How Restaurant Workers Are Finding New Jobs During the Pandemic | Eater

"A Northeast grocery chain that launched a hiring campaign to onboard over 100 full- and part-time workers (some temporary) across its locations, recruiting for positions from cart retrieval and cashiers to deli slicing and noting that hospitality workers' food knowledge is especially useful." - Matthew Sedacca

The owners of the store are usually on site. They are kind and funny. But, don't park in their parking lot unless you're shopping at their store. They will have you towed because their lot is too small for people to park and leave.

Yelp
Kenny has a gas cut-off switch behind the counter. I've been a customer since 2004. He sold me an 18 year old emergency cell phone charger less than a week ago for $4.98 plus tax. When I got it home, I noticed it only worked on Nokia 3200 and a few other models. When I Googled it, there hasn't been a Nokia phone it would work on since 2003. The next day I rolled up on pump #2. My 2017 Kia Rio LX range was on 1 mile. I asked Kenny if I could have $5 store credit, he agreed. I could hear gas flowing for 2 seconds. When I pulled off, my range was still on 1 mile, for $3.21 gas. The next day, I went to another store and got $5 gas. My range jumped to 84 miles. This is real grease ball stuff.
