Counting Down the Best Restaurants in Marietta | Eater Atlanta

"Reopened in 2023 with new management, Kiosco has quickly become a go-to staple for those craving Mediterranean cuisine in the Marietta Square. The bistro-inspired space is casual and cozy, with an artistic flair — the perfect spot for lunch or aperitivo hour. The menu ranges from juicy lamb kofta skewers and creamy shrimp and grits to flaky tuna croissants and signature red couscous. A collection of colorful cocktails and a wine list organized by character (bright, spicy, bold) pair beautifully with the menu’s delicate flavors." - Sarah Bisacca

Google
I’ve been to many popular and well reviewed/awarded restaurants around the world and I will add this place prominently among that list. The food was fresh, flavorful, delicious, authentic cultural representation, unique and with an excellent presentation. The service was top notch and attentive. The price is a bargain for what you receive. Great modern mid century design, a small but comfortable space. Also well trained bartenders who made excellent mixed drinks. I will highly recommend this place to any friends visiting the area.

Went to Kiosco for the first time this past weekend and it is definitely going to become a go-to favorite! The food was flavorful, delicious, fresh and exceeded our expectations. The chicken kebabs and gyro were phenomenal, juicy and seasoned to perfection.

Google
Food was great. Wonderful flavors. Place was a little crowded, good for them but a little loud. Difficult for conversation. Service was excellent. Go for the delicious food, not to talk with your dinner party.

Google
just had lunch and let me tell you… I got the lamb gyro and this thing was a religious experience. 10/10 doesn’t even begin to do it justice — this was a gyro sent from the heavens. What absolutely blew my mind was that the lamb was grilled and warmed right before they assembled it. I’ve had plenty of gyros in my life, but this? This was on another level. That little touch made the meat juicy, flavorful, and melting in my mouth like it was telling a love story to my taste buds. And the toppings? Don’t even get me started. Every bite was a perfect harmony of creamy, crunchy, tangy, and fresh — like Zeus himself blessed this gyro before it hit the foil. I walked in hungry. I left spiritually fulfilled. Pics do not do it justice!!!!

Google
Delicious Turkish brunch al fresco! We thoroughly enjoyed the Turkish brunch spread with shakshuka for 2 with refreshing cocktails. No better way to end than with freshly made baklava. The service was impeccable, cuisine delicious, and ambiance welcoming. I highly recommend, you won't be disappointed!

Google
First time eating here and it was DELICIOUS! The service was great and polite. The food portions were plenty. The atmosphere was inviting and cozy. It is a small restaurant with limited seating. My coworks got the Pesto Rigatoni Chicken pasta they said it was amazing. I got the Slow-Cooked Pulled Beef with potatoes and rice. It was very flavorful and fulfilling. I would def get it again.

Google
Great Turkish brunch! Really great service. The food was also amazing. Very nice atmosphere. I would definitely recommend if you are looking for something different than the traditional southern brunch. Portions were generous and food was fresh.

Google
Food is fantastic! Drinks are fabulous. Service is wonderful. All the servers are kinda cute. Please try the zucchini fritters, and the pesto rigatoni chicken (incredible). I love the beet hummus with pita. Honestly, you can’t go wrong. We walked around the square to make a truly informed decision on food and I’m so glad we landed here. A couple doors down from two birds tap house if you’re wondering where to find it. So good!

Yelp
My husband and I came here on a Saturday for brunch. This restaurant is pretty unique in Atlanta - you find this type of authentic feel in NYC or DC. It's walking distance from Marietta square on a cute street among other small businesses. We had the breakfast platter with shakshouka. The shakshouka is not the typical kind you find at restaurants in Atlanta - it was more like scrambled eggs with tomato sauce - delicious nonetheless. The platter had generous portions of cheese and bread and bagel and jams and olives... makes for a great combination. Highly recommend for a delicious Turkish breakfast!

Yelp
Great food! Fantastic service and inviting atmosphere! Met for a girls night. Enjoyed the food & relaxing atmosphere & drinks to catch up!

