KINTON RAMEN CARREFOUR LAVAL

Just wanted to try some ramen, and the old man (dad) has well. Excellent, full course meal entres, had the original beef ramen at first, than was hungry for more so had the origal porc ramen. Hab beer has well eith desert later on. 4 selections of cheese cakes. The people are very polite, so a great experience all in all. I did buy alot of food, the prices are reasonables.

I had a great experience. Great ramen with rich, flavorful broth and perfectly cooked noodles. The staff are friendly, the service is quick, and the vibe is cozy. Would definitely come back.

This location features a nice layout and decor for a ramen shop, but the ramen itself was very disappointing. The broth, foundation of good ramen, was simply missing the essential umami flavor. And the absence of key toppings was noticeable, For the price, this ramen simply didn't deliver.

I went there with my friends tonight and we absolutely loved the food and the atmosphere. Very lovely and cozy. Super nice staff as well, especially this waiter Raph, he made sure we were fine the whole time. Price-wise I think it is affordable for a nice filling meal as well (if you like garlic and spiciness, take the garlic series ones). I would absolutely love to go back again.

I ordered extra bean sprouts which costed 2$ extra and this is what I received. I told the waiter this can’t be right and if they can please bring me more, the manager said there was no mistake and this is the amount they give as an extra. Are you not embarrassed to charge 2 dollars for a dozen bean sprouts ? It’s too bad because I come here often and the soup was good but I’m turned off by the manager’s response and I can’t see myself returning after this awful customer service experience. Do better

I have been Kinton ramen everywhere but at Laval is the best by far, great service very kind waiter and waitress! Soup is perfect not too salty.

Food was really good! Lots to choose from and the waiter took time to explain to us the different choices without rushing us The atmosphere is very well decorated it’s just sometimes the temperature is inconvenient in the store. It’s either too cold or too hot. They need to bring down the fan a little There is plenty plenty of parking! Definitely make a stop over there. The food is really reallly good!

Very good ramen in Laval, they offer pork ramen, chicken and veggies. If you like pork that is the ramen for you. Everything is fresh and made to order. The appetizer pork gyozas are great as well. Staff speaks English and French. located next to the biggest mall in Canada in Laval, plenty of parking. Great spot for ramen on a cold day or every day.

A fast and simple place to grab a ramen. When we got there at 9PM, it was pretty empty with one other table around. Server was polite and helpful. We got their special, sesame soup base, and original soup base. The original soup base didn't have much flavor and a bit bland and the chasu was a bit tough. The sesame soup base ramen was flavorful. I personally preferred thick noodle as it had more chew and texture. It was a pretty good place for a quick late night grab without worrying about waiting.

Kinton still is the place for delicious flavourful Ramen in Laval. Their prices have gone up during COVID but I do appreciate the art of making tare and complex ramen broth is a long and tedious process. Their broth is layered with different flavours. Amazing on one of our cold winter evenings. Ramen does also work exceptionally well as a takeout item how they package it up! My fave is still the spicy chicken kaarage. Large succulent soy, ginger morsels of fried chicken in their soup broth. Heck yes! Still the benchmark for ramen in Laval! Ordering online is easy and they do have promos from time to time!

Yummm! This place was amazing. Clean, quick/ friendly service and great food! Bathrooms were so clean as well as the restaurant and kitchen as you can see it from your seat. Service was fast and food was hot, fresh and delicious. Will definitely be back when visiting Canada.

Have you ever asked for spice hoping you'll actually get some heat and wound up thoroughly dissapointed?  Well, not here!  As lovers of everything caliente we were pleasantly surprised to find incredible flavour in this great broth.  We also needed to try the sesame cheesecake because... Well it was black (it was also pretty good )

First time here. Wait was long but definitely worth it! The prices are very good. Big portions and inexpensive add-ons. The egg, noodles, pork, and broth were delicious.

Can't go wrong with Ramen on a cold day! Went in here just a bit before they closed. Had the spicy ramen and I loved it! The broth has so much flavor and the texture of the bork was great! I literally left nothing in my bowl... that's how you know it's good! Would definitely recommend and would go back anytime! Stay Cheerful ;)

Fantastic food, 100% recommended to those who love ramen. Even the lemonade is great; the environment is amicable as well.

