While the icehouse doesn’t serve its own food, there’s a food truck and a pizza tent on-site, which were decent options. I do wish the icehouse had its own food menu, though—it would make the experience even better.

Definitely a happening place. We came into town to visit some friends and after visiting a local brewery, decided to see what Kirby's had to offer. We arrived, and were lucky enough to land a parking spot in the front area. We entered and found a table just opposite the bar. I discovered it is the longest continuing bar in Texas. After getting seated, our server Bridget (sp ?) greeted us, and took our drink orders. We dis not order anything to eat. The place was definitely busy, and Bridget advised it was because the Texas game was on, and the A&M game was set to follow. I cannot comment too much on the food, and/or bathrooms, but the beers choices were fantastic and the service was great. I only hope that should you decide to visit that your experience is as good or better than mine.

I had the pleasure of being served by Ashlyn W. at the new Kirby Ice location in the Heights, and I have to say she is absolutely exceptional. From the moment I sat down, she greeted me with a warm smile and made me feel right at home. Her attention to detail was flawless, and she went above and beyond to make sure my drink was crafted perfectly and that I had everything I needed. The level of professionalism she displayed was impressive, and it really made my visit stand out compared to other places. Not only is Ashlyn incredibly talented behind the bar, but she also carries herself with such elegance and beauty that it adds to the entire experience. She balances charm and professionalism seamlessly, creating an atmosphere where you feel both valued as a customer and genuinely cared for. Kirby Ice couldn’t have picked a better person to represent their new Heights location—I’ll definitely be coming back, and I’ll be asking for Ashlyn every time.

I had such a great experience at Kirby’s Bar in Houston! The bartender, Liz, was absolutely amazing. She was super friendly, attentive, and made me feel really comfortable and welcome from the moment I sat down. Her service was top-notch and she made some great drink recommendations too. You can tell she genuinely cares about making sure everyone has a good time. Definitely one of the best bartenders I’ve come across I’ll be coming back for sure!

Outstanding Service by Gicell! Gicell was absolutely amazing from start to finish! She greeted us with a warm smile, was incredibly attentive without ever hovering, and made great recommendations that turned out perfect. Our drinks were always full, the food came out just right, and she checked in at all the right times. You can tell she genuinely cares about her guests and takes pride in her work. It’s rare to find someone so professional, friendly, and detail-oriented. We’ll definitely be asking for Gicell next time we come back!

been to this new location many times since it's opened. parking is very limited on busy days so it would be cool if they could have a partnership with the office depot next door to share the parking lot irene served us at the bar and her service was quick and easy

The Kirby Icehouse kingdom continues to grow with it's latest spot in the Heights. The layout is similar to other locations. A decent amount of parking is available though on a busy Saturday or Sunday you're still going to be a bit pressed. I think the Memorial/Gessner location may have the most? Upon entry, you'll be met by the long bar with plenty of taps on the wall. To that end, they have a good amount of regional craft and national beers to choose from along with wine or cocktails. Now look, I wouldn't say to come here if you're looking for an upscale craft cocktail or a fine wine, but their options will do for what I would categorize as an upsized sports bar oriented for large groups. There is a food truck rotation along with daily specials. Check their site for the latest but examples include industry night, ladies night, steak night, Sunday funday with select drinks discounted. There's plenty of seating at the bar, high tops, long tables on the patio all with TVs broadcasting different events. So everything I've stated probably has most asking, so why go if it's kind of like every other sports bar? I'd say to this question, two aspects make it worthwhile: 1) due to the huge patio area, tall ceilings, and large lengthy bar it rarely feels overly crowded or packed like other spots tend to get. 2) The service is above average in the tikes I've visited. I've been to bars a fraction of the size with worse service or long queues to order. Here, there's either a spot to walk up and order easily or a waitress roving that you can place an order with. There's simply less friction for the point of sale, which is good when you're trying to enjoy talking with friends and catching a game. Personally, I tend to go for spots a bit more divey and less "commercial" but I enjoy meeting friends here, particularly large groups since the patio is a solid spot when a big game is on.

