Kings Grant Farmers Market

Awesome farmers market! Every year it gets better. Always awesome food trucks and incredible vendors. Some of these vendors drive an hour plus to be here, and I am so thankful. Every first and third Thursday of the month. 4-7pm. Come check it out and support local businesses!

Bigger than I expected and tons of great stuff!

I love this market because it has a little bit of everything. Produce, artisans, food trucks, and always something new to try!

It's was nice. I sell local honey an bees wax candles. Not worth my time to set up for 3 hours. We did buy some things. Will be back.

Today was my first visit to Kings Grant Farmers Market where I found a wonderful variety of vendors. I’ve been a farmers market devotee for more than half a century and I was impressed.

Love this place. All the vendors have fres, great stuff. Wish you were open longer in the year.

Great little market. Lots of produce and food vendors, along with some craft vendors. A nice variety.

Kings Grant Farmers Market (KGFM) is a seasonal farmers market hosted in the parking lot of Kings Grant Baptist Church. Offerings include art, produce, seafood, locally made food and packaged items (jam, popcorn, cheese), bread/pastries, food trucks, etc. Many of the vendors are also staples at other VA Beach farmers markets. -- TLC & Amenities -- The church graciously offers its parking lot as space for parking and the market, volunteers to direct traffic and help with setup/cleanup, its picnic table filled pavilion for KGFM guests to eat at, the restroom in its fellowship hall, and the playground out back of the church. All of these small courtesies add up to a wonderful family-friendly environment and event. -- Hours -- KGFM runs on the 1st & 3rd Thursday of each month from May through September from 4-7pm. -- Takeaways -- Local produce, local artists, great prices on seafood, and more offered in a well-spaced outdoor market allows for social distancing. With the inclusion of food trucks you can make a family dinner out of your shopping trip. Food truck prices are on par with others, which doesn't make for the most affordable dinner, but the offerings are excellent. KGFM is great option for families who want to frequently support local vendors!
