Great quality pizza but what made this a great experience was the customer service. There is nothing better than getting treated like royalty. Ivory was amazing! She took care of our whole group and kept going the extra mile.

I stopped by King's Pizza in Ladson, SC for a quick lunch and was really impressed! I had two large slices of pizza—one with pepperoni—and a drink. The pizza was hot, fresh, and delicious, with a nice crispy crust and just the right amount of cheese and toppings. The pepperoni slice especially hit the spot. The staff was friendly and the service was quick, making it a great quick lunch. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area and craving good pizza!

Finally a local pizza spot we enjoy! living in Summerville/N Charleston area the options are limited for good pizza~ tried 3 different pies, meat lovers, plain for the kids & Roma & the garlic knots (there were 4 adults and 4 kids) all but a slice or two was gone! No complaints, everyone was full and Happy. This will be our spot & Carla (our waitress) is a gem!

Ordered food through doordash. Ordered chicken and broccoli Alfredo... received chicken and broccoli linguine noodles in a butter soup no Alfredo... absolutely disgusting... Then had 6 garlic parmesean chicken wings with my order... they smelled and looked fantastic... ate 1/2 of 1 wing and it tasted like bad seafood... whether it's poor storage, poor food handling, cross contamination, or they fried them in the same oil as seafood is unknown but 1 bite and I ended up throwing it up on the floor of my living room... absolutely inedible... maybe the over seasoning was an attempt to cover it up... Thank God I'm not allergic to seafood, or I'd be going to the ER... but as it stands I've lost my respect, appetite, and desire for kings food... I don't know what changed but they've lost me as a customer...

Always great food! Literally, I wish I spoke Italian because the family certainly does:-) Recommend any pizza, meatball appetizer or meatball sub/pizza, eggplant parmigiana and Philly cheesesteak! I’m a frequent visitor! Affordable meals and excellent quality food! Best in the Charleston area!

This restaurant offers reasonably priced Italian food. Please remember to add toppings to your Alfredo pasta; otherwise, you will only receive the sauce and noodles.

This place is fantastic, and in my opinion, all their food is high quality. I love the character of this spot, and it has become my go-to place for picking up pizzas on the way home from work. Again, I think all their food is excellent, but their pizza and calzones are something special. Also, their pizza slices lunch deal is the best deal in town. Whether you get food to go or sit down at the restaurant, I promise you won’t be disappointed.

The antipasto was excellent and enjoyed the stuffed pizza as well. When it comes to dessert all I can say is HOLY CANNOLI!!

I love this place. I realize I don't feel yucky like I normally do after eating high carbs. Wellll they make their own pasta and dough and sauces. So what I get is not as processed food as your typical chain pizza place. It's clean and nice wait staff. I love all the pasta and pizzas and Stromboli and calzone. This is the place I go on cheat days and I don't feel physically awful afterwards.

Initially we were going to order pizza but switched to the spaghetti. The reviews were good so I figured why not. When we walked in there was a crowd and people were waiting for their takeout. To me that meant something had to be good for it to be crowded. :-) I like the decor and the vibes. This would be a great spot for a quick lunch or to get dinner. The aroma of pizza and pasta smelled good! The spaghetti was good. You can taste the fresh tomatoes but it was missing something. There was more sauce than noodles. Our plate came with spaghetti and 2 big meatballs, 1 hard piece of bread, lemon pepper wings and a spoon full of salad. The meatballs would equate to 5 small meatballs. If the bread was suppose to be garlic bread, there was nothing garlic about it. GET THE LEMON PEPPER WINGS!!! OMG!! The reason for the 4 stars was due to the lady at the front register picking her nose and the spaghetti missing more flavor. If needing to pick your nose, try going to the restroom and please wash your hands.

Food is always a 10/10 & the people are so nice. Great prices on everything which we love!

I first tried Kings Pizza at a party and thought it was so good! Told my boyfriend all about it and we ordered the next day! We got the Roni Nation 18 inch pizza, which is a double cheese, double pepperoni! The cheese is so good and gooey! The double portions take it so over the top, it's hard to eat more than one slice in a sitting. We also got the garlic knots and they were so buttery and packed with garlic! The marinara sauce was also tasty, and didn't taste like it was from a can! There is a such an extensive menu, I can't wait to try more including the pastas! Highly recommend for some tasty pizza!

Always a great meal here! I ordered an hour before closing time. Got the lasagna -- it was a bit salty but still good. Meat sauce was great. Very cheesy! Banzini bread was so good, but I had to bake it a little more because the cheese wasn't as melted as it could have been. Wings were great, so crispy! Lemon pepper seasoning was a typical lemon pepper flavor in all of its slightly salty goodness. Chicken Alfredo (not pictured) was also very good! The sauce was very creamy and full of flavor. Nice place to have a family meal. Service was good.

