King Street Grille - Mt Pleasant

As we entered there is an old fashion revolving door which was cool. The inside is completely open and spacious. There are tv’s all over playing every sport you’d like. I had the BBQ Chicken Sandwich with Bacon and Smoked Gouda ‘twas delicious. My wife had the Philly Steak with Caramelized onions, Red & Green Peppers. She said it was the best Philly she’s had in a long, long time, “They got the peppers just right”. My daughter had the Penne Chicken & Sun Dried Tomatoes which she enjoyed. Oh, I almost forgot the Waffle Fries were good too. Our waitress was funny and very attentive. We’ll be back I’m sure.

Des, our server, was super and always smiling. Our food was really great tasting. Had the 1/2 price burger on this day and was soooo good. 5 🌟 $$

King Street Grille is not only the best hamburger you will enjoy in town, but it is also the best atmosphere that you can imagine. Truly a great place, especially with the pretzel buns, and a delicious meal—including the sweet potato fries. A place that is great to take some friends, or go out and grab lunch with co-workers. A wide variety of selection that anyone can find something to enjoy eating.

We usually come here when we visit Charleston for a long weekend. So this Friday night we stopped in for 🍽️ dinner and watch the Carolina Hurricanes 🌀 (Canes) game. Unfortunately the restaurant couldn’t get the game 😫 Blacked out we believe. However, the manager was quick to try and jump in and get the game for us with no luck. Thank you to him for trying to accommodate our request. 👏🏼 Our server was amazing. He was very attentive and always there to get us fresh 🍹 . Food came out hot and in a timely manner. 😊 The food this time was a little bit disappointing 😒although the shrimp eggrolls were amazing. I ordered the wings-they were overdone and dry. The waffle fries-never disappoint 🙂 Husband ordered pasta with shrimp 🍤 and enjoyed it. On a sidenote, the last time we were here, I ordered the chop salad that you can pretty much make to order and that was out of this world good 👍🏻 👍🏻 We will definitely come back as we always enjoy the service and the food usually is really good. We still highly recommend this restaurant they must’ve just had a bad batch of wings. 😒 See you next year!! 👋

stopped in for some lunch and football on a Sunday. the sandwiches were pretty good for bar food, and the service was excellent. Fun time with different patrons supporting their NFL teams. Cuban sandwich was tasty. Would go back for the environment and excellent service received!

We came in later and sat outside. Having the playground on the patio is such a fun idea. The food was delicious I suggest the black and blue medallions appetizer add a side and it's a great meal. Thanks again!

Grace and Christian served us WELL. The food was delicious and flavorful. The ambience is for sure sports bar. Overwhelming amount of screen but, it was calm and relaxed. We had the wings, which you can split the flavors in 2 on. The signature chicken Chesapeake and the spinach dip, which could be a little creamier, yet still delicious. Will gladly return again on a weekday when it's not too busy. Parking was also pretty easy. The revolving door is different but a little restricting.

One of the best salads in town! Plus the service at the bar is always amazing! Don't miss out on their half price burgers on Wednesday!

I stopped in last night for a quick "dinner". We already ate but I was craving something else and didn't know what so I picked a sports bar because they generally have a lot of items to pick from, and KSG definitely has options. The salads are giant, like three people could easily share one. We ordered The wings well done and they came out what I would consider normally cooked, as expecting a little more crunch. The flavor was spot on. They have typical beer and liquor choices. They do have some football deals for the playoffs. They have an amazing outdoor space with a playground for the kiddos. Super awesome actually. Great little spot to grab a bite while watching a game.

Overall: An average bar experience with lots of good and bad. The good: Reasonable prices, lots of seating, and a good-sized menu. Plenty of TVs and we were able to request one change without any issue. Burger I ordered was good, with crispy bacon and a well portioned patty. Parking was not an issue and they have an outdoor area for kids. The not-so-good: Service was slow, especially waiting on food to come. Probably 30 minutes or so after we ordered. The main screen/projector that we were using at our table was dim and cut out several times throughout the game. Multiple drafts were tapped out on a Saturday night. Fries were cold. Food/drink: 6/10 Atmosphere: 6/10 Service: 6/10

