Dining Magnate Tilman Fertitta Has a Steak-Obsessed New Restaurant in the Works - Eater Houston

"Rockets owner and Houston mega-restaurateur Tillman Fertitta has a new restaurant in the works called King Ranch Texas Kitchen, according to CultureMap. As the name implies, the restaurant will serve iconic Texas dishes out of the former Galleria-area Willie G’s location at 1605 Post Oak Boulevard. (The King Ranch, which was founded in 1852, is the largest ranch in the state of Texas.) Chef Carlos Rodriguez of Vic & Anthony’s, will lead the project, which is expected to open before the end of the year." - Brittanie Shey

We had a wonderful dining experience at King Ranch Texas Kitchen! We ordered the prime rib steak with a fried shrimp add-on and a side of green beans. Everything was flavorful and cooked to perfection, well, almost at first! Our server, Devon, truly made the evening memorable. When the steak initially came out not quite how we ordered it, Devon handled the situation with professionalism and care. He immediately made sure it was corrected and returned perfectly cooked. His recommendations were spot-on, and his attentiveness made us feel genuinely cared for throughout the meal. The prime rib was tender and juicy, the shrimp were crispy and delicious, and the green beans were fresh and well-seasoned. Great food, excellent service, and a warm atmosphere; we’ll definitely be coming back!

We recently ordered the rib-eye steak (medium), sweet potato, and asparagus. The steak was cooked to perfection, and the sweet potato was delicious. Unfortunately, the asparagus was not delivered with our meal. Our server assured us it would be out shortly, but it seems to have been overlooked, likely due to how busy they were. Aside from this small oversight, we thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience.

Had dinner here for the 1st time. One of the best steak meals we have had in Houston!!! Highly recommend. Ask for Gabe - amazing server!!! Had great suggestions and amazing service.

Looking for a good dinner close to my hotel. King Texas Ranch looked like a good choice. It was. Service was excellent. Staff was friendly and quick. I got The Plate. Brisket and chicken with brussels sprouts instead of fries, coleslaw, cowboy beans, pickles, onions and Texas toast. For dessert I chose Butter Pecan Creme Brulee to go. Definitely a good value all around.

A Sweet Surprise: A Memorable Dining Experience I recently had the pleasure of dining at King Ranch, and from start to finish, it was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality, a cozy atmosphere, and an inviting aroma that promised good things ahead. The menu was a perfect blend of creativity and comfort, featuring fresh, high-quality ingredients in every dish. I opted for the crab cake and filet, which was beautifully plated and bursting with flavor. Every bite showed care and attention to detail—clearly the work of a talented kitchen team. But the real cherry on top? Just when we thought the meal couldn't get any better, our server Ada brought out a surprise sweet treat. It was a decadent carrot cake—rich, perfectly portioned, and absolutely delightful. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or just looking for a top-tier meal with a little extra sweetness, King Ranch delivers in every way. Highly recommended—and don’t forget to save room for dessert!

Google
We enjoyed our first meal of the year here today as a family. The food is delicious, for starters, the bread basket is a must order with the sweet butter and the brisket queso 😋 Barry our waiter took great care of us, very patient and attentive. The burgers were cooked just right, the fried shrimp-perfect, ribs, sweet baked potato is huge and chicken fried steak were also delicious. The atmosphere is pleasant. We will be back!

Yelp
My husband and I dined at the restaurant today for the Christmas buffet. We sat at the bar and Raven and Melvin gave top notch service! The grilled pineapple margarita is a must! It was refreshing and tasty! The buffet did not disappoint either. There was an array of appetizers, meats, sides, and desserts. My husband opted for the tomahawk with Brussel sprouts and it was amazing too! We will definitely be back!

