathrooms clean and large. Great spot.

Google
We've been enjoying King of Wings since their food truck days and it's so great to see that they have continued to grow and still offer consistently tasty wings and tenders. They have some of the best flavor sauces ( I really love their bourbon buffalo sauce but they're all great) and a good selection of rotating draft beers. The staff is always friendly and we've always had good service.

Nicole Brenner

Google
The elite wings of denver. Honey mustard flats will be in my dreams. Thai BBQ on the tenders was a sleeper hit. Onion rings were a cherry on top. Cold Diet Coke in a can? Put a fork in me.

Google
4.5/5. Subjectively not my favorite style, but a fantastic, classic wing option. Sauces are pretty traditional, but not my personal cup of tea with nothing really standing out to my palette personally.. Wings are of good value and cooked great. The chicken tenders were also awesome. Fries were a bit salty but cooked well. Great beer selection. If I was local, I’d probably come quite often!

Google
I can’t stop recommending this spot. King of Wings has quickly become my favorite spot for wings and fries. Everything is done right and the service cannot be forgotten about. We were greeted quickly and every person coming by was friendly and helpful. We were seated on the patio which has comfortable chairs and oversized picnic tables. The patio is also covered with heaters on the ceiling which was perfect for the snowy night we visited. The wings are grilled which may not be some people’s favorite but they are juicy, tender and so fresh I was blown away. Each sauce is different and tasty, with their spicer options really packing a nice kick. My favorite is the Tangy Gold. Either way you will be happy with your selection. The Cajun Parm Fries are seriously the crispiest and tastiest fries I’ve had in years and I think I’ll order them on their own for lunch next time I’m in the area. Check this spot out, you’ll be glad you did.

Google
I was really looking forward to eating this place for the first time. Especially after seeing their reviews. But boy was i disappointed. Food seemed cold when i got it, they’re advertised as “smoked wings” but if im being honest those were probably some of the most overpriced and mediocre wings i’ve ever had. They tasted like the premade bagged ones you get at the grocery store. Not gonna say they were horrible but the flavors and wings themselves were just not it. The best part of the dish was the ranch, they probably have some of the best ranch i’ve tasted. Other then that i would personally recommend plenty of other spots that are cheaper and way more appetizing. Another big thing was while ordering online you pick certain flavors and on the receipt it came up as something else so our flavors were wrong too. Overall just had an unpleasant experience with the online service & the food itself. Mind you i payed $45 for 24 wings, no sides.

Google
Houston is literally the best we couldn’t be any more grateful! Bourbon Buffalo/ honey mustard/ tangy gold are the favorites that we order! Beers, wings, tenders, and merch! You don’t really need much more than that! So happy to have found this place! Thanks again crew behind the magic!

Elizabeth Medina

Google
Hands down best wings we’ve ever had. You will not regret eating here. So good, I didn’t even get a picture. Onion rings and Cajun Parmesan fries were super fresh and amazing!

Yelp
Such good wings. Definitely some of the best in Denver. Vibes were great with amazing service. Such a perfect place to grab some beers and wings and enjoy the sunshine on their patio or with their open garage door style dining area. Hot buffalo was probably my favorite but I really don't think you could go wrong with any flavor. Definitely come hungry or with a group to be able to try as much as possible!

Yelp
Ok so we took a tip from a friend and tried this place out. It is a hole in the wall. But I love a good hole in the wall. The name of this place fits. There were four of us so we took the server's recommendation and ordered 24 wings with four sauces. The sauces we chose were spicy bbq. Spicy thai. Garlic spice and golden. All were unique and incredibly flavorful. We also got four strips and one order of Parmesan fries and regular onion rings. All of everything was great. I don't think we left anything but about a dozen fries. Cheat code is to take the crumbs of Parmesan from the fries and put it on your wings. Yes it's that good. What a great place. If I lived here I would be here a lot.