Yelp
@kioscomariettasquare For one let's start with the service...it was impeccable From the moment we walked in until the moment we left. Everyone was so attentive. They serve a combination of Mediterranean dishes, breakfast and lunch items, and not just the classics that you see at most Mediterranean restaurants. We started off with Spanakopita, which had a cream cheese & spinach filling that melts in your mouth. Now, I am not a dairy girly, but the owner surprised us with a few items to try. One time work hurt right?! I had no regrets after eating that lol. For my meal I had the Sun-dried Tomato Salmon, and a garbanzo salad. Flavorful! For dessert we had the Magnolia which is a homemade custard with crushed biscuits, topped with fresh strawberries. Again, no regrets on the dairy there. It was so good and light. Even after eating all this food for lunch, I didn't feel stuffed like I ate too much. Everything was 10/10. They serve breakfast (until 2pm) lunch and dinner. Next time you are visiting Marietta Square be sure to check them out!

Yelp
My husband and I enjoyed dinner at Kiosco, and we highly recommend this restaurant. The service was fabulous with a waiter and bartender who truly knew how to recommend items for us. We enjoyed the spanakopita, which includes cream cheese and is fried, and we shared the spinach roasted sea bass, which was so delicious! You can see the descriptions of the dishes on one of my pictures. We also were introduced to the Pink Lady, a bourbon drink with strawberries and mint. Or was so refreshing and dangerously easy to drink! Since then, I have been making this drink at home and while it is not as delicious as what we had at Kiosco, it is sure a treat. We are eager to return for another visit and more delicious food.

Yelp
My Brother and I enjoyed a wonderful lunch here on the square. They have outdoor dining options and a smaller inside dining area. The food is amazing. The mocktails are awesome as well. They are a little on the pricey side but the food is worth it. The waiters are very attentive and want you to have a great experience. I strongly recommend them for brunch or lunch on the weekend. Parking is on the street or in paid lots near by. This location is conveniently located on the Marietta Square and the Taste of Marietta was going on yesterday when we enjoyed lunch.

Yelp
We really enjoyed every bit of Kiosco. The food is so fresh!! Took me back to the Mediterranean. I forgot I was even in Marietta, which was a nice little escape. We got the mezze dip trio, divine! The tomato sauce in the shrimp and grits was 10/10. The service was lovely, as well. Ask for Furkan! He was so nice and accommodating. Treated my 2 year old so kindly.

Yelp
We came here for Sunday brunch with our parents because it was highly rated! This restaurant did not disappoint! We started with an appetizer of different homemade sauces that were fresh and good quality! My wife had the eggs Benedict for her entree and really enjoyed it! I had the chicken curry which was also really good! Aside from good flavor, the food was obviously made from fresh ingredients and not some sort of restaurant supply company or something. The ambiance was simple yet inviting, and the staff were very friendly. There are very few spots nowadays with good food and good service that aren't ridiculously expensive so we were pleasantly surprised all around at the quality of the experience! I would definitely return to this spot. I highly recommend Kiosco! It was some really great Turkish food!

Yelp
We had such a nice time at this small gem in Marietta Square. Great service, excellent food, and really impressive desserts. My chicken gyro and fries were very salty, but flavorful. Lots of our party got salads and enjoyed them. The highlight for me was the chocolate-smothered profiteroles. It was super loud in there, so maybe they could improve the acoustics, but it was a Friday night, so not really their fault!

Yelp
Friends invited us to meet for dinner at Kiosco. We had never been there. What a quaint restaurant near the Marietta Square! While the seating area may be small, the atmosphere and heart is big here. Our server was friendly and attentive with any requests met quickly. The menu is limited in a good way - just the best! They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner - Mediterranean style. For dinner, I had the chicken kebabs with rice and salad. It came with 3 large kebabs and a pile of rice. Let me say the flavors were so good. (My mouth is watering just thinking about it!). The meals of my friends also looked and smelled amazing. Now that we have discovered Kiosco, we will be back!

