You just can’t resist corkage-free seafood! The oysters were incredibly fresh and served without shells. The tacos were also delicious. The cioppino had a strong fish stock flavor — which I enjoyed. The fact that they allow corkage-free wine is a huge plus for me! And after the meal, they even brought out warm towels. Such a thoughtful touch.

I was really looking forward to getting a seat this time, because before I had to wait for an hour and I gave up but I didn't expect that I was disappointed. The fried calamari and clam chowder appetizers were good . but the main course was terrible. The fish and chips $26 were just warm. The waiter brought back to kitchen and made it again , but second time was still warm, just a little bit hot than before. but it was not delicious anyway . My salad, butter lettuce tasted old because it was not fresh, bacon was hard, shrimp was not fresh $26. I would like to say that the reviews are not true or the restaurant quality has declined.

I tried the lobster roll and the miso sea bass here. The lobster roll was decent—the lobster meat was fresh and came in large pieces. The bread was soft, though I’ve had more flavorful versions elsewhere in the Bay Area. The sauce was quite light, so overall the flavor felt a bit mild for my taste. The miso sea bass was a pleasant surprise. The portion was bigger than I expected, and it came with some vegetables and a bowl of rice. It was nicely cooked and tasted good. The restaurant environment was comfortable and nicely set up, which made the overall experience enjoyable.

This was the second time visiting this location. My son loves the one in Burbank. My initial visit a couple of years ago was not so good, poor service and they got my order wrong. Very different experience this time. Service was a little slow, some of that was due to our group not all getting there in time. Food was fairly tasty, especially the buccatini shrimp dish I had. All the others in my group got a dish off the grill, no complaints. I especially like the no cirkage fee policy. Will try this place again with the family.

Ate dinner on Saturday night. Meal was hot and tasty. With a reservation we were seated pretty quickly. We had Jessica (Jess) as a server and she was friendly and attentive. Appreciate how quickly our appetizer came as we thought about the main entrees. Kudos to Jess on celebrating a birthday at the table with a tasty key lime pie. The meal was hot and the service was attentive. Would recommend coming again.

Such a fun and delicious spot to eat with a group. I had only been to the Calabasas location, but this one didnt disappoint. The oysters were fresh, the new Orleans shrimp, which is always a go to if you like some spice, was perfect, and to finish off the meal try their buttercake for dessert.

King's Fish House is our all time favorite place for seafood. It's got a relaxed, coastal vibe, nothing too fancy, but definitely not basic. The kind of spot where you can roll in with the fam, have a chill dinner, and still feel like you're treating yourself. Now let's get to the highlight: the Chilean sea bass. Absolute game changer. It's our family's go-to dish, like someone always orders it, and everyone else ends up sneaking bites. The texture is unreal, so tender it basically melts in your mouth and the flavor is buttery, rich, and delicious. You can tell they use top-quality fish, and they don't mess with it too much. It's cooked perfectly every time, with just the right amount of seasoning to let the fish shine. Total comfort food, but elevated. The rest of the menu holds its own too such as fresh oysters, solid sushi, and really good cocktails if you're in the mood to sip something while you wait. Service is always friendly and on point, which just adds to the good vibes. Bottom line: King's is the kind of place you keep coming back to. It's reliable, delicious, and that Chilean sea bass, OMG Worth every bite

Google
The food is okay. There was something really hard in the clam chowder and hurt my tooth. The beer battered fish and chips taste too bitter. The fried calamari is way too dry. (as shown in the picture)tastes like rubber. The oyster had too much small pieces coming off the shell and you cannot get rid of it when you eating the oyster. The service is not good. The waitress handed over a malted vinegar saying that should go with the fish and chips. However she took it away without saying anything when there were still 2 pieces left(total is three). Not recommended.

Yelp
We come here for the fresh oysters, but the calamari is pretty good, too. The Tuna Melt would've been perfect but for the rye bread over saturated with butter. (I prefer my bread not to drip, TBH.) The Mojito Verde was a lot of ice, but done well. Great service!

