King's Road Brewing Company, Medford

I came to shut the bar down as I usually do. Showed up after drinking through the neighborhood. I only had one as I read and sobered up a little. The beach party lived up to its name, I wish I could've taken some cans home. There were only a few other couples when I came, but there was plenty of seating at the bar and for groups. They had it open to the outside seating and enjoying the weather. They also had koozies, covering all the basics.

Located right on the North end of the Historic Village section of Medford, NJ is Kings Road Brewing Company (KRB). Four of us stopped in on a late Fall Sunday afternoon. KRB has a large indoor and outdoor seating area, the game is on, it's pet friendly, kid friendly, and bring your own take-out friendly. There's a large parking lot, clean establishment, service is quick, beer is good, and overhead heating outside. Perfect place to stop and take a break while shopping at the several other boutiques/shops that are located within walking distance along Main Street.

They had two great beers I really enjoyed, Tropical Theory (hazy and fruity) and Chido (like a polished Mexican lager). My friends loved Ample Vengeance. Medford location is very conveniently placed with a BBQ joint next door and icecream shop across. Absolutely loved the shaded picnic tables outdoor. Perfect for families or meet up with friends. We came from a farm, so it worked out perfectly on an early Sunday afternoon. Knocked off a point because the person serving seemed very flustered and frustrated at every patron when a small line formed and overheard the lack of patience when someone asked for a game to be put on TV. Also, didn't seem too knowledgable in explaining the selections or giving pointers so heavily relied on flights. Maybe some additional help or more experienced person would help make this business more lively as this discouraged wanting to ask for another beer.

This brewery has the best customer service I've seen! They were attentive, $3 craft beers were awesome, and the music was great! What a wonderful Sunday afternoon with family! PS... Next door is Whole Hog Cafe! Food was delish!

Excellent local brewery and a definite must-see stop. Wide range of beer styles, all very well made. Food? Whole Hog Cafe is next door for great barbeque pork and brisket.

Brewery in a small complex that was once a feed store. In a walkable area with other breweries. Has indoor and outdoor seating that is heated in winter. BBQ and Ice cream in same complex. A nice spot to spend a few hours.

What a wonderful set up! Indoor and outdoor seating. Great selection of brews. Next door are places to buy food to compliment the drinks. Great time!

Great place to watch the Union games! Really nice staff and the beer is top notch. I recommend the Mexican lager

I'm a mug club member at the Haddonfield location and I hang out there all the time, literally hundreds of times since they first opened their doors in December 2017. Needless to say I'm a fan of the place. I've only been to their Medford location a handful of times but it has all the same charm as the original location. Very good, rotating beer list - always a mixture of old standbys such as the Kings Gold and Black Musket, and brand new releases they are trying out. The decor is very similar, and some of their staff work both locations, so friendly and helpful staff all around. Downtown Medford is home to 3 breweries (soon to be 4) all remarkably within a half mile of each other and on the same street. No idea how that happened but don't look a gift horse in the mouth. Get thee to Kings Road and enjoy a sensational beer drinking experience.

If I could rate this 0 stars I would. Bartender poked fun at a member of a group for not drinking as well as trying to make a racist joke. Absolutely not okay

After driving by this place a thousand times it was time to check them out. The place is super clean. The beers were great and the staff was friendly and the ambiance was perfect. My kind of place. You can get food elsewhere and bring it in. Definitely check this place out!

If Brie is posting about a dog friendly place, it is probably a brewery :) and we found another one for you! MEDFORD: Kings Road Brewing has 2 locations in our great state and today we will be talking about the tasting room in Medford. The other location is in Haddonfield. Leashed dogs are allowed at their outdoor beer garden! What is great about being outside, specifically here, is that it is fully covered from the top, so you can enjoy the space during all weather and all-year-round (heaters are installed too). A server will come out to take your order and there are a variety of beers to enjoy! Brie's Mom had a flight and enjoyed the bock, hibiscus berry seltzer and the NEIPA. You can bring your own food and there is a great spot in the same complex, Peewee's Icecream, to get a freshly baked bavarian pretzel and more!

Really good beers and atmosphere. Outside area is comfortable and covered . Barbecue next door is plus also

King's Road is a cool, cozy and friendly spot to sip a first-class beer. My fave is Black Musket, an oatmeal stout that is perfectly balanced in a full, dark, exuberant way. The owners and staff make you feel so at home and welcome. There's ourdoor seating out front on the picturesque Haddonfield main street. Good-looking merch. This lucky traveler has enjoyed this spot for the fourth time in a week!

Stopped in on the day of the Medford Art, Wine, and Music Festival to try their Octoberfest beer. Decided to join the Mug Club which got me a King's Road t-shirt, a personal 20oz mug to drink out of while in the brewery, and my first beer in the mug at no charge. Service again was great despite being packed with people. I didn't get my bartender's name but she was able to answer all my questions about their beer and the mug club while maintaining a smile and seemingly unbothered (I felt like I was being a pain). The first beer I ordered in the mug was their Ample Vengeance IPA which I'm really enjoying. I decided to also try a Black Musket stout even though I'm not typically a stout guy and I will be ordering one of those again as well. I can't wait until they release some more of their IPAs in the Medford location!

I first learned of this brewery while visiting their original location in Haddonfield. Seeing them open in Medford was exciting! This place is doing it absolutely right! The service staff have been trained well. They are fast, polite and super friendly. They are focused on your comfort and enjoyment, and it shows. Inside is a bit loud and could use some acoustic panels, but it's so clean and fun. I joined the mug club to support local businesses and so glad I did. I'm so thrilled to have them in town!!!

Great beer selection and fantastic setting. We were served right away and got a full explanation of all of the options we asked about.

Unexpected brewery in Medford Main Street. We went there with my family who traveled from Albuquerque, New Mexico; for a beer ;and some barbecue sides which we were able to bring in from next door Resturant. Highly recommended. I am not a bar crowd person but will go again , specifically in middle of the week when is not as busy. Enjoy

Great place! Brought the pup and sat on the heated outdoor enclosed patio. Purchased some pretzels from next door and enjoyed some good drinks!
