My experience is based on the happy hour, and I have to say it’s amazing! The happy hour menu and deals are hard to beat. The food was very good, and the drink prices can’t be matched. We arrived right when happy hour was starting, which was perfect, because it does get pretty crowded as it goes on. Service was solid the whole time, and we never felt rushed. Definitely worth checking out!

I had a great experience at King Oyster. Grace and Lauren were amazing, super friendly and attentive. I was seated right away, which was a nice surprise. The happy hour menu was both reasonable and satisfying, with great options to choose from. Everyone I interacted with was kind and welcoming, and the food was absolutely delicious. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Just discovered a fantastic new spot perfect for lunch and happy hour, especially if you love oysters! Their happy hour menu is incredibly affordable, letting you sample a wide range of delicious bites. Beyond the amazing oysters, I highly recommend the shrimp sliders, tuna tacos, and fried green tomatoes. We stopped in on a Friday evening for dinner in early July. The weather was nice so we sat on the outdoor patio. We don’t have a reservation and we didn’t have to wait however it was a holiday weekend. We were nearby and looked for a seafood restaurant in the area and this shows up on google. I have been to another location in Middleburg, VA and enjoyed the food there so I figured this would be good as well. Our server was with us shortly with water after we were seated. We shared the mussels - this was a generous portion size and the broth was very good. We had salads as well - the marinated Thai steak salad and shaved Brussels sprout salad with shrimp added. There was a little too much Parmesan in the Brussels sprouts - just my personal preference. The Thai steak was a little spicy but not overpowering. The salads were big portions as well. I would say we could have shared a salad instead of getting two with all the mussels we had. Since we were traveling we didn’t take any leftovers but we certainly could have. Our server was attentive and friendly - I don’t remember her name unfortunately. The atmosphere was laidback and relaxed. Prices were comparable to other seafood restaurants we have been to. Nothing outrageous. Check their socials and website for specials - there was a 50% off special on their mermaid tower the night we were there but neither of us like oysters enough to have that many. We parked on the street about a block away and there was no meter. This was a very good meal and we will likely check out the other locations when we are in those areas.

This is my 3rd time dining in here, the place is trendy, loud between the people mingling and the music being played, which is not annoying as it contributes to the good vibes that this place has, our server (new hire as I later find out), was quite good and extremely attentive despite the amount of people coming and going, the “Happy Hour” menu is fabulous from the $1 Fresh oysters to the $7 burgers, $5 Crab Sliders and both, the Salmon sliders and the Steam Mussels are amazing. Wine and cocktails are also part of the happy hour menu that runs ‘till 6:30 PM. Everything is fresh and delicious making it extremely tempting to come every evening after the office to come and enjoy it again and again!

The waiter was forgetful. We had to ask for things more than once. Employees should wear gloves when they bring food out. The first person’s hands were touching my fries when she put the plate down. I sent them back. They brought more out (less fries than the first time) & my fries were being touched again. I also saw the waiter grab a handful of lemons with his bare hands. I wish I saw that before I put one in my water. My friend said her wings were just ok & had a big piece of feather on them.

Expensive but amazing food. Oysters were excellent but the real show is the lobster rolls. This things are on another level. I recommend getting one hot and one cold because that will debate in ur head for the rest of your life as to why you did not try one or the other. Server we had was excellent as well. Came here to celebrate our friend’s birthday on a Sunday. We had reservations but still had to wait a couple of minutes. We had outdoor, beautiful scenery. It’s happy hours I think from 12-6:30pm. Gimlet was really good if you like sour drinks. Lobster rolls were OK. The service was good, even though I never got one of my orders. Everyone was nice and friendly.

I just love it here! The staff is super friendly. We have always been welcomed in with a smile. The corn and crab chowder is delicious every time -- all of the ingredients are on point (says my mom and my husband the trained chef). I like it too. I tried the king street chicken which comes on top of angel hair with arugula, tomato, onion, and mushroom. I don't usually eat mushrooms but it was delicious. My mom had the fish and chips. Good drinks too if you are in to that. Hey it's a neighborhood thing, so if you know you know.

