Asian Buffets to try in Las Vegas - Eater Vegas

"Busloads of travelers line up at this Strip-adjacent Chinese buffet. The restaurant serves egg drop soup, crab Rangoon, spare ribs, and more at an all-day price. For dessert, there’s a soft serve ice cream machine." - Krista Diamond

Google
This place really deserves five star reviews in terms of the price and Food! We happened to saw this one when we tried to search for a buffet with a fair price for a quick dinner before heading to the airport. Since the price is really reasonable, so we decided to give it a try. It’s really a surprise! Compared to another buffet in a big casino on the strip we had yesterday, this one won in both food selection and price! They have 2 to 3 kinds of shrimp dishes, 2 to 3 kinds of chicken dishes, more than two kinds of sushi… they also have beef, pork, clam, mussel, and many traditional dishes you expect to see in a typical Chinese buffet. Their dishes tasted good! As for the environment, it’s a typical Chinese buffet, so it’s just like that. I don’t really care, though… The service was good and efficient. Used plates got taken away quickly. Although they don’t have any fancy food, I still recommend it as a must eat in such a expensive city…

After reading all the 1 star reviews we were pleasantly surprised with the variety and quality of food. There was lots to choices and things i hadn't seen before. The ice cream machine wasnt good but everything else was decent. The sushi wasn't the best but was good. The total bill was $60 for 4 adult buffets and 2 drinks. So for the price this place was great. If i lived in Vegas i would come back!

Google
The food was good. The place was clean and everything looked fresh. The sushi did look like someone did it in a rush but it taste good. Different options in seafood mostly not a big selection on desert tho. They charge you for the drink but you can get refill.

Google
If you’re looking for the best buffet in Vegas, this definitely ISN’T it. It’s better than Buffet of Asia, so if you read that review than you know that’s not saying much. I’m gonna give this place a solid 1. We spent $48 for two adults and a kid. The food looked and tasted as if it had been sitting for a good bit. There isn’t a lot of variety. The salad bar wasn’t even worth a picture because there was literally no leaves to formulate the base, yet there was a plethora of salad dressing. The best thing I ate was the watermelon. The cashier at the front was super nonchalant. The server just kind walked around aimlessly. There was also stool everywhere in the bathroom. I think had I seen the bathroom initially, I would have just turned around.

Google
Lunch price was higher than advertised. The people were helpful. Was seated at large table which was close to the kitchen. Seems like it would be an alcove when they are busy. Very few things were labeled so being cautious we could only eat the things we recognized. The wonton soup was only a clear liquid (broth). There were no fried noodles/chips to put in it.

Google
The food tasted similar to most of the chinese take out in the area. The food was above average. The buffet only cost $11. If you come here you are coming for the price and decent chinese buffet. Overall I think it’s a great chinese buffet.

Google
Great food. I just wish I could've sampled everything. 😉

Google
This place is an Asian buffet. Its relatively cheap at $9.99 lunch and a few bucks more for dinner but its also has a limited selection. Its all generic takeout food items. All heavy on the salt and sugar (I like salt). Their sushi rolls look like they were made by someone who doesn't know what they are doing. I am giving them 3 Stars because cheap buffets are hard to find in Vegas after Covid. If you're looking for a cheap lunch and no high expectations then this is your place.

Yelp
What a great place! The staff is friendly and attentive. The selection and quality of the food was great especially considering the price. The total includes your drink and tax and tip! It was $18.75 for lunch if you paid cash (it was a bit more if you use a card for the service fee I think). I had all of my usual "Chinese takeout"favorites and a really decent sushi selection (there was a few nigiri items along with cut roll selections. It was quite a large sushi selection for a Chinese buffet imo) and even desserts with free refills of Diet Coke/Coke products all for under $20. The dining room was spacious and neat/clean and again-the staff was amazing! I will come back again and again! I would definitely recommend this gem of a place!