Finally a proper ramen place in Laval! Kinton may be a franchise but they definitely have a great menu catered to the local population. I've had their ramen a few times and it's actually pretty decent. The bowls are a tad small and a tad pricey but I do strongly recommend the experience to newcomers. What I personally really enjoy are the other menu items they have. They have their fair share of hot & cold appetizers and I'm a HUGE fan of their karaage (Japanese style fried chicken) and pork dumplings! Some items though aren't worth the price. Check pictures accordingly. This location is very modern and slick. They greet you with a loud irasshaimase!!!!! Service is ALWAYS quick and friendly. Good place for a drink & eat with colleagues or friends.

So last Friday I had an appointment with apple store to fix my phone at the mall, but I had over 2 hours to spare before the appointment, so I went ahead and got into Kinton Ramen, staff was very kind and welcoming, I had the spicy garlic pork with thick noodles, with a seasoned egg inside as extra, before my soup arrived I was handed my hot karaage, chicken was juicy and tender with a nice kick on the spicy level, then my soup arrived, and let me tell, visually looked stunning, very good portion, and the taste was phenomenal, overall I was super satisfied, that today I ordered the same thing through Uber eats at my workplace, and the portion on the ramen did not disappoint, looking forward to become a regular there.

Two people on late Sunday excursion feeling hungry. I think this was a great time to drop in. We were greeted by a chant from the staff upon entering. Plenty of room to sit. First time here so we asked to explain the concept. Choose your meat, your broth, your noodles and any addons. It's served to you quite quickly. Very tasty dish. We chose different meats. Both great dishes. I loved the marinated egg. We'll be back

3/5 Added an additional star because we FINALLY have a ramen spot in Laval. Tried the original pork ramen with a chashu don side. Broth was missing the ramen goodness we usually find in good spots. The pork was so so as well, tasted too much like burnt smoke, but overall a good experience.

The ramen shop is located near the Carrefour Laval shopping mall. I went there on the official opening day, there was a 50% off on regular ramen. I arrived at about 4pm waited for about 15-20 min to have seat for 3 persons. I ordered a okonomiyaki (japanese pancake) as an appetizer and a spicy pork ramen (with thick noodles and pork belly) as my main dish. The okonomiyaki was good, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. 3.5/5 The spicy ramen was also pretty good. The broth is creamy and rich in flavour. You really taste the garlic but I personally think that it has a little bit too much. The texture of the noodle is perfect, I really like the fact that you get a bite of it. I also want to point out that the spicy pork ramen doesn't come with an egg unlike the original pork ramen. So I'm giving a 4/5. I personally prefer the original pork ramen which I already tried before. As for the services, it was good despite the fact it was the first official opened day. Conclusion Finally a great place to eat ramen in Laval!

Found some plastic in my ramen and the takoyaki wasn't warm. It was really disappointing. I used to love going there but the quality has gone down and it's pricy for 3 pieces of chicken... please give it a chance and hopefully you'll get it plastic free!

I am someone who got introduced to Ramen a couple of years ago. I tried different places and i was always on the lookout for a Ramen joint in laval to finally show up and it did ! I was driving around in the cold this week and wanted something that would just heat my belly and i found Kinton ramen. I got inside and found that everything is super well decorated. There is plenty of seating area and there is even a bar which you can sit and watch the cooks to their thing. The bowl in which the ramen comes in o Is also very good looking. The menu for the ramen is very straight forward and you can easily choose what you want in your bowl of Ramen. There is also in the menu other things you can order if you would like to try something else. My spicy pork ramen with the egg was so good and the broth was so thick and full of taste that i nearly ordered a second one ! The thick noodles were awesome,the egg was absolutely perfect and the water tasted like it came straight from the source. I got the chance to talk a bit with the chefs and including the chef owner. He told me that he had 23 years of experience of doing Ramen and it all started in Japan ! I will definitely go back again and i am bringing friends next time ! Little note: You will love the way they greet you out ! :)

Great atmosphere and healthy portion on ramen. Service was a bit slow (Saturday night) but good overall. I would bring my family back.

!!!! A new ramen place has just opened in laval!! Although I missed their opening (along with a 50% off their ramen), I was able to make it 2 weeks later on a Wednesday evening. We were nicely greeted by all staff, and seated quickly. The restaurant is nice, clean and modern. Plenty of space to sit comfortably. Unfortunately we didn't find any high chair nor did they offered, but we did get a spot on the bench where my toddler could " sit " and move easily. They have a good menu selection, choices of cold/hot tapas and a few specials ramens (pork, chicken or vegetarian). We opted for the original pork ramen, the garlic spicy pork ramen along with the original fried chicken. It was pretty tasty, even though my husband had to scoop out more than a tablespoon of chopped garlic from his soup before eating it. My little one, almost ate all of the fried chicken by himself (it was that good)! To my surprise, we saw a special promotion... they offered free dessert if you share an Instagram post of the restaurant, which I did. The matcha cheesecake was delicious!!!! Would definitely return when craving for good ramen! Proximity to home along with easy parking are a plus!!!