Yelp
I came here for an Anniversary dinner and had a great meal. It was super easy to book a reservation via open table, and we were able to get parking really easily on a Thursday night around 7pm. The restaurant was well decorated with a nice ambiance. It was pretty inviting and casual and good for different occasions. We ordered the 1st mate seafood platter, the chilean sea bass from the grill with brussel sprouts and corn as sides, and an additional order of oysters for our dinner. I'd say the seafood platter was super solid and felt like really great value for what you get so I highly recommend it! There is a mexican sea bass and chilean sea bass, but I also recommend the chilean version even though it's pricier because of its melts in your mouth texture. The flavors of the sides were really good, although the portions were smaller than I had expected for a place like King's Fish House. The brussels sprouts had great flavor, but it seems like they used a older brussels sprouts, so they texture ended up being quite chewy and tough unfortunately. Overall I had a good dining experience, but I was a little disappointed that they didn't really acknowledge the fact that we were celebrating our anniversary by putting us in a nicer section of the restaurant or at least say something about it despite it being part of my reservation notes.

Yelp
*First time review, dined at restaurant* We went on a Friday midday right at lunch hour (noon). Parking was easy because of the time so that was nice! I like this location because it's in a nice area by Tiffany's, Gucci etc. felt clean and had a nice outdoor area. I really liked our waiter! Wish I grabbed his name. This place is ~$40 a dish so I'm going to rate them a bit harsher than I would for a mom and pop shop or a $$ sign place. Swordfish - 5/5 I loved it!!! My partner has the swordfish and it was cooked perfectly. Thick juicy piece and charred nicely. Halibut - 3/5 it was overcooked (see photos). Taste was ok but definitely could have been better if not overcooked. Mashed potatoes - 5/5 dangggg these were good!!! They're garlic mashed potatoes but not overly garlicky. Was also happy that they pureed them vs leaving the skin on. Perfect amount of butter and cream. Missing them already lol Mac n cheese - 0/5 absolutely horrific. No cheese taste, no cream, dry, undercooked noodles... I'd rather eat Kraft Mac n cheese. Pls don't even bother with this dish. Asparagus 4/5 - nicely seasoned with balsamic and olive oil, cooked nicely but just a tad soggy hence the 4/5. Calamari - 3.5/4 - good but strange we had to get it with cocktail sauce and tarter. No lemon cake with it. Was ok taste but rather chewy. TLDR: do not get the mac n cheese, try the swordfish and sit outside if you can. Nice place!

Yelp
We were celebrating a special occasion and decided to splurge on the Captain Shellfish Platter and it was amazing! It looks great on the way to your table and each item was delicious. The clam chowder was also fantastic and the calamari was some of the best I'd ever had. Everything was very fresh and the service was fast. I wasn't sure what to expect at first just because this place is right outside the mall but it's absolutely worth coming to for a special occasion. I will say that of course it was very expensive, but well worth it.

Yelp
I've been here multiple times and this restaurant has really fresh seafood. The ambiance is casual fancy but with a cozy feel to it. The service was great and the food was delicious. I always get the oyster sampler when I come here because it's a great way to taste differnt types of oysters they have at the restaurant. We got the clam linguine and it was very delicious. The clams were fresh and the sauce was Flavorful. The cioppino is also a new favorite. It has Dungeness crab in it and taste great with the bread. Will definitely come back.

Yelp
I really enjoyed my meal here Sunday afternoon, got a spot at the bar right away with no resy. The bartender who served us had good vibes, i like the laid back ness and slower pace here than some restaurants. We got the bowl of clam chowder and a caesar salad to start then the sea bass came way later which is kind if liked. Enjoyed a moscal mule and bf got a beer. The ambiance was good and the food was very good. Not too much dressing on caesar salad and generous cheese shavings, the clam chowder was very good with lots of clam, the black cod was delicious along with the sauce and veggies. Will def be back!

Yelp
4.5 stars King's is one of our family's favorite restaurants. I just wish it wasn't located at Valley Fair, since it takes extra time to park in the lot and walk over to the restaurant. But, we really like how they have both indoor and outdoor seating. The patio is great and they have heat lamps, so you don't have to worry about being cold. Our daughter loves the mac and cheese, fresh bread and butter, and the kids menu which has fun activities and tattoos! One suggestion is for them to change the menu every so often but otherwise our daughter loves it. Oh, and kids get a cute reusable cup. We have enjoyed their salads, fish tacos, crab, and seafood pasta. The food always tastes fresh and everything is good quality. And you can never go wrong with warm sourdough bread :D This is a great place for families but also for large parties and special occasions. It's located in the newer part of VF, so you can take a stroll afterwards and get ice cream or dessert from Eataly!