When I tell you I'm in love with this place I'm not exaggerating. The food is to die for, portions are massive. Service was on point. Carla and Nova were so attentive, helpful and friendly. Wonderful menu with something for everyone. We came to celebrate Pi day and they've gained us for life. This is our pizza place from now on. You guys have to try them. I'm hooked.

This review is only for the pizza as takeout, not the restaurant. This is one of the best pizzas in the area and especially since they routinely knock them out in 20 min, it was a staple for pizza night. When you don't want chain pizza, go to Kings. I personally recommend bacon (not ham) and pineapple, and the Roma (Spinach, Tomato, Feta and Garlic). And their pizza lunch special is a killer deal too!

We got pizza here a couple of weeks ago and it was delicious. Posting this review so that folks know they are closed for summer vacation from July 14 to 28th. It would be very helpful if they put this message on their answering machine.

Amazing food! It has become one of our go to Italian restaurants. The Strombolis are our favorites!

We tried this place for the first time today. I remember hearing many great things about it over the years. We didn't want pizza as we had pizza twice already this week. So we decided to try the pasta. It was me and my two daughters. When we arrived we sat ourself as the signs said, we're greeted by the woman server. The dining area only had a few people as we arrived just after 5 pm. The server (maybe owner) took our drink order and we placed an appetizer order as well. We ordered the mozzarella sticks, they were the thicker ones but seemed to be a bit over cooked and very airy inside. Overall not terrible though. Or dinner came with a side salad which was decent, nothing too fancy just romaine, black olives, pickled peppers, onions one thin slice of tomato. My daughter ordered the Alfredo and broccoli and I ordered the manicotti. When our food came out the server took my daughters fork with her salad and never brought her a new one. We had to ask for another fork to eat. The manicotti was good and you could tell the pasta was homemade. I'd definitely order it again. However, my daughters Alfredo was very bitter and looked watery and separated. She took a few bites and told me it tasted like medicine, I didn't understand how so I tasted it and it was gross. When the server flew by us I had to grab her attention to let her know. She was the only server in the dining room and they were getting busy at this point. The dish was ultimately taken off our bill and we just ate what we had at the table. She offered to get us a new dish but we were ok with sharing the manicotti at that point. Too many mozzarella sticks and bread before dinner. She took my daughter bad dish away along with her fork again...lol. I ended up handing my fork to my oldest to eat and used my fingers to feed my 1 year old her cut up manicotti noodles. We never got a refill of water the whole time. Overall the manicotti was good but not sure I'd have to go back for it ever. I guess we should have tried the piz

King's Pizza is top shelf! All of their food is great but my favorite is their Chicken Alfredo and their Chef Salad. Oh and the rolls they give you with your dinner is a bite of heaven! Try it you won't be disappointed....

I came to King's Pizza because of the reviews. You all did NOT disappoint or mislead!! The portions are amazing!! Came for a lunch combo and I couldn't be happier with the taste and quality! If I had more time to dine in, I certainly would have! The place literally takes you somewhere else. You feel the Italian vibe in the best way. They're in a hurry to serve you so they're constantly moving fast, so you'll be taken care of. I can't say enough good about this incredible place other than I'll be back EVERY SINGLE TIME I'm in this town. I travel for work and look forward to my return here! I highly recommend Kings pizza if you're looking for authentic italian food and pizza without the expensive price! This place is a gem! Their food are just priced right and they have huge servings! I'm not a big fan of pasta but I would gladly eat from here anytime! Everything we had was just so delicious and we come back once a week! They have a huge selection of food to choose from and we haven't been disappointed by any of the pasta's we've had. Definitely come check out this place!

Ordered a pizza through DoorDash. It was "OK" at best. I say this as someone born in New York City, raised in New Jersey, who has eaten plenty of Chicago pizza too. I know what a good pizza is. This wasn't it. It was tolerable, but as a sign neither of my kids had more than one slice tonight and they said it was "OK". Pepperoni was very casually put on the pie. Sauce was just wrong in ways I don't know how to put into words. Especially for the price, this was a real disappointment.

The service - the good food - & it came quickly! We will certainly be returning. And oh my goodness, the garlic knots were out of this world

Disappointing comes to mind. I heard so many great things about. If you are from Nj/ny area you probably won't like it as their pizza sauce is more marinara than true pizza sauce. Doubt I will be back. The one pro was service was good.