Wow this place is huge and crowded! Apparently crowned the *longest bar in Texas* at 146 feet long, you will be walking for a while to find a bar seat! One of my friends and I stopped by on a Sunday afternoon around 4pm for Sunday football and Sunday funday and it was so full that we could barely find a parking spot in the large front/side parking lot but luckily someone was just pulling out at just the right time. Inside there's 146 feet of bar seating as well as many, many tables as well as outdoor tables. Screens are all around for all sports watching interests. The bar has all of the standard well options as well as many, many beer taps. They do also offer several daily specials so be sure to check with the bartender on any promotions for the day. For food, there are rotating food trucks but be prepared to wait for a little bit during busy days. One of my friends ordered a pizza from the food truck which looked amazing but took about 30 minutes to come out. Kirby Ice House is honestly a great spot to gather with friends and watch a game but something about their franchise just isn't my favorite. It just feels impersonal and profit-driven. Regardless, the space is impressive. Check it out and decide for yourself.

Parking is rough ! The bar is cool , long and a big place. lots of bathrooms . The men are pretty douchier when i went . Had a guy hit on me then i said i didn't want to make out with him because he was drunk . Then saw him do the exact same thing to another girl right in front of me spinning her like he did me but she was dumb and feel for it even after i told her he did the same thing to me she ended up leaving with him and is probably his baby mamma now lol anyways may give it another shot as the bouncer guy was a hoot! Thought he was very funny and a good genuine guy! overall kirby is a good spot just harder to attend on business days ! They need good food trucks to !!

Stopped in to the brand new Kirby in the Heights this evening. It did not disappoint. Decent amount of parking. Daily specials. Sooo much seating along with a Texas size bar. Honestly plenty of inside and outside seating. Loved that they had giant fans outside too. Plenty of screens to watch all the sports. So many staff to get drinks along with taking away the empties. The bathrooms were clean and plenty of stalls. Asked my hubby about the men's. The Kirby Fresca was a nice different touch versus other typical choices.

I'm really disappointed with my experience here. I came in specifically to watch the game, and even though the TVs were on, the manager refused to play the audio over the speakers. What makes it confusing is that they do play game audio on the weekends, so I don't understand why a Monday would be any different. The majority of the crowd was here to watch the game. For a sports bar, it shouldn't be this hard to actually hear the game. Instead of enjoying my time, I just ended up frustrated. I really hope management reconsiders this, because playing the audio is a simple change that would make the experience so much better for customers who come in specifically for live sports. About 15 minutes later I posted my feedback (and after several other customers asked as well), they finally turned the sound on, and it made the experience much better. I appreciated the change, but it really shouldn't take multiple requests for a sports bar to play the audio for a live game.

Everyone should take note that opening a tab at Kirby's - you will immediately be charged $25.00. The charge will not go against your balance once you close the tab. Incredibly the $25.00 will remain on your account for 4 to 5 days before it is finally removed (if ever). Should you open two tabs for example one at the bar and one with your waitress then you get two charges of $25.00. It's absolutely wrong that we the customers should float the owners thousands of dollars time after time. Take a look at your account !!! That's very bad business! Please forward to all your friends !

Compared to the other Kirby Ice Houses, it seems a little smaller, or at least feels smaller because there isn't a yard per se, just a large covered area which is nice but it feels kind of claustrophobic when there is a large crowd. This becomes a problem when there is only one bathroom and it's all the way on the other end in the indoor section because the narrow corridors for walking get clogged up when large crowds of people are trying to get to one end and then have to resort to walking in between the seats where people are watching the game. Granted, this may not be an issue 6/7 days of the week but I came here on a night where apparently there was a watch party for the A&M /ND game and it was elbow to elbow and anytime there was a break in the game, there would be a wave of people from the outdoor section trying to go to the bathroom all the way to the other end while the ones who just used the bathroom were trying to get back to the other side and it was just making the whole experience chaotic and really hard to even order a drink without getting caught up in the traffic. I'm sure they'll work out some of these kinks but I really think they need to build a second set of bathrooms on the other side of the bar to fix it.

