First, I want to shout out the phenomenal service quality from the waiter (Ayhan) who is very attentive and warm. We are here for lunch and it is crowded with lot of guests but it does not really affect their service. We got our food within 10mins after our order. Second, the food is fantastic! We have the fish dish as lunch and it is so good for the well seasoned dish. The dining experience went perfect with the desert.

Great food, terrace is nice but interior design is not particularly special or comfortable imho. Service is quick and usually friendly.

Nice restaurant, but the kitchen closes around 2:00 PM, so plan accordingly.

A wonderful evening! I greatly enjoyed my dinner at Kirchfeld - nice atmosphere, straightforward design, friendly service. And good food, both the fish carpaccio and the Rösti with veal in a cream sauce (Geschnetzeltes).

Delightful experience, fairly priced lunch menu. The vegan main dish was buttery and had a rich taste. Friendly service.

In our case we had a really long waiting time to be served and through the course. The food and taste are really basic, there is no way to justify the prices. The beef tartare was particularly tasteless, we could only taste the marinade ( most of it was probably Worcester sauce ..). The lamb rack was one like many others , the veggies banal. The dessert nothing amazing. Service was less than average. Wine ok. Price ... 180 CHF for 1 startet two main entries, 1 dessert and 2 glasses of wine. For me it was the first and LAST time in this restaurant. The best thing might have been the interior design.

I went to this restaurant with high expectations, and the food was indeed excellent. They also have some dishes that are not too expensive, and the dessert was also delicious. So this is an excellent option, and no doubt this is a reason it is in the bib gourmand list.

Suitably old world and elegant while not being too stuffy. Fantastic Wienerschnitzel and dessert trolley, and MAGICAL Tarte Tatin to be ordered at start of meal. Dislike: service can be grumpy.
