The Kinneuchar Inn has been reborn after two years, and the food is inspired, delicious, and not expensive. A great meal can be had, a bowl of soup in the bar and a pint is also available, and chef James Ferguson is a welcome addition to Fife's food scene.
With only 32 seats, one must book, but believe me, it's worth the admin, it's worth the wait to slide into this story book town's modern restaurant and tuck into blissful food. Pheasant & trotter pie, sublime, and I don't even eat anything like that, ever, but I did, and home smoked sea trout with cucumber was utterly refreshing, then chocolate pot au creme with prunes, intense and sweet and you leave there very happy.
Thank you for splendid food, gracious and friendly staff and easy prices. Look out Fife, here is a new great place.