Visited KSOB Potomac for happy hour which is 3-6 pm every day and I will say they have one of the best happy hour menus. I started with the oysters which were delicious I ended up ordering about 24 and they were only $1.50 each. I also had the chicken tenders which were so good because they were lightly breaded and well seasoned. Also had the crab cake sliders which again were delicious. They have outdoor seating in addition to a big bar area and it's a nice atmosphere to gather with friends or date night. My one issue was the service was extremely slow! It took over 30 mins just to get the first drink and I ordered a second and it never came. Overall I would recommend but just level set your expectations as far as the service goes.

Love this place. ambiance: Went for happy hour food and drinks on a Friday. Got there early to get a seat outside at the bar and lucked out with seats (I've seen this place packed when its nice out). food: Ordered a dozen house OYSTERS ($1.50), which is the cheapest I've seen in the early for a while, and the CHOP HOUSE BURGER ($9 hh; $14 reg) comes with fries. A good deal and tasty burger. You can remove any of the items of course. service: Wonderful as always. Both SHERMAN and IMAN were amazing company.They were easant, nice, quick to help. SHERMAN continues to make the experience worth it. Thank you, IMAN and SHERMAN! You are both wonderful! And I promise I can tell you apart! (if I don't, please remember my story ).

Great service, decent happy hour and great vibes. The oyster Rockefeller and crab stuff oysters were really good. The froze was really tasty as well.

Back again and still a very solid place to enjoy happy hour! Sat inside this time and loved the vibe and just noticed how many types of seating there were! From the outside seating for true al fresco dining on a nice day, to covered outside seating so you can still enjoy the outdoor view, to the inside bar area that's very bright with lots of daylight shining through and a window wall that can be opened up or closed up front, and to a more intimate dining area that's low-lit and more quiet. Most people were at the covered outside seating, which left the bar tables a great place during the weekdays to have a casual date and be able to enjoy a good conversation over drinks and snacks! Happy hour cocktails were good and had some oysters and crab cake sliders! All very tasty! Oysters were fresh and well cleaned! Service was great too and we appreciated the last call reminder for happy hour!

Very busy spot on M Street so I knew that the food & libations must be pretty good. It was very busy & noisy on Friday night...perfect for people watching while enjoying a special cocktail. I don't remember what I ordered but it was very good. The food was very good as well. The blue crab dip had generous chunks of lump crab meat. Our fried oysters and seafood pasta entree was very good as well.

King street was actually super classy. I wasn't expecting this kind of ambiance. The oysters were delicious and I ordered the west coast half dozen and only ate them with lemon. I'm trying to become an oyster aficionado but I'm failing terribly. Nonetheless, they were delicious and fresh! The lobster rolls were buttery even without the butter. I knew I would love the hot lobster roll. That was already a given but now I have a newfound appreciate for the cold lobster roll. They were both amazing really. The waitress was attentive and knew exactly when you come by and ask if we needed anything. That's a lost art nowadays. 9.5/10 might be unfair because of the lobster but hey, it's lobster.

We had a great time at happy hour on a Wednesday! The place was pretty busy particularly the outdoor tables since it was a nice day out. We enjoyed the Froze and Margarita along with a few oysters (I forgot to take a photo!), chicken tenders, spinach dip and bruschetta. All of these were under 10bucks during HH. Great deal! The oysters were my favorite! I'd love to return to try the full menu! I'll be back!

Great service. I have always been able to get a reservation as there are many table options - high top or regular table and inside or outside with heated lamps. I really enjoyed the cocktails and oysters. Did I mention the happy hour menu!!! Everything was satisfying!!