Yelp
I visited King's Fish House on Tuesday, 4/30/24, around 7 PM for dinner. I decided to order the following: *1/2 Dozen of Laguna Bay Oysters (Laguna Manuela, MX) *Bowl of New England Clam Chowder *Cioppino with Dungeness Crab First and foremost, the oysters were extremely fresh in quality. I loved the sides of sauces/vinaigrettes that came with oysters. The Clam Chowder was palatable. It tasted even better with a dash of pepper. Lastly, the Cioppino was truly flavorful. The variety of seafood was lovely and the slightly spicy saffron broth brought the entire dish together. The highlight for the night was my server, Kim. She was very attentive, personable, and friendly. My dining experience was even better because of her fantastic hospitality. Overall, I enjoyed the tasty food, wonderful service, and beautiful ambiance. I highly recommend visiting King's Fish House.

Yelp
I come here often and their service has progressively gotten a lot worse at the reception. The receptionist was an Asian woman who had an attitude already upon greeting us, and proceeded to seat us with the same attitude. It also took a really long time for us to get to get seated... the three stars is purely for the horrible service at the reception. The food, however, is still really good, I really enjoy the oysters and the scallops as per usual. The carpaccio also tastes very good. The outdoor seating is very relaxing and aesthetic as well.

Yelp
Came here to celebrate my middle's bday and we had the WHOLE fam to celebrate!! What a great place to celebrate. Am planning to bring my dad here now to celebrate his special day!! :) We ordered quite a bit - family style as we all like to try a lot of different foods rather than stick with one dish and I'm SO happy we did!! First off I will say we had reservations - and we had to wait a bit in the bitter cold. They had a heater in front but it wasn't lit and I will have to say - the hostess didn't have the nicest resting face nor demeanor. NO SMILES, no pleasantries - just take a name and wait. I'd say she had a resting scowling face. Not someone you'd WANT to go up to and talk to. Even after waiting 10 minutes AFTER our reservation time - she wasn't very nice. I'm thinking maybe not have her in the front of the house? It started our evening a bit off putting given we were so excited to try this place AND celebrate a birthday. BUT our server Chloe took SUCH good care of us inside that she luckily made the light come out of the doom... :) We started off with drinks for the "kids" - ok... "young adults"... they had the GL Silverado, Cruzan Cocktail and GL Licia Albarino. They all seemed to enjoy and that helped them warm up a bit from waiting outside in the cold! Birthday middle only request was oysters and lobsters... go figure given mom and dad are paying but no holding back for the "kiddos"!! SO we got half dozen of the fanny Bay and half dozen of the Kumamoto - both were DELICIOUS and AMAZING. It comes with their classic mignonette, habanero relish, cocktail sauce & freshly grated horseradish. Was PERFECT starter and would have gotten more but we ordered quite a bit so were pacing ourselves!! Their Grilled Octopus Caponata WAS SO GOOD!! One of the best that we've had. So tender with so much flavor. Comes with eggplant, olives, capers, and tomatoes. Squeeze that lemon on top and BAM - so much flavor!! A decent size too for an appetizer!! OH and one of the HIGHLIGHTS for me was their roasted beet salad! OMG what made it SO SPECIAL was the goat cheese that was melted on the bottom of the salad - so every bite had the creamy delicious goat cheese. Then the most delicious ROASTED golden AND red beets with toasted pecans all tossed with the most amazing grapefruit red wine vinaigrette. I honestly contemplated asking for another order just for me!! A MUST order if you like beets. The fact that they roasted it - and it wasn't just "cooked" made each of the beet flavors come out - golden and red are so different and it was highlighted for sure!! My ask was to try their New England Clam Chowder - every seafood place I go to I always try their clam chowder and theirs was pretty much on top - not overly creamy - lots of flavor - could have had more clams but then again we were sharing so who knows how much was in there by the time it got to me! LOL But I was the one who wiped the bowl clean!! My youngest recommended the Miso Yaki Wild Chilean Sea Bass that came on top of baby bok choy and shimeji mushrooms. OK this one was a hit with EVERYONE and was tiny so everyone literally only had a bite but it was the most delicious lovely bite EVER! Along with the bak choy and mushrooms - a PERFECT bite. My mouth is watering just remembering the bite!!! My youngest also had us try their tuna melt... not your typical tuna melt for sure... It's their "World Class" Tuna Melt which is comprised of albacore tuna confit (chunks of tuna) on a grilled rye along with tomatoes and sharp cheddar cheese. It came with fries. It was surprisingly good. It's like a ahi sando that has been slow cooked but it was different twist with the buttered toasted rye bread and that cheddar cheese. I like it a lot. Good to at least try once... So the birthday middle got her wish and got the Wild South African Lobster Tails (2) along with mac and cheese and cauliflower that was drizzled with the most tasty lemon tahini sauce! Now I have to say - THEY KNOW how to cook lobster tails - it the most juicy, tender, flavorful lobster tail and they were BIG lobster tails!! So glad she wanted them - we definitely LOVED it... And they served the birthday middle with a bread pudding to celebrate and I was very impressed with the bread pudding. You get quite a bit and it was light and delicious and not overly sweet! A GREAT way to end this wonderful birthday celebration that started a bit bumpy but ended with a huge positive delightful and happy BANG!! Can't wait to come back and try more dishes. THANK YOU Chloe for making the dinner so special!!