Went on a Sunday afternoon and was seated in a booth right away. There was football on every TV but I don't believe any "big" games (I really don't follow sports). Family friendly, friendly staff, high chairs available. Very large wrap around booths to accommodate more than 6 people and high tops by the bar. I built my own salad which I was happy with. My husband had buffalo wings which he really liked and my toddler got the grilled cheese with French fries. The French fries were waffle cut and seasoned great. The grilled cheese was dry toast with melted cheese. Maybe they make it that way so it's not greasy for kids? Either way my son loved the fries and wasn't into the grilled cheese which was understandable. Unfortunately it was cold and rainy but I will absolutely come back with my son on a nice day for the outdoor playground. I wish more places had something like that

YUMMY! I don't know why I waited so long. This was my second time with a long time between visits. The food was AWESOME. So good I forgot to take more pictures. Greeted at the hostess stand and seated immediately. I had the Chicken Madeira which was outstanding. Tender and juicy with a sauce I wish I had the recipe for. My daughter decided on the build your own salad. Great Food, great service, full bar, and upbeat atmosphere. It got a little crowded but the restaurant is quite spacious. Family friendly with a kiddos play area outside. Indoor and outdoor seating.

I tried to have dinner and watch the playoff game but we didn't make it past getting to our table. It was playoff night, but the restaurant wasn't crazy busy and once someone came to the hostess station we were taken to a table right away. As we approached the table I easily saw a balled up straw wrapper. It's white, the table is dark - you couldn't miss it. The hostess ignored it, sat out menus down, and was ready to walk away. I stopped her and asked if someone could wipe the table down. It had not been wiped at all!!! Not even a cursory swipe. There were crumbs and drink rings and on it. The same hostess did go get a rag and wipe the table. We started to sit and I saw the booth seats were in the same condition. Crumbs and wasted water! It was disgusting. The restaurant itself definitely needed a good sweeping. We left without sitting or eating. As we left the hostess just watched us go. An icky experience on this one.

The absolute worst place in Mt Pleasant for service. When we sat down to order informed our server that we were pressed for time and the server said" why did you come to a sit down restaurant?" The restaurant was empty. This rude server was only surpassed by the snaggletoothed manager who has ZERO people skills. Please save yourself time and frustration and avoid this place. So many more great options in different dining this town of Mount Pleasant. Terrible service at this place!!

Good place to have a drink, food wasn't anything special. Service was slow...I wouldn't come back to eat here.

My friend and I came here for lunch, and it was fairly quiet. It definitely seemed like this place pops up during the evening. There are many TV's that display sports games. Spanish Fly Burger: The pretzel bun wasn't really my cup of tea, but everything inside the buns were very delicious, and it came nicely together. The jalapeno and the chipotle sauce has a kick to it, but it went nicely with the sausages. The waffle fries that came with the burger were pretty crispy, which I very much appreciated. They have their own parking spot, so it's convenient to try not to find a spot. Overall, 7.8 out of 10.

My husband and I go here often with my daughter. It's a great atmosphere, very kid friendly, and the food is great! We've never had bad service here either. Love!

Amazing food! The salad was to die for. It was so flavorful and fresh. The chicken quesadilla was spicyyy but I loved it. We had amazing service who served all 25 of us that popped in after a wedding. The food was delivered fast and hot. We arrived later in the evening and everyone was so nice. I can't wait to go back!

My husband and I came here last week and it was so delicious!! Not to mention the server Mary Grace was the best server I've ever had! She told me she loved my outfit and she just overall went above and beyond to make our experience one of a kind. Highly recommend King Street Grille and ask for Mary Grace's section. You will not be disappointed!

King Street Grille has a great happy hour. If you sit in the bar area you can't beat the drink prices. I like the app options but wish it was a bigger list of options. Their mini sliders are yummy. Bartenders here are very personable and are great remembering your drink order if you've been in before. Wait staff is quick and attentive. Although the bar is usually filled with regulars, there is an extended area where you can sit and still get the happy hour prices. Parking is good here but remember between 4-7 it's usually crowded.

My entree was not seasoned at all and the mashed potatoes tasted like they're instant. Very disappointing. Even the chocolate cake was dry.

Sad how the portions have changed. The boneless tender platter has tenders that have been shrunk. Hummus platter is now pita and a bowl of hummus. Kids chicken finger platter had 5 fries....

The food was okay. It wasn't bad by any means, but was over priced in my opinion. The waitress did not come by our table much and brought us a second lemonade that we didn't order. She brought it out right before we were ready to leave and we did not get a chance to drink it. We still got charged for the lemonade we didn't order. Made the experience a little disappointing. Edit: Ryan, I was charged for a drink I didn't order. It's scammy. Sorry yelp is disappointing for you.