Yelp
Outstanding food and service. We tried a few appetizers, salad, and entrees in our evening at Kiosco. Everything from the pita bread to Kebab skewers to baklava was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. One of the best restaurant experiences I've had in the area.

Paul And Jackie G.

Yelp
Besides the eggplant, we had the braised artichoke hearts which were delicate but satisfying. The wine list will please new and old world, with wines from all over the Mediterranean, in addition to South American selections, many of which are sold by the bottle or glass. The breakfasts here are said to be amazing. All of the food is fresh and carefully prepared. I had a lamb Kafka that was grilled before it was wrapped in lavash dough, which enveloped the lamb and kept it moist, served with a creamy sauce and a contrasting rich and indulgent sauce--an umami bomb, which seems to be executed perfectly at Kiosco. We also ordered the chicken gyro plate with herb fries. All were grilled and fried to perfection. The seasonings and preparation were all superb. This kind of food takes a commitment to prepare, and they executed it perfectly. We will be back for breakfast!

Yelp
My family and I decided to go to Kiosco on a whim to start our weekend off as the reviews were great and the food looked delicious. This originally was a Cuban restaurant, but it has since changed and they now serve Mediterranean cuisine. A lot of people recommended making a reservation and I recommend you to as well as it's a super small spot. Although the restaraunt is small, the space is so quaint and cute. They have a small bar in which you can sit at, along with regular seating. The space has low lights at night for dinner and really was a relaxing ambiance. On arrival, our table wasn't ready yet, but we were seated at the bar I. Which we could order drinks and appetizers while we waited. The party we were waiting on took a bit longer than the staff expected and they were very accommodating. They made sure to check in with us and even provided us an appetizer on the house. We really appreciated the customer service. Although we waited, we didn't mind because the staff made sure we were well taken care off and really provided exceptional customer service throughout the whole night. Now let's get on to the food and drinks. Everything was absolutely amazing!!! I can't stress how good everything we had was. The appetizer we had was the mezzo trio which had a beetroot humus, roasted red pepper feta, and tzatziki with house made pita bread. The roasted red pepper feta was the star of the table. We also ordered the spanakopita which was like a creamed spinach filling with ooey gooey cheese and was delicious. I could go on and on about each dish in detail, but I'll spare y'all lol. Just know it was all great and you can't go wrong with anything. I loved my pulled beef! It was so tender and seasoned very well. The drinks were also delicious and everyone enjoyed their drinks. The pink lady drink was refreshing. The espresso martini, you could tell they made the espresso fresh and was a great night cap to end my meal. Price wise it was a bit pricey as it all added up, but definitely worth it. I definitely will be back as I'd love to also try their breakfast one day.

Yelp
Stopped by for brunch and absolutely loved it. We ordered eggplant chips, curry chicken and lamb kofta. All were delicious! And our server, Paran, was so considerate and attentive. He even brought us complimentary baklava after learning it was our first time in the restaurant. What else can I say? We will definitely be back!

Yelp
Came for a friends birthday dinner and overall enjoyed the experience. Kiosco is a very cute and quaint hole in the wall restaurant, but they serve really good food! Their drink menu is pretty big, but me and my bf were pretty limited on what we could get (he's allergic to apples and I'm an avid ginger hater lol). I ended up with the sweet and spicy drink which was really good, but I wish I could have tried some other drinks at the table! I got the pulled beef for my main course and I also tried the meatballs and orzo. The flavors were fantastic for both plates and I absolutely loved how tender the meat was! The only downside was that the plates are kinda small so I thought it was a bit overpriced. Overall I think Kiosco is a great place to have a small dinner, a nice date, or just a simple girls night! I probably won't be back simply just because of how far it is from me, but it was great to try it out.

Janet B.

Yelp
What a lovely evening. We stopped by and grabbed an outside table which was fun on this nice afternoon. The food was amazing. I had the chicken kabobs. Highly recommend!! Suggest you give them a try. Enjoy!
google avatar

Aleara L.