Yelp
I've been going to this place for a while, and I'll admit--the wings are delicious. But you never really know what kind of restaurant you're walking into. One night it's wings, the next it's burgers, then it's pasta. I showed up on a Monday expecting wings, only to find out it had turned into a burger pop-up. The manager/owner was rude when I asked if they still had their cauliflower dish--he snapped, "It's burger night!" We gave in and left without wings. Then last Thursday, I waited in line for 30 minutes. Someone finally came outside to say they were out of meals. I asked if they were out of wings, and he said no--tonight was a pasta pop-up. No one inside had been served yet. People in line clearly expected wings and walked away frustrated. The manager tried to offer ice cream as a consolation. Here's an idea: decide what kind of place you want to be. Wing joint? Burger spot? Pasta bar? At the very least, put up a sign outside so customers know what you're actually serving before they waste their time. Honestly, you might want to consider changing the name if wings aren't your main thing anymore.

Yelp
Wings. Tenders. Beers. What more can a fella ask for? When we moved to this part of town earlier in the year, I was excited to be fairly close to King of Wings. They've cultivated a mass following over the years. The restaurant (feels more like a brewery taproom) is laid back, with half indoor seating/half outdoor patio, and sports bar vibes. I love the simple menu. Do a few things great, not a thousand things subpar. King of Wings makes delicious wings. With a name like theirs, I'm not ready to declare them "best of Denver" just yet, but I've never been disappointed. Sauces hit, wings are cooked well, overall they're consistently good. My 10 piece hot garlic the other day were delish. Wings got expensive during the pandemic and they add up here. 10 wings and a beer runs you around $30 with tip, which let's be real wouldn't it be more ideal if that was $20? Support small local restaurants always! But you have to pay for extra sauces, doesn't come with sides, etc. These guys have it dialed in and do a wonderful job serving community. They get busy, so keep that in mind considering their hours are limited. So many flavors left to try. Keep it up!

Yelp
Would love to actually try the food but they are either closed when I get here (no updates on socials- just a sign on the door), or they won't seat you due to obviously open seats but trouble witb kitchen staff figuring out tickets?! Seems like bad management to me. I've tried to go here 4 times BTW so this is not based on one or two tries. I give up trying in the future, I dont care how good it might be.

Yelp
Initially came here on a Monday night and it appears that Mondays is Layla's Steak Shack night (which they just started 1-2 months ago) from 5-8pm! I was craving for wings then but they only sell wings I was told Wednesday through Sunday. Nonetheless, I still stayed and was welcomed by the server-- it was steak & frites night with sauce. It was amazing! ~$28 for the steak on a bed of fries. I would have wanted more chimichurri sauce though. I also had a glass of the Fenceline Seedling cider. They have a lot of beers - sour, pale ales, porters, IPA, and all the good stuff. Today I came back to try their wings - the spicy Thai slow cooked grilled wings were bomb. Hints of soy sauce and sriracha too it- definitely has a kick but not too spicy! I asked what the bestselling sauces were and was advised Bourbon Buffalo (cross between Mild Buffalo & Memphis BBQ), Tangy Gold (mix of Mild Buffalo and Honey Mustard?) and Spicy Thai were crowd favorites. They also have a rotating sauce. You can have either grilled wings or hand breaded tenders. Will definitely be back or maybe in their other location in Golden. Take note that the Wheat Ridge location is closed on Tuesdays! Plenty of parking btw and also ambiance - kinda like a sports bar but not too loud. They have seating indoors and outside too.

Yelp
Super Cool place... great food, truly are KINGS OF THE WINGS! Great service... ask for pro tips and recommendations Garlic Fries dip wings in crispy garlic ! No bad flavors, check out the cool atmosphere and stay for the food and drinks! A+ wish I didn't live so far away!

Yelp
The tenders, the wings and the thing I crave the most from this place is the Cajun Parmesan fries!!!

Laurie M.

Yelp
Love the chicken tenders and fries! Always a good beer selection.Doggies welcome on the patio outside.