Yelp
I think I had much higher expectations for this place than it lived up to. It just seems like a little bit of an overpriced visit for food that is pretty normal. We had the oysters, and no real complaint there--I'm a huge oyster lover. Despite having a huge menu, none of the main dishes sounded super attractive to me, and when our food arrived, my original impression stuck. Nothing we got was amazing. Everything was passable, but a bit more than I would've wanted to pay for it. Oh well, it's the Valley Fair price tag, I guess. Overall I thought it was a fine place to visit, service was good, and it is a good place to hang out with friends, but I wouldn't go all that way just for this. It just wasn't the most impressive seafood place that I've been to in the Bay Area.

Yelp
Came here to celebrate my graduation with my family! We came in around 2-3pm and they weren't too busy and finding parking wasn't too difficult. As for the food we started with oysters, I can't remember which ones they were since they offered a variety but it was delicious! The sauces were amazing! The food was good, I can't say how the other entrees were for my party members but my cioppino was solid. The restaurant was super chic, modern, and casual.

Yelp
I have been thinking about going to Kings Fish House and I did. I got the salmon and I have to say it was some of my top, it was crispy but yet soft and delicious in the inside. I also got the Mac n cheese which was passable, fresh spinach, and the salads were great and green, especially the chicken was crispy. Our server was nice and helpful and even gave us fresh sourdough bread to take home and it was fresh and hot, absolutely great. The ambience was pretty cool inside looking like a cool boat with the anchors and fish but the outside was modern and nice close to the nature. But for real food, there isn't many options for non seafood eaters but is definitely worth it.

Yelp
Terrible first impression with the host. Came here for lunch on Memorial day and was surprised to see the restaurant wasn't that busy. The host came to the desk without greeting us and just stood there with a frown on her face staring at us- awkward. With nobody else there I asked for a table for 2 and she said it should be ready in around 20 minutes, which I found odd considering there were so many open tables. We opted to dine at the bar, which offers full service. We each ordered a mojito, super refreshing and light. I got the mahi mahi fish tacos which were okay, nothing special, had a little kick to them. My friend got the sea bass burger, which was very juicy. While we waited for the food we were offered house bread which was nice and warm. The food was okay, rest of service besides the host was fine, and the ambiance is nice and open. I would say some downsides include the prices, it's on the pricier side and isn't anything special, and to me was a little plain. There was also a strong fishy smell inside, strong fish smells in seafood restaurants often means that its not fresh.

Yelp
Great spot for seafood lovers! Go for Kumamoto Humboldt Bay oysters -- signature item, fresh and tasty! The ambience is good, busy and friendly. The place is very kid friendly, ask for crayons for your little ones. List of bubbles could be enhanced though.

Yelp
High end seafood dining in Valley Fair. Definitely a good place if you want to impress someone. I like the fact that I could customize the market items with two sides. Since I now have dietary restrictions, this was helpful. I had the Farm Mexican Jumbo shrimp, flash fried cauliflower and brussel sprouts. The cauliflower was a bit oily but still tasty. There were 6 shrimps on my plate. They were slightly above average shrimp but not jumbo like advertised. The Brussel sprouts were good as well. By the way, the cauliflower costs extra which wasn't listed on the menu. Luckily our waiter told us before I ordered it. We sat outside and it was pretty cold even with the heaters on. Service was really good and the company was even better

Yelp
Came here with a reservation on a Friday night with 3 people. We were sat outside which was at first worrying since it was cold, but there were ample heating lamps and coverage from the wind. We ordered a whole variety of dishes and service was amazing! 1. Calamari - 8/10. The crust on the calamary was very crispy but light at the same time. This was solid, but my only wish was that the actual meat of the calamari were thicker. 2. Trout amardine - 9/10. This was my favorite dish by far. The fish was amazingly soft and flaky, and it was drenched in this sweetish sauce. I have no idea what it was exactly, but everyone at the table agreed that it was a favorite. 3. Macadamia nut crusted halibut - 6/10. It was "okay" but definitely not worth the price that we paid for it. 4. Clam linguine - 7/10. The clams in this dish were SO good, but the pasta itself was not that great. It's your typical seafood pasta drenched in butter/oil. 5. Sauted spinach - 9/10. We got this as one of our sides and was very very surprised at the amount of flavor that was in it. Highly recommend! 6. Cauliflower - 8/10. This as nicely charred and salted, although I wish the pieces of cauliflower a bit harder, I felt that it was overcooked just slightly. 7. Baked potato - 8/10. The skin on these potatoes were amazingly crispy!