Yelp
Tried the quinoa salad at Kiosco the salad itself was delicious but the added protein was a bit dry. The service was great and the ambience was nice. Would patron again.

Yelp
15/10!! This restaurant was recommended to us by some friends and it was a great recommendation! We had a cousin in town who wanted a really good meal and this did not disappoint. The restaurant is just off of the Marietta Square with a small inside area and patio. It was a nice night and the patio was lovely. Our server and the other staff were incredibly nice. I have an allergy and the owner came to talk with me about safe options. Our cousin asked about altering the lamb kebobs and our server told her that it's served as is but if she did not like it that her meal would be on him. And he was correct to say that. She loved it as is! I appreciate staff who knows how things are best served. All of the presentation of the food was nice. My husband and I shared the chicken kabobs. Very good! We will for sure order them again. For us, it was enough to share coming with 3 kebobs. We had ordered potato wedges as well but the staff informed us that they didn't turn out well (it was the end of the night) and they brought us fries on the house. Each of us said at least 5 times throughout the meal how good everything was. We will 100% be back!!

Yelp
Not quite sure how this place has such good reviews. Must be for the service and cocktails. The food is not good. We had the marinated artichoke hearts. It was literally from a can. I'm talking about the artichoke hearts, the peas, carrots and potatoes. Everything. The fried eggplant, so so. Their tzatziki is good, but that is easy to make so it better be good. My wife ordered the sea bass and it was like rubber. I had the chicken curry. It was 98% peppers and rice with barely any chicken. This was the second (tried to give it another chance) and last time I'm eating there. The service was ok and that's why they get at least a star.
google avatar

Yelp
Food was great! We had the chicken kabobs and beef gyro. Our server was fantastic. Very cute atmosphere. Will be back

Yelp
This is my second time here. I did not try the food, but from what I saw it looked amazing. Both times I interacted with the staff they were amazing!! The bartender remembered our orders from the first time we were here a few nights ago. Very impressed! I will definitely come back when in town! Definitely check this place out!

Yelp
This might arguably be one of the best restaurants in Georgia, and certainly in Marietta. Staff is beyond outstanding, food is sublime and the cocktails expertly prepared and perfectly crafted. We were planning on going to Two Birds but they had a 90 minute wait. We walked back to Kiosco and even though they had a full reservation list they squeezed our party of 5 into a table outside with heaters. We had some of their craft cocktails. Cocktails ordered were the Pear & Dear, Whisky sour, Green Mile, and a simple Hendricks martini. All amazing. Wine list is extensive and very unique. I barely recognized any of the wines and relied on the owner for suggestions which were delicious. For apps we got a half and half flatbread and the Mezze trio. For dinner we had the chicken curry, sun dried tomato salmon, pesto rigatoni, and lamb kebabs. All perfectly prepared. The entire dining experience we were constantly checked on, waters topped, and dishes cleared. Do not miss an opportunity to dine here. This is an absolute gem of a restaurant.

Yelp
We dined today at Kiosco Restaurant in Marietta, Georgia. This was our first time here and we give it 5 out of 5 stars. The server Yigit was professional, caring and helpful and suggested dishes for us based on our food interests. We had an assortment of delicious and fresh appetizers and main courses. Kiosco is open all day for breakfast, lunch and dinner and we will return very soon. We highly recommend Kiosco for their fantastic service and wonderful food. The ambiance is classy and inviting. Thank you all!

Brian N.

Yelp
Terrific food, great service, and we loved the ambiance. We have had great dinners, but this was more than that ... it was a great experience. Be sure to get the Magnolia for dessert!

Anthony D.

Yelp
Food was great. Server messed up a few times but was very kind and offered a free dessert. Great ambience too.

Amy Z.

Yelp
Restaurant stops serving food at 9pm , not 10 pm as listed on Help. Restaurant looks nice.

Lily B.

Yelp
Had a great time here! The food and drinks were delicious, the atmosphere was great, and the staff were super friendly and helpful! Baran was our server, and was very attentive to our party. Definitely recommend eating here!