Yelp
We went to King Ranch Texas Kitchen for a late lunch today and I'm having mixed emotions. Upon arrival, we waited a few minutes before someone came to the front to sit us. I maybe wouldn't have noticed but we arrived around 4p and the restaurant was pretty empty. I was just thinking maybe they didn't see us. As soon as we were set, our server took our drink order. I ordered sparkling water. The server brought me out a plastic bottle on San Pellegrino. No ice, no glass and no limes. Just a plastic bottle of San Pellegrino. That was the 1st time that I've ever been served Pellegrino that way in a restaurant. I askes the server for a glass of ice and some limes and she quickly brought them out. No harm, no foul. She then took our order. We ordered a bread basket for an appetizer. It had two biscuits, two pretzel sticks and one good size piece of cornbread. We both loved the biscuits (I just wasn't a fan of the butter. I like regular butter and this was like a cinnamon butter.), we both liked the pretzel sticks, but the cornbread... eh... it really wasn't that good. It kind of tasted like it was cooked in old bacon grease. I dont know if that was the case. It just tasted like that to me. For our meals I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak and mashed potatoes with the gravy on the side. I also order a side salad with Thousand Island dressing. The salad came out first and it was GREAT. Loved how they mixed the dressing into the salad for me. Sadly, the chicken fried steak and the mashed potatoes were a huge let down. The steak was tough and the breading wasn't all that good. My fiance ordered the BBQ platter and chose two meats. He opted for the brisket and the sausage. When it came out it had pickles, onions, slaw, potato salad, green beans (he subbed the fries for the green beans), BBQ sauce, sausage and RIBS. We let the server know that he had ordered brisket and not ribs, and she fixed it right away. I was able to taste the ribs and they were good, but just like any ribs that you'd get at a non BBQ restaurant. They were actually the best tasting thing that I ate. He said that his platter was ok. Not great and that he wouldn't order it again. I kind of felt bad because he wanted to order a burger and I talked him out of it. We ordered the butter pecan creme Brulee for dessert. It was also just ok. Our server however was very nice and attentive. I have zero complaints about her service. Everything that wasn't right, she was quick to correct it. My over all is... maybe we ordered the wrong items. I usually get better food at a Landry's restaurant... so it was... ummmm... different. I dont think we'll be returning to that particular restaurant anytime soon, not because of service, just because I don't feel like the food was worth the price.

Yelp
Been here twice. Last year the Christmas buffet was pretty good. The service was questionable, but they got it figured out Thanksgiving 2024: what a joke. They sat us for a 5:30 reservation for the buffet. They took our money for the buffet, gave us the wrist bands at 5:40 and the only after we got our first plate did they tell us the buffet closed at 6:00! Service was absolutely terrible, even for a holiday. They cleared our drinks while we were getting the buffet the first time, including two glasses of wine that had not even had a drink out of them yet. We finally got those replaced after a 10 minute wait to get the waiter and another 15 minute wait to get the wine. The buffet itself was pretty picked over, with many items out or down to the dregs. Through the entire thing, not one apology. What a dreadful experience.

Yelp
This is not a fancy place, but it is a very nice place and for what you are served it's a reasonable price. You don't have to be dressed up to go here, but you can certainly come here and get a good meal. There was a party of six at my last visit and all of us had good food except one man who ordered his steak, medium, rare received it well done. He didn't say anything and he ate it, but it was rather tough and he didn't like it. Mine and several other people ordered steaks and they were just done perfectly. He should've sent it back and gotten another one. The servers were all terrific. They were on the spot without being obtrusive And always had a smile and were willing to help. I like coming here when I just wanna get in and have a good meal. By the way, this was Valentine's Day night and we got a reservation for 7 PM and were seated at about 7:10 PM.

Yelp
The service was very good. We started with the queso dip which was super good. Everything after was disappointing. Got the platter of ribs, chicken and brisket. The brisket had good flavor but was dry, the chicken was extremely dry, the ribs were fall off the bone and did taste good but again they were also dry. The Mac and cheese was ok, could have been hotter. The fried shrimp was mediocre. Overall I rate the whole place as mediocre but we won't be going back.

Yelp
Was excited to take my parents to this restaurant and was very disappointed. service was slow on a Friday night and the restaurant was not overly crowded. I ordered the bbq plate and this restaurant is known for its menu well they were out of brisket of all items! That's like going to a steakhouse and the restaurant informing me they are out of steaks !! overall not a good experience! Do not recommend this restaurant. Rudy's bbq maybe a better option or pappas bbq