Yelp
These wings were absolutely to die for! I'm sad when I lived in the area that I didn't frequent this establishment more, because I was blown away by the flavor options and how well the wings were prepared. We felt right at home during our visit & loved all of the recommendations we received. In the end we went with the dry rub & tangy gold. I would get both of these flavors again. Easily. I enjoyed trying a wet and dry wing to get the full experience. Also, if you're in the area, try the Parmesan onion rings! You can't go wrong! Enjoy!

Yelp
No doubt the wings are amazing here, it's a favor of the city for a reason. Both the true wings and the tenders/boneless great! Perfectly Crispy and flavorful. The menu is simple, if you're not going for chicken, don't go at all. Only alternatives are the sides like french fries. Which btw--We got a large basket for three people and it was the perfect amount. You really can't go wrong with their flavors. The Thai barbecue, mild buffalo, Memphis BBQ, and tangy gold are my favorite. I actually normally don't like barbecuing wings, but I loved this Memphis barbecue sauce! They also have limited edition special flavors, when we were there it was a blueberry bourbon barbecue flavor I believe. It's the dark ones in my photo! You could actually taste some of the blueberry while it's still being a very savory flavor. Super unique! The only reason why I can't give this place a higher rating is because of the service. It definitely gets busy, but the two times I've been here the staff seemed very agitated or stressed out. They'll be pretty short with you and make you feel like you're annoying them lol. The busyness also has caused forgetfulness in my experience, where you have to ask for water a few times for example. Despite this, I wouldn't say any of the workers are full out rude, they will smile and they will apologize for any waits. They are just clearly busy!

Yelp
Great wings, but pretty bare bones restaurant besides that. Nothing else on the menu but wings and tenders so be prepared for that. You can choose a side like fries or onion rings too. But great spot for wings regardless. Pretty expensive for what you get though.
google avatar

Yelp
I can see why they call it King of Wings because they deserve a crown for how good their wings are! We love that they grill their wings and then toss it in tasty sauce! They have a few flavors to choose from. My only issue is that they don't have a lot of "mild" flavors for my 5 year old. But we usually get her plain and they grill it well enough that it's just as good! The service has always been amazing! The staff are always friendly and attentive! Their tables range from picnic tables to tables and a few high top tables as well. Outdoor seating under the patio enclosure. Clean place and plenty of napkins on the table! If you are looking for some tasty grilled wings, you have to try King of Wings!
google avatar

Sydney F.

Yelp
Really cool local spot. Casual with outdoor and inside seating. TVs that are great for watching sports. Great place for wings. If you order 12 or more you can get more than one flavor. Check it out for chill lunch or dinner.

Yelp
Service was great and the portions were plenty. It's a pretty small restaurant that has a sports bar-esque interior. The cajun parmesan fries are great but I get them saltier because the basic salt level isn't enough to bring out their flavor. The tenders and wings are both cooked perfectly and they have a unique way of cooking the wings that gives them a smoky flavor. The Tangy Gold sauce is a 5/5 when you pair it with Blue Cheese. It's like a buffalo mixed with mustard. I tried the following: memphis bbq, thai bbq, cajun dry rub, tangy gold, and buffalo. I enjoyed all of them but the cajun dry rub was too peppery for me. This will be one of my new favorites.
google avatar

Lisa C.

Yelp
Don't serve me very SALTY food. Steak night on Monday...poppers are way too heavy and too salty. Steak and frites - too salty. Serve a meal that is well balanced on flavor and not just salt. Paid $70 + tip for a very salty meal. Yuck!

Daniel A.

Yelp
The sauces were delicious but the wings were just way too small. I struggle to finish a 10 piece from Wingstop, 14 wings and a side of fries was light work here.

