Kirkwood Kravingz: Takeout & Kocktails

My friend suggested we go here one day during the week. I was very excited to try them out especially since they were in the area I grew up in. I will start with my cons and end with my pros. Cons: the lady put my order in as take out without asking me so I ended up waiting over an hour for my food. Since I didn’t know, my food sat on the counter for a good minute and was eventually mistakenly handed to another customer that ordered to go. The lady that took the order was nice enough to bring the food back in but the lady behind the counter thought it would then be okay to walk that same god that the lady walked out the door with and opened, to me as I was sitting at the table… 😩 next issue, the snapper wrap was a waste of money. It was very scaly and had little actual amounts of fish. Lastly, my salad that I ate for lunch the next day had a spot of mold… Pros: after me addressing my order what was surprisingly brought to me after being walked out the door and opened, I did not get any push back (as I was hoping). A guy walked over and apologized for the incident even though the woman never did. They have $5 happy hour on select drinks daily. The nachos were pretty good and my family enjoyed their food. The inside is small but the atmosphere was nice. The service was pleasant and they were patient with me ordering. Overall, it was a good experience and I intend to continue visiting and trying other menu items.

I absolutely love Kirkwood Kravingz! I’ve visited every night they’re open because the food is always hot, fresh, and cooked to order-just the way I like it. While I wait, I enjoy their happy hour (5-8), especially the $5 margaritas (you can even add a flavor for just $1 more!). The atmosphere is always welcoming. Since I was born and raised in Kirkwood, I often run into old friends and neighbors, which makes the experience even more special. We catch up over good drinks and even better vibes. It’s funny, I’ve ordered the Zone 6 Margarita so many times that I’ve given it a nickname: “Keke from Kirkwood “. If you’re ever in the area or just looking for a spot with awesome, affordable food, stop by Kirkwood Kravingz. Be sure to see Nia and Bethany behind the bar for a great drink, and tell them I sent you!

This restaurant opened around Jun 2025. I’m very impressed with the interior including the bathroom. The chicken sandwich was juicy, delicious, and huge. Service was great. I put 4 stars in atmosphere because with music was too loud.

Historic back drop to some timeless and soulful food. I enjoyed my experience and loved how tasty the wings I had were. They are setting a great example for restaurants for generations to come.

If I could give this grilled snapper sandwich more than 10 stars, I would. Actually, scratch that—it’s a solid 20/10!!! And the sweet potato fries? OMG!! If you’re not ordering this, then what are you doing??!!! My only question is what will I order next time, cause I’ll definitely be back 😋😋😋😋

Absolutely delicious. Food is delicious, the staff is welcoming, love the look inside. Have been here 3 times already brought our family from Houston and Austin here and they loved it. Love the red snapper sandwich and fries! They love the fried shrimp And fries!

I loved my first experience here. I came on a Friday, and ordered 4 drinks, a shot and the 6 pcs hot lemon pepper wings with the fried okra *chefs kiss* I will be back. The bartender Morgan was great and Cory the owner/manager was personable and great too! Me and my bestie stayed the whole happy hour

I had an amazing experience at Kirkwood Kravingz! From the moment I walked in, Auri greeted me with a warm smile and went above and beyond to explain the menu and how to order. She made the whole process easy and enjoyable — you can tell she really cares about customer service. The food was incredible — you can taste the freshness in every bite. Everything was seasoned perfectly and made with quality ingredients that stand out from the usual spots. And let me tell you, their happy hour drinks are on point! Great flavors, perfectly mixed, and the vibe was just right. If you’re in the area, definitely stop by Kirkwood Kravingz. Between the excellent service from Auri, the fresh food, and those awesome drinks, this place easily earns five stars!

Had the best experience here. Parking is right in front and the establishment is attached to a gas station. The pumps are out front. This restaurant is so cute and it is decorated really nicely. It wasn't crowded and the orders are made to go, but you can sit inside and eat too. We were greeted immediately upon entering. The Kirkwood area is one of those areas where you can walk to everything. It's super cute too. Alexis advised us we could sit, but would need to order at the counter. The menu is accessed by a QR code on the table. Our food only took about 10-15 minutes to be ready. I got the nachos with grilled lemon pepper shrimp and sweet chili Doritos. It was amazing. Best nachos I have ever had. Alexis let us know she was the owner and also the owner of Southern Queenz. The staff we interacted with were so kind and helpful. We will definitely come back. For this spot to be new, they operate like pros who have been in business years and years.