Yelp
My fiancé and I have been here 3 times and we have ordered carry out twice. We are addicted to their bread baskets. We really loved this place until our most recent visit. We were celebrating our anniversary and chose to sit outside. We wanted to be alone and be able to enjoy each other's company. We were seated, got our drink orders, and then our waitress went back inside. We got caught up in conversation when she came back with our drinks we ordered a bread basket. She said she'd put it in for us. We continued talked and more time went by. It was 25 minutes before we got our bread basket and then an additional 30 before we saw our waitress (a runner brought our basket out). We had been sitting at the table for an hour at this point and still hadn't ordered our food. We realized that we had been forgotten. Our waitress reappears to take our order and ask if we needed more drinks. I just ask for water and order my food and my fiancé does the same. We never received water, and our food was brought out by a runner, again. Our waitress didn't reappear again until our food was gone to ask "how everything was". We had steaks, if one of them was cooked incorrectly, it would have been cold but the time she came back. I really hate to give a lower rating because we really do love this place, but they chose the wrong visit to miss. It was our anniversary, we didn't even stay for dessert because we knew it'd add an hour. The young girl waiting on us, even asked us to review her. I will not share her name, but I will say that if you want people to review you, do your job well so they have nice things to say. moral of the story, sit inside or they'll forget about you.

Yelp
Great Texas style restaurant, Texas, food, Texas ambience, Texas size cocktails,?Texas, charm! You won't be hungry when you leave this place! Their menu is terrific with lots to offer and their portions are huge. Their drinks are delicious. And the ambience is Texas style. Dress is casual...But you'll feel like a cowboy/cowgirl when you leave! Parking is easy right in front and around the restaurant. Located in the galleria area. Perfect location for shopping and dining. Parking is free. The restaurant is large and you can make reservations on OpenTable. Did I mention the desserts? They are spectacular! Always a favorite place for me to meet my friends when I go back home to visit! The weight staff is always friendly and fun making your visit there extra special!

Yelp
Out with the wifey after a big sibling meeting, and I suggested we try this place. First off the waiter starts you off with some really yummy bread. It's a basket filled with cornbread, biscuits and pretzel bread. It comes with a side of sweet butter. It was heavenly deliciousness! I was so happy we did! I got the two meat brisket and rib plate, which also comes with Vimeo and fries. While the brisket and ribs were not the best I've ever had, it's definitely in the top 5 I've had of all time. I really enjoy it and would definitely come back to get it again.

Yelp
Excellent food and service. Large portions and fresh ingredients. Parking was easy and free.

Yelp
HRW menu was okay. We got the crab cake and casserole and they were good, my key lime(very small slice) was very tasty.. my friend got the brownie and she was very disappointed, it was extremely thick and dried out, any time she cut into it, it would crumble.

Yelp
Great feels like Texas atmosphere. My steak was cooked perfectly, but the other at our table was not. Server very nice, but admitted he was new and a bit nervous. Bread basket was delicious as well as the steak accompaniments. Dessert was very decadent and too much for two people, but disappeared nonetheless.

Yelp
Ryan, our waiter was attentive good customer service. Smoked brisket with queso was good but a little salty. Prime rib was cooked perfect tender and delicious Cesar salad was fresh and good.

Yelp
Loved this place! The ambiance was very country but it fit the restaurant perfectly. The server was friendly and attentive till the end then we had to ask for our own check/refills. This was my first time trying this place. The Caesar salad was delicious and they give you complementary bread. We ordered a barbecue platter and split it and we even had enough food for leftovers. I will be going back to try more items off the menu.

Yelp
Devon was my bartender / server for the today and he was great . Drinks were very tasty and he made sure I had everything I needed to make my experience perfect. His customer service skill was impeccable.

Yelp
Celebrating a Friday with my husband at King Ranch Texas Kitchen on Post Oak. This restaurant has a cowboy down home Texas vibe. They have lots of tables and booths. They have a bar area and they also have covered outdoor seating. We went in for a late lunch which was perfect as the restaurant was not as crowded. We started off with a starter of "Brad's Crab Stack" which is Fresh Jumbo Lump Crab Salad, Avocado, Cilantro & Scallion Citrus Salad, Sriracha Aioli this was served with tortilla chips. This looked and tasted delicious!! We then had a house chopped salad. Followed by our main entrees which were the prime rib with sweet potato for husband and the fried shrimp with fries for me. All the food was delicious and cooked well. The service here was great. Lots of free parking available. And yes this is a Landry family restaurant. Go, enjoy and bring your appetite.

