I live in a very bland city north of Toronto with options only just starting to become more varied in the last few years. So getting to have a nice bowl of ramen like this always makes me happy if we end up near one. I haven't been a lot of places to compare but Kinto has been pretty tasty every time we've been able to go.

Great experience at KINTON RAMEN! I had the spicy garlic ramen and Tokyo fries combo – both were super tasty and filling. Friendly atmosphere, smiley staff, and generous portions. Definitely coming back!

Honest Reviews

Google
Great service great food. Highly recommend their spicy beef. It was very flavourful. Got Miso chicken and spicy beef. Both were great. Their drinks are good too.

I had the spicy garlic pork ramen and loved it. The broth was tasty but not overpowering (like I sometimes feel at my other fave - Santouka), the pork was flavourful, and the noodles had the right amount of bite. Service was good. I’ll be back. 😊

Google
Probably the worst ramen experience I ever had (still, it was ramen so it wasn’t atrocious but there really are better ramen places). My girlfriend and I walked into the place without being greeted or anything (other customers were, they were also told goodbye as they left we weren’t). After sitting it took a while for the waitress to come take our order, so eventually I just had to get up to go to the front to place it (they then told me to sit back and came to me). Moving on, the order came pretty fast which was nice, but the food was lackluster. I got the burnt shoyu ramen, and it just was not that good; the broth unflavoured and diluted, the egg overdone, and barely any bamboo shoots. The pork was fine but that’s about it. Honestly, just an unmemorable and mildly disappointing eating experience. Many other, better, ramen places in town. Don’t particularly recommend. Forgot to mention, or maybe didn’t make clear enough but waitress serving us had a general rude attitude. Also I ordered thick noodles and they gave me thin. PLEASE READ: listen it was ramen so it was still good, my review is just my experience but end of the day listen to your tummy and follow where it wants to go

Google
I recently tried the ramen here, and it was absolutely incredible! The broth was rich and spicy, packed with bold flavors. The tender pork melted in your mouth, the chili pepper provided a nice kick, while the garlic ball—oh, the garlic ball—was a game changer! Pro tip: be sure to mix the garlic ball well into the ramen before you start eating. I learned this the hard way when I bit into it whole, and let's just say it was a bit much! Once it's blended in, though, it enhances the dish perfectly with that garlicky goodness. Overall, this ramen is a must-try for spice lovers and garlic fans. Can’t wait to come back!

Google
Do yourself a favour and don’t order the two for one ramen chicken special. They have cut their costs by only including one small piece of chicken. Better to get just one and have a decent amount included. It was still good, just very disappointed with the protein portion in a $25 - $30 bowl of ramen.

Google
Got pork miso ramen with thin noodles on a late night. AC was kind of broken of very hot days. Service was great but broth is a bit salty. Overall good ramen place.

Google
This was my first time going out to eat ramen and it was a pleasant experience. Staff and atmosphere were both nice and welcoming. Server was quick in taking my order. I got the Meal for One, which I got the Original Pork Ramen, the Pork Gyoza and a soda pop. I think the food took no more than 15 - 20 minutes to come out. It was tasty and definitely hit the spot on a cold day.

Yelp
Amazing ramen and they always have interesting drink specials here. Service is prompt and it's a bustling busy place. If you like soup this is a great place to try.

Yelp
The restaurant is clean, and we went for dinner on Tuesday night, so it wasn't that busy. The open windows are a great touch, letting in lots of natural lighting. Wait staff were friendly, and were able to tell us things about the menu. We ordered the pork special combo with yuzu lemonade with alcohol, Tokyo fries and I can't say the ramen dish was anything special. It tasted like soy water. Broth was not satisfying, and it has two pieces of port which was nice. The Tokyo fries were quite a small portion. I was expecting more to be completely honest, but what ever fries they used were perfect! The yuzu lemonade kinda tasted like nail polish remover, I wish it had a touch more soda water, to dilute the alcohol, it was kinda strong for my liking. The fried squid balls this time around were just terrible. They were soft and mushy. I think they were sitting for too long in the bbq sauce to be nice and crunchy. The veggie soup with garlic was simply amazing. And is consistent every time! The tofu was very thinly sliced. I wish there was more than one piece in my soup, however it came with ear mushroom, corn and green onion. This really is my go to menu item! If you like spice, the. This dish is for you!