Yelp
Came on a Sunday afternoon, and it was quite busy. The service is quick, and they get you seated as soon as possible. It definitely has Asian restaurant server vibes, so you'll be expected to lag down your waiter if you need anything, but they are extremely helpful when you ask them for stuff. In terms of food, selection is mediocre. They offer a ton of different Asian dishes, from more Americanized stuff, to pretty traditional Chinese food (dessert items). I liked their stirfry selection, which definitely catered to an American palate, but still tasted quite delicious. Reminds me of panda express. One thing I was a little disappointed by was their sushi selection. There was pretty much no nigiri, and everything was just fake crap with rice and some sort of sauce on top, or cream cheese related item. They basically felt like I was eating a bunch of variations of California rolls, but if you're into that, then that's totally ok too, and this place will not disappoint you. Overall, pretty Americanized place with a wide variety of Asian food selection. I think it's almost worth the price!

Yelp
I'm not sure what buffet the other reviewers went to, but it wasn't the experience I had. I came looking for a place that served oysters, and yes--they had them. But out of a full tray, only 2 looked fresh. The rest had a strange yellowish color that didn't inspire confidence. When they finally refilled the tray after about 30 minutes, maybe 3 were decent. I was also looking forward to the beef ribs, but those were a letdown too. They were 90% bone, 5% BBQ sauce, and maybe 5% actual meat. The rest was just a thick, unpleasant layer of connective tissue between the bone and the meat. The soft serve tasted cheap and artificial, nothing like proper soft serve. One of the dessert cakes was hard as a rock. None of the sushi was labeled, which made it hard to tell what you were grabbing. The wonton soup was okay, and I made the best of things with the fried rice, orange chicken, and dumplings--which were all decent. But still--no pork ribs? Ambiance was fairly standard for a buffet. At $25, it's a lower price point for the area, but I left disappointed. Even for a budget buffet, I expected better quality and care.

Yelp
I've eaten at the other Buffet at Asia location on Sahara many times, but this is my first time here at the Flamingo location. I just wanted to try it out. Same food selection as the other location. This establishment feels cleaner and bigger. Service was okay. I don't expect much from a buffet style other than the occasional clearing of plates and refilling of drinks. -1 Star because we came on a Sunday night (seafood night) and the Lobster seemingly was only cooked and refilled once during our dining. And the salt and pepper crab legs were so thin, I can't imagine anyone getting any meat out of them.
google avatar

Ren B.

Yelp
Food is ok. Place looks old and run down. Ambiance is non existent. No real asthmatic appeal at all. If you are really hungry and just want to stuff yourself.

Yelp
For a cheap Asian buffet, this is as good as it gets! I've mostly been here for lunch. They have the same lunch pricing during both the weekend and weekday currently at $15 per person excluding gratuity/tax. There is a small additional fee if you pay with card which you can avoid by paying in cash. Gratuity of 11% is automatically added to your bill and there are signs at the register and on your receipt stating the service charge was already paid for and thereafter they are a no-tip business. Soft drinks are included in the price. For lunch, the food selection is quite decent, although more coveted seafood options like clams are only offered during dinner. I can't name them all but they have pizza, chicken wings, soups, various sauteed dishes (vegetables, chicken,) steamed fish/veggie options, salt and pepper fried shrimp, fried rice, pancit, chow mein, plantains, desserts, etc. Plus they have a wide selection of sushi rolls. Workers were constantly bringing out fresh platters of food to refill the buffet. Service is excellent. Workers are super on top of refilling drinks and clearing away used dishes from the table. I felt that everything was pretty clean. There is additional parking located behind the restaurant as the front lot is often full.