Yelp
This year, I decided to try a different restaurant that is included under Landry's to use my $25 birthday reward. I chose this location, and yes, I will go again. The only part that could be better is greeting. I stood in the front for 6 minutes before the hostess came to seat me. Now, it would be better if the two waiters that passed by me would have at least said hi. I saw the hostess near the bar with 3 other staff, and again, one of them could have at least said hi when I came in. Now on to the food and my waiter. The waiter kindly came to the table and spoke nicely. He asked if I wanted a drink, I said no, and he said we have a pumpkin spice martini. Then, instantly, I changed my mind and took the martini because I like pumpkin spice. It was so good. Before he took my order, I asked him if he needed my phone number to get my birthday reward he said yes, and he kindly wished me happy birthday. I ordered the Salmon and Shrimp Brochette that came with jambalaya rice, I also ordered a side of brussel sprouts. The salmon, shrimp, zucchini, and squash were so tasteful and nicely flavored and grilled. The brussel sprouts were good and baked well. The jambalaya tasted more like rice pilaf, which was fine to me because sometimes jambalaya at other restaurants is a bit spicy. The waiter came to check if everything was good, and I asked for a to go box. He then surprisingly said, "Is today your birthday I told him it was actually last month, and he said, "That's okay. We will still give you a free dessert. That was so nice and made me happy, and I was able to get it to go. Landry's list this restaurant as an upscale fine dining, but it is more causal. I appeared overdressed, which is not a problem for me because I had just came from a stage show, but other guests wore shorts, jeans, and very casual attire.

Yelp
This is a tale of mistaken identity: restaurant version. On a previous visit to Houston, we made a stop to what we assumed was King Ranch Texas Kitchen. The place we had originally stopped at left a lasting impression and we vowed to go back. Unfortunately, it wasn't King Ranch, but we were here, so we stayed. Atmosphere wise, this place was pretty nice and had a whole Texan vibe going. It looked and felt a bit more elegant than it seemed from outside. Being a meat place, the food was a bit on the pricy side, with some affordable lunch options. I ordered the Country Fried Steak, which usually has mashed potatoes, but I subbed for broccoli. It was around $15. The meat was a bit on the gristly side and the breading kept coming off whenever I cut into the meat. Honestly, it could have been better. Overall the food and prices were just ok. Service was good and the atmosphere was outstanding. I could see myself coming back for their Happy Hour. Might be worth a second visit to order something else.

Yelp
Amazing service and food!! 10 stars Prime rib chili never disappoints. Thank you again.

Yelp
Decent steakhouse in Galleria area. We had dinner for 30 in a meeting room in the restaurant. The menu was prearranged and had a decent set of choices. I had a 6oz filet which was nicely cooked. The side dishes were served family style and included green beans seasoned really well, and some of the best macaroni and cheese I've had in Texas. I'll definitely be going back as an independent diner so I can sample the larger menu.

Yelp
Everything was very good. From the greeting to the end. Very professional waitstaff. They attended to all our needs with our party of 10. They were very busy and the noise level was moderate in my opinion. Overall, a very successful evening. We had Sean as our server and he did a very good job and was very personable with all our group. We all had different dishes and I have pictured them below. I highly recommend this place. We had the quail appetiser as well but no pictures got taken....the were gobbled up to fast.

Yelp
Great atmosphere for Christmas week. The staff was wonderful. Our waitress was great. And the hostesses were very informative. Thank you so much and merry Christmas.

Yelp
I have heard so many great things about King Ranch so I was super excited to try it out. The ambiance was great. It is definitely what you would expect in a very Texan establishment. There was ample parking. I ubered bc I was intending to have a couple of drinks. If you are interested in just having one drink, parking should not be a problem. The service was a solid 3/5 and this is why. I have an allergy to poultry and eggs. I ordered grilled salmon and that was my expectation. I got a glazed salmon and my server didn't know whether there was poultry or egg in the glaze. I had to request the server to go back to the kitchen and inquire what the glaze/sauce on the salmon was. The salad was amazing!! Great olive to salad ratio...olives are why I love Greek salads... until I bit into the iceberg lettuce and experienced a mouthful of chunky gritty and grainy stuff. This was not a pleasant experience! I absolutely love all things lettuce so I left it for last as you can see from my second pic. This was both the best and worst decision of the night. Eating dirty produce is really not a pleasant experience This would have been a 5/5 recommendation were it not for the service and the dirt in the lettuce. I will definitely recommend and return for drinks during a happy hour.

Yelp
We came here with a party of 7. We made a reservation for an early dinner and were seated immediately. Our waiter Shaun(sp) was friendly and thorough-he kept the refills coming for water and sweet tea and he explained the menu well. Everyone ordered something different and everyone enjoyed their food. My steak was cooked at the perfect medium temperature. Those who had the fries and potatoes loved them and the brussels also had rave reviews. Mac and cheese was so-so.The desserts were humongous but that didn't stop me from eating all of mine (State Fair) would have loved to try the German Chocolate cake but it was not on the menu when we dined so be warned the online menus aren't always up to date. Would return again.