Yelp
I just love ramen and Kinton's flavour is right up my alley. I like when my food is flavourful and salty. I've never tried their donburi before so I decided to order the lunch special of plain ramen and pork donburi. It was a good choice. Very full. I asked for hot sauce on the side which was surprisingly spicy enough. My colleague gave me some of his garlic mash as his bowl had too much, not sure if it was the garlic or the hot sauce, I had a bit of a cough, but no biggy. There weren't too many people on Friday lunch time which was surprising maybe because it was a bit hot outside for noodle soup, good for us though because the food came very fast and we were both very satisfied.

Yelp
This place was great! Super close to our hotel, fast service. Customizable ramen with happy hour specials. Chill ambiance in a cozy space. Would definitely recommend!

Yelp
The Ramen here at Kinton was very tasty and flavorful. There is a good amount of pork in the original ramen. You have a choice between thin and thick noodles. Service was pretty quick and the vibes inside were great.
google avatar

Keith W.

Yelp
Another staple location for my favourite ramen noodle establishment. The noodles and service were great as expected. The wait time was alright, but the egg for this location was quite a ways different in terms of flavour and texture. Other than that, it hosts a cozy atmosphere for some good chats/talks to be had

Yelp
Best ramen in the city hands down. I love the gyozas more than anything. The patio is so cute in the summer time. Servers are so friendly.

Yelp
To be honest, this was a happy accident. I initially just wanted a light snack for supper so I intended to go to an izakaya, which just so happens to be right next to Kinton ramen. Being a bit tired, I didn't even bother looking at the restaurant name and sat down, naively assuming the Japanese nature of the restaurant was the izakaya I intended to go to. However, I was happily surprised by how delicious and creamy the spicy amaze mazemen was! Although the beer combo was amazing, upgrading it to the special ramen cost 3 dollars extra, which I didn't realize until the bill came (kind of wished the staff told me it would cost extra when I asked about whether the beer combo applied to the special ramens). Nonetheless, the ramen was amazing and the noodle texture had a firm bite to it, which was great! Definitely check this place out if you're looking for a heavy meal and be careful if you intend to go to the izakaya, for they are LITERALLY next to each other haha :p

Yelp
Solid noodles and portion size, lacking in the flavour department Service: The staff were nice and friendly, and welcoming. Generally out of the way unless you needed them, and they had quite a bit of area to cover as the patio was open as well. Food: The noodle size was quite generous, it was definitely enough to fill a hungry appetite but there wasn't a lot of the extras (a few slices of pork, an egg). It was my first time trying tsukemen, but I can imagine the broth from other restaurants being more creamy and less watery/soy sauce. The freshly-grated wasabi added some nice flavour, but there wasn't much else to the broth where you dip the noodles in. The karaage was nicely flavoured with the lemon and mayo, although I would have liked to see another piece or two. Overall, the portions were decent, but the ramen flavour needed some work. Atmosphere: The place was very clean, with wood tones throughout and what you would expect from a ramen shop. Great for all types of customers and very accommodating, although the indoor space was a bit small. Overall: Pretty decent spot for some tsukemen (summer special offering), fills you up and hits the spot.

Yelp
Came in for lunch with a small group. Ordered a Karaage Chicken Spicy Ramen with thick noodles. I was impressed. The food was delicious and the spice was perfect. I enjoyed it immensely. The service was friendly and ok. The decor was fine and the restaurant was clean. The stools were a bit uncomfortable for some of the group. Would certainly recommend this restaurant and would definitely come back again.

