Kinlum Kindee Sansai

One of the best Northern Thai food restaurants in Chiang Mai and it has just been recognized by the Michelin Guide as well. I love the atmosphere here they grow their own vegetables and herbs to use in their dishes. The place is spacious, green, and very relaxing, with many different seating areas. They also have a café that you definitely shouldn’t miss, especially their premium matcha and cakes!

This is a great restaurant. The food is delicious and the place looks beautiful. The grass outside is nicer than on football fields. I haven’t been to Wimbledon, but I think it could compete with their grass 😄 Seriously, this place is a must-visit if you come to Chiang Mai. Totally recommended.

Even the scooter ride out of Chiang Mai added to the experience peaceful, scenic, and well worth the journey. A nice quiet restaurant!!! On the way, we feel like we’re going to the village. It’s a restaurant attached with an organic farm. You may see variety of vegetables. You can also buy them. Meals _ delicious enough, healthy, some dishes may be said a bit pricey but worth it for their service & taste. Helpful & kind staffs Lots of car parking in the compound

Authentic Northern Thai cuisine set in a Thai house. All dining area is al fresco which is really nice but mosquitos might be a problem at night. You can also find exotic local dishes like buffalo meat. We stuck to the less exotic ones like vegetable soups, fried chicken, minced pork (larb kua), fish soup and fried local vegetable (Chiang da) with egg which I highly recommend. We have these dishes with sticky rice. Overall, this is a place to discover unique local dishes and introduce new flavors to your taste buds!

A beautiful traditional restaurant in the kampung area. Everything seems prefect to have a chance to dine in such beautiful and green environment but.... I am so sorry for them, I will not recommend this place for serious foodies and my friends. Simply the food here rather look good but absolutely tasteless. Take fried chicken for an example: its a simple dish and shouldn't go wrong with it but their fried chicken is tough and tasteless. I guess the chef are using frozen chicken and without pre-marinated sauces. My opinion is any road side chicken stall fried chicken are more tasty than their signature fried chicken. Steam egg crab dish inside crab shells also tasteless and the size is so miserable tiny small like for my little pet. Overall I should say don't waste your energy and efforts to travel all the way there from city center to try their food. NOTHING SPECIAL!