Yelp
Love this place because of great service from people like Melvin! Had a great experience overall with Melvin who understood what we liked and didn't like. My go-to spot for great food and better service!!!

Yelp
Can I just say I've never had a waiter, so attentive and thoughtful..... I used to work for saltgrass.... And have watched the quality of servers slowly dwindle into the abyss of not caring.... Skyler my waitress, Needs to be cloned and placed in every landry's restaurant ‍

Yelp
I haven't been to this spot since Willie G's occupied this building. I've always been curious to try King Ranch, and the opportunity finally popped up. I met a group of folks there for brunch, we agreed that we'll need to schedule a dinner there in 2024. This review is for brunch, I may update it with thoughts on dinner once that happens. We arrived around 11am, so for a bit we were the only diners in the establishment. I ordered the Texas Peach Tea and it was delightful. We ordered the jalapeño shrimp for an appetizer, and it was quite flavorful. Would definitely order them on a subsequent visit. I asked the server which was more popular with customers.....French Toast or Avocado Toast, she stated the former was more popular so French Toast it was! Food arrived in a timely manner. I had concerns about the dish being overly sweet with the caramel all over, but those concerns were put to rest as soon as I took my first bite. The flavors on it were well-balanced. The sweetness of the French toast paired quite well with the savoriness of the bacon. Overall, we had a great experience, customer service was on point and our group looks forward to planning a dinner there in 2024.

Yelp
Restaurant was very nice and clean. Our waitress was very nice. The food wasn't bad but I feel it's Saltgrass 2.0. ‍ Nothing super special.

Yelp
Had lunch at King Ranch Texas Kitchen twice. First visit I had their BBQ lunch plate with brisket. The brisket was a bit over cooked, but the flavor was there. Second time I had the smoked chicken lunch plate with jambalaya rice. Chicken was cooked well and was not dry. The jambalaya rice was seasoned well. We also had the bread basket, which came with biscuits, cornbread, and pretzels. So so yummy. Colleagues had salads and enchiladas, which they enjoyed. Great place for lunch. Have not been there for dinner. Lunch does get busy. Parking: Sufficient surface parking.
google avatar

Dennis S.

Yelp
Food was warmed up, not cooked fresh to order. Meal was underwhelming. First time diner so idk what to order/what is popular/what KRTK is known for.

Yelp
This is my 497 visit to King Ranch in Houston and somehow it keeps getting better each time I go. Raven and Devon were amazing this evening as always. Raven's warm smile and Devon's great attitude make for a winning combination for this must try restaurant in Houston. I had the 16 ounce ribeye and once again it did not disappoint. Also do not get any other side, but the brussels sprouts as they are quite possibly the best I've ever had.

Karen M.

Yelp
My husband brought a slice of your carrot cake home to me since I could not go last night. That carrot cake is the best I have ever had! Does your staff make it? Or is it brought in from outside! I would love to know the source!
google avatar

Tae M.

Yelp
The food is delicious and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I loved the brisket empanadas, Chopped brisket sandwich, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, and green beans. For the bread basket, I recommend asking only for the pretzels, ad the biscuit and cornbread were both pretty dry and flavorless. The space isn't *super* wheelchair friendly when it comes to the layout of the tables, so I would recommend calling ahead to let them know a special area is needed.

Yelp
Came here for a Sunday brunch after hearing all the great reviews and I'm so glad we did! We made a reservation and upon entering were immediately greeted by smiling staff! Our server EJ was out of this world great! He had a great personality and gave great recommendations on the food! We tried the calamari which was served up on a bed of fried onions and peppers and it was perfectly seasoned, crispy and had some great sauces on the side. My son got the French toast with bacon and grits, and they were just as good! French toast was just enough sweet, bacon crispy just like we like it, and the grits!!! I'm a lover of grits and it's hard to find a restaurant that does them well, and they hands down for that in the bag! I got the sirloin with a loaded baked potato and it was cooked just to my liking, medium rare, and it was paired great with each bite of that yummy potato! I wanted to try dessert but we were stuffed, so next time we'll have to get dessert first!