Yelp
Chicken shoyu Was excellent, try the thick noodle... or not. Quick service and friendly staff. I like the $19.99 special w beer

Yelp
An underwhelming bowl of ramen underserving of its current 4.4 rating. Broth - 2/5 thick but the only flavor I tasted was salt even though I ordered miso. There was no miso flavor in sight. Broth was disappointing bordering on sad for something so thick. Topping 3/5 - by default it came with pork, corn, and some scallions. I added an egg for $2. The chasu was alright. The egg was meh. The corn is well, just corn. Noodles 4/5 - thick noodles were solid, chewy, and cooked well. Unfortunately all 3 components of the ramen bowl didn't come together. Service was on the good side although a little strict. My water was refilled 3 times which is a ding of attentiveness. Venue was at 50% capacity and was moderately decorated.

Yelp
Enjoyed the chicken miso and gyoza. Both very tasty. Service was really fast despite the place being packed. Sat at the bar area with 2 of my friends and enjoyed our night out.

Yelp
I've only had Kinton once before in Montreal but it was years ago so I decided to give it another try. The food here was decent, but there was nothing that stood out to me. I had the Spicy Veggie Miso Ramen which came with corn, wood-ear mushrooms, lots of raw garlic and fried tofu. The broth had a good spice to it but the flavour was a little one dimensional. The toppings were pretty standard but they were fresh enough. The fried tofu was WAY too sweet -- I don't typically eat sugar so maybe my palette isn't accustomed to sweets, but this tasted like it was candied. I had one bite and that was enough for me. The kimchi I had on the side was crunchy with a nice kick to it, but it tasted like it was store bought. The staff were friendly and very accommodating which was nice to see. Overall, I probably won't be going back to this restaurant, but if you want to give it a try, then do so knowing that it will satisfy your craving.

Yelp
Cold, windy, rainy, stormy winter day = the perfect time for ramen! Our server was so lovely & made great suggestions. I went with the 3-Course Meal (Veggie Gyoza/Edamame + Spicy Garlic Rame + Mango Cheese Cake) So good although as a spice lover, I was blown away by just HOW SPICY the broth was! So delicious but the sweet waitress helpfully suggested bringing me more broth to mellow it out. Great experience!

Len L.

Yelp
Good food good service. I like the original karage and original scpicy pork ramen. The soup was delicious. Good food good service. I like the original karage and original scpicy pork ramen. The soup was delicious

Yelp
An all-around great experience! When it's 1' (34 for my fellow Americans) and rainy, what you really want is some soul warming soup and shelter from the elements. Sure, I walked in the rain like a damn fool for a few blocks to get here but I'm glad I did. The ramen was NOT what I was expecting. Typically I expect ramen broth to be thick and heavy whereas the broth here is light with a faint sweetness. I got the pork original -- why not go with the mainstay on a first visit -- and some chicken karaage. The noodles were thin and with bite. The ramen was hot, came out quick and was filling and delicious. The only knock I have is that the egg was cold in the center which was disappointing. Why not cut the egg and let the broth heat it? It's what I did and all was good after some fixing. The chicken thighs were enough for two to share. Fried crispy and delicious. I got the hot / spicy version which had a sweet-hot sticky sauce on it. IMO ask for sauce on the side. Pro tip: Ask for some dry chili flakes to step up the punchiness if you're into that.

Yelp
Stopped here last week for some Ramen in the cold weather. That's the best thing in the world! :) One of my friends is vegetarian and he got good options to order veggie ramen! I ordered one with chicken and spicy (don't remember the name now) but everything was tasty! We will come back again! Please keep vegetarian options on!! Thanks @KintonRamen
google avatar

Alekhya M.

Yelp
We ordered takeout when they were running specials. Granted that ramens are best eaten in the restaurant but the takeout experience was just as good. I loved the fact that they have veggie ramen which surprisingly I'm finding hard to get in restaurants here. The vegetables are fresh and crunchy and the ramen quality is also good. They also made it spicy upon request. The staff was friendly and appreciated the tip. I can't wait to go back now that the patio is open and it looks so good with all the Chinese lanterns hanging.

