3 Houston Restaurant Closures to Know Right Now, October 2024 | Eater Houston

"In the Heights, German-fusion beer hall King’s Bierhaus closed in September after seven years, with owners citing repeated weather disasters and lengthy power outages that made sustainable operations impossible; after more than a week without power the owners shifted to counter service but ultimately ceased operations and say they are exploring an agreement with their landlord." - Brittany Britto Garley

King’s BierHaus’ League City Location Boasts 25 German Beers on Tap | Eater Houston

"A large German beer hall from KB Restaurant Group is opening in League City at 828 W. FM 646. The 11,000-square-foot venue features the same gourmet sausages customers expect, 25 German taps plus about a dozen craft beers, and a selection of wine and whiskey. It includes a 5,000-square-foot patio and is designed for game watches and co-working, with ample space for live music, Oktoberfest celebrations, trivia nights, and Bavarian pig roasts. We love German food. This is one of the few options we have found in Houston. The atmosphere is great and the servers are really helpful! The food is average at best.. We were there for All you can eat sausage in August. There are a lot of different options but it takes a while to get more sausage. We will keep looking for our favorite.

I always pass this place up and decided to try it out with my sister. This place ROCKS. Good weekly deals, ALOT of beer for a decent price. This place is definitely different from your usual restaurants! You can taste the authenticity here. I told my Dad, Mom, Brother, and anyone else who has ears. We are DEFINETLY coming back.

We loved the original, this place is still great! We love to sit on the patio when they have live music! Sometimes you get lucky and the owners are there enjoying the patio as well! It's a great vibe! The food is amazing! And the staff is always excellent!

King’s BierHaus never disappoints. The atmosphere is lively, the food is legit Bavarian comfort, and the service goes above and beyond. Shoutout to Jesus he got me a beer straight from Germany and it was perfect. If you want great vibes, great food, and even better beer, this is the place to go. Highly recommend! 🍺🇩🇪

The music was at a good volume. The pretzel was warm & delicious. I also had the slated Carmel bread pudding. Mia was friendly & helpful. She knew how to describe the German items.

The set up and decor down to the uniforms had me feeling like I could be in Germany even though I've never been there. Eric was an amazing server. He answered our questions easily, made some great alcohol suggestions. The food was cooked to perfection. I will for sure visit agsin.

A nice area to chill indoors or out and enjoy some German focused foods and brews. They weren't able to handle the spike in customers for Octoberfest. Nothing against the servers, more the management to help get food and brews out to customers waiting.

Its Wednesday and they waitress sugessted the chicken schnitzel sample platter that’s usually $55 was only $20 for the Wednesday special. I got it to try and share with my husband and friend. It blew my expectations out of the water. Every single one was absolutely delicious. The pizza one was just like the best chicken Parmesan I’ve ever had. Even the plain schnitzel was delicious. Now it would be hard to choose which one I would get when I come back. Our waitress was super nice and helpful. Didn’t really give water refills or pre bus but it was still a delightful experience