Yelp
Went here for Mother's and Father's Day this year. Ordered my usual parm crusted sole and to my surprise, there were 4-5 bones in mine and my mom's (she ordered the same). The manager offered to take it off the bill, said he would take the bones back to show the chef and said I could just pick at the side dishes. The waiter later under his breath offered to cook another one to which I did say yes and I can just take it home and enjoy it later since I lost my appetite due to fear of swallowing pointy sharp bones. The manager never took the bones to "show the chef," the waiter never got me a new safe piece of fish to eat and about "removing it from the bill," well that's a given - that is barely the least they could do. Why would any customer be expected to PAY for a supposed boneless filet but be grappling bite after bite with sharp choking hazards? It was negligent and ruined the dining experience. My dad died last month and this was a tough dining experience to begin with having Father's Day without a father. I understand fish have bones and there will be instances like this- but to merely take it off the bill was 100% inadequate and low quality customer service. Marinna, the former manager, at least sent me a gift card when they served us rubbery, spongey fish and chips 2 yrs ago. That type of customer service motivated us to continue our patronage w King's. Stressing about feeling around for sharp jagged bones in my mouth is unacceptable and merely removing it from the bill was low grade and not merely enough to compensate.

Yelp
Super delicious and great ambiance! I love their oysters and the lobster roll! Their grilled scallop is also divine! Overall a great place for some fresh seafood. I recommend the outdoor patio, it's great!

Yelp
Overall this place had great service and exceptional food quality. The staff was kind and promptly helped us with anything we needed. I would say the food was fairly slow coming out which resulted in the entire experience taking about 2 hours. Be sure to make a reservation before going here because the wait time would have been an hour and 45 min (We arrived 6pm on a Saturday night). I would also recommend parking in the Steven's Creek parking garage because it was very convenient. The bar was welcoming and lively while still maintaining a semi luxurious feel. My only note would be that it is quite pricey even for the great quality but if you're craving high quality seafood, check out Kings! Highlights: Calamari Shrimp Bucatini

Yelp
The place has a nice ambiance and seems clean. The food is actually good (once it arrives as ordered) with all of the appropriate sauces dips and utensils. We got the tacos which had really good fish (you would hope right?). The fish and chips was well cooked with fresh and high quality ingredients. The spicy tuna roll was actually better than expected. The issue is the service. They just made too many mistakes. They didn't bring chop sticks or soy sauce with the rolls, they forgot the guacamole with the tacos. And they sent a miso cod instead of the fish and chips. Our server was friendly but we spend way too much time trying to find him to fix something or get our orders entered.

Yelp
Excellent food & pretty affordable too. I highly recommend reservations on a busy weekend night. This is located in Valley fair mall & it's kinda outside. They have a lot of bar seating, so we got seated in a couple minutes. FOOD 5/5: -Clam chowder: excellent, it was creamy & rich with a little crunch from the bacon. -Sole: so yummy, the white fish is thin and fried. The sauce on top with capers was excellent! Also, it paired well with the Brussels sprouts. -Sea bass: my partner loved the Asian flavor with the fish! Thank you for providing EXCELLENT & AFFORDABLE (Bay Area standards) SEAFOOD :) coming from San Diego, I don't eat out for seafood here since it can get expensive.

Yelp
When the birthday hubby wants lobster... this place delivers! We had a lil snafu with the actual lobster that was suggested and ordered vs what was actually available. But no biggy, they quickly provided another option and hubby was happy. We were impressed that the manager even came by to make sure everything was satisfactory with us. Cheers to wonderful service! No downsides! Everything was so fresh! + Bread and butterrrrrr! + Yummy oysters + Grilled veggies + Lobsterrrrrs for the hubby! + Bread pudding & ice cream I have a sweet tooth so this was my fave! We've had other dishes here from prior visits and all have been delicious. From cioppino to the seafood tower. The bar is really nice, has monitors for the sports fans. The large seating area is setup nicely so even when it's busy, it doesn't feel cramped. Love the comfy booths. Location is great for people watching. Great for casual dining, date nights, families, parties! Parking can be a challenge since this is located at the popular Westfield Valley Fair Mall. Valet is available next to the restaurant, and super convenient, for a fee. Highly recommend reservations.