We went here for dinner because it was close to the hotel. Being a sports bar, it was loud inside (expected that) so we asked to sit outside. The outside area is nice and has a well maintained play area if you have little ones. It was clean and a nice atmosphere. We sat there foooorever waiting to have someone at least take our drink order. A couple servers came out but only talked to the two other tables sitting there. After quite a while we decided we'd just go inside and place a to go order and take it back to the room. As we started to get up our server came out and finally took our drink and food order. The food came out fast and was pretty good. No complaints on the food at all. Back to lacking service again as no one brought us silverware or napkins so we had to ask for those. Then we had to flag a different server down to get refills. I'm not sure if it was because she was busy or if we were just forgotten because we were sitting outside but lack of service made this 3 stars.

The Turkey burger was delicious and didn't take long to get done. friendly service and nice atmosphere.

Nice sized burgers, nice amount of waffle fries. The wings looked wonderful. When feeling a teenager size is important! He was very pleased with presentation, size, and taste. So was I. Really good burger. Delivery was quick and the order was right! What more can you ask?

Came here based on "Crazy Biancas" review, any establishment willing to tell a customer to take their rotten kids and get the fuck out is the kind of place for me!! Told the server we came here on Biancas recommendation and we got the straight scoop, that's the downside of Yelp is that "Batshit Bianca" and her pal "Cancel Culture Carla" can say what they want whether there is any truth or not. Great service on a Thursday night, the medallion appetizer and Mac and cheese egg roll were fantastic. Burger is out of this world and a great guess for an out of towner to get food. Lou Rawls on the jukebox man this place is legit. Our servers name was Catherine and she was fantastic. Over the moon about our experience and the vibe here, so glad we happened upon it.

This weekend I stopped into King Street and during my visit: I listened to 100% of the customers sitting at the bar complaining about the exact same thing... The Bar Stools are extremely uncomfortable. And I've been complaining about these bar stools since they were installed. WHY DOESN'T THIS COMPANY RESPOND TO CUSTOMERS??? The Bartender on duty said that she hears this complaining about the stools on a daily basis. Company doesn't seen to care...

One of my favorite restaurants hands down. Buffalo fried shrimp salad is my go to order. Tons of tvs, considerate staff, and overall very clean environment.

As locals we've been to King Street Grille many times, mostly for lunch. This evening we went at the request of a friend who wanted one of their amazing salads. Our server, Titi, (I hope I have her name right!) was delightful. She was professional, knew her menu, and super friendly. We ordered an app, and a cocktail, all great. I chose the salmon, described as, "5 Herb Salmon* Salmon filet lightly rubbed with horseradish mayo, crusted with 5 herbs (rosemary, parsley, basil, scallions, cilantro), and served atop shrimp scampi mashed potatoes. Served with a basil pesto sauce. The salmon was really good, however the pesto sauce was overwhelmingly salty, and when I tried the shrimp, I couldn't eat it due to the amount of salt it had in it. I mentioned this to our server and she brought me a bowl of shrimp. However, this shrimp was even saltier. At this point I asked to speak with the manager. Brian, the manager said, "I watched them cook this myself, and there's no salt on it." I asked him to taste one, and he replied that he's allergic. He then assured me, "I'm not sure how they're salty, but the cook didn't add salt". He said he'd take them off the bill, but instead discounted it by $10.00. Not impressed with your abilities as a manager Brian! You basically called me a liar, and offended a customer that isn't afraid to go way above your head.

Went there for lunch with 2 grandsons today. Promptly seated in the restaurant that was about 70% empty at 12:45. Served water also quickly. That was it did not see server for 35 minutes. Finally flagged her down. She was apologetic, said "I am not feeling well and not myself today." Ordered , in between she refilled water asked her what was wrong she said " have a cold, but don't worry I don't have Covid.." Lunch came about 29 minutes later, chicken tenders ( 4 for $12) were about 3 inches long and over cooked. My sandwich ( patty melt) was the worst that I have ever had!!!! Dry rye bread half grilled with one thin slice of cheese. It was tasteless!! Noticed that price was reduced - never complained other than it was served never had a patty melt that was simply a patty slapped between two dried out pieces of bread.. Wanted to take my grandsons to a place a bit more upscale than Wendy's - the only thing more upscale about the King Street Grille was the price!!!

Service was fair, that's about it. Soup was warm--not hot. burger was bland, had to ask for silverware, please don't put an old fashion on the menu and then send out a sugar whiskey with no garnish--gross. I had high hopes for a good burger, didn't happen.