Two very different experiences a week apart. Me and my husband went to Kings for lunch one day. We got their lunch special. Mine was a drink, a salad, and a slice of white pizza with tomatoes and spinach. Omggggg it was so good. Literally the best pizza of my life. The undercarriage was crispy.... not too thin and not too thick. Hardly any flop. The top was cheesy and so so so flavorful. I've literally not been able to stop thinking about it since we left. So, I stop in today and got a small white pizza with the same toppings to go. Kingsssssss what happened in a week ? The pizza was so soggy. It was like 98% of it leading to the crust was wet. I couldn't even pick it up. I took it to share at work. I hyped y'all up so much to everyone. I got the looks. I promised everyone this wasn't your regular work. After spending almost $20 after tip ...we definitely ate it. We used our fingers to pinch what we could into our mouth. The flavor was amazing still. I'm writing this to call it to y'all's attention. Y'all are better than this. I know this personally. Trying to keep the faith.

I really love this place but I recently ordered the large family size fettuccine Alfredo and in the past this served 4 to 5 people But this order wasn't even enough for 2 people! $15.00 and didn't even have enough for 2 of us. Will not be ordering again! Don't know what happened but I been going to them since they were originally on old trolley rd and I really love their food.

The best Italian food in Summerville! The portions are huge. We come home with leftovers that last another night or two. We've been going there for years.

So we've never had issue with Kings. Pizza has always been great. We recently ordered the "Gardener" pizza. The pizza was inedible. The dough was soaking wet. The pizza was covered with what appeared to be an entire can of jalapeños, including the juice, translucent bell peppers and onions that tasted like they'd been pickled. The photos attached show how this pizza was littered with canned vegetables. The entire pizza had to be thrown away. Completely unexpected from Kings. Spoke to the manager who wouldn't take ownership of this very poor effort that couldn't be labeled as a pizza. He never even asked what we ordered or what was wrong before he deflected with stating that they'd received no other complaints. That's fantastic, but that doesn't make what we received acceptable. Stuff happens, take ownership and keep a customer. Sad.

Food was great and the serving sizes are definitely worth what you pay! Lunch pizza slices are huge and delicious! Chicken parmigiana was great as well!

I really tried to like this place but when you serve me crap food 20 min after my family gets their pizza then I'm done. No apology from the server either; instead she ignores us. Also, if you look at the pic of my eggplant rollatini, you will see that it has sliced mozzarella cheese on top of ricotta that is straight out of a tub and covered with canned tomato sauce. Horrible! They should really be ashamed to call themselves "Italian". No Italian I know would serve this. Thankfully, we have a lot of better options in this area.

I have been going to King's for like 10 years now. The best pizza in the are, period. The salads and subs are also pretty good!

6/5 stars. The portions are massive, everything is delicious, and our server, Ivory, was very attentive and friendly! We got the chicken parm, the shrimp alfredo, chicken alfredo, and a three little pigs pizza. None of us got through more than a third of our plates, but we made sure to pack up every last bit of it. The restaurant has a very cozy ambiance -- it's outdated in a good way. It was very reminiscent of going out for pizza when I was a kid. Loved every moment, and I will definitely go back whenever I'm in Charleston again!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE their Alfredo.. I always add broccoli and chicken.. literally chefs kiss.. the staff is always nice :)

Gotta say I'm pretty impressed with this place. Just moved to the area from NY so I'm pretty picky about my Italian food. Yet Kings Pizza doesn't disappoint. First, I tried their pizza. Had to get The Works which has peppers, onions, mushrooms, sausage and pepperoni. Very good! Next time I ordered delivery I switched things up and tried the eggplant parm. Loved it! The sauce was so good; authentic. The eggplant was sliced nice and thin and so much cheese- yummy! Recently, I had linguini with mussels in red sauce delivered and some bruschetta. Now this was amazing. For only $15.95 they give you at least 20 mussels, a heaping pile of linguini and delicious red sauce with chunks of tomato and garlic. To die for!!!! I'm not even going to try another Italian restaurant in the area. This is the one for me!

Approximately five weeks ago, I ordered a pizza and it arrived an hour, late and cold... When I called and spoke to the manager to complain, he wanted to send me another pizza that night... I said I didn't need a second pizza that we would eat it cold, but that I was not happy. he said to call back when I was ready for another pizza and he would send one... A couple weeks later I called to have this done and they did not have anybody to deliver it... I am 75 years old with a 42 year-old disabled son that lives with me and I could not pick it up. I called again just a few minutes ago to see if we could have this done and he said they no longer deliver and again I cannot come pick it up... So much for the cold pizza and late pizza that I got five weeks ago... Suffice it to say I will not be ordering more. Their pizza is good but their service is not.

I guess I should have read the reviews before ordering..this place used to be good. But I don't know what happened. Ordered chicken ziti and got so violently I'll my husband almost had to take me to the hospital. Other reviews mention getting sick after eating chicken pasta. Will be calling the health department. My little daughter was so frightened to see me in that condition. You guys are playing with peoples lives by knowingly serving food in either less than sanitary conditions or violating cooking standards. Fix it. Quickly.