Yelp
3.5/4 woman spent hours watching videos on buffets. I'm truly not a fan but I can appreciate the variety they provide. I heard her listen to one place that had kalua pork and poke! Hell yes! But she couldn't find it again and we ended up here. If you know or have been to one with both offerings, holla at me!!! Other option was Krazy but it was farther. Parking lot was kinda dirty but it was packed. Bunch of people waiting but as a party of two we got right in. There was no option to leave a tip when I paid up front. We had an interesting seat. Probably the closest to the actual buffet stations but still having views of the loo. I will give them this, until about 8/8:15, they are BUSY! Constantly replacing foods and keeping things fresh. They do their best to keep it clean though they never changed the pot sticker sauce while we were there. It had a fry in it the whole time, maybe that's why it was salty lol :-/ Food was pretty good honestly. Hawaiian chicken, pork ribs, the chow mein, glass noodles and rice had me getting seconds. Woman got the flounder which isn't a fish I'd usually go for but it was quite tasty. She said the mussels were really good too. The broccoli beef's broccoli was hard to chew but I don't have much to say otherwise. The sushi bar was very nice too. They have an "ice cream" machine but when old lady when to get some, vanilla wasn't working or gone. The sugar dough balls, though awful ingredients wise, remind me of childhood with my grandma so I had to have some. So good! But I noticed that after 8, once they ran out they doubled down on the fried bananas. Which I usually enjoy but they weren't great. We were bussed by a super nice guy and lady. If you recall I said they didn't offer for us to tip initially, so we gave each of them cash at the end. They were kind, and despite how much they took the plates, I had to ask a couple time for more water. The bathroom- not the cleanest and only 3 stalls! I had to wait in line and one lady never came out the whole time I was in there! I hope ol girl is ok! Pretty decent food, well seasoned and flavored. Nice staff, could be cleaner. Crab legs fri- sun. Woman read they had burnt ends. I didn't see them. I wouldn't go back, not bc it's bad, but I'm not a buffet fan, I'm a germophobe, and it's vague ass, buffets on every corner!

john ..

Yelp
I went during the lunch hours and feel like it was good value for the price. The server was on point with the refills. I think she wanted to fill me up with soda so I would eat less.

Yelp
For the price, this AYCE buffet is an unbeatable deal. Came for lunch - $15 for adults and $7 for kids. I've tried some of the $75 buffets on the Strip that are definitely good and a little better in quality, but are they the "$60 better" type of good? Naw. I'd challenge anyone to find a more affordable buffet with a bigger selection, on or off the Strip. Some highlights: the chicken skewers were cooked to perfection, the seafood combo is fantastic, and the hot and spicy chicken packs just the right punch. The variety here is impressive, and even the frozen items like crispy fish and egg rolls were great. Service was efficient - wait staff are on top of things, and the kitchen staff keeps the food coming out fresh. Even on a busy weekday lunch, it was packed but not crowded, and I was seated right away with zero wait time. The plates were very clean. There's plenty of parking with a dedicated lot right outside. Would absolutely come back!
google avatar

Vincent P.

Yelp
Not bad. First you pay and then get seated. I think you're allowed one drink, (I'm not sure). The place is quite spacious and the food selections are various. Liked the sushi counter because there's a lot to choose from. And good sushi too. As for the other hot dishes... it's a little subpar. Too oily at least for most of them. I'm not sure if I'm gonna come back, but if you're into regular Asian-buffet style restaurants... it does the job.
google avatar

Gabriel S.

Yelp
The service is always good but this last time felt like they were short staffed. The wait time was fast and the tables were clean at least. The food choices have gone down hill. Unfortunately this will probably be my last time coming here. The only thing I can suggest is go before dinner. I think we'll be going back to Hibachi Grill and Supreme Buffet. It's a farther drive for us but the selection is so much better. It was a good run here but for what they charge it definitely doesn't match the quality or selection.
google avatar

Danielle E.

Yelp
That sushi bar was everything! We about cleared out the sushi but they had more ready for us! Small but good food. We ate until we were stuffed!
google avatar

Anna Y.

Yelp
The food was hot and came out quickly! We got there right before 5 and had an amazing buffet meal. It was affordable and worth what we paid. The deep fried lobster was a little dried but the fried chicken drumstick was sooooo good. I don't think I've ever had that good of a fried chicken at the buffet. I think I ate like 4 pieces. The ice cream machine did not have vanilla so that was sad. They do charge 11% for service regardless of party size but they also encourage tips. I feel like if you charge for service then asking for a tip is kind of confusing.....imho. Anyways, decent place to get buffet for a decent price. This is a small buffet place expect grand buffet rooms.
google avatar

Yelp
The Buffet at Asia is an AYCE style restaurant that has delicious food with a wide variety of choices. The string beans (with garlic) and the sushi are just a few of the top dishes. The service here is fast and efficient. Definitely will be coming here for a second time! $75 for four people, including drinks, tax and tips. Plenty of tables and seats available and has that Vegas buffet ambiance.

Yelp
The restaurant Decore was ok. The employees where execellent. Store cleanliness outstanding. The food was very bland.

