Kirin Asian Buffet

Not as much variety of actual cuisine as we expected, mostly chicken, but cleanliness, friendliness and service were great! It was slow when we were there, but others commented that the service didn't suffer when crowded! They sat us near a plug so out Uncle could charge oxygen he needed.. overall okay place to eat

What a great lil addition to mineral wells. I had no clue it existed till today but it was perfect. Not as many options as a large buffet would normally have but the options they do have are the perfect ones. All the food is covered and I love that part. Our server was super attentive and the desserts and sushi were spot on! Will be back

I wanna start by saying the service was just fine so I have no complaints there. The food on the other hand, very concerning. Everything was at room temperature, the rice was crispy from it possibly sitting for hours and of course was not warm at all. It may be all fine, but I definitely was concerned with the state of the food from a health issue. I hate to leave a bad review because I love local businesses but this was so unacceptable. I hope they can turn it around or maybe I came on a bad day but it was the worst buffet I've ever had and I've lived in many states and cities.

Food was old. Appeared and tasted reheated. For 2 people it was $42.00. The entire time we were there. The hostess played with 2 boys at the front desk. Please take my advice. Don’t try it !

The staff was really nice and the sushi was good that's about all I can say! Food wasn't hot or fresh and the food either had no taste at all or was oddly sweet when it shouldn't be.

The food was absolutely fantastic! The atmosphere was so pleasant and the service was impeccable! The staff is fun and super friendly, especially Tommy, he is super friendly and personable. We will absolutely be making this our preferred spot

Was a little concerned since we went at 4pm for an early dinner but there was a wide variety of items and food was fresh. Everything I got was very good, broiled sea bass especially. Service was great also. Definitely will visit again.

First of all, lower your expectations. This is a Chinese buffet, the quality will reflect that. Having said that, this may be the best one I’ve been to. And I’ve probably been to hundreds in my lifetime. I arrived at lunchtime around 1 o’clock, an hour before they close. so I was late in the lunchtime the food was still extremely fresh. The egg rolls were delightful, the small selection of sushi was fresh, and quite pleasant. I thought the shrimp with pineapple in the hot creamy sauce was great. Teriyaki chicken was very good and fresh, the mushrooms were seasoned well and tasted great. Chicken and beef dishes I had were again, fresh and seasoned well. I think that the fact that all the dishes are covered being heated helps, probably, keep them fresh. Finally, the buffet does not have as wide of a variety as most that I’ve been to, but it seems the quality is better because of that. Also, price informs value. I visited another American Food buffet in town that had so few options, and was 1399 for the buffet. This has easily five times as many options maybe 10 times as many options, as only 1199 for the buffet. In summary, fresh food, seasoned well, at a great price. Hard to beat.

The ambiance is that of a typical buffet. The wait staff is usually polite and friendly but I've had a few young ladies with attitudes. The front two hostesses are usually very nonchalant about their job and could care less about greeting you. The food is just ok. It all tends to taste the same to m. The variety is average but considered good for Mineral Wells. The best dishes on the buffet are the sushi rolls, fish dish, and fried shrimp. Most of the food is overcooked or has been sitting there a long time and looks old. I don't like their soups at all. There are only three Asian places in Mineral Wells, so there isn't much choice when you have a hankering for Chinese food, other than an other city. I have three stars for the effort of opening up an Asian buffet in Mineral Wells, plus the few dishes that are tasty.
