Kingfisher Retreat by Sharjah Collection

I have booked the premium one-bedroom tent that was recommended by the staff as it was newly added and the pool was temperature-controlled. I would like to first thank all the staff members for the great hospitality and amazing experience. The tent was clean, spacious and no mosquitoes on site! The pool being temperature-controlled is a huge plus during our cold winter. The food was great (In room dine) and the service was phenomenal. I highly recommend the Kingfisher Resort for a getaway from the bustling city center, as Kalba is more on the quiet side. The beach was clean and private to the resort. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, and I would definitely come back again, إن شاء الله.

I had a great staycation at Kingfisher retreat. I enjoyed the calm & cozy atmosphere. I want to thank Maher for supporting me throughout my stay & checking in. Everyone was friendly & helpful. They’re flexible with allowing visitors & its ok if someone wants to stay over. You have the option to deliver in if needed. I loved walking through the mangroves. My only observation was that the pool was very cold but I was informed that other pools have heater & you can always ask them while booking.

Stayed at the place for one night and it was a last minute plan and it was an amazing experience. The service was great and the employees were extremely helpful and friendly. The food was ok but expected it to be much better. The experience was great however it would be amazing if there were more activities such as paddle and/or tennis court, maybe indoor activities such as ping pong, karaoke etc. The landscape was beautiful however we expected an out-of-this-world experience. In the sense that one would disconnect completely from the city life. And this could be done by adding trees all over which helps with blocking the view of the city.

Kingfisher is definitely one of the best staycations we’ve had since moving to Dubai. The property is gorgeous, located within the Khor Kalba reserve, so it’s possible to observe the beautiful nature around the mangroves as well as sunbathe in a secluded beach. The hotel assigned Maher to drive us around the property in a golf cart during our stay and he was fantastic, super friendly and attentive. We had a private heated pool in our room and two bikes to explore the surroundings on our own. There was a bonfire in the common area near the restaurant, which btw was delicious. An unforgettable weekend!

The accommodation and service were exceptional. The lodges were beautifully decorated, offering privacy and a touch of luxury with stunning sea views. The staff consistently went above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay. However, the evening buffet fell slightly short of a five-star standard. If we were to return, we’d likely opt out of the half-board option and instead use the additional cost for the à la carte menu. Overall, it was a wonderfully relaxing experience that I would recommend.

Special thanks to Mr.KD for teaching us Archery for the first time and it was a great experience. Moreover, thank you Mr.Harris for taking a good care of us and in making sure we are happy and enjoying our stay to the Max.

What an amazing experience! Everything was absolutely perfect, the hotel, the location, the staff…. Everything!! We booked a two bedroom tent, which was spacious, clean, and beautifully designed. The private swimming pool overlooking the sea made it even more special. The food was extraordinary, and we truly appreciated the staff's support and professionalism throughout our stay. Highly recommended ✅

Place is nice and all but honestly not worth the money at all… paid 5k for 1 night with only dinner included . Bikes are deflated, food is mediocre at best with very little options, pillows are very uncomfortable, and super limited activities that are already extra charge. At checkout we find out that we could have an availed an offer that was not mentioned when we booked and they refused to give us as we should have asked ourselves at time of booking. Staff are nice and rooms are safari style rooms but not the high end that is sold to us. Honestly very disappointed and left with a sour feel.