Service was fast and food hit the spot craving we had for ramen. Maybe not the most authentic but good enough. Down points are no wifi, chairs are uncomfortable and service feels rushed. Probably because they want to turn around of clients to be fast so they can make more $$$$

We looked up a few places in Laval during our visit to Montreal, and were excited to try out Kinton Ramen. The ramen didn't disappoint, it was really good, I enjoyed the Shoyu Chicken ramen which I ordered as part of the $69 special "family" ramen combination, which includes four ramen bowls (Regular or Shoyu, none of the "special" ramens), two starters, and four soft drinks, which is a great deal. There were a few weird things that happened during the whole experience of dining there, though. First, the person who took our order, came by within minutes of us just finishing the starters (our ramen wasn't even brought to us yet), and he asked if we were ready for the check. I didn't understand why he would ask that, so I asked him to repeat his question twice, before I had to tell him that we didn't even get our meals yet. Second, some of our ramen didn't get the seasoned egg in the bowl, when we should have, and for the other bowls, including mine, the egg was included when it shouldn't have been. The Shoyu shouldn't get an egg unless I added it as an additional item, which I didn't, but I got the egg anyway. Pretty inconsistent. Third, when my bowl was given to me, the person said it was the Shoyu Chicken, thin noodles, but I ordered the thick noodles, so I had to wait longer for my order, the other three were fine, except for the egg experience above. I thought the food overall was still good, but the service prevented me from giving this better than 3 stars.

So far I'm really like Kinton Laval had great service and great tasting ramen . I had the miso soup chicken the fried dumplings and the kimchi enjoyed everything it's about time we get something new and tasty in laval. If your to lazy y travel you can order in with Uber eats I've been spamming them for a while.

This is my favourite Ramen place so far that I tried ! Friendly service , great variety of appetizers and Ramen soups of course We started with the Karage Eoice -Spicy fried chicken with chilli sauce ; Age Gyoza -fried raviolis stuffed with pork and mayonnaise and sweet chilli sauce on top . Both delicious ! Ramen -we chose base of spicy garlic and pork broth , with thin noodles and pork belly Omg was delicious and filling and nicely spicy too Will definitely be returning many times over !!

This place is amazing!!! We tried the monthly special soup and the spicy garlic soup. With the original karaage. Everything was so tasty. The spicy soup was WAY too spicy for me though. The place was beautifully decorated. I'll definitely go back to try the takoyaki and okonomiyaki. The one thing I didn't like was the noise level honestly you almost have to scream to be heard.

(Version française en bas) Went there on a Friday night with my friend who LOVES this place. We arrived at around 18h and the place was already packed! We waited for about 10 minutes but we didn't mind the wait. We ordered the Karaage chicken and the Pork Gyoza as entrées. They were SO GOOD! So flavorful and both sauces weren't too spicy so can be enjoyed by people who can't handle spiciness very well. I took the spicy chicken Jalapeño ramen and my friend took the special of the month: the Kurogoma tan tan men. We got the food after I would say about 10-15 minutes and the entrées came at the same time as the ramen which is nice because when we wanted a break from the ramen we could just eat the entrées. My ramen was SPICY; which is good because I LOVE spicy food. My friend's ramen was also soooo good and flavorful. Our water cups didn't get refilled fast though and we had to wait a long time to get our bill but that was because of the one server who kept forgetting us so I don't blame the whole restaurant because some people came after us and left before us. The high chairs near the windows aren't very comfortable so if you need a comfy chair, not the place to come. You can also personalize your own ramen bowl for extra too which is nice for picky eaters. The Japanese tea was also good and it came with a little bowl to put your tea bag in which I rarely see in restaurants and very much appreciated it. The bathrooms are also VERY clean. Will come again! ~~~ French version: Je suis allée avec mon amie qui adore ce restaurent un vendredi soir. On est arrivée dans les environ de 18h et c'était déjà plein donc on a dû attendre 10-15 minutes. On a commandé le poulet Karaage épicé et les Gyoza au porc en entrée et c'était tellement bon! La sauce des deux entrées étaient épicées, mais pas trop donc même ceux qui ne peuvent pas manger trop épicés peuvent les aimer aussi. J'ai pris le ramen Jalapeño au poulet et mon amie a pris le spécial du mois: le ramen Kurogoma tan tan men. Le mien était TRÈS épicé, ce qui est bien parce que j'adore la nourriture épicé! Celui de mon amie était aussi très bon et avait beaucoup de goût! J'ai commandé le thé japonais et ça venait avec un petit bol pour mettre le sac de thé ce que j'ai apprécié beaucoup. Ils ne passent pas souvent avec de l'eau par contre et nous avons dû attendre très longtemps pour notre facture, mais c'était seulement la faute de notre serveuse qui nous oubliait constamment. Des clients qui étaient arrivés après nous sont partis avant nous. Les chaises hautes au bord de la fenêtre ne sont pas très confortables, mais les salles de bain sont très propres! Je vais définitivement revenir!

