Such delicious tacos! Located conveniently in a plaza mall with ample parking, service was excellent and quick. There is outdoor seating if you want fresh air. They have a salsa and topping bar where you can put your own toppings. Would come back to try their other menu items.

Google
So happy to have this place within walking distance. I tried carne asada, al pastor, and birria tacos today, and all three were equally good. Super fresh, quality meat. I've had plenty of tacos at other places where the carne was dry or the pork was fatty. Not here, all three were really good. They keep it simple with just cilantro and onions and you can add whatever you like from their salsa bar. The young lady at the counter was super nice and the tacos came (and disappeared) quickly. Price of 10.75 for 3 was worth it to me...and I'm a penny pincher.

At the risk of blowing up a spot that I only just discovered, I cannot recommend this place enough. The food is fantastic but the real standout is the fried fish tacos, piled high with lettuce, guacamole, and the fish is perfect. I'd take a picture but they're all gone. Birria tacos are also incredible. Don't sleep on Kique's!!

Best taqueria in town! Not surprising as the owner is also know for having the best Mexican restaurant in Long Beach. Kique's and Enrique's are located on PCH and Loynes in Long Beach, Calif. The main restaurant has been a staple in our city for years and has excellent Jalisco style offerings. Truly the best carne asada platter around. The meat is very tender and has authentic flavors. His pork dishes are also very good with tasty green tomatillo salsa. Salsas are all fresh. And what is often most important to those from Mexico is the taste of the beans, he offers refried pinto beans ( as good as my mom made) and frijoles de la olla... New in town is Kique's ( nickname for Enrique). The taqueria serves burritos, quesadillas and of course tacos. The servings are generous and meat is well prepared and seasoned nicely. One thing that is of utmost importance for a good tasting taco is the corn tortilla. Kique's tortillas are thin white corn and the tacos are prepared expertly, the flavor reminds me of how they would taste if the taquero was right there serving them to you hot of the flat top. Not sure what makes the tortillas taste this way but it surely differentiates Kique's tacos from any other street taco I have had here in town.. My husband tried the al pastor quesadilla, those are made with flour tortillas, white cheese and a generous portion of pork al pastor. It too got rave reviews from him.

Google
The tacos are good! The salsas too. I got the carne asada tacos and they were flavorful and tender. The fried shrimp tacos were crispy and hearty. Service is good as well. It's a small hole in the wall but definitely worth it.

Google
Stopped by for dinner to pick up some tacos since I believe this spot is new, service was friendly and got a medley of tacos to try out the different meats! Had a carne asada, Al pastor, and birria as well as a fried shrimp taco. Loved all of these but the Al pastor especially stood out to me above the rest 😋 the tacos are in double corn tortillas and cilantro and onions are added on top. There’s also a salsa bar where you can choose from their selection, and my personal favorite was the avocado salsa! Would love to come back and try their burritos and quesadillas next time.

Tacos were bland and cold. Pastor was very greasy and filled with meat fat. The burrito is mostly full of beans. Food and service was not good at all.

Google
Just got done having tacos, rice, beans, and horchata from Kique’s. I loved every bite and sip. The staff were so friendly, the atmosphere is cozy, the flavors were poppin, and I left feeling so ridiculously full. Their 3 taco combo was an amazing deal!! Great portions and an endless toppings bar. I’ll be back! Can’t wait to try Enrique’s, their full restaurant!

Yelp
Delicious food and cool wooden tables. Nice assortment of condiments and sauces. Quick service.

Yelp
Taco Tuesday has never been better. $1.95 for the biggest, most loaded up tacos you can get in Long Beach. I got the al pastor, fried fish, and fried shrimp tacos. I would highly recommend getting the fried tacos they offer because they're the most expensive and still $1.95!  The service is super nice, I heard the cashier chatting with regulars while I was in line. They also have their salsas and pickles available at a self-serve bar. The fried tacos already come topped with lettuce, pico de gallo, and the biggest scoop of guacamole you've ever seen. The meat tacos are best dressed with whatever you like at the bar. My favorite was the pickled onions with habaneros. Definitely come out to support on Tuesday's. It's a great deal, and it's really good!