Yelp
A superior meal this evening at Kinton, where I sat at the bar and had a waiter who had a great sense of humor. Friendly, attentive and helpful in navigating their (not very complicated) menu. I opted for the combo, which includes a bowl of ramen and one of their appetizers. The gyoza were tasty and freshly prepared and not terribly drowned in their spicy and creamy sauce. Very hot and a little spicy but delicious. My ramen arrived not long after, the pork original. They also offer chicken broths and a vegetarian for folks who prefer. Tasty, rich broth, nicely cooked noodles and even though the egg went last, it was still firmly cooked and a little soft from the hot broth. Delicious. They do have bottled and draft beer, I had a 16 ounce pint of Sapporo. A big bowl of soup, well loaded with pork, nori and scallions. I enjoyed it immensely. [Review 10971 overall, 743 of 2019.]

Yelp
Good service. Good place. Best ramen. I really enjoyed have time and food. Hot ramen make me warm.

Yelp
I love this restaurant the ambience fits the overall japanese vibe of the place. My favourite item they serve is the pork miso ramen with a seasoned egg and nori with thick noodles. I wrote this review for free matcha ice cream which tastes delicious.
google avatar

Yelp
This was-believe it or not-my first ramen experience and it set the bar high to what a good ramen meal should be like. There's an awesome combo where you can get an appetizer and a ramen dish, plus a dessert for a little extra. It's the best way to get a mix of everything the restaurant has to offer. I especially liked how you could choose the thickness of the noodles, which was extreme attention to detail that showed they cared for a pleasurable experience. The pork gyoza was super crispy on the outside and flavorful on the inside. the chili mayo added a little acidity and spiciness to the dish that I enjoyed. The original pork ramen was so flavorful and delicious, with the pork, egg, and scallions adding perfect texture to the dish. The broth really carried in the noodles and it was a fulfilling, satisfying dish. For dessert, I got the matcha cheesecake, which was creamy but light enough to eat after some hearty ramen. My guest had the soymilk black sesame pudding, which was also very good and light. This place treats you like family, with a hearty hello when you enter and well wishes when you leave. There's also a reward system based off of how many ramen bowls you finish which I think is super cool. Next time I am in the area, I will be coming back!

Yelp
Great (and only) ramen experience in Toronto during my visit. We went quite late at night and I was not very hungry (nauseous from the train ride) so I shared one miso chicken ramen (added egg) and salad with my mom while my brother finished off this extra meat japaleno chicken ramen. I liked how they use chicken breast but it stayed moist and went well with the broth. The noodles they use are the thicker kind which i prefer as they are chewy and toothsome! The egg was also well We also added a spicy chicken kaarage to share and boy it was SPICY. The red sauce shows you just a glimpse of the fire thats about the ensue. Overall, great ramen with a choice of some customization and reasonable prices. Seating is not too comfortable here though.

Yelp
KINTON Ramen offers a decent amount of selections. I got the Pork ramen in a spicy garlic broth with a combo and it was amazing! Their Gyoza is one of my favourite dishes ever! The Hojicha pudding was also very good! The staff is also very nice and friendly!
google avatar

Angela F.

Yelp
These noodles are so satisfying! Ordered the spicy pork garlic ramen with kimchi as a side. The broth was flavourful and the garlic wasn't too overpowering like I've experienced at other locations. The ramen noodles were cooked perfectly firm and carried the spicy broth well. A shame that it's too far from where I am for delivery, but I can't wait to visit again when I am nearby!
google avatar

Katrina X.

Yelp
Kinton ramen is the neighbourhood watering hole that you didn't realize you needed. Recently they up'd their menu by adding more vegetarian options for your picky friend. I personally go for the tofu furai, I have in many a wild kitchen adventure attempted to make it at home and have completely failed. So I keep going back to get them. It's basically like a tofu nugget but with extra yummy veggies inside of it.
google avatar

Vivian C.

Yelp
this kinton location is absolutely amazing. the ramen is arrived quickly and tasted amazing. the only downside i would say to this location is that it's really small and the seats are slightly cramped which is not the restaurants fault. overall amazing!

Zet Z.