Feray A.

Yelp
A must-visit for anyone who loves fresh, authentic Mediterranean food. The Turkish breakfast was wonderful -- it featured flavorful shakshuka, fresh pastries, and rich Turkish coffee, making it the perfect start to the day. We returned for dinner, which was just as impressive, with tender lamb kofte and a delicious mezze platter full of house-made dips and warm flatbreads. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was excellent.
google avatar

Lisa J.

Yelp
Everything was perfect! A pleasant surprise for this first time visit! The people who run the restaurant are so kind & hospitable. The food was great!! Try the Turkish coffee. PS: People, who are cramming the coffee shops on the Square, walk down Powder Springs Rd, across from ATT Bldg, no waiting when Kiosco opens at 10 on Saturday! Great atmosphere, quiet, away from the madness of Saturday morning in the Square. Indoor/Outdoor seating.

Yelp
I lived in the Middle East and turkey for many years and really enjoyed the food. Drinks first: the pear and dear was perfect. One of our party had the green mile and both he and his wife said they really enjoyed it. The other drink was the fleur de Mer Rose which my daughter enjoyed. The tender moist and delicious chicken curry with yellow rice was very flavorful with a medley of peppers and onions. Very traditional herbs seasonings. The quinoa salad was just ok per the person who ordered it. The slow cooked beef was amazing and perfectly seasoned. He had ordered the chicken curry twice before and still considered it his favorite selection. I might throw out here that he is an amazing cook on his own. His wife had the Garbanzo salad and liked it. This was their 4th time eating here. I almost forgot the very tasty french fries. Not sure what they used as seasoning but the fries were delicious. They had suggested the eggplant chips and they were a tasty addition which we all shared. The magnolia desert was very good but the baklava was pure Turkish delicious!!! The picture shows the generous amount of chocolate sauce on the profiteroles which we all shared. I recommend this little gem off the beaten path. You won't be disappointed. I almost forgot the outstanding service and friendly attention. Way better than some higher end places. That is not to say that the price per person was close to the $10-20 that someone reported.

Ellie S.

Yelp
Small restaurant - service was lovely & it wasn't too crowded around lunch time. I would say the food was okay but not anything super special.

Wendy M.

Yelp
Excellent service, drinks, food!!! It was very authentic. Server was very friendly and helpful! Drink we had made with lil extras for garnishes. The place was small and quaint. Good place for a date night.

Linda A.

Yelp
Delicious food with variety for vegetarians. The bar drinks were exquisite! The servers were attentive and knowledgeable. They did not rush us and did not hover. Parking was easily available even on a Saturday night. (A public lot, option to pay only by credit card)
google avatar

Ken M.

Yelp
Delicious, fresh, unique food with incredibly friend and attentive staff. Space is small but ambiance is nice. Salad lovers should try the one with panko fried goat cheese.
google avatar

Mark G.

Yelp
Beef gyro is very good. Served hot and fresh. A little pricy for lunch. Wish they had a lunch menu.

Alyssa L.

Yelp
Had such a good girls night here! The food was delicious, the restaurant is cute and our server, tuna, was the best! Definitely will be back!

Erica D.

Yelp
The service here was very attentive, warm and everything came out timely ! The food quality was not worth the price. I ordered a chicken kabob with fries and salad for $30, which anywhere else would probably cost about half of that. The server recommended I order sangria which was extremely watered down and flavorless. The ambiance is cozy for a small group, though I probably won't go back.
google avatar

Claude V.

Yelp
Food was spectacular!! Ingredients are fresh, we had the burger and the lox bagel! Started with the Hummus Trio my new favorite spot in Marietta. Service spot on!

J L.

Yelp
Tl;dr: overpriced. Ambiance and service are good. Food taste was decent but overpriced for what you get. $14 for a small piece of flatbread with some sauce and 2 dollop of cheese and calling it a pizza is comical. $30 for pasta with mostly noodles and no special ingredients also seems a bit extra. Also, they charge 3% surcharge for using a credit card, which honestly shouldn't be a thing, especially considering how much they're charging for the food.