Yelp
Food: I always come here for the seafood pasta especially the Clam linguini and second choice be the shrimp pasta! Oh so good! Service: Friendly and professional staff Ambience: I love this restaurant because of their patio dinning and cruise ship like bar layout. Great place to head out on a warm day

Tasty food but pricey. Nice decor inside. I have enjoyed their outdoor patio as well in the past. Service is on point.

Yelp
Kings fish is high end restaurant that serves high quality seafood. My friends and I came here to celebrate a birthday. We made a reservation and were promptly seated. The ambiance was very cozy and it felt like we were in a lounge. Our server was attentive and made sure to refill our sourdough bread (which was yummy) For appetizers we got two plates of calamari, and they were really good. They tasted like onion rings with a chewy texture. This dish also came with Cajun sauce and sweet and sour sauce, which complemented the calamari well. For my cocktail, I got the agave sting, and it was definitely an experience. The jalapeño and the salt rim really spiced up the drink and created an unforgettable overpowering taste. I would only recommend this if you want to try something different. For my main dish I got the grilled salmon with cauliflower and mac & cheese. The salmon was a bit dry, but it had decent flavors. I liked the cauliflower but I thought the sauce was too much. The Mac & cheese tasted basic and was nothing special. Overall, I would rate this meal a 7/10. Kings fish is a decent high end option for dining in valley fair. While the food is quite good, I personally would still prefer to eat at the food court at the mall. The food court has good options and a much lower price.

Yelp
Decent food but nothing special. I've been here quite a few times over the years, so I've tried a variety of items. The quality of the food is not as good as it was just a few years ago. It's not bad but again nothing special. The chicken jadori used to be a favorite here... but more recently, the dish looks different and tastes different, too. I'm not sure why they changed the recipe. The oysters are the reason I made trips here... and they're still pretty good. But everything else is... meh. The atmosphere is nice for a gathering, it's loud and lively. The service is good, but nothing spectacular.

Yelp
This is an update. My best friend and I decided to revisit this establishment. This time, we were seated in a pleasant booth and opted for different dishes than before. The wait time was short, the customer service exceptionally friendly, and the ambiance delightful. During our initial visit, we were seated by the entrance door, which was satisfactory. However, during this second visit, we were seated near the window in a booth, and I must commend the decor of that area; it was truly impressive. We began with the garlic edamame appetizer, which was delicious. I ordered the Nawlins BBQ shrimp dish, and it exceeded my expectations. We concluded our dining experience with a delightful dessert, the name of which escapes me, but it was akin to a bite of heaven. I wholeheartedly award Kings Fish with 5 stars and will undoubtedly return again.

Yelp
Dropped by this place while waiting to get seated at Chessecake Factory, and what was supposed to be simply grabbing drinks, we indulged in some pupus beforehand at the bar. Their oysters were small, BUT they were flavorful AF! You get to choose a few of selected varieties, but we just went with what my cousin recommended as well as the waiter-which did not disappoint! Also grabbed some poke nachos and calamari, and the SHOWSTOPPER was their butter cake! SO. FREAKING. DELICIOUS. and I crave that thing like crazy when the time of the month comes rolling around. Would've honestly liked to have the full on dinner here to explore the full menu, but the dinner outing was not for celebrating me so surely next time! Very clean restaurant, by the way.

Yelp
Amazing, amazing, amazing!! Disclosure, I did go during opening week. The location as the food was amazing! This is the new spot located at Westfield Mall new outdoor section. The ambiance was really nice and felt safe with covid precautions. The food was also really good and price, was as expected on a higher end restaurant with high quality food. I want to say I ordered the Chilean sea bass and I don't remember what fish my friend ordered, but I can say it was delicious and full of flavour! Service was great and very attentive. Even manager (I want to say name is Patrick) walked around and was checking on everyone's meal. Parking is plentiful and free as this is mall and area was very clean and welcoming. I would definitely go again and if you're around and in mood for good seafood... try this spot!

Yelp
We enjoyed our time dinning here last night. Of course with the help of our fabulous server Nick. We got oysters to start. My son enjoyed his lobster roll, my husband got steak and lobster and I had their tuna poke and shrimp taquitos with a side of salad. Everything is perfect for us. I keep coming back to this place because the atmosphere always gives good vibes whether you're with family or friends.