Yelp
Horrendous taste. Chicken karaage fried without skin, lack of the tasty oil flavour. Seasoned throughoutly, but the spices are blend. Pork Miso ramen is a bloody disaster. Broth is just not miso flavour, presumably made with broth concentrate and water. Chasu was only torched on one side and poorly marinated, no oily aroma or the taste of mixture between shoyu and sugar. The noodle itself is machine-made, prepackaged from the factory. Kinton did well in terms of localization and marketing strategies, however, sacrificed taste to an extent of incompetent when comparing with some other ramen shops in town. Had to go to Ikkousha the second day to refresh my Ramen memory (not sponsored by Ikkousha...I do hope so however).
google avatar

Dennis C.

Yelp
Great service in a trendy environment. Found the experience at this location superior to the one in Richmond Hill. Portions were a bit larger and the taste was above average (vs average in the other location). The special they is really good-the chicken was cooked well and not greasy. We ordered the spicy pork and spicy chicken ramen and found the soup broth for the chicken better. The pork was a "typical" spicy hot we get everywhere whereas the chicken was a little more creamy and unique. Unlike most places downtown, parking is not a big issue (at night) due to lots of spaces on Church and also on the side street. Parking is free after 9pm. The parking lot beside is NOT free at anytime though.

Yelp
My 3rd Kinton location! When we first walked in at around 11:30am, it was pretty empty. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, that when you first walk in, they all shout hello to you in Japanese. It really makes you smile. I ordered the Pork Spicy Garlic Ramen with Chicken instead & added Seaweed with thick noodles. My sister ordered the Vegetarian Ramen, which is full of fresh veggies and topped with Tofu Furai. We actually also got an order of Tofu Furai as an appetizer and it was delicious! Lastly, as we got ready to leave, all the staff shouted goodbye to us in Japanese. I've gone to multiple Kinton locations in the GTA, I can confidently say, they serve some great Ramen!
google avatar

Kevin G.

Yelp
The worst ramen I've had in Toronto so far. The noodles are too oily so you get absolutely no flavour from the broth while slurping it up. Not really much else to say about them. Location is nice and seating isn't too crammed like some places do.
google avatar

Nico C.

Yelp
Creamy and tasty ramen, hits the spot no matter what the season is! Their ramen and beer special for $18.99 is a must.
google avatar

Alice Y.

Yelp
Ramen is not quite like Japan but kinton is always a pleasant ramen spot. Their pork soup is very flavorful, not incredibly over salted and the right amount of cream (not too creamy and not too watery) This location runs similar to all the other locations in the city so it's great that it's become kind of a trusted place to go for your hit of ramen!
google avatar

Anna G.

Yelp
Disappointed with the vegetarian ramen. I found the vegetarian ramen lacking flavour. The broth needed something more. A miso-based broth might have done the trick. Though, I did really like the breaded tofu included with the ramen. I hope they add more vegetarian options to the menu!
google avatar

Bonnie W.

Yelp
Staff were attentive! We ordered the set menu special and the the two chicken apps were very tasty. If they had them on the menu I would order them again!

Yelp
KINTON is always a go to for ramen because they always serve with consistency and quality. I came with a group of 6 people on a Sunday night and surprisingly we were seated fairly quickly. the service was good in the beginning as they quickly came with our water and took our orders. I chose to get the original pork since it was the only one that and with an egg and I love eggs!! the food did take a very very long time which is why I had to deduct a star. it took more than 30 minutes which is unusually long and I haven't had this type of wait for a long time. when the food finally arrived it was all presented beautifully and my friend that got the vegetarian ramen got a huge bowl. for my original pork ramen I liked the consistency of the thick ramen as it was nice and chewy. The egg had to be my favourite part as it was runny and had its own sweet flavour. my friend got the same thing in the thin and I would have to say comparing the two thick is much better. thin resembles vermicelli in my opinion. the soup wasn't my favourite but it was flavourful and wasn't too overly salty. The pork slices were thick and fatty - the perfect combo 4/5 I also tried my friends vegetarian ramen and it had sooooo much noodle - she could only finish half ! It had a lot of veggies included but she thought the soup was a little bland for her taste 3/5 overall I would come to kinton again but I would expect a long wait time since the day I went it wasn't busy but still a long wait so something to take note of