Yelp
We came around 6:10PM on a Friday and it was packed. We only waited for about 25 minutes though for a seat. They had outside seating but we were too cold (it has heaters though). For the wings, you can only do 6 wings minimum per sauce so if you want 2 sauces, you have to do 12 wings. So all the wings are slow cooked/grilled which is suchhh a refreshing take on wings. It wasn't oil fried and wasn't battered and you can really taste the freshness!! Super impressed. (1) Bourbon Buffalo wings. So delicious! On the sweeter side but very balanced. (2) Tangy Gold wings. Sweet honey flavor with some heat. Really good (3) Hot Buffalo wings. I liked it and appreciated that it was actually hot. I like more medium but mild is usually too lame for me. I would probably get mild next time but it honestly wasn't too hot. (4) Cajun Parmesan Onion Rings. Wow! First off all, the onion rings were beautiful. Not too breaded, thinner, perfectly cooked. The spices were so fun and such a different take on onion rings. Really delicious. Also, a great portion! (5) Ranch was super delicious and blue cheese seemed handmade with huge chunks of blue cheese! Service was such a community. Everyone was helping each other (I think it's tip pooled). The cooks bring the food to the people, which is a different take but it really created a sense of community that is uncommon in restaurants these days. Everyone for themselves, usually. But I could tell everyone actually wanted to be here and was having fun! There's six 4-person tables, two high top 8-person tables, and about 10 seats at the bar. Will come back! Congrats on your success!

Yelp
I'm sadly disappointed by this epic-sounding and highly-rated wing spot. My friend and I stood in the blazing sun for 20-30 minutes waiting to get seated while watching everyone squeeze their cars into the small parking lot. Lots of anticipation was built by the long line. Customer service is fantastic, I will say, which is the best part of KOW. Everyone is super cool. On this trip, we got wings (which are grilled) and fries to share. Honestly I didn't like any of the wing flavors we tried, from XXXHOT and BBQ to the weekly specials of Pesto and Parmesan. The fries were average, too. Not sure where we went wrong with ordering, but I'm open to suggestions because these wings were 0% cravable. What a bummer.

Yelp
First time coming in after following on IG and so happy we did! Fun atmosphere especially having the garage doors open and music playing. Interacted with a handful of the bartenders and staff- everyone was personable, friendly and really made us feel like we had been coming there for years. The food!! Really enjoyed the smoked grilled wings and I loved the tenders! The wings had a nice smoke flavor that did not over power the meat. Had the mild buffalo sauce on those and it was delicious. The chicken tenders were some of the most crunchy that were served with sauce on them I've ever had. They were pretty good size and coasted nicely in sauce. I should have gotten some the Carolina Mustard sauce for home use, it's got nice tang without the mustard being overpowering. Got both the ranch and blue cheese. Both were great but the blue cheese for me was on point. It was perfectly chunky and creamy. Fries were crispy with a nice Cajun spice. Wheat Ridge has a gem here, can't wait to return!

Yelp
Ordered online for pick up and it showed a one hour wait. We went in and figured we would just wait. When they found out we were there for pick up, they told us there was a big catering job ahead of us but they would let the cooks know we were there. We waited about 15 minutes and they stopped to check on us at least 3 times. We got 4 flavors and Cajun garlic fries to go and it was so delicious. I got the Bourbon Buffalo sauce for the fries and wished I had gotten some on the wings. All 5 flavors we had were great. Hard to pick a favorite!
google avatar

Eilen S.

Yelp
10s all around for this spot. The service is awesome.. the music and vibes are right...everyone we spoke to in here felt like an old friend. There's usually a line but it moves very quickly so don't be scared of a little wait. Totally worth it also since all of the food is banging. We've been here twice now, once to get wings and the other for the snipe burger pop up and we always want to go right backs King of wings: we waited a little (about 10 min) but totally work it. I'm picky with wings and don't like "problematic" pieces of chicken that are suspicious and too wet hahaha but every single wing I had was perfectly cooked. Crispy with amazing sauce and well cooked on the inside. We did not get beer but the server actually brought us a little sample of one which was so nice of him and completely made us feel welcomed and taken care of. The owner (idk if it's the owner but the main guy in their instagram) swung by to say hello even though it was busy and I felt like I meeting a celebrity hahaha. These guys are the real deal. Absolutely worth the hype. Snipe burger: best burger I've had in Denver thus far. The wing sauce on the burger. The crispy edges of the patty, the bread, the bacon.....absolutely perfect. We didn't have to wait for the burger pop up. Seating was plenty and the playlist felt like I was right at home. I need to come back for a round two!
google avatar

Yelp
We went to the Golden location for lunch. But there was no butter cake!! So we drove here to get some. They thought that was so funny, that they threw in an extra piece! Love their food, and did I mention that the cake is TDF?