Yelp
Against my better judgement I decided to try this place for lunch. As I had already been to The Mint Indian Bistro in the past I instead chose this place as to try something new. I now regret that decision. The price is reasonable, but the selection was much smaller than I thought it would be. And the food well where to begin. Although there were several dishes that were good, most were way over salted, and some were just downright sad. The chicken strips looked good but oh dear lord they were anything but, so dry and overcooked. The wings just tasted mostly of Chinese five spice. There was a very tasty spicy chicken dish, but I got it twice and both times it was cold and I mean cold, which quickly became a regular occurrence with the food here. The stand out dish was the steamed fish, it was actually hot and it was delicious. Overall this place was hugely disappointing and I just cannot recommend it in any way. Dinner might be a better option as more seafood dishes are offered. Lunch however is just a no go for me.

Yelp
Would not go back. Had generally good reviews and positive comments for value and they have crab legs (a grandson's favorite) so we went with my two grandkids. Cost was good. $24.50 per person. Hard to beat that! Selection was ok. Not spectacular. Sushi was ok. Tasty and a good variety. Crab legs were nearly inedible. Small. Very small. Deep fried. Overcooked. Not worth taking the time to eat.
google avatar

Yelp
I don't care what anyone has to say I love this place! The food is good. Low cost, and all of your favorites. With perfect customer service.
google avatar

Joshua M.

Yelp
This restaurant is not what it used to be back when it was located on Flamingo and Eastern. They've lost their touch. The food was not as good. Don't plan on returning any time soon.
google avatar

Sacha D.

Yelp
Food selection was very limited. And desert options for pretty much nothing. Ice cream was only vanilla and that was basically it for desert.. Had to call for or go looking for a server to ask for a refill on my drink. And had to pay a whole separate fee just to get a drink for my child, which I said and counted when I first told checked in. The restaurant was very warm, it wasnt very comfortable to sit and enjoy eating. I definitely wouldn't choose to come back to this specific location.
google avatar

Mai T.

Yelp
Food was surprisingly decent with some seafood options such as shrimp, fish and calamari. Stay away from the "seafood" on the scallop shell - this is merely a seafood sauce and there is no scallop. Service of clearing away plates and having sofa refills was attentive. Overall good value for a weekday lunch buffet.
google avatar

Ken M.

Yelp
The food was mediocre at best. I think the best thing I tried was the sushi, everything else just seemed under par. For the price I expected much much much better quality. I am very disappointed.
google avatar

Gregg P.

Yelp
To see the food was mediocre is to be optimistic. Most of the food was overcooked in some cases the chicken that I had came apart like a dough ball. I don't recommend this to anybody.

Yelp
Thursday, March 14, 2024 - Dinner at their new location. We were so excited to finally go to their new location. We have been here when they were the other buffets. I believe this is a much better location and I love the big windows. The food area has so much more space and I love the set up here. I love when the cooks come out and check what needs to be filled up and than they go back and call it into the other cooks. Everything is so much nicer here. Service is always good here. I did ask about one dish, but our server didn't ask what it was, not really a disappointment, but I do wish that he went to find out. The food was good as always, we do enjoy the sushi. Tonight was one of those nights where I just wanted something different. I usually don't eat salad here, but it was good tonight. Caesar dressing is always my 2nd choice of dressing, Blue Cheese is 1st. I had the Crab Rangoon, it wasn't that sweet tonight. Beef Broccoli, well haven't had that in a long time. As for the clear noodles it was actually satisfying, but I like to add lemon on mine. These are the items I don't eat here, because I have my favorites. The new location here on Flamingo and Maryland I love! So if your in the neighborhood and don't know what you want and you just want different things, I recommend stopping by. As always, Great Company and Great Food, Guarantees a Great time!
google avatar

Sandra G.

Yelp
Okay so sorry but definitely not going back. In addition to their 4% debit and credit card fee they have now added an 11% tip to the bill. We're finished with this place. Food is never hot. It's looking dirty and run down already. Food temperature is very important. It's time for the health department to pay them a visit.