Yelp
Kique's Taqueria is the exciting new chapter from the restaurant owners of Enrique's Mexican Restaurant in Long Beach, which is located next door. Enrique's has been serving authentic Jalisco-style cuisine to Long Beach for over two decades. Drawing from his roots in Cuquio, Jalisco, Master Chef Enrique Perez channels the same passion for fresh, simple, and high quality foods into Kique's. Guests can taste the tradition in every hand prepared taco using house made tortillas that are overflowing with tender meats accompanying vibrant salsa's from their salsa bar. These tacos are bursting with flavor. Word is getting out about this place and drawing crowds to Kique's Taqueria which offers a casual, street food inspired setting. The seating is limited 4 tables inside and 2 tables outside so make to grab a seat if open and then have someone order. The tacos around $4 dollars and a current special of (3) tacos for $13 dollars (estimated). They also serve burritos and quesadilla's with the same meats and salsa's from their taco selection. The service was friendly and attentive. From perfectly seasoned carne asada, pollo asado, al pastor and birria to the shrimp and fish tacos Kique's Taqueria delivers outstanding tacos right here in Long Beach. This a must-visit for anyone craving genuine Mexican flavors served with heart.

Yelp
7:40pm on a Tuesday Great customer service as soon as you head to the register. Cons: out of birria, al pastor tacos, shrimp and fish. Only taco options at this point are chicken and asada. Second thing I wish I never saw, they were so busy that you see staff coming in with ingredients needed, and store bought tortillas. It was also an hr wait, but they told us after we ordered. We didn't want to make a fuss so we waited. But this would have been nice to know before hand. I understand they are busy, it's taco Tuesday and IG made this spot popular but c'mon, an hour wait is unacceptable. I truly hope better planning in the future. The food was decent, but not the best we have had. Restaurant: Very small in size. No trash containers around. 3 tables inside and a few outside. Suggestions: During busy hours especially, have some packed condiments ready to grab and go. The condiment counter was busy, messy due to the self serve, and ran out fast. Would I come back? Honestly, no. Just because there are so many good tacos spots, that also have hand made tortillas, and better managed. There is definitely room for improvement. Good luck!

Yelp
Looking for a Taco Tuesday deal?! ... this place will not disappoint! Quaint taqueria in Long Beach that recently opened up serving up fresh quality ingredients, great proportioned food at a great price! Taco Tuesday all meat choices for $1.95. Michelle - the owner was friendly and welcoming. The ambiance is clean and aesthetically pleasing giving you the feel of Mexico! This place is a must try!

Yelp
Just passing through the area, happened to stop by and was extremely pleased with my experience! Amazing customer service, DELICIOUS food, and very quick (IT WA BUSY!!!) Would absolutely recommend Kique's to EVERYONE local or visiting, will be back

Yelp
Excellent tacos!! Service is good, we usually call in our order and pick up. Tacos have lots of tender flavorful meat!

Yelp
I went back this evening and had the avocado torta it is an off menu item and delicious. I also got the pepita salad. It is perfection and such a deal at $7.99. I also ordered the potato flautas which are crispy and amazing. They have an extensive off menu for vegetarians. You can order anything without meat and they even added a soft potato taco so we can also take part in their fabulous taco tuesday deal. Eat well!

Yelp
Wow, this is genuinely the best taco place I have ever been to. The employee was one of the nicest staff I've ever met. Very welcoming and showed me the salsa bar. All the sauces were soooo good! The shrimp taco was absolutely amazing and they put so much in the taco. Worth every penny. I wish I lived closer, I'd get this every day. Thank you to the employee for his kindness. Made my day. Please visit here if you can!!

Yelp
There's nothing fancy about this taco joint, except that it's small and the furniture was solid. Taco selection was typical, but lacking the more traditional meats (cabeza, lengua). The fish taco was pretty good, and the al pastor was more than passable. Service was efficient, and I only had to wait a few minutes for my tacos, which was expected because it wasn't busy and they're just making tacos, not searing steak. The Enrique's next door was popping on a Sunday night, but this place had a steady stream of takeout orders.

Jesse E.

Yelp
Amazing experience at Kique's. Staff was super friendly and easygoing. I ordered tacos, soupas, flautas and got in less than 5 minutes. Johnny was super efficient and made everything so good!

M R.