I've been going to King's since they stated at this location, so close to 10 years. Not that it isn't good, but I really think their pizza might used to be better. And I think the reason might be that they've changed their ingredients, specifically the sauce and the cheese...but I can't put my finger on it. (Don't get me wrong, when I ordered double cheese and extra sauce, I got double cheese and extra sauce... Hence, the pizza looks so messy. Not kings fault... It was so hot when I picked it up, it just slid around. No complaints about that!) What I'm trying to say is that the flavor profiles have changed and I liked them better before. The calamari was good, no complaints. However, I did not like the salad at all... And I'm a salad person. The size was good and the lettuce was fresh. The salad dressing was not Cesar, IMO. It seemed like Italian dressing to me. I also do not like powdered parmesan on my Cesar salad. I did like that the salad dressing was on the side though, so the lettuce wasn't soggy by the time it is consumed. Will I go back? ABSOLUTELY! However, whatever King's changed, I wish they would go back to what it was before... (It used to be amazing!)

We stopped in for lunch one day. It was decently busy, but staff was attentive and we were promptly greeted, and seated. It isn't the cleanest or most updated restaurant, but it wasn't too bad and there is plenty of seating. I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo and was sadly disappointment. It was SUPER runny and had NO FLAVOR! However, we received a free appetizer, the salad that came with my meal was tasty, and I really liked the dressing. My hubby enjoyed his food (he got pizza) more than I did. I would probably go back, I would just order pizza instead.

An authentic New Jersey style pizzeria being close by in South Carolina is a real gift!! I recently ordered a Sicilian pie with diced tomatoes and basil. It was absolutely delicious!!!

Just moved to South Carolina after 30 years in New York. Closest to real NY pizza we have experienced. Only reason it's a 4 star instead of a 5 is because out of roughly 15 orders, we did have one bad experience- some sort of issue with the delivery driver, pizza arrived about an hour and 40 minutes later than the given ETA. Things happen- we still order frequently. Have only had the pizza and side order of meatballs, looking forward to exploring the rest of the menu!

Went for lunch and was disappointed. Ordered garlic knots as an appetizer which we never received. Requested a high chair or booster seat which was never brought. The rolls were cold to the touch. Our salads were browning and not fresh. Food was sub par. Avoid this one.

Authentic Italian pizza, great salads, sandwiches and pasta. Service is always friendly, either eating there or getting take out. We like that they often have Italian beers you can't get anywhere else.

The only thing good here was the gentleman over the phone so I would say staff was Great!!! But the food ... no flavor everything was cold and no garlic on the garlic knots and they were as hard as a wood pecker .... I don't think I would eat here again. Got the chicken parm also and the cheese was not even melted ...

The restaurant is so good. We have had different items on their menu and all are great. Our favorite is the Philly Steak Stromboli (Peppers, Onions, Steak and Cheese). The large is huge and only 14.99.

Amazing!! Born and raised in ny. Recently moved to SC. They are the closet you will get to ny pizza! All other foods are great too!

While in Ladson, I was advised by friends to try Kings Pizza. I try to order it online but had a few issues so I decide to go in and pick up my food order a pizza a garlic cheese bread and chicken wings the food ready in 20 minutes. Good timing! Only the cashier appeared friendly. My pizza and wings were delicious...my Banzini bread seemed undercook...not golden brown. Not bad but I don't know if I would return.

Love the pizza. I tried the slices of pizza which are huge and very affordable when you don't need an entire pizza. I had a cheese slice, pepperoni slice and sausage slice (on different occasions). The sausage was shaved but yummy. I've never had sausage that was in the form of a mini meat ball. You can't ever go wrong with pepperoni or cheese only. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

This place is bomb. The only thing that I won't order from here is the buffalo chicken pizza. Everything I've eaten from here has been delicious, besides that one item.

Trying to find an Italian restaurant that is open on a Sunday is more difficult than I realized. Thank goodness I found king's pizza to try. Small but cute restaurant with ample room for seating. They also offer pick up. I ordered the lasagna dinner, which comes with a salad and garlic bread. It did get very busy with pickup orders around the time I was waiting for my meal, and to be honest I right they had forgotten about me order. But they didn't, they were just waiting for fresh lasagna to come out to give me. And it was very much worth the wait. The serving is huge. Seriously, you can feed 2 people with that 1 serving. And it was fresh and hot. When I got it home, I just dug in, and the cheese on top was the perfect amount of stringy and gooey. So delicious. Noodles were cooked perfect too. Not crunchy and burnt, or under done, perfect. I haven't eaten the salad yet, or the garlic buns. My son did eat the buns and he was a fan. So all in, I would say it is a great place to try for some local Italian.