Yelp
My family wanted more Asian style buffet and last time my uncle recommended this place which moved from another location. Typically, these places have the usual variety of Asian food. Entering the place there were lots of vending plushie machines, it is very bright and at entrance the staff helped us with paying for our party and seating. My kid was half price though he didn't eat much. We were roughly 15$ an adult which includes drinks. I saw a poster of smoothies but it's probably extra. Going in, sushi variety looked great, but lots of wasabi in any sushi with green sauce. I tried each one and they were decent except the one with a chuck of tuna which I couldn't eat and spat out. Fried foods were ok, the best one of the bunch was the fried chicken wings. Fries, crab Rangoon, and sesame balls were ok, some were crispy while others were stale. I ate mostly the fried wings... The seafood items were a bit off? Squid was too chewy and lots of weird mayonnaise taste on the seafood and toast. Chicken wonton soup was decent actually. The teriyaki chicken and charsui were the only things my kid ate but he spat out the chicken after a few bites. He ate a few bites of charsui but it was a bit too chewy afterwards. Overall, I wouldn't really come back if I came for a Vegas trip. Although it was very inexpensive, I didn't feel so good afterwards.... I decided not to take photos this time. Restrooms were really clean at least!

Yelp
Hi guys. This is a cool place where I was today. I really liked everything, the dishes are fresh, when something on the display case runs out they immediately put a new and different dish there, a great variety, you will have a great choice. I tried a lot of different dishes and liked everything. I will put a photo, but my plate is empty because I was hungry and ate everything, sorry I recommend this place. The staff is attentive and takes away dirty dishes on time, they are very polite with you.
google avatar

LJ R.

Yelp
I believe that when businesses move or change names, ownership, or enough of it to see a difference you gotta give them a new Yelp listing. Seen so many listings that keep combining and overall ratings ain't even accurate so here let's see if it happens again. When the Buffet At Asian was down the road at Flamingo and Eastern food was good but it felt like an old and dirty place. Like dirty dirty felt like I'd catch something there but I'll still eat there. They moved and reopened in January. So this location is so much clearer inside. A little kid fell dropping their ice cream cone on the ground, picked it up, and still ate it. Kids gotta build their immune system yea!? True story though lol. Employees were constantly cleaning. Outside it's still a sketchy area. Someone was outside trying sell stuff. For food, it's a reasonable priced Asian buffet with a nice selection of sushi. Came here during lunch. That chop marinated steak is probably my favorite item. That with lots of mushroom and some beans or there veggies is a good meal. Next favorite item was this dish with some mixture in a shell. Chicken wings were good. Sesame ball and fried bananas with good too. I'm hoping stay still make those beef ribs that they made at the other location for dinner. Those were my favorite. They have snow crab legs offered during dinner Friday to Sunday. Again new location so clean. Restroom was clean and with plumbing that works. We'll see how long that lasts. Spacious, bright, and clean dining area. They were constantly cleaning, good at removing plates from table and refilling drinks. Auto-gratuity for I believe 5 or more people. They'll charge a little extra for using debit or credit card but soda is already included in the price. For sure I'd be back as long it's kept clean and reasonably priced. Hmmm I guess it is the same Buffet At Asia just in a a new clean location. Should've just cleaned the old location but was probably too much work.

Jet P.

Yelp
Extremely Disappointed with the Customer Service! The service here is outrageously poor. Servers are incredibly rude and unprofessional. Beware: there's a confusing transition between lunch and dinner, and no one informs you when it happens. We unknowingly took food from trays that had just been set out -- only to be confronted and scolded by a server who rudely told us it was for dinner. Instead of calmly explaining the situation, they lashed out and pushed back at us. Absolutely unacceptable behavior. If you can't provide basic customer service or communicate transitions clearly, maybe it's time to rethink how you run a buffet or close it down for good!
google avatar

Melissa M.

Yelp
Crab legs are amazing. They serve them on Sunday nights. They also have sushi. The orange chicken was good and the mussels were good. It of course was a buffet so some of the quality wasn't great. But overall I'd be back.

Henry Y.

Yelp
Lots of good Asian food for $20 AYCE dinner including fountain drinks, they even had raw oysters and sashimi and BBQ ribs! The waitresses were attentive and they charge a 10% service fee instead of tipping, which I thinks it's better.
google avatar

Josephine A.

Yelp
Not too much selection, the price is top high, $31 for dinner week end? Not too much sea food and not really fresh.

Yamileth R.

Yelp
Got seated right away no wait time for a 2 person party only thing that really troubled us was these huge family tables that were sitting near us didn't mind it until one of them stand up and had there ass literally on our table while we were eating she noticed this but didn't move because she was taking pictures of her family honestly been here a few times and never experienced this until my last visit.
google avatar

Haley K.