Return visit to this location after Texans/Niners Sunday (afternoon) and after Game 1 WS Friday (night) - whatever the time, the vibes are all right. Extensive beer selection and the cocktails are fabulous - especially the Kirby Fresca and Frozen Lemonade. Service is casual as expected but attentive, it was not difficult to order and follow up. Dog friendly, nice to see. Lots of space to hang and wait for friends to join. Like the original location too!

Went to the the Kirby location next to the 610fwy it's grand opening was nice but our waitress Terry was kinda thirsty for tip and she charged us for 6 shots instead of 3... make sure yall pay attention to your receipt!!! They scamming tips and charging extra

Ok--stopped on Day 1 - Grand Opening. The place is big with lots of space at the bar and tables in and outside. Great beer selection. Rotating food trucks. Staff was a bit indifferent but again it was day 1. Will definitely be back......

I visited the newly opened Kirby's Ice House the other night, and overall it was a refreshing and very enjoyable experience. They've done a great job establishing a lively, comfortable hangout, and one of the highlights was definitely the service -- particularly from our server, Mackenzie G. From the moment we were seated, Mackenzie made us feel well taken care of. She checked in early, made sure we had water, knew the specials, and was happy to answer questions about the menus/trucks/drinks without hesitation. Mackenzie clearly knows her stuff. Whether it was helping us pick a beer based on taste preferences or suggesting a cocktail, she seemed confident and friendly. Her recommendations were on point. Perhaps what stood out most was Mackenzie's genuine pleasantness. She was welcoming, had good energy, and seemed to genuinely care that we were enjoying our time. That kind of friendliness goes a long way in making an evening memorable. Will definitely return to this location!

Rachel O. is absolutely phenomenal! From the moment we sat down, she made us feel welcome and taken care of. She's attentive without being overbearing, always checking in at the right time, and she has a natural way of making the whole table feel like friends instead of just guests. Drinks came out quickly, orders were spot-on, and she had great recommendations that really elevated our experience. Her upbeat personality and genuine energy set the tone for a fun night. My friend was ready to go home and was a little intoxicated but holding it together acting normal, the manager came up and said she had to leave that she was disturbing others when she was sitting with us and not doing anything. He made her go outside by herself did not check of anyone was getting her home.

Had an awesome time at Kirby Ice House, and the highlight was definitely the service from our bartender, Jasmine. From the second we sat down, she was warm, welcoming, and super attentive even with the bar being busy.

Loved Loved Loved this place!! Stopped in on a Friday Night after leaving another establishment not even worthy or mentioning..lol. Parking was easy and staff at the door greeted us with a "welcome and enjoy". Had a great time, Drinks were great. Only thing that would make this over the top is Bar Food. Extra points for allowing our Fur Babies to hang out with us.

Been here a couple times and service is always great but Jasmine is amazing! She's super friendly, attentive, and always has such a great attitude even during rush hour. I went with a couple of my girlfriends just to hang out and we loved it! She made us the best drinks. Go to Kirby's and ask for Jasmine!

Came in to check out the new location for an A&M game and Romi gave us great service and speedy drinks, very personable & the ambiance was definitely something I will come back for!! Check out the big patio!

My wife and I went to Kirby's this past Sunday to see how long the bar was and it was amazing. We sat outside and had a great server that listed a bunch of different drinks - Mackenzie G. she recommended Space Dust which was great.

Now listen, I don't usually write reviews (the last one was about a gas station taquito that almost ruined my life), but Jasmine is built different. Funny, fast, and on point the whole time. If Kirby Ice House bottled her energy and sold it, Starbucks would go out of business.