Hubby came for oysters and seafood and was not disappointed. I am vegetarians so I came because I am a good wife and I, also, was not disappointed! Love when that happens. Of course we start with cocktails. Coladas are for lovers is IT if you love a sweet drink, a tropical drink, or a drink that doesn't have and overwhelming alcohol flavor. Best drink on the menu IMO and one reason for me to go back. Hubby said the NY sour is different in a good way. Don't drink if you don't like egg white. Per hubby the Rockefeller oysters are great! No notes. This oyster house does oysters very well and, as we all know, that's not always the case. The Bruschetta comes with delicious bread. Not many seafood places care about that but these guys did. Great balsamic. Fresh tomatoes and basil. Now just leave out the onions and it's 5 stars. Onions don't belong in bruschetta and I say this as an onion lover. Hubby got seafood pasta which he devoured quietly -- always a good sign. It comes brimming with large chunks of seafood. Noodles are cooked al dente. Good sauce to noodle ratio. No complaints. As a vegetarian I did what I always do and made a meal of sides. That usually means going carb-wild. The Mashed potatoes were good! No need for extra anything. Can taste the bite from the chives and garlic. First time I didn't even need black pepper. The French fries are...fries. Skin on. Good. Not too salty. Skip both. The reason I say this is because you HAVE to get the Mac and cheese. You must. I did not expect what I got. Beautiful cheesy flavor, perfectly smooth textured sauce, not too dry and not soupy. Did not expect it to be so excellent. Forget the rest, just get that and a side salad to feel better about your life Along with that colada cocktail. WORTH every bite and I just would not think a seafood place would go so hard on Mac and cheese. We took the white chocolate bread pudding to go and hubby ate it before I could even try a bite. Quite pleased with himself for his thievery, too. Said it was worth risking my wrath so take that for what you will. Hubby would def come back for more oysters and at least this is one seafood place I can come with him and enjoy myself as well. Do I wish they had more than just sides for vegetarians? Sure, but that Mac is so good it might just make up for not having a main.

I've had King street oyster bar on my list for months as a sea-foodie and was finally able to visit with my cousin in law for a girls night. It's in nice area however, the interior was a bit cold and drafty. The Shanghai sea bass was the only thing I came for and surprisingly left me underwhelmed. I was so sure this dish would be a hit. It was not bad but it just wasn't what I expected. I also ordered the froze and it was pretty. I'd give that an 8/10. I'm glad I was finally able to experience this place. We also came on a Saturday and it seemed slow for a Saturday.

I love this place. Craving oysters? Come for happy hour. The wings are amazing as well. I haven't had a single dish that I didn't like here.

Trying to find parking at Park Potomac is always iffy. Thankfully, there's the garage which gives you 2 hours free. Of course, 2 hours flies by when there's a wait for a table. I think next time, I'll go AFTER happy hour is wrapped up at 6:30PM. The restaurant was crowded inside and out. My friend and I waited 30+ minutes for a table outdoors. But the tables that were covered and near the bar were so packed together. We ordered the shrimp bites, hush puppies and mac & cheese to start. Shrimp bites weren't what I was expecting. Little baby shrimp that are deep fried covered with a sweet sauce. Ok, but I don't think I'd order it again. Hush puppies were dense. Tasty. Mac & cheese was creamy, but soupy. I was expecting more cheesy. Friend ordered the trout. I had the seafood pasta. They were both ok. But would skip these next time. Had the sundae for dessert. It was a good one, but I've had better. Service was ok. Got the feeling that our server didn't really want to be there, but it was also 90 degrees outside. He made up for it by the end of dinner when I wanted coffee close to 9pm. He ended up making fresh coffee for me. Served it with french vanilla creamer. So I was good. Might be awhile before I go back to check out the oysters. Just too crowded for me right now.

Still a winner in my book. Great food, beautiful space with comfortable seating and lighting, amazing service by Robert during Happy Hour and beyond. The vodka gimlet tasted like a key lime pie in a glass - heaven!

We've gone to the one in Leesburg before but this was our first time going to the one in Potomac. Plenty of parking outside and plenty of tables inside. We ordered the bruchetta appetizer and a couple entrees. The clam pasta was a bit salty for me but everything else was seasoned pretty well. The staff were nice and checked in on us often.