Regina L.

Yelp
Brought family from out of town for our favorite wings. The service sucked. The dude had an attitude. We had ordered large orders of Cajun Parmesan fries and fried Cajun cauliflower bites and when we asked if they were the Cajun ones and he insisted they were. Instead of fixing the order, he brought the Cajun spices in a cup and we had to spice our own order that was made incorrectly in the first place. Our favorite regular restaurant is now ruined and now not sure when we'll be back. Our family from Ohio didn't enjoy the experience at all. Oh, and we got rained on and yet nobody checked to see if we were ok.
google avatar

Liz N.

Yelp
Omg food was so good we got several items we tried in our group I love the chicken tenders as well here and the drinks guava bomber beer was amazingly good Service I suggest go early so it's not a long wait and we sat outside which was a nice view and more room at the tables if you have a big group they are picnic tables so it's not bad at all amazing and friendly staff which I was pleased with
google avatar

Ethan G.

Yelp
5 stars because King of Wings Thai BBQ chicken strips are now my go to order whenever I want to get takeout for a sporting event I want to watch. Would love if they brought the Alabama White sauce to this location like they have in Golden. That combo with sides of ranch would be 6 stars.
google avatar

Sheri M.

Yelp
We will for sure come back! Super cute space, we sat on the patio. We went with the Tender route and recommended flavors from our amazing British server...Tangy Gold (our fav), Spicy Thai (close 2nd), Agave Lime Buff was a classic and Habanero Pineapple which we did enjoy and were warned of the spice but just a hint too spicy yet we would still order it again Parm Truffle fries and Onion Rings were yummy and very generous portions overall with fairly prices and great list of local beers.
google avatar

Yelp
Throne yourself up at King Of Wings! You'll have the options of wings or tenders with sides of fries, onion rings and cauli bites. There are 10 different sauces you can bejewel your chicken with: Mild Buffalo, Hot Buffalo, Bourbon Buffalo, Spicy Thai, Thai BBQ, Memphis BBQ, Tangy Gold, Honey Mustard, XXXHot or Dry Rub. We knighted ourselves up with 24 wings dressed in 4 sauces: 6 Bourbon Buffalo, 6 Spicy Thai, 6 Tangy Gold and 6 Dry Rub. They were all princes, however the Spicy Thai was the ultimate ruler of my kingdom and the Dry Rub reigned my husband's palette. My advice, dress your wings or tenders with whatever sauce fits your fancy! Then, be surprised by what one you make your majesty. :D Last thing I'll scribe before I go, the staff makes you feel like royalty and the beer selection is a royal circle of the best local Colorado breweries. Can't wait to go back to this castle of deliciousness!

Yelp
Honestly, best word to describe this place is WOW! Honestly, these are the best wings I've ever had ever! So so so so fantastic! They were juice, grilled to perfection, and the sauce is top tier. You can taste the care that the staff puts into their food. The Parmesan fries were also perfect. Maybe the best fries I've had in quite a while. The service was attentive and great! We got there around 11:30 but by noon, it was packed! The vibe was so casual and easy going. Like a bunch of friends just hanging out. I hate that I tried them because they have now ruined every other wing place for me. This is going to be my go to recommendation for everyone moving forward. Cannot wait to go back!