Yelp
Was it the best ramen I've ever had? No..but it was very good! We were looking for a place close to our AirBnB in Toronto and stumbled upon this gem based on yelp reviews from other people. We ordered the pork original and the pork shoyu and they were both good. We also got the age gyoza for an appetizer which was also good! Great flavor in all the dishes and was not over salty as a lot of places I've been to are. We did take out and the woman on the phone was really nice. When we got to the restaurant it was packed so it must be a popular place and we found out why. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for good ramen in the area.

Abigail D.

Yelp
I always thought I wasn't an ramen fan, maybe a bad experience from a few years ago. But I thought the Beef ramen from Kinton was very delicious! I thought the portion size was great and seasoning was delicious.
google avatar

Eula B.

Yelp
Ordered the January special for 2019. The Nokou Tonkatsu Miso. The broth is really thick, very savoury and I enjoyed the taste because I was specifically craving for something very very savoury that day. Noodles were al dente and that's what I like about this specific kinton location. They're consistent. Staff were usual friendly. Enjoyed every toppings as well.

Yelp
My friend took me here. Their portions are super filling so do not come here if you already ate! The place has a very nice atmosphere and the servers are very nice! The place is super clean and the prices are not bad! You must try their TAKOYAKI balls, they are amazzzzzzzzing. They are sooooo goood and worth coming back for! Their ramen is pretty delicious too!

Yelp
One of my favourite ramen place! Multiple locations in Toronto, and this one is located 2 min walk from Ryerson Campus. What an amazing combo~ I absolutely love their Mondays Exclusive Karaage Ramen! The texture and crunch from the large pieces of deep fried, crispy juicy chicken karaage with delicious spicy garlic tonkotsu broth. The spiciness is well balanced, and does not over power the levels of richness and flavour in their soup. The large portion of their thick chewy ramen noodle is also super filling. The spicy pork garlic has the exact same soup base as the Karaage Spicy, but basically served different pork belly topping. the piece was huge, but just a little bit fatty. Mainly pork and chicken option, 1 vegetarian ramen option. All of their ramen thin and thick noodle choices and extra toppings available to add on as well Aside from ramen, they also have desserts. I personally like the pudding over the green tea ice cream, because the matcha ice cream wasn't the creamy kind, was super hard (felt like right out of the freezer). Karaage Spicy Ramen - $16.99 Karaage Shoyu Ramen - $16.99 Pork Spicy Garlic Ramen - $12.99 Pork Original Ramen - $12.99

Yelp
I'm a regular here and the service and food never disappoints. Today my friend and I had: Spicy garlic ramen 4/5 - tastes great. I enjoy the spice but get ready for garlic breath obviously Classic shoyu ramen 5/5 - I wasn't sure how I would feel about anchovies in ramen but was surprise there was a bit of smoky flavour to it Black sesame soy milk pudding 4/5 - was light and tasty. Had a great nutty flavour and wasn't too sweet for me.
google avatar

Chusa N.

Yelp
Came in to try the January special before the month ended. I wish I tried it sooner, because I'm going to miss it when it's gone. Each bowl comes with two generous slices of pork belly, ground pork, veggies, corn, and a whole seasoned egg. The broth for the nokou tonkotsu miso ramen was very flavourful, with a bit of spice to balance out the richness. The pork belly was super tender, while the corn and ground pork added a nice touch of sweetness. I did find the broth a bit too salty, but my friend didn't mind it as much. Our waitress came by pretty frequently to refill water, so that helped.

Yelp
I would say Kinton never disappoints my stomach. But this was my first time eating in this location and I like the interior spacing. It is much more easy to walk around compare to the other locations. Staff are very friendly and never forget about our drinks. Yes, the other location forget our drinks. I ordered the spicy garlic ramen, and I would say this is the best I ever tasted because the saltiness and the spicy of the soup is right on the money. And the thin noodles are so tender and chewy :: 5 stars.