Yelp
Wow great tacos! Super quick and super delicious. We had our dog with us and sat outside at one of the (surprisingly nice) wood tables sets. We both had 3-taco combos. The fish was the best imo, but all were great. We'll definitely be here again.

Yelp
If I could triple the stars on Michelle's( Enrique's wife) smile and customer service alone, I would! I saw this place months back and wanted to bring my taco loving foodie husband, but never made it over. Tik tok gave us the nudge we needed! We've been long time Enrique's patrons and LOVE it! My vegetarian daughter swears by the potato tacos. This tucked in the corner taco spot is by far the best taco you will ever experience. I get the fried shrimp and asada! My husband swears by the Birria! You really can't go wrong with anything. The special desert we got tonight was the cherry on top. Pop by and experience Michelle's welcome smile and hospitality, it's like she's welcoming you into her home!

Yelp
Great food, great service, quick and efficient, restaurant very clean. Salsa bar is legit. This is our new go to taco place.
google avatar

Brenda H.

Yelp
We ordered takeout and loved everything we got. The Al Pastor is really moist and flavorful. The refried beans are the best I've ever had. The nachos were large and filling.
google avatar

Rudy M.

Yelp
The place has been open two months, and we decided to give it a shot for the first time. We both had the Carne asada burrito with refried beans, creamy, cilantro, and cabbage. It was really really good and the salsa they had was a great addition to it all. We would've liked it if it had rice because it's a Taqueria they didn't have that option open. They have two tables inside and one outside and serve beer in bottles. They are connected to Enrique's down the way, so the fact that the waitress told us the food was good released stood out as true.

Lisa S.

Yelp
Tried the tacos tonight for our first time here are the results Shrimp tacos - 5 stars Pastor taco - 5 stars Chicken tacos -3 stars way to bland no seasoning and seemed to be boiled not grilled. Asada - 3 stars again very flavorless and a little too much gristle. The asada also did not seem to be grilled it was almost grey looking Guacamole- 5 stars All the salsa was good but 3 stars for the containers. They are ridiculously small. The one ladle with the little poor spout that was is the guacamole salsa only works for right handed people....it was a mess trying to pour it into the super tiny container Will we go back... the jury is still out Great price for taco Tuesday but you still got to like what you eat.

Cindy W.

Yelp
This is the special today- three tacos: steak, fried shrimp and fried fish. Yes, I want fried today and all three tacos were incredible. Fresh, great flavor and loaded- not skimpy! I'm already dreaming about my next order next time

Yelp
New place related to Enrique's. Burritos, tacos, and quesadillos in a fast food format. I ordered at the counter and the food came out quickly. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There are few tables inside and outside should you choose to dine in, however, seems more geared towards take out. Enrique's does it again! Food was excellent. They have a nice salsa bar with a great selection of salsas, etc. Including containers to fill and take. I ordered a Pastor Street Taco and Asada quesadilla. Very generous portions of meat! Both items were delish! Can't wait to go back. They have birria and definitely want to try it!
google avatar

Israel M.

Yelp
Taco Tuesday is the perfect opportunity to sample their food. For under two dollars per taco, you can choose from a variety of meats--there are six options, including shrimp and fish. The salsa bar is exceptional, and the food is truly delicious. If you enjoy Enrique's next door, you'll definitely love this place.

Mary A.

Yelp
The tacos are so good, we went twice in one day! We had the fish, shrimp, al pastor and carne asada! Each one was perfect, the service was incredible and there was a line out the door!
google avatar

Claire G.

Yelp
We really miss the previous restaurant these owners had here: Kpasta, but we wanted to try their new one, Kique's Taqueria. The texture of the carne asada was weird as if it was boiled instead of grilled. It was definitely off putting and I would not order this again! The fish taco was decent, a bit on the sweeter side, but it was a large taco and I would eat this again. Their quesadilla was one of the best ones I've had, so I would definitely order this again. Their service is not like Kpasta. The woman who took our order and brought us our plates was not friendly nor helpful. I asked if there was lemon and she just said yes. She didn't come back with the lemon, and ended up watching other people go back inside to get the onions, cilantro, and lemon from the bar inside.

Yelp
Wowwwww, simply delicious food. Will be back for more. The service and cleanliness is excellent. Lots to choose from. I ate and forgot to picture the tacos. Another good reason to return.