Yelp
Wow! A new favorite for wings! I heard about this place from friends and was finally in the neighborhood! We had three different flavors. Friends fries and cold beer. Service: we sat at the bar and greeted immediately and given water. We took some time to look at the menu and the entire beer selection. It's huge! They rotate their beers so please enjoy as much as you can responsibly while you're there! The service was great. Fast and simple and they made sure we felt welcomed and tended to. Wings: these wings are not huge or fatty. They have this char to them that adds this bbq grilled flavor and then smothered in you sauce of choice. Every bit was so good. It was great to have smaller type of wings with less fat. You get a firm bite. French fries. The fries are great. It's a great way to take a break from one flavor of wings to another. Beer: wow! A great selection. I had a hazy ipa and fell in love with it. I couldn't believe the quality of beer they had. It made the experience even better. Ambiance: the ceiling had a huge King of Wings sign lit up. So cool! Very clean for being an old building. I'm definitely coming back to try the other sauces!

Yelp
Yoo the snipe burgers are pretty legit. Been meaning to check out for a hot minute and they're pretty good, albeit a little on the pricey. I think I paid like $18 for a triple, which was more than enough. They only serve em on Wednesdays from 4-9pm, to my knowledge. I'd definitely go back tho. 4.2 outta 5
google avatar

Yelp
Wings were delicious they know what their doing! Beer was great as well. I got the wings and tenders. Tenders were so juicy and soft and crispy. The wings had the meat falling off the bone! Definitely worth coming here the vibes are Great and the people are amazing. Also they have a puppers rolling around which brings it to a 8/5 stars in my opinion lol

DeniseCastro

Yelp
The wings here are so amazing!! & their service is also wonderful!! Everyone is super nice and fun to talk to. Honor of our first day of our honeymoon meal was comped. They are so great!

Yelp
Wings and Service were on point. The 20 minute drive from Denver was worth every minute. Blows the competition out of the water.

Yelp
I made a quickie stop on my way to the airport. It was well worth it. Chicken was Ace!!! Got two flavors, the Bourbon Buffalo and the Dry Rub Nashville... got my hat to rep in Indio, CA. We need this!

Yelp
While visiting some friends in Denver, we decided to get our Sunday started at this spot and load up on some #Smashburgesas! This place is relatively small so it's likely you'll find a line, however the guys who work here are very cool and will make it as comfortable as possible while you wait. I would say skip breakfast and get you a triple to really feed the need and you'll be set for most of the day. This spot also had some nice beers too, perfect for washing down the grub. This place is definitely OPEN (as of 11/13) so check it out if you haven't already! **Please be aware of your surroundings and be courteous to others waiting in line! This isn't really a place to run a card game :) Lol thanks for the beer guys!

Yelp
King of Wings is one of my favorite places in the city! It's always such a fun atmosphere with some of the friendliest staff. They have a lot of tvs to watch any sport and they are nice enough to change the channel if you want something in particular on. The place is always packed with people making it a lively place to hangout. As far as drinks, they always have a stellar beer menu which features local breweries and has a nice variety of beer types from IPAs to sours to lagers or stouts. What really keeps me coming back is the awesome food. They have some of the best wings in Denver. They are grilled but still pretty crispy and they have delicious homemade sauce and dips. I particularly love the XXX hot sauce and the blue cheese dip but I don't think you can go wrong with any of the other sauces. I also love their Cajun parm fries. If you haven't tried this place you need to go ASAP!

Yelp
Been waiting to come here ever since they had that tragic fire and we drove 30min from Indian creek. To start, service was amazing where multiple servers offered their suggestions on both beer and their wings. They suggested the vodka sauce was better suited to tenders than wings. We started with an order of onion rings which were perfect - ideal ration of breading to onion and beautifully crispy and crunchy, and also the Rare Trait hazy IPA which was similar to electric jellyfish (for those from Texas) Then we moved on to an order of 20pc wings with Bourbon BBQ, honey gold, and little Arthur's pink vodka sauce. They were...interesting. The wings were a bit small and Was expecting a flame grilled smoke flavor and did not get any of that. The flavor profiles on the wings seemed a bit odd. The vodka sauce was a bit too tomatoey for my taste, and honey gold had a slightly weird taste as if it was Frank's mixed w dijon. The Thai BBQ was my favorite and I also got a side of the XXXhot sauce which had a solid kick and nice tang to it. I'd come back if I was in the area and wanted wings and beer but especially for those onion rings. My gf had been here before the fire and said that the flavor profile has changed a bit. Less char and smaller wings, but still solid to visit for the atmosphere and service. *did a bit more digging and apparently they bake and then grill their wings. Not sure the size of their wings can hold up to a reverse sear as some were overcooked*