Nous sommes venue pour l'expérience Ramen avec les enfants et ils nous demande d'attendre dehors pendant que une table se libère. Nous avons dû quitter parce qu'il faisait trop froid... mauvaise expérience malheureusement...

Had a great meal, and it was really affordable. Went with the spicy pork ramen, takowasabi, and tofu furai. They were all delicous. The atmosphere was friendly and casual and the staff was awesome. They noticed it wasn't spicy enough for me so they brought me over some togarashi. Spiced it up. Highly recommend this place. Wish there was a place like this in the states.

I tried the special ramen at KR in Saint-Catherine street. The gyoza one is so good, especially the sauce. Tender inside and crispy outside, flavorful. The ramen is ok. When I realized that they put the fresh chopped garlic on, I was freaking out cause the flavor is way too strong and I can't handle the smell. I tried to wash it down with 2 cups of boba and cocktails but it doesn't go away . The ramen is special because it goes with the sauce and you have to mix it up. The flavor of sauce+ ramen is good. Just sad because of the garlic.

Great service and great food. The waiting list feature is brilliant. I recommend making the English on the menus more legible, a gray font on a black background is hard to read. Loved it though, definately going back.

We are so super happy to have a ramen shop close to home. As this place is a chain, I will say that the execution of it's dishes might not be as perfect as some of the places downtown but they are consistently good. We've come multiple times for lunch, we've had the regular, the spicy garlic and the fried chicken monday special ramen bowls. The spicy garlic is a wee bit too spicy for me, the fried chicken ramen is good but heavy... all in all, I'm a huge fan of the regular. Their gyoza is very well fried, their basket of edamame is large, their fried chicken is good, for me, they're not perfect because I prefer mine a bit more dry and cripsy but that's personal taste. The place is huge, there is ample parking, this will continue to be a regular lunch spot for us.

Food is great as it is at all Kinton locations, service is fast and everything is clean. I appreciate that it is a larger and spacier location as opposed to the Montreal ones.

Pretty top notch ramen options. So good in fact, that I forgot to take my usual photos of the dishes. This is a chain so I'm just reviewing the Laval location's staff and food. Staff was super attentive and pleasant. Food was really good, table for 9, everyone tried something different and no one was disappointed. Will be back!

Enjoyed this place very much. Food, ambiance, service and affodable. Had the vegetarian ramen, could of used some japanese mushrooms and tofu over the large amount of corn but still delicious. We enjoyed the fried tofu and kimchee as well.

Family friendly and excellent ramen! I was there with my mom and my three daughters (5,10,12) The menú for 4 was perfect for us!

I decided to go try it out for lunch and I asked of i could order the vegetarian ramen and just switch the broth to the spicy garlic. She told me no they don't do modifications. Then I asked since I don't eat meat if I could not have the pork in the spicy garlic ramen and just have an egg. She said the only way would be to charge me $2. I'm like what?! An egg is cheaper for the restaurant than the meat! Are you kidding me?! I've worked at some restaurants in my life and if you can't do the simplest of modifications then you should NOT be open. I was so upset. I'm definitely NEVER going back!

Very good food and price point. We shared 3 appetizers, kimchi, gyoza, and fried chicken. All inexpensive and delicious. We also ordered two Ramen soups, the original pork with egg and spicy garlic pork. We both preferred the spicy one.

Been twice. The screaming and yelling loses it cuteness the second time around, but everything we've eaten has been