I come here often for the oysters. Unfortunately our last trip on Friday was a horrible showing. The oysters not only went up in price, but the oysters were quite pathetic. We did order the smaller size ones and like I said we come here very often, our pathetic little oysters were almost translucent and when we complained the manager send 2 other ones just as pathetic as the last. I think this will be our last trip here. The waiter wasn't very friendly, the bus boy clean up our dishes before we were even done with our food. I'm so disappointed.

King st Oyster bar has a fantastic happy hour! We have gone a few times for a dozen oysters (not every oyster they carry is available for the happy hour price, just FYI) and champagne. The last time we went I ordered the happy hour bubbles and AFTER it was poured, they told me the sparkling was no longer on HH... but they still honored it, which was very nice. I'm not a fan of the wines they choose as their house wines, but still a great price. Put the bubbles back on! Their crabcake sliders are SO yum and only $8. The chicken tenders (weird thing to order at a seafood place but whatever) were AMAZING and hand breaded- SO GOOD. Also the tuna tacos are done with a radish as the shell which I had never seen before- but wow, so delicious! some of their cocktails are available for $7 (rather than $14 during regular hours) that were a big hit. I'm a fan and can't wait to go back and try some of the other menu items! Parking is easy, service is friendly (shout out to our bartender JC!) and the food is wonderful!

Been to King Street Oyster Bar in DC and loved it! Decided to try this location when I had friends in town. We opted to sit outside to dine and the vibes were great! Dim lighting and a covered patio provided the perfect comfort on a hot summer day. We ordered the chips and guacamole & the shrimp bites for appetizers. Both were delicious! My friends commented that it would be even better if there was an option for spicy guacamole that include jalapeños added to the menu. For entrees we all ordered the hot lobster roll. They give you big pieces of lobster and the fries that accompany the roll are addicting! 10/10 meal! Our only complaint was that the restaurant didn't sell bottled water. All of us agreed that we didn't like the taste of the tap water and would have really appreciated to option to purchase a bottle of water to have with our meal. I did also order a seasonal cocktail that had tequila and pineapple juice. It was perfectly smoky and well balanced. Highly recommend! Overall, our experience was good, the food is excellent and we will be back!

We came here for the happy hour and everything was great! Service was fast. The oysters were amazing and honestly nothing went wrong. The frose was very sweet but it was refreshing for a hot day. We went at the beginning of happy hour and there was a good crowd but it didn't slow down the staff. Not sure why this place has negative reviews but we loved it and will recommend it to others.

Wonderful food, great service and nice location. I was in the mood for some yummy food and a nice steak. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the impeccable menu. I will return for another great meal sometime in the near future!

I visited King Street Oyster Bar for their happy hour (HH), and overall it was good. From the standpoint of their oysters, the HH menu offers KSOB house oysters for $1 each, which is not bad at all. The oysters are offered with a selection of delicious condiments, and this was the highlight of my visit. The HH menu offers a lot of other food for discounted prices, including chicken wings, calamari, Peruvian style ceviche, tuna tacos ... And from what I saw from other tables, they were all pretty popular. I was a little disappointed with the cocktails. The Should Be Illegal was a Mezcal based drink with mango and coconut, but tasted more like juice than a cocktail. Overall tho... It was a good experience, enough that I would consider going for dinner. The staff were all very friendly, and the drinks and food came out quickly - which is always a plus.

As far as ambiance this establishment has a nice Bar and open seated area with views of the TVs and the exposed kitchen. There is a nice nook of tables for a more intimate dining experience. My wife and I came out around 7 on a Sunday night. The food came out quick and the waiters knew the menu and were great with recommendations. The raw oyster selection was great. We tried all cooked oysters. The Rockefellers hit the spot. The charbroiled were amazing. We were recommended to try the seafood pasta which was well balanced. My wife got the Shanghai Sea Bass which was cooked perfectly and the sides complemented the fish. 4.4/5 stars!

Oooh Love the seafood pasta!!! I've been dreaming about it and plan to go back soon. Service was excellent our waiter whose name I've forgotten (it was late at night) was extremely good!!!