Yelp
Stopped by with my coworkers for lunch on Taco Tuesday. Great tacos for $1.95, entire team was satisfied. I recommend the biria and pastor tacos. Friendly staff and great salsa bar selection
google avatar

Darryl W.

Yelp
Shrimp burrito and tacos for me 10 out of 10 the size alone amazing and the freshness wonderful. Service amazing and pleasant and the ambiance clean relaxed overall always a perfect bite be back soon
google avatar

Zabrina W.

Yelp
This is a tiny establishment located in a strip mall on PCH. There was parking available in the lot when I arrived. For the most part they serve tacos, burritos and quesadillas. I ordered a fish and shrimp taco. My husband a carne asada burrito and my daughter a chicken quesadilla. The favorite were the shrimp tacos. Very filling and tasty. The staff were friendly, polite and welcoming. There is a small salsa bar with tiny cups if you desire. Great place I definitely recommend you try.
google avatar

Killian T.

Yelp
We visited this local quick service taqueria and it was so delicious! They had some indoor and outdoor seating, but it's very limited with it being more of a takeout joint. My husband and I both got the carne asada burritos which were delicious - slightly greasy but still yum. Both burritos and a large horchata came out to around $34. There is a complimentary salsa bar you can help yourself to inside as well, definitely try the avocado salsa! Overall, it was a calm and lowkey lunch. We will be coming back!
google avatar

Johnie R.

Yelp
Kique and Enrique's (the restaurant next door) are owned by the same people but offer different takes on Mexican cuisine. I stopped by Kique for lunch, and I'd say it's a budget-friendly spot with great flavors. I got the al pastor burrito, and I really appreciated that they didn't add rice--it doesn't need it! Their creamy cilantro sauce is so good, and the beans inside were piping hot--perfect for a cold, rainy day. They have a variety of lunch specials, and you can't go wrong with any of them. Definitely worth checking out
google avatar

Yelp
This might have been the best taco plate that I've ever had. I don't know if that's just how I was feeling but yeah. 10/10

R K.

Yelp
Absolutely LOVE this place and I think it's better than their companion restaurant, Enrique's, a few doors over. To be fair, it's a lot more casual and has less menu choices, but I usually get the 3 taco special (one asada, pastor, birria, rice, beans and drink) for around $13. The tacos are packed with juicy, flavorful meat and all the salsas, condiments & utensils are self-serve. The service is fast and friendly, with plenty of seating out front. It's my new favorite lunch spot!
google avatar

Nanelle P.

Yelp
Yeah service was quick, it looked pretty and colorful, size portion is good BUT it has no flavor. Not sure how you can have no flavor with cilantro, tomatoes and that sauce on top but couldn't taste a thing. The batter didn't have flavor nor much in that sauce. Another TikTok fad.
google avatar

Jenn C.

Yelp
Quality with awesome customer service. Love this place for a quick yet satisfying bite. Never disappointed - especially like their fish tacos.
google avatar

Summer Day R.

Yelp
Highly recommend! Went today for the first time. Very nice staff. Great salsa bar. Had the shrimp taco with Chipotle Caper sauce...different and very good. Also had the birria. Different than the typical birria. Very tender, juicy and flavorful. Going back for sure!
google avatar

Bianca C.

Yelp
This our my second visit to Kique's and we loved it just as much as the first visit! It's good quality food at affordable prices. We had a pastor burrito, asada taco, chicken taco, fish taco, shrimp taco, and a pork birria quesadilla. We were very pleased with everything we had. We've never had pork birria and would definitely get it again. Our favorites were the pastor, asada and the birria. Highly recommend Kique's if you're looking for good quality tacos, burritos or quesadilla!
google avatar

David K.

Yelp
Really good stuff. Kique is a chip of the old block. I recommend the pollo Asado burrito.
google avatar

Anet W.

Yelp
So good tried a shrimp and fish taco it was delicious their suace if fire I highly recommend this spot
google avatar

Norman J.

Yelp
Quesadillas are extraordinary. Nice cheese and carne asada mix. Quick and inexpensive at less than $7.00.

Morgan L.