Yelp
Very happy to find high quality oysters and seafood in south bay (we usually drive up to hog island). Oysters were good and well-shucked, linguini vongole was good but a lil basic, chowder was pretty good. We walked in and were seated at the bar, interior feels old-school seafood joint (as expected). Service was nice no complaints.

Yelp
Came here for dinner on a Saturday night with a reservation for 5. Although it was raining, the place was still packed and busy. We were seated in the outdoor seating area which was covered and had heaters. Depending on the seat, it was still a bit cold from the rainy weather. We ordered the captain shellfish platter and added an additional uni along with an extra dozen of the kumamoto oysters. The seafood was fresh and had great condiments to pair with them. The entrees on the other hand was a bit lacking. The clams linguini was a bit bland. My mom ordered the scallops and that was a bit bland as well. The bread was also too hard. We also got the fish and chip and felt that one of the batter was too soggy. Overall, I would go back to give it another try.

Yelp
Food was great! Service was MEH. Looks like they had an employee issue. Great spot and plenty of parking. I hope they get the staff problem situated soon.

Yelp
I revisited on Sunday, 1/14 and boy - things really are hit and miss, here. Service was incredibly slow and I had the worst salad I've ever had in my life. Louie Salad - 1/5. $25 and comes entirely deconstructed with old, tough shrimp. I mean really...presenting half a whole tomato and a pile of long, thick carrot strands that you have to chop yourself....with a butter knife? And shrimp should NEVER be so hard to cut. It was that tough. Crab cake - 5/5. Still delightful as ever! Super fresh and jam packed with meat. Clams with Andouille sausage - 4/5 Sole - 3/5. It wasn't as nice as crispy on the outside this time, and it became a way tinier cut. Brussels Sprouts - 3/5. Super soggy and greasy. It took forever to ask for anything or to get our check, but it wasn't a full house either. Management - don't understaff. It's not fair for your employees, nor is it good for your patrons.

Yelp
Delicious Benedicts and great service! Best brunch spot I've been to in the Bay Area. This place is popular but we were seated quickly. We got the crabcake and carnitas benedict. Both were so good that we came back a week later. The poached egg is soft with a runny yoke and the hollandaise sauce is perfect.

Yelp
Came in for my birthday and was seated right away. Our server was amazing and super engaging and friendly. Ordered the Sole and it was fantastic... I wish there was more sauce and a lemon slice to add more if needed, but it was tender, flakey, and perfectly cooked. The spinach with fresh garlic and butter as well as the baked potato was a perfect pair for the meal. The vibe in the place is super fun and casual, but feels fancy. I usually have drinks and apps at the bar, but this may be a new place to come for a seafood meal! It is located in Valley Fair and parking is ample, but does cost $1/hour after the first 2.

Yelp
Came on a Tuesday afternoon and got seated right away. The restaurant is spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. Fresh oysters. The fish and chips were delicious - the beer batter was light and crispy. Also tried the blackened wild ono sandwich - the slaw was great. My only complaints: pricey with small portion sizes. Service was good, but there was still a long wait for the food, even though the restaurant was pretty empty.

Yelp
We went to this seafood restaurant on New Year's Eve at 8 pm and were excited to try it out. Despite having reservations, we were seated outside in a chilly little back porch area. They had heat lamps on, so our faces were warm, but everything else was chilly. The area was next to a loud, drunk party of four in their 60s. This wasn't the restaurant's fault but added to the not-so-great ambiance. Our waiter was great and tried his best to deal with the crowds while being attentive to our needs. I ordered the parmesan sole with caper butter sauce. However, the presentation could have been better, it looked like it was rushed out of the kitchen (see photo), and the fish was swimming in too much butter, which overpowered the dish's other flavors. We also ordered oysters, but they were all sold out except for one kind, which was good, but the shells' backs were covered in dirt, so our fingers got dirty. The side dishes were cauliflower with tahini sauce, but the cauliflower was slightly brown, and the small dollop of tahini was hidden under parsley, making it hard to find. I also ordered the mashed potatoes, which were nothing too special. The meal cost us well over $100, (including my partner's meal, 20% for the waiter, and two beers). Despite being a super busy night, we expected better food quality and presentation for the price.

Yelp
Great food on the pricey side but worth the money! The oysters were the bomb, calamari was ok. But the main course was the best!

