The service was super slow. Inattentive to us, the water was empty for a long time and we had to wait for an annoying amount of time to get any service. Food was decent but not sure if it’s worth the price for the tasting menu.

Reasonably priced, nice atmosphere, good cocktails and decent wine. Ingredients of prime quality but very average cooking (Too sallty fries, disapointedly arranged mix of ingredients, etc... )

Very interesting flavors, well trained service , great atmosphere. Amazing place well hidden in the heart of the Alphabet City!

Cool classy spot with a small-portion serving style. Food is unevenly good. From six different tapas that we ordered for two people, about three of those options were good (actually very good!). The drink/wine menu is excellent. So was the service. In terms of ambience, the place is on the contemporary side of looks yet comfortable and attitude-free.

Love this spot! It's an unexpected gem tucked away in the east village. The ambiance is super nice and comfortable. Perfect for a date or group of friends! You can tell they spared little expense with the high end bar and decor. Cocktails are creative and tasty and the food is amazing! The chef is really creative and got me loving dishes I never wouldve expected. My favorite is the charred octopus..the bone barrow accompanied with a shot of sake sherry is on point as well! The bar menu is also great if looking for a more relaxed dining experience as well. The outdoor garden is also one of the nicest I've seen in the city!!! Definitely check this joint out!

The restaurant itself if nice (ambience) however the price is not justified... We had the poached eggs and it was one egg in a nest of greens..and when asking toasts we got 2 small biscuits ..? We were hungry when we left. The host is very nice and made the experience better. However when ordering an orange juice I asked if it was fresh and they assured me it was, i tried it and it definitely wasn't, they said they would freshly squeeze one but I never received it... The place has potential but portions should be reconsidered...

We had the three course menu. The food was bad. None of us could stand the summer gazpacho soup. The squid was more taut than a gummy bear, the cucumber was unnoticeable, the tomato was days old. One of us had the salad. The leaves were over-oxidized, as if they'd been out all day. Probably had been out for as long as that tomato. Can't even take solace in the dessert - the cake was dry and hard, and the raspberries were not fresh. They were bad. I guess the bass was not bad, but why accompany it with Costco collected canned corn? For the price, the service was extremely below standard. Our waters were not filled when empty. We had to insist on it. The servers took no interest in explaining the menu and lacked attention to details. We had been excited for the restaurant with the positive reviews - unfortunately, the food was genuinely inedible and the service lacking. I expect ZAGAT will be re-evaluating its stupendously unrealistic ratings for this poor restaurant. It has not been able to keep up whatever quality in food and service it may have had in the past.

The restaurant is nice, the decoration is on point and one of the host was great. However the price is too expensive for what you get. It is not too expensive on paper but we got such a small portion that it was not worth it. The poach egg (only 1 small) and the frisee salad had too much vinegar, and when we asked for toast (it was brunch) we received two small biscuits... Disappointed