Yelp
I still think about the chicken salad from this place lol it is amazing!!! Will definitely be returning

Yelp
I had my first experience at King Ranch this week, and loved it. My family had celebrated a birthday there a couple of weeks ago but I was out of town so missed the experience. So, when I arrived back to Houston, we went again. Our waiter, Devon, was delightful and did an excellent job making sure everyone had what they needed, which is not easy with a party of 11 ranging in age from 86 to 2 weeks. I ordered a half rack of ribs, which was served with fresh cut french fires. Both were delicious. Everyone raved about their meals. Excited to go back and try the crab cake!! Highly recommend this very family friendly establishment, and would request Devon as your server. He was excellent!

Yelp

Yelp
Devon was our waiter for the night, recommended the HRW menu and recommended excellent cocktails to match our spread. Great experience for a tranquil dinner date!

Yelp
I've dined here several times and each visit has been spot-on, whether I was seated at the bar or at a table. The menu's got a solid variety, hitting the mark for all kinds of tastes. Plus, the noise level is just right--you can actually have a conversation without having to shout, which is a rare find these days. Big shoutout to our waiter tonight, Devon. The guy was on point: there when you needed him but never hovering. He knew his stuff too, answered all our questions about the menu without missing a beat. His service was a big part of what made the meal standout.

Yelp
I ate dinner here on a Saturday night. Spacious restaurant. Just a short wait to be seated. Our waiter was hospitable & deliver terrific customer service. The ribs were the best! Mac & was good too. The 7 spice fries were delicious. Definitely recommend this spot. : STEAK & SHRIMP 6oz Top Sirloin, (4) Fried or Grilled Shrimp, Green Beans & Jambalaya Rice : BBQ BABY BACK RIBS Slow Cooked & Fall Off The Bone, 7-spice Fries : THE PLATE Choice of Brisket, Ribs, Sausage or Smoked Chicken with Fresh Slaw, Onions, Pickles, 7 Spice Fries

Yelp
This place is amazing for a true Texas experience. The service from Devon was top notch and he was very attentive to our drinks and food. The vibe was very Texan and we'll definitely be coming back with out-of-state guests.

Yelp
Such an amazing place for a date night. The food is always absolutely amazing. And the service is on point. We had Devon as our waiter and he was fantastic! Very nice and recommended the red fish which was excellent. Service was fast and the food was delicious. Love it here!

Yelp
Had a really nice lunch here on Christmas. The bbq was exceptional! There's a full service bar which is nice while you wait. Can't go wrong with any of the food options. Overall, very nice and clean restaurant, great for big parties

Yelp
Not busy for a Friday night. Plenty parking. Merchandise available for purchase upon entrance. I say our servers name was Fin (husband thinks his name was Sven) Anyway, he was absolutely wonderful. He was attentive and prompt. He stopped by enough. We had bread basket, Ny Strip, ribeye and sweet potatoes. The cornbread was dense but the pretzel and biscuit was on point. Honey butter was a hit with the locals. Both steaks were tender and flavorful. Slight charred edges was perfect. The potatoes had honey butter, pecans and green onions. I thought it was tasty. Hubby thought the green onions altered his palate for the potato so he didn't take a second bite. I would definitely come back.

Yelp
How does this place stay in business?? The food and service are both awful. The salmon was mushy. Never got items we ordered. Service was slow. The bread basket is the only decent thing they serve. I wish someone would put a great restaurant in this site.

Yelp
I ordered the 12 ounce ribeye. The steak had no flavor, and my baked potato tasted like it had been cooked yesterday and reheated. The only option for steak sauce was A1, which I hate. For the price, I would have expected bread and a salad to be included. We came because it had high rating, but in my opinion, it is overrated. I think Saltgrass is a much better option for a good steak! I also found the service lacking.

Yelp
I came here for a Saturday brunch. I had the Houston restaurant week menu. The decor of the place is pretty interesting. The food was good apart from the steak soup was a bit salty. The service was a little slow which was a bit disappointed. It didn't look that busy but some of ppl in my table waited long tome for their food and drinks. Over all its a cool place to visit when your are around.

Yelp
Omg If I could give 6 stars I would!! Andrew was our server and he was amazing! Great attitude, funny, he caught on to our jokes! Drinks never empty, bar drinks quick, his recommendations were on point! Our steaks were perfect! Ribeye Med Rare plus Pittsburg style was the best steak I ever had! Beats Pappas, Steak 48 and Mastros!!! Way to go Andrew!!!