Parking is a little crazy here so good luck. I came to rant and rave over the happy hour! Bomb! They implemented a new pay as you go policy when you order because of all the scammers. If you planned j going to be on fraudulent activity stay away. Our server was ok we caught her sitting down a few times while we were there. You can get the most bang for your buck for happy hour so try it out.

Had a reservation for Valentine's Day at 5:45 PM. The lights were dim and the tables were spaced out well. The restaurant was very clean and neat. My wife and I were seated right away with no issues. Server approached us soon after we were seated and he served us water our water quickly and handed our menus. Great service and very communicative. The Happy Hour items (Crispy Calamari, House Punch, KSOB House Oysters) were definitely worth the prices. The calamari was great, but the pieces were quite small and the breading fell off quite easily, a bit too oily as well. The House Punch was great, also ordered a House Mule, and it was delicious. Great amount of alcohol too, definitely get a drink here for happy hour. Oysters were really great $1 for 3. Fish and chips were pretty good. The fish was well cooked and crispy, and definitely flavorful and delicious, the fries were the okay. It was somewhat too soggy and not seasoned well. I would come here again for only the happy hour. Happy hour menu was definitely the winner of tonight.

I've been here a few times and each time I've gone, it's always been a pleasant experience overall. Came in for happy hour with a friend - I love that their HH ends at 6:30 (a little later than most other places!). We sat at the bar and were helped by the bartender Devon. Let me just start by saying he's great! He was attentive to our needs and friendly. Sometimes the bar tends to get busy at times, but what stuck out to me was that this time around, we didn't feel rushed to leave which was nice. I ordered my usual: house punch, crispy calamari, crab cake sliders and decided to splurge a bit and got the bread pudding (forgot to take a picture before digging in haha). The sliders are my favorite item to order. For $7 you get 2 sliders but it's packed with flavor and totally worth it- my friend had 2 orders of them. I think they're on Hawaiian rolls so that definitely adds to it. The calamari was cooked well (not over cooked where it felt like rubber but truly crispy) and the dipping sauce was yummy. Now the bread pudding was okay. I think it was a bit too sweet for my liking but still pretty tasty! In the past I've had a burger and po boy here - both of which were also delicious! The parking can get a little crazy sometimes but I think coming here makes it worth it each time.

Love love love coming here. Best place for oysters in my book! And one of the best happy hours around. It's always a fun time here. Laughs good food and drinks. A great place to hang out and just chill with friends. I love this location better than the one in DC. The one in middleburg, VA is also nice too. But it is something about Potomac. The couple next to us was so friendly. We were sharing food tips of what to order. Basically we tried just about all appetizers lol!! And of course I had oysters. Our waitress Shermine was soooooo awesome

We came here as a rather large group for dinner and to celebrate a family birthday. The service we received wasn't quite up to par, but after talking with Chris, the GM, he apologized and assured us he would handle that. As for the food, it was great! All of the dishes we got were plated nicely and very tasty, made with fresh ingredients, which is what we've come to expect from King Street Oyster Bar locations. The location is easy to get to from Rockville, the Beltway, or 270 and I'd definitely suggest giving them a try! We'll most definitely return!

While we like this place especially Imam at the bar, I have to say that if you have a crab cake on the menu, make it worth the price tag. Go to G&M, Pappas or Olive Grove for an 8 0z sandwich with a side for under $30. Your crab cake, my friends was sub par.

I had the absolute pleasure of trying King Street a few Sundays ago with some friends and they did not disappoint! My suggestion, go for happy hour. This location has daily HH with $7 app specials. The blue cheese chips were light and crisp with the best tasting aioli on top. The blue cheese was fresh and creamy. If you like savory, crunchy snacks this is a must try. The salmon sliders come in twos for happy hour and were well seasoned and light. The salmon was perfectly cooked. I have tried raw oysters and, while i can eat one or two, they aren't usually my go to order. I tried the chargrilled (or charbroiled i can't remember ) and can safely say this is my new favorite way to eat them! Nice and warm with butter, fresh garlic and herbs. Yum Last but certainly not least were the Tuna Tacos. These were the smallest but most flavorful dish of the night! They are made on a radish, topped with guacamole and we could not get enough. Put this place on your MUST TRY list right away. Thank me later.

