★★★★★ Hideout is seriously the best new spot in downtown Charleston! The vibe is so fun, the drinks are amazing, and the staff is super friendly and attentive. They really make sure you’re having a great time. If you’re looking for a new go-to bar, this is it! Can’t wait to go back :)

As the Lead Concierge I HAD to go check it out! I had the best time! Nice vibes, beachy music and fresh sunlight at your fingertips. I had the smash burger and cheese fires! The smash burger had an unforgettable char that made me feel like I got the burger from a back yard BBQ! Nice flavor and atmosphere.

It was my first time at The Hideout since it was Barsa. My friends and I sat at the back bar. Bri was everything! She was attentive and helped told us her favorite drinks and shots. We loved her so much we came back the next night! This place is awesome!

One of a few places that have a pool table where the atmosphere isn’t too loud. I think it’s a great place to have a conversation with friends or coworkers; the menu is really tasty, and they even have a late night menu!

Such a great addition to King Street!! Vibes are exceptions, food delicious, drinks perfect. Not to mention I could sit and talk to the bartenders for hours. Must check it out!!!

Great spot to start my night. Very nice staff and great scenery. Right on upper king and not too far from everything. 10/10

Yelp
Such a fun vibe here. There's a pool table and two bars (inside and patio), with a Photo Booth outside. Tuesday's they have tacos made by Joey and they are some of the best I've ever had. There are two options - steak and chicken. The steak was so tender, juicy, and flavorful. The chicken was diced - tender and well seasoned. Beware of the verde sauce! My nose was running, lips burning (maybe I'm just a wimp) because it was so spicy lol. Steph and Joseph at the bar were attentive and welcoming! They have a DJ after 7pm. Definitely will be back for taco Tuesday!

Yelp
I went in with a few friends on a Thursday before it got too busy. Seems like a good spot that's out of the way of the main crowds of downtown. The space itself is a decent size. They offer live music on certain nights and the staff seemed nice. Drink prices are the same as the rest of Charleston.

Yelp
Was unsure what vibe to expect following the passing of the best happy hour downtown, Barsa. The outdoor area is still really cool, and the inside looks much the same (which is a compliment - clean and vibey, not overly lit). We ordered at the bar- the service was good and the food was good. Can't remember what we got so that's on me. There's a pool table inside which I am stoked about. Glad to have a neighborhood billiards joint. Late night menu (till 1am) Friday, Saturday and Sunday - was a much needed feature for middle king

Yelp
Live music lured us into the Hideout. It seemed to be a slower night. The bartender entertained our antics for too long. He was a great sport. The arugula shrimp salad my friend ordered smelled bright and crisp. I'll have to try it next time.

Yelp
I've been wanting to check this place out for a while and finally got the opportunity to on Taco Tuesday! It's an insanely good deal- $3 tacos, $5 margaritas. I ended up getting so much for the price of what I would pay for a regular drink anywhere else! The outdoor patio had a really cool vibe with cool little cabana like sitting areas along the back wall. Once the music got started the place was bumping! Service was fast and friendly.

Yelp
A new spot on King Street! This is going to be the bar of the summer and beyond! The vibe is upscale dive bar with a perfect blend of charm and sophistication. They have plenty of seating, a pool table, and a beer garden with cabanas. You can even rent out the cabanas VIP style with bottle service. It's the type of place where you can easily kick back with friends after work, but also feel comfortable in nicer attire. Now let's talk about the food. We had their smashburgers with fries. They were cooked perfectly with caramelized onions and bacon. I can't wait to go back to try their Blackened Mahi Sandwich! Each dish is crafted with fresh, quality ingredients, elevating comfort food to the next level. The drinks are amazing too. You can indulge in a nice cold beer, but don't sleep on their handcrafted cocktails. I personally had the Pink Dragon, it is a must with vodka, lemonade and dragonfruit. The bartenders are skilled and it shows! From the moment you walk, you're greeted with warmth and enthusiasm. The bartenders are personable and knowledgeable, quick to offer recommendations or strike up a conversation. It's evident they enjoy what they do. Overall King Street Hideout is a rare gem, where upscale meets dive bar, creating a space both inviting and indulgent. Whether you are grabbing a quick bite with friends or lingering over cocktails, this bar nails it on all fronts. If you're seeking a place with great food, great drinks, and even a greater vibe, this is it!

Yelp
Racist asf, I tried to get a drink, two bar tenders made eye contact with me multiple times and still turned their eye the other way, it was like i wasn't wanted/invited, it's 2025 and we still got racist mfs downtown king street‍. worst experience I've ever had

Yelp
My new favorite neighborhood spot! The music always matches the vibe and isn't so loud that you can't carry on a conversation. The staff and owner are so welcoming! Excited to try the food on my next visit :)

Yelp
Onion rings with the pub sauce were phenomenal. The music was also a vibe. Would recommend to anyone visiting!