Lunch time choices have you in a rut? Head over to the KSG to dine-in and Build-Your-Own chopped salad for half the price on Tuesdays. I often come with a bunch of swim friends after Aquatics and everyone loves it! Currently priced at $10.99, $5.50 gets you a large bowl of everything you love in your salad. Pick your base ... romaine or mixed greens ... and choose 5 among 33 toppings. I always get the same items - bacon, beets, hard boiled egg, black olive, blue cheese and bacon and have it tossed with fat free dressing. Do it your way ... fruit? nuts? tons of veggies? ... it's made fresh just for you. Sometimes, I add a protein, usually grilled chicken breast . There's 12 additional choices, with an up-charge ranging from $3.99 - $8.99. It's generally very crowded so sometimes service can be slow ... but if you are not in a rush, you'll be very satisfied.

This place gets a four star rating because of friendly service and speedy service. I had the crab cake sandwich with waffle fries. I was waiting for the wow factor. But it never hit me. The fries were average. The food was hot. The tastes wasn't bad but I was really wanting some bold and savory flavors. Meal was priced at market price which was $17.99 today (9/9/21). I could drink the mojitos all day. It was so good. It was priced at 8.50. Not bad.

I love coming here after I get off work! The staff members are always so happy, nothing but smiles here! They have huge TVs everywhere for sports you can be anywhere in that restaurant and see it! The drinks are always amazing and come out fast! My favorite appetizers are the nachos and steak bites! Yes the steak bites say they have blue cheese and if your person who gets freaked out by blue cheese like many of my friends still try it because you barley even notice with all the juice and garlic. It's my favorite thing on the menu!

when we first walked we could barely hear the hostes , we got our food and it was nothing what we wanted. We were waiting for the check and couldn't hear nothing besides the music blaring, and two of the employees flirting and on there phones taking pictures of each others butt.

Went to King St on a Thursday night, around 830pm. There was about 6 other groups in the place, room for a LOT more. They have indoor and outdoor seating, with covered outdoor seating. Inside is really nice, very spaced out, high top tables and booths in leather grey material, very comfy. Tons of TVs plastered on the walls, with a great venue anywhere you are seated. Service was quick, lots to choose from on the menu. Food was out quick, and the waitress was very friendly and helpful, even seemingly at the end of her shift. Drinks were even served very quickly, which was a bonus Food: I ordered a bacon cheddar burger. The bacon was a little well done, other than that, the burger was great, fries were the waffle kind, (my fav), and everything tasted great. No complaints from me! Margarita was done great, I am a fan of what I am calling my new fav sports bar in Mt. Pleasant. Good job!

Had a Monday lunch they had a gyro special. They didn't warm the pita it cracked when folded and was not palatable cold. The meat strips were overcooked dry like jerky. They only put a teaspoon o taziki. The beer was cold.

King Street Grill is always our go to for Sunday football! We're falcons fans and often don't get the game at home, so King Street is one of the only places we've found with enough TVs to satisfy everyone's football needs. We normally sit at the bar and the service is always top notch. The bartenders immediately greet you and continuously check on you to make sure you have everything you need. We most often get buckets of domestic beer. They do have a few game day specials on food and beer, but I must admit I think they could do a little bit better with those. I know things are tough right now, but maybe we could reevaluate the specials at some point. The food is delicious from what we've tried. We've had the egg rolls, the chicken tenders and waffle fries! The waffle fries are amazinggggg! And a side of waffle fries is the perfect game day snack! They also have happy hour deals and even do happy hour on the weekends which is really nice. This place is perfect for watching sports and drinking beer!

They answered their phone and it was easy to place a pick-up order. The order was executed correctly, it was easy to get a bartenders' attention when I arrived, and the food was ready when they said it would be. Easy parking. The build-your-own salad is a great idea. My husband enjoyed his entree. We will get food from them again soon!