Yelp
We had been to their older locations back in 2022 & it was nice to see that they moved to a new upgraded spot. It's one of those places that you get what you pay for. I wouldn't say there was anything that was great, everything was just ok. I had a bit of hard time deciding what I wanted to eat because nothing really caught my attention. it is nice thought that there was a soft serve machine that you can swirl the 2 flavors together. I do like this new location though as there is more space between the all the stations. It's always nice & clean & you can't beat the price.
google avatar

Sylvia A.

Yelp
Food was literally cold, not much to choose from. Very dissatisfied. Service was not good at all.
google avatar

Bill J.

Yelp
This buffet lacks decent seafood--no crab legs--and the restaurant's cleanliness is questionable, given the dingy carpets. With so much competition in Vegas, I don't see myself returning unless this place gets a facelift.
google avatar

Tyeesha H.

Yelp
The food was ok for a buffet not the best .. it was pricey I wouldn't go again... I recommend if you like sushi this a great place for you... the sushi buffet look the best.service was regular waiter was slow... the restaurant was big but it wasn't the best decor.

Suzette W.

Yelp
We walked in and no buffet prices were posted anywhere. The lady charged us $30 for dinner and $31+ for card. Looking at other reviews, we were overcharged. There was another lady hovering over the crab legs and divvying out small portions to patrons. I think the cashier staff is up charging certain people. We won't be back due to the dishonesty.
google avatar

Bob H.

Yelp
Decent Chinese buffet. No problems. Would come back here. My kid was very picky about what to eat. I like it. Definitely recommend to others
google avatar

Matt G.

Yelp
Who the heck is giving this anymore than two stars?! This place is sub par at best. Poor selection the food is not fresh or good. Below average at best. Some dishes including the sushi poor. 4 people was $85 for lunch. We could have done better at Olive Garden.

Yelp

Cham L.

Yelp
Food okay but some not okay, salty most of them. I don't like no tips but 10% service charge. Service for what? I get food by myself. That's stupid in Las Vegas. That the reason running out of tourism.

Ed B.

Yelp
Great deal on AYE crab. Get their early and discount if u pay cash. The rest of the buffet is pretty solid. But the crab is legit. Busy place, limited parking and service is a bit spotty (it was packed when we went). Beware, place is noisy and not very big.
google avatar

Melissa S.

Yelp
The staff here are so great! They make sure you are taken care of with everything you need to enjoy the buffet. I can in on Friday for the dinner to enjoy the crab legs and it was good! Good option for the price and it felt clean. I will be back!
google avatar

Carmen L.

Yelp
Average, not much seafood, no crablegs. Price went up to 18.99/person for lunch vs $13.99 on opening.

Yelp
Here for a convention and had a big group and they were very accommodating for big parties. The food was great for a great price. $25 including drink and tips.

Yelp
So I walk into this Asian buffet for lunch... Because, you know, I like to start my day with regret... and an egg roll. I get to the counter, and the guy says to me very calmly... "Just so you know... we're about to switch over to dinner." Okay... that's fine. That's normal. I figure they're just gonna bring out a couple extra trays. A little lo mein, maybe throw on some shrimp you know, let lunch evolve into dinner. Like a buffet smooth jazz transition. But then he says: "Most of the lunch items are going away... and you're not allowed to touch the dinner food." Wait... WHAT? So lemme get this straight... I pay full price for lunch... and I can only eat what's left of it? That's like buying a concert ticket and being told, "You can come in for the encore... but don't even look at Beyoncé." This man looked me dead in the face and said, "You can't touch the dinner items. ""Sir, step away from the crab rangoon. And you know what? I didn't even eat there. Yeah. I turned around and left. Because the only thing sadder is staying to eat a few old, leftover lunch trays.

Yelp
My husband and I had tried the one located on Flamingo and then discovered the one on Rainbow Blvd, it was different and had seafood, crab legs and many great dishes. Today we tried the one on Nellis Blvd. It was nice too, they different items but we did the lunch buffet and they were preparing the dinner buffet which had a lot of amazing looking choices too. We may go back to try their dinner. The service was good and the food tasted good too!