Steven D.

Yelp
Great place for Brunch!! Friendly service. The French Toast is a work of art but does not spare the calories.
google avatar

PaShawnae L.

Yelp
Very cozy establishment, a very well use of the small space, so I highly recommend that you do make a reservation. I was able to make a reservation same day with arrival within an hour and a half. The establishment is very small, no more than 10 tables And a back wall of booth area. Serving sizes are huge! I had the pulled beef, it was really good and very well seasoned. My partner had the chicken kebabs, which is the largest portion size menu item they have and he loved it. Our server was very attentive, the drinks were strong, but a very interesting taste- using exotic liquors Would highly recommend returning, I'm returning sooner than later this weekend, but please make a reservation just to save yourself a little time. Eating time is about one hour from sitting down to getting up. Very nicely decorated bathroom.

Elizabeth L.

Yelp
The food and service were incredible. Also loved the ambiance. We sat on the patio and it was a perfect dinner date.
google avatar

Christopher S.

Yelp
This has changed from a Colombian restaurant into a Mediterranean restaurant and the quality is certainly not the same. The location is still nice and the outdoor seating is comfortable and pretty (if you don't find the att building off-putting. The service is overall very good but the food itself is mediocre. Unfortunately the price does not match. So I genuinely hope the flavors become more developed over time because the staff really does seem like they want things to be great.
google avatar

Greg D.

Yelp
Paid $18 for a paltry amount of decent fries and literally the smallest gyro I've ever seen in my life. It was comically tiny, and was just beef and onions - no tzatziki or anything else. I asked for a diet coke and they brought me a can and charged me $4 for it. What? There are many other restaurants in the square where your money goes much farther and the food tastes much better. Give this place a hard pass.

Peggy H.

Yelp
Wonderful first visit to Kiosco! Greeted at the door and made to feel welcomed into the charming restaurant. The food was delicious and cooked just as ordered. The well appointed furniture is comfortable, and I loved the background music. If you are in the area, I recommend that you give it a try.

Monique W.

Yelp
Everything about Kiosco is superb! The food, the ambiance, and the service. It's the type of place that cannot be duplicated or "supersized". We, my sister and I , went the day after Christmas. They were playing jazz piano, the waiter, (my fault for forgetting his name, it has nothing to do with his service- if anything it shows how unintrusive he was) was very polite, took our orders, and the restaurant had a positive vibration! One of the patrons, was very positive, wished me a quick recovery( I suffered an aneurysm and a stroke), two guys in there received their food, one was curry chicken and it smelled HEAVENLY! My sister ordered the burger and I had the beef gyro- both came with herbed fries. The food was fantastic!! It was hot, and delicious and seasoned enough that it leaves a pleasant taste on your tongue and everyone you talk to with their eyebrows!! Would I recommend this place? MOST DEFINITELY!!! I'm trying to find reasons to be on that side of town ( I had a procedure that morning, and I live in Mabelton). Nonetheless, when I'm over there, I know where to go!

Carrie A.

Yelp
The food was fantastic. The best chicken kebab I've had in years. The meat was tender and the vegetables were cooked just right. The dressing on the salad was delicious. Service was friendly and attentive. I can't wait to go back!
google avatar

Candace B.

Yelp
This place is a small gem for sure! I was here for lunch last week. I had the empanada trio and loved it. All the food that we had was great- the empanadas, the chickpea salad, and the fried plantains. The service was good and my group didn't have a wait. I'm around the square regularly and will definitely be back.
google avatar

Kenny T.

Yelp
Oh my gosh if I could give this place more than 5 stars I would. This place is so friggin cute and the food is literally to die for. And the service? Omg don't get me started, genuinely the nicest young men ever!! Go here immediately!

Irene G.

Yelp
Our waiter was just wonderful. The food was delicious and we really enjoyed the quiet ambiance of this small restaurant. We will definitely be going back.