Yelp
#191 Near Ryserson University and Starbucks on Toronto's famous Church Street, this is one of several locations of this restaurant. With a $14.99 lunch special with a $1 drink add-on of some kind of soda or the green tea (attached picture), you cannot go wrong. Today's trip included the spicy garlic with pork, thin noodles (pictured), and chiki chiki don (not pictured) with a coke as my drink. And it is NOT white people spicy!! Tender noodles and plenty of pepper and scallions. Definitely a good find in a cozy atmosphere. Clean and airy, great music so definitely a date spot. Guessing it's also a student hangout so people watching is recommended if not required. Parking, forget about it. Walk, taxi, or transit best for this location. If you are wandering why it is not a 5 star rating, check out my review of Vancouver's Ramen Danbo on Robson Street, https://www.yelp.com/biz/ramen-danbo-vancouver?hrid=lMEoo1pYee0ObaOxPAznPg&utm_source=ashare&ref=yelp-android Still coming back though...

Yelp
Making my way through the Kinka family of restaurants, I was invited to Kinton Ramen 5. Never having ramen at a restaurant, I thought it was just soup. Well....I was quote wrong. First off....This location is BUSY! Go early! Like the Kinka Izikaya locations, you are greeted by all of the staff when you arrive and when you leave. Noise level is loud, but you get used to it. Made me want to yell something too! We grabbed seats at the bar and got some delicious Sapporo. I ordered Gyoza to start and the Original Pork Ramen with thick noodles and the seasoned egg. My friend got the Hot Karaage and Spicy Garlic Pork Ramen with thick noodles and the seasoned egg. Are you noticing a trend on the seasoned egg? GET IT. It's surprisingly delicious, you won't regret it. I eat a lot of eggs at home and I would trade all of them for seasoned eggs from Kinton Ramen. Our bowls arrived, piled high with pork and veggies. It smelled amazing. There were so many toppings, it took me awhile to find the ramen! These are large bowls; even with an empty tummy, it was a challenge. The pork belly was fantastic; so tender and full of flavour. It was sliced very thin, making it easy to eat without splashing broth all over you. The Hot Karaage was hot! My friend was sniffling and loved every bite. The sauce was good and hot on the fried chicken. The gyoza was crisp and drizzled with sweet chili sauce. I offered my friend one and I was secretly happy she didn't take me up on it. I heart gyoza. We found out that if you finish the bowl, you get a photo with the super awesome enthusiastic staff. I WANTED IT SO BAD! Someone had their photo taken while we were there and we got super jealous. Service was alright, but the place was packed! Not a seat in the house. There are lots of servers, so don't wait for the original one you talked to if you need something, they all help each other! A great vibe at this place. I've already planned my next visit!

Yelp
I was downtown with a friend and got hungry, so we decided to get a quick bite here since Kinka wasn't open until another hour later. We were asked to fill our our info on a form (for covid tracking purposes), and walked to their patio which was previously their parking lot. Tables were space a safe distance from each other and we were given a QR code to scan on our phones for a menu. We ordered the Sapporo beer special for $3.99 and each got a ramen. It was a hot day that day, so the Sapporo went really well with our ramen. I ordered the Maze Maze Mazemen and my friend ordered the Pork Miso. For whatever reason, I thought mine was supposed to be cold (my brain was fried from the heat that day). When it arrived, it was hot, and had sauce on the bottom. It was my first time trying a ramen that's non-soupy from them. The flavour was great and there was lots of toppings, it comes with pork belly, an egg, corn and other vegetables. The bowl of ramen was really big. I really slowed down near the end but managed to finish it! This was a great choice to the traditional soupy ramen and will order again.

Yelp
Simple. Delicious. Flavorful. This was one of the better ramen I had in Toronto. The broth was on point and I liked the spicy fried chicken (karaage) as well. The staff was polite and on point with service so that was a plus as always.