Highly recommend coming here for Happy Hour, which is everyday from 3-6:30 pm. They have $7 cocktails, $1.25 raw oysters and other food for under $10. Last time I was there, I got the House Punch -- fruity, delicious and strong! The raw oysters were fresh and came with tasty condiments. I also tried the fried oysters which were good, but unfortunately, the side of fries were not crispy. i would come back again for the cocktails and the raw oysters.

This place will be on my go-to list for sure especially with happy hour everyday for $1 oysters?! Yea totally coming back for that. I've been here last year and it also didn't disappoint. The dishes so far have been great with just enough seasoning. I also tried the biscoff old fashion with slight hesitation but it worked. Service was great and the ambiance just as good. A recommend!

Had a great dinner for 2. Tried the house punch cocktail - delicious. Had 1/2 dozen raw oysters (served with 2 different mignonettes, cocktail sauce and hot sauce), charbroiled oysters (really good), oyster po boy and the crab cake sliders. All were delicious. Parking can be tough. Staff is friendly and attentive - it looks like chaos when they are busy but all the parts keep running smoothly. Prices are appropriate - better during the daily 3-630 happy hour.

My family and I had a great time. The food was great and the service was wonderful. My wife and I agree that we would 100% come back.

Bait and Switch We had a confirmed 6 pm reservation for two at an outside table. Was a little surprised when we got it because most restaurants in this area won't take reservations for outdoor seating on a Friday or Saturday night. But now we know why this restaurant did. They didn't honor our reservation and I don't believe ever intended to We arrived a few minutes early and saw 4-5 empty 4 tops outside. The hostess said it would be a few minutes so we went outside to wait. At about 6:05 a young man came out and said he could seat us right away inside or we would have to wait for one of the very few two tops outside to open up. We asked him about the empty four tops and he said the manager wants to save those for parties of four. I get not wanting to lose a four top to two people but not when the party of two has a reservation for that area at that time and there aren't that many other larger parties waiting I don't believe the manager ever intended to honor our reservation. We ended up sitting inside. As we left I approached the manager I told him how disappointed we are that they did not honor our reservation and I told him what the young man told us about the manager not wanting to lose the four tops and the manager denied it. I call BS and told him so because the young man even agreed when he sat us that it wasn't right and pointed out the manager and asked if wanted to talk to him. Why would he offer to have us talk to the manager if it wasn't true? (We declined to avoid a scene and I approached the manager as we left) Bottom line is it is unfortunate that a restaurant would do this and worse that the manager would deny, lie and try to throw a young employee under the bus Even worse for the restaurant, we only had one drink each and an appetizer. Instead of relaxing outside and having a few drinks and dinner our bill was probably 1/3 of what it might have been. Oh and as we left we saw at least 3 open 4 top tables.

You know why we're here. It's for happy hour or brunch. The slides are amazing, start there. Drinks, keep them coming. Servers are ok, but the bartenders keep the party going. It's tight inside and outside, but it popular. You get it.

My friends and I come here often for the $1 oysters and the drink specials. There are also other really good food deals on the Happy Hour menu. You could get a whole burger and fries for under $10. My favorite are the ahi tuna tacos. They replace the tortilla with a slice of watermelon radish: low carb and esthetically pleasing.

Great, yet trendy, spot in Park Potomac. The food here is really good and the bartenders pour great drinks. The place is loud though - really loud. My recommendation is hit the bar for happy hour and sit outside. The happy hour menu is a sampling of some of their best for a fraction of the daytime pricing.

Came during Happy Hour! Really nice interior and ambiance. Came on a Thursday afternoon and we were quickly seated! $1 oysters for Happy Hour are a STEAL! Slurped two dozen of these! Would also recommend the ceviche and fried calamari as well! For drinks, the Frosé slayed! Will be coming again!