Their Philly cheese steak isn't their feature dish but I'd have to say if was the worst cheesesteak I've ever had. Tasted like steakumms with plastic looking American cheese

There are not many things open late in Mount Pleasant on a Wednesday if you're looking for a cocktail, but thankfully King Street worked out for just what we needed. It was located just steps away from our hotel which was super convenient after a long day of back to back activities. The bartender was super sweet and recommended a few drinks. The place was pretty empty except for a few people catching some of the NBA games. I really wanted a margarita and the bartender recommended the blood orange which I wasn't that excited to order but did anyway and I was surprised that it was quite tasty and eventhough the kitchen closed at 10 she offered us chips and salsa which weren't that great but it was a nice gesture. I can't speak for the food here but the drinks were good.

came in with my family to have a great lunch. After the server which name is Sean greeted us we sat there for 30 minutes with no apps, and no further communication about how long they will be after walking up to the expo window and talking to the manager, who was exposing the food, she told me that our food will be coming right out that she was just waiting on one more item for the ticket. I further in went to my table and waited a little bit longer after waiting almost 40 minutes with no apps me and my family were getting highly frustrated. finally after 40 minutes, our food finally came out along with our apps. the food by then was now cold after waiting 40 minutes plus to get any communication or acknowledgment about how long our food would take. We didn't ask Sean to go grab his she came to our table was not pleasant at all was highly rude and said oh be that we don't like the food we can just get up and leave because she was short staffed.

Me and my family enjoyed dinner at the Grille. The place was kept very clean and all workers were wearing masks and gloves when handling our food/dishes and drinks. The food itself was amazing! They had a range of options and even had great options for kids. I had the chicken Cesar side salad and wrap! Amazing!

What a great Happy Hour! This place is a hidden gem. The food is very solid and the bartender is the best. Great place to watch a game, plenty of tv's for everyone to see their team play.

Drove in to Charleston a bit late and was looking to eat dinner. It was after 9pm and just about everything was closing except for King Street Grille. We were happy to find this place by using Yelp app. We both had burgers and a cocktail. Our meals and service were both very good.

This place does everything right! From the upper management (Tim) all the way to the end starting with attentive and wonderful service from appetizers through dessert we had a delicious meal! Cannot recommend King Street grille highly enough!!

I was extremely disappointed with my delivery order. I asked for the Swiss cheese to be substituted, totally ignored. Do not order the chicken beat with crab cake sandwich and fries. The best thing was the fries.

This restaurant lacks in service. Called three times no answer Fourth time they put me on hold and never came back The I was crazy enough to call Again and they told me that what I had seen I the website to order they never had I would not recommend

May 24, 2017 Had another great experience here. Burgers are half priced on Wednesday. Had two other couples with us this time. We all had great meals and the happy hour drink prices couldn't have been better. A very delicious and very affordable dinner out! Perfect!

Horrible experience. We went there on 6/2 around 8pm. First off the host seemed to be in a Horrible mood and acted like we were a bother. We did get a table right away and waited 20 minutes to even be acknowledged. We ordered drinks and an appetizer which came out fairly quickly but we were forgotten about. We eventually were able to order our meals and ignored again all drinks sat empty. When the waitress finally came over we asked for refills on empty drinks she asked " oh you all want refills" ......yes . Food was ok. My son's cuban sandwich was missing the sauce and pickles. Sorry but a bad experience all around. They were not that busy or short handed to justify such poor service or poopy attitudes.

Chicken an cheese nachos. Chips are super thin, there's no "bite" or crunch to it. Not a lot of cheese which is disappointing, otherwise it's average. Customer service is good

My wife and I visited there excited to try their chicken and crab sandwich. We were promptly seated and were never waited on. We waited for 20 minutes watching others get waited on. We finally got up and walked out. Not a great way to start visiting this area.

Menu consist of mostly bar food. Wings were just deep fried and had little to no seasoning. Quite bland actually Waitresses were inattentive and too busy cleaning tables and prepping to close Ordered Chicken parm sandwich with broccoli. Easy right. Not quite. It came out with waffle fries. The breading was too thick and did not adhere to the chicken. Difficult to eat. Brought out and dropped off by another waitress. I had to whistle to get our waitresses attention to ask her to correct it. After about ten minutes still no broccoli. Ask for the check and still no broccoli. Paid and left. Spoke with the manager and he was apologetic. Prices are high for the lack of service and quality of food. In my opinion the food is subpar for the prices.

Ordered my burger medium. It came out more than well done...burnt. server was nice but I still had to pay something I couldn't eat. Not good customer service. Guys cooking in the kitchen were maskless.

Always a great time when we go here. Tuesdays are 1/2 price salad days, but not doing that right now. Still 1/2 price drinks and bar apps. Service is always great and friendly staff. Kudos to you guys. Nice job taking care of your customers.

The food was delicious. We sat outside, they had a covered area set up with a fan it was quite toasty but it didn't take away from the experience. They did have inside seats but we opted to eat outside. The waitress was professional and kind. She was wearing a mask. She checked on us quite a bit even though we sat outside.