Yelp
Probably the best wings ive had in a long long time. Im horrible when it comes to food. Ill judge the sh!t out of your food and service. Why? I have no idea but i do. The wings are great the service is great the atmosphere is great. The road across the restaurant sucks, but thats ok. If you are visiting the Denver area and are craving wings, do your self a favor and go to king of wings. If you dont i wont judge you but dont do that to yourself.
google avatar

Liz S.

Yelp
The wings are the best part and my main reason for visiting. Consistently delicious. I stick with the 'tangy gold'. Also, recommend the onion rings - my friends said some of the best they've had! Ambience and service - it gets crowded (for obvious reason!!). I go when it opens so time wisely. But always worth the wait. Super friendly staff too.

Yelp
So glad to see King of Wings back in business after their kitchen fire. They've been reopened for about a month now. They do get pretty busy and being a smaller ish restaurant, expect a line out the door during busy times. There is a small parking lot as well as street parking available. Unlike many other wing places, their wings crisp and smoky from their grille. The buffalo bourbon has a sweet and tangy flavor. The spicy Thai didn't taste spicy at all, but also has a tangy taste. The dry rub wings came with their Cajun seasoning. The Parmesan fries and onion rings were great starters. I would have to say these are some of the best wings in the Denver area.

Yelp
The Tangy Gold is so good!!!!! I love this place. I'll for sure be going back here all the time. This is one of the best spots in Denver. No question.

Yelp
Love this place! Perfect place to have wings and watch football! I actually think the onion rings and tenders might be even better than the wings. "Don't sleep on the tenders!" Try Thai BBQ... YUM!

Yelp
Usually like a wing heat level of just above hot and below the hottest option. King of wings didn't have this option and found the wings we did get either too spicy or not spicy enough. Prices were too high, not worth the hype.. I will be going elsewhere next time.

Yelp
Do not get wings from here if you are from Buffalo. Not crispy. Hot is a weird grilled flavor and the bleu cheese is sus. Two stars because they smelled great

Yelp
This little spot has some amazing wings! My friend and I went here for the sole purpose of trying the famous Snipe flat burger, which looked phenomenal in the pictures. We were disappointed to learn that they only offer the burgers once a week and not on the day we had shown up. We decided to stay anyway and try the wings. I got the boneless wings and I have to say, they are the best I have ever had! I got the sauce on the side because I prefer dipping my wings instead of having them smothered in sauce. I did the mild buffalo and it was delicious. We also ordered the onion rings. My friend, who is not normally a fan of onion rings, loved them! They were in a light batter and perfectly crisp. We sat at the bar since that was the only place left to sit. The bartender who was also our server was pleasant and helped us with all of the questions we had about the menu since we were new there. Service was attentive and prompt. Seating is very limited and the overall noise level is fairly loud. Parking is also not abundant. When I return, I will probably just get my food to go for these reasons. The food is amazing, but I wish it was in a larger space with more seating options.

Yelp
WOW WOW this place is absolutely amazing. I'm pregnant and a "SAUCE BOSS" had to try all sauces and OMG all of them are just amazing. The wings are just amazing as well. Baby sauce boss and momma sauce boss are EXTREMELY happy. I LOVE THIS PLACE. The staff very welcoming and not a thing wrong with my order which is rare considering how nitpicky I am and very extra. God, I love King of Wings. CUSTOMER and FUTURE CUSTOMER for life!!!

Yelp
2 hour wait,., Hard pass. Mediocre wings at best. These are not pok pok wings. Generational hype. If you're gonna commit insurance fraud, you should have moved to a larger location. Clown show.