Yelp
Just wanted to say that "Carlos" made this place rock. From the start to the end, his was very attentive to our table and deserves big applause from all four of us at his table. Our food was fresh, served hot and cooked to perfection. We did come for lunch and did not have to deal with the crowd. I myself being a snotty Ciapino fan and love to give thumbs up to King Fish's version of it. Not too acidic and loaded with Fish, clams, shrimps and crab clusters. Thank you Linda for making the reservation and treating us to this marvelous place. Our turn next time!

Yelp
We started off with cocktails and I got the grapefruit cocktail. I ordered it as my 2nd round as well since I enjoyed that it was sweet and slightly sour at the same time. We got 2 orders of half a dozen oysters and 1 order of a dozen clams as well as a bowl of seafood soup. There was also garlic fries with shrimp and asparagus. The seafood soup was good but the raw oysters and clams were definitely the highlights out of the appetizers. I found the octopus wntreee to be quite skimpy on meat but the taste was good. The salmon came with 2 sides which you can choose. We got a side of mac and cheese + mashed potatoes. I believe the star of the night was, without a doubt, the miso sea bass. It was soooo soft and flaky, as should be. The miso flavor sinked into the bass quite well and we were definitely impressed by it. While I like trying new dishes, when I come back next time, I already know I'll order more raw oysters and the miso sea bass again!

Yelp
We've always seen how busy this place is whenever we walk by. Made a note to come here to try. We do like that they are open all day long. Came here around 4pm. A bit empty. Bread was offered - Okay but nice touch. Didn't expect it. Parmesan Crusted Petrale Sole - So good and pleasantly surprised. My husband and I thought this was our highlight meal. Wild Mexican Mahi Mahi - My husband's dish. Good too but he liked my sole more. The sides are delicious and done very well. Really made our experience. Mash potatoes, Brussels sprouts with bacon, fried cauliflower, spinach - loved it

Yelp
solid experience conveniently located at valley fair mall near bloomingdale's. our family dined here on a weekday afternoon with little wait. the restaurant is large with plenty of indoor outdoor dining. pros: kid friendly, clean, fresh seafood and friendly staff cons: service was a bit slow, waitress forgot my chowder order so eventually cancelled it and the louie salad was difficult to eat and was more like a plate of a la carte items rather than a salad. overall would try again.

Yelp
What a beautiful Kings Fish House this is and it's located outside the Westfield Valley Fair mall. I sat at the bar and ordered a Virgin Mary and spiny lobster! The vibes are super upbeat and fun and Eddie is an awesome bartender and waiter!! This is definitely the best Kings I've ever been to!! It's the same chain that owns Water Grill I wish they had stone crab but that's my only complaint so far. lol

Yelp
My husband and I celebrated my milestone birthday with a fantastic luncheon on Feb 19th. Special recognition goes to our knowledgeable server, Brandon, who exceeded expectations in attending to our needs throughout the meal.

Yelp
IMHO Two years ago, my girlfriends and I came here for lunch to celebrate their birthdays. Today we ordered the exact same dishes! The only difference was the prices. In two years, the entrees went up $4 to $5 per entree. Food and service was still delicious. Will we return? Of course!

Yelp
I've been here quite a few times now since my son loves fish and chips. They come out piping hot. Love their covered patio seating area. Friendly staff. Typically make reservations since it can get busy especially with a large party. They are super accommodating for the kiddo. They treated my SIL to a complementary dessert when we celebrated her bday. Overall a great place, pricing is fitting given its seafood. I would skip the lobster roll since they were pretty skimpy with the lobster but everything else is good.

Yelp
I been wanting to try this restaurant and finally able to make a reservation for early dinner on weekday. We've ordered the grilled octopus as appetizers, mahi mahi tacos and Jidori chicken. The mahi mahi tacos are great, Jidori chcken is alright , nothing spectacular about it however the grilled octopus is sub par. Octopus is a bit rubbery and the vegetables are over seasoned . It was too salty to my tasting. I have better grilled octopus from other establishments. It didn't live up to my expectations. I'll come back and try other offerings.

Yelp
Oysters were recommended by our server and enjoyed by the table. Although my party tends to like smaller oysters, the naked cowboy oysters recommended by the server ended up being my favorite. Parmesan crusted patrale sole with garlic mashed potatoes and sautéed spinach -- This was my order & YUMMY. Fish was cooked well and the capers added a welcome touch. The sides were okay! Someone in my party also decided to get the $60 per lb spiny lobster, to the glee of the rest of us. I tried it & I'm not sure if I would order again for the cost, but it was good. I'm overall satisfied with the service. Our server spent extra time discussing his favorites with our table and explaining different parts of the meal. I went in a family setting, so it was great!