Yelp
The shrimp tacos are sooo good and so filling. The shrimp is perfectly tender and crispy without being too oily or thickly battered. The sauce is creamy, fresh, tangy, and just a bit spicy. The quesadillas are also delicious. Service is really fast and friendly -- I highly recommend!
google avatar

Robert H.

Yelp
Stopped in mid-day and ordered a shrimp burrito to go. Got home to find they gave me a fried fish burrito instead. The large burrito was loosely wrapped and contained about four big chunks of fish mixed with cabbage, gloppy refried beans, and their creamy cilantro sauce. Starving and pressed for time, I made the mistake of eating it. The taste was okay, mainly due to the mix of good hot sauces from their nice little bar (saving this from being a one-star review), but the fish did not taste fresh. They served up the burrito within a few minutes of me ordering it, so it seems like they just had fried filets sitting there that they wanted to unload. Anyway, I played basketball last night and that burrito was fighting me all the way -- a lead balloon sending waves of acid up to my throat. Gross. Not going back.
google avatar

Morrie N.

Yelp
Great place, but the tacos r a bit small but packed with flavor... Wish they sold sides like chips, rice, and beans tho.... I would of gave them 5 stars if they did
google avatar

Jaclyn W.

Yelp
Passing through and could smell the food from the parking lot, had to give it a try. Fish tacos were amazing! Highly recommend and will return next time I am in town.

Ellery I.

Yelp
Food was incredible! One of the best carne asada tacos and fish tacos I've had in a while! Definitely need to check them out!

Vanessa U.

Yelp
Same owners as Enrique's, which we've been going to for more than 20 years now. Taco plates are my favorite and their salsa bar is the best - always cold and clean. It's not a proper sit down place but they do have a few tables. parking is plenty

Patrick H.

Yelp
Taco Tuesday,Oct 22 Still a 5 Star -despite small issues that comes with popularity. Different this time : Tried Asada = good, (I might have been too harsh /review #1) Quesadilla: first try and will get again , why: they leave one side less done so U can unfold and add the great salsas , onion & cilantro. Yum Tip: they do not fully "dress" ( toppings ) on tacos or quesadillas unless U ask (or Carryout) Lot's of people ordering Burritos, will get next time. Bottom line : Kique's is priced well , especially compared to $$$$ Second St prices, which seems to be rising to "Santa Monica"levels. Problem: a VERY limited parking lot... and the lot is crowded almost "always" = Uber ,or ride your bike. Enjoy

Nina L.

Yelp
Very solid tacos. We have tried the birria and pastor. The green salsa is also noteworthy as are the pickled red onions. Could be a weekly thing but I wish they had a taco Tuesday promotion.

Ryan B.

Yelp
Food was very reasonably priced. Compared to places in the bay area and other prices around LA, this is very affordable. $12 for a burrito, $3.25 for tacos. Customer Service was incredible. The owner and her husband were very welcoming and helpful with recommendations. Family owned business. The restaurant was cool with the AC. Overall very satisfied with the meal and experience. The food was some of the best I've had and came with generous amounts of meat. The quality of meat is really good I. 100% recommend this place.

Sara N.

Yelp
Especially loved the quesadilla with carne asada. So fresh and delicious. With an amazing salsa bar.

Kathy V.

Yelp
I went there on 12/28 thinking it would be delicious since it's owned by Enriques which is literally next door. I had the carne asada burrito the beans had no flavor and the meat also. My son had the quesadilla which was quite small for $7 and the same no flavor. The decor and interior were quite nice. They really need to improve their food to keep going. Next time we will just go to Enrique's which got $20 more we have a delicious meal

John D.

Yelp
Was in the mood for Kpasta and drove down. To my disappointment the owners have turned it into a taco place. Since i was already there i decided to give it a shot and boy let me tell you. The most bland carne asada tacos I've had in a while. I tried all 3 salsas and they didn't have any flavor and none of them were spicy. The birria was good but it was strange that it didn't come with consommé as it was missed. Honestly if you're looking for a good taco spot i wouldn't go out of my way for this one as there are plenty of other spots. As someone who enjoyed Kpasta and came for Kpasta i admit im a bit biased but honestly after giving it a fair shot it didn't wow me enough to be excited about it. It has left a pasta shaped hole in my heart and i will not be returning