Came with a group for happy hour and we had a great time. We went on a weekday and it was busy, so I'm sure it is even busier on weekends (reservations recommended for the weekend). We ordered KSOB $1 oysters, wings (didn't try), chicken tenders, calamari, and ceviche. Oysters were on the smaller side, and some were still a little dirty, but worth it for the price. We got two rounds of oysters. Chicken tenders can be skipped: there's only two small pieces and nothing special about them. Calamari was good, small but crispy. Ceviche was ok. I got the daily cocktail and it was good. There's outdoor and indoor seating. Service was good and our waiter was attentive.

The family and I got a mix of dine in and take out from here (take out for those who were at home) and the food was awesome in the restaurant and travelled well for those at home waiting for it! Happy hour has some delicious specials for a great price if you're interested. That night we had a mix of oysters, salads, pasta, you name it, and all were a delight. The service was great, and the ambience and location are too. Love that it's easy to park, and that it is a convenient and close place to eat! Can't wait to go back next time.

The food was decent! I wished the charbroiled oysters and a bit more of broil to them and came with bread. The ceviche and the dip were great. I found the Asian shrimp salad to be delicious!!! It was my favorite food item out of all the dishes. One thing I did find odd was the taste of water at this restaurant. It had a very chemical heavy taste to it. Our service was good although they were busy so we had to wait for a bit to get menus and water to our table. But I would definitely go back for the shrimp salad.

Really awesome happy hour. Just bustling with atmosphere and vibes. Everybody was happy to be there and that made it so fun! Drinks are only $7 during happy hour and they're really great too. Service was a bit slow but it was super duper busy so not too surprised or upset.

This is a nice spot to try. The food was pretty good but if I go back it would be for the froze. The atmosphere is very nice and the service was good. I had gumbo and oyster po'boy. The food was reasonably priced and everything had a good taste but nothing that made me say OMG. Two of my friends had the brussels sprout salad with salmon, and they both said it was amazing. I did try the crab dip and that was tasty . Its worth a try the bar is nice it's double sided so you could sit in the restaurant or out on the patio

Another enjoyable visit to the King Street this past weekend. We had a reservation and we're seated immediately. And within a couple minutes, our server Lia was at our table offering us water and drinks. As always, the food was excellent, and the service was outstanding! Lia came back to check on us many times during our meal, she has a great personality and is a pro server! It was also great seeing one of our favorite servers there, Colin, we chatted with him briefly and also were help by another great server Peyton. Keep up the great work KSOB, we will be back

My brother had never tried raw oysters before so we decided to stop by here during their happy hour to try some! Happy hour oysters are $1 each, sold in sets of 3, so we got 3 oysters ($3). We also ordered the calamari and crab cake sliders for $7 each, and if I didn't need to drive, those drink prices were attractive too! The oysters came with a nice variety set of items to eat them with, and he said he liked them! (I didn't order any because I don't really like raw oysters.) He said he'd get more in the future for sure. The calamari was delightfully fried-that is to say, the batter was very thin and flavorful, and I loved the dip. The crab cake sliders were SO good, I want to go back just to eat more crab cake. The remoulade was excellent and slightly different than others I've had (in a great way). I feel like I've gotta come back for their other dishes!!

We always have an amazing time at King Street oyster bar in Potomac. I ordered the gumbo which is consistently flavorful with lots of sausage, rice, and chicken. I love the shrimp Asian salad with the dressing on the side. My fiancé loves the piccata chicken and happy hour hamburgers. Always a great scene great weight stuff and a great chef.

After a day of Christmas shopping food was calling... oyster, I'm there. This spot wants crowded, seated right away. Keep in mind where they seat you you will be close to (feels like on top of) another party. Some must tries, definitely go for the shrimp bites. A great choice shrimp with spice, you can't go wrong. If you're a grilled oyster fan you can't go wrong with the charbroiled. The best out of the options. For the entrees there's a lot of great choices but the seafood pasta and Jambalaya hands down great flavors.
