A true gem! Right from the start you're greeted like family & the food is consistently prepared to perfection. We just celebrated our 14th anniversary & Ki's was a no brainer for the food, the great mix of people & amazing staff! We highly recommend experiencing this place & the Sunday brunch is perfecto!

Can't say enough good things about this restaurant, I'm very hard to impress, but this is the place! Everything was amazing from the warm bread-and-butter (Olive Oil) to the desserts, cocktails and the Entries are just fantastic

For a nice sit down restaurant where you can go in wearing jeans or an evening dress, this is the place. Its not a typical Greek restaurant, nor is it a expensive steakhouse. There is something on the menu for everyone. Excellent appatizers, soups, salads, entrees, seafood and even rack of lamb ! I have never had a bad meal or experience here ! And again, there prices are relatively cheap for the high quality food and service you get here. It's also nice sitting in the back room with huge windows all around that look out to the goats and donkey. When I want a comfort place, with comfort food- I'll be at Kis. It seems like you forget if you had a bad day. I love this place! The owner is also adorable and very friendly.

I was excited trying out this relic. Unfortunately they dropped the ball on cooking my steak to order. Ordered medium rare, got medium well, tasted nasty! We were pressed for time and we didn't have time to wait for them to try again. Nothing taken off bill? We enjoyed dining al fresco though. Would have been nice for the server to keep drinks topped instead of having to ask every single time.

The owner and staff are very friendly. The restaurant is decorated for the holiday. We tried the baked French onion soup, and it was good. We also tried the filet trio with mash and asparagus, the patty melt, and the Beef Wellington. Everything was cooked just right and tasted great. We will definitely visit again.

The food was excellent. The atmosphere was wonderful. The owner greeted us himself and is fascinating and very friendly. We will definitely be back.

Food was good specially the Calamari and Shrimp De Jong. The lobster was SUPER SUPER expensive. The menu stated saying it was “Market Rate” but when the bill came out, the dish turned out to be $90+. The customer should be made aware if the price is this high.

Ki's Restaurant in Glendale Heights has a great Sunday brunch buffet and such a welcoming vibe. The buffet has tons of options, everything is fresh and tasty, and it never feels picked over. You can really enjoy taking your time and trying a little of everything. The best part is the staff and owners--they're incredibly friendly and make you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. It feels like a true neighborhood spot where people actually care. Perfect place for a relaxed Sunday brunch with family or friends. We love it here!

My family and friends treated me to the brunch for my birthday last month. Everyone enjoyed the food. The service was impeccable and the owner is a special man.

We had a reservation scheduled for Friday 12/12/25 at 6:30 PM for five people, They told us several times that our table would be ready soon At 7:15 PM, I think he was the owner, he offered to sit our group in two separate booths ...??? Please don't be so ridiculous... At that point, we decided to just leave. I get that it's a Friday, I get that it's the holidays. We didn't get an apology...from anyone..?? It's just bad Customer service, and bad planning.

Have been going to KI's for years and the food, service, and people have always been great. Recently made reservation on a Friday night, which were confirmed but 45 minutes later we were still waiting. Owner tried to split out party into two different booths but we there to eat and enjoy each others company, no be at different tables. So almost 1-hour of waiting, we left. What happened to honoring a reservation?!?! Then we went to leave and because they allow semi-trucks to park in their lot, parking was very limited and some inconsiderate Ass, double parked behind us and we could not get out! WTH?!?! Happy Holidays and Good Will- NOT! I heard KI's is closing and after the way we were treated, I can't say I am sad but we will miss some of the servers.

Great food, and exceptional service. Nice atmosphere inside, and out. They gave us bread and vegetables to feed the animals. Fun experience will be going back.

I had the pecan crusted halibut. Well it isn't encrusted with pecans it was lightly breaded with some crushed pecans on top. Very disappointed and will likely not go back.

Can't believe we haven't been here yet! But now this will be a staple in our dining out places to go! This establishment has old world charm combined with beautiful scenery and fabulous friendly faces greeting you at every turn! The service was accurate and spot on! Never had to wait for anything! Our waitress gave excellent recommendations and we all had an amazing meal! Generous portions and food was plated well! The baked potato was perfect! Great selection of wine and spirits as well! Go there and ask for a window seat to watch the goats graze!

The ambiance was great! The hostess was all smiles and very welcoming! You immediately feel comfortable. The decor is an older feel but nice! The food was great! We had a great cup of cream of chicken rice. Very creamy, tasty and just enough for a starter! My wife had a chopped salad that was presented in a very new school bowl! Large and a little artistic. A lot of fresh veggies, , guacamole and fresh lettuce. It was delicious. I had the chicken spinakia. A breaded, boneless chicken breast covered in saganaki cheese and giardinera! The dish was large, cooked perfectly. Very good! All in all I enjoyed a relaxing meal served by courteous, smiling people. Great service! Five stars!

I LOVE Ki's. It offers consistently great food with spectacular service. A very friendly, welcoming atmosphere - great for any occasion. Wonderful menu offering many different choices. My last visit for lunch I ordered a half sandwich that was stuffed with very tasty moist turkey w/slice of tomato - I could hardly fit it in my mouth. $11.00 ?? Where can you eat lunch for $11.00?? (Also ccompanied by a cup of beef barley soup) Sooo good. BUT - my strongest suggestion? Do not go home without ordering their homemade banana cream pie for dessert. OMG...... To die for. That is a supreme treat not to be missed!!

We have celebrated every holiday at Ki's for the past five years. However we celebrated Easter there this past Sunday for brunch and we were very disappointed. Service was excellent but the quality of the food was less than expected. The quantity was plenty but the quality was less than average. Also the price went up to $52.95 per person and then on top of that they charged $4.50 for coffee and a Diet Coke each plus an $8.50 liquor charge. I would have never ordered a mimosa had I known it was going to be $8.50. For what you charge per person coffee soft drinks and mimosas should be included. After spending $225 for three people to have Easter Brunch we could have had a feast at home and guaranteed food would be hot and delicious. We definitely will be looking elsewhere in the future.

We found Ki's during co-vid. One of the few places that was open. Thanks! We have been dining here ever since. We go at least once a month. Live in Palatine, worth the ride. The management is great! The wait staff is always very attentive, and kind. The food...we have ordered several different things on the menu. Never disappointed.

The shrimp dejohn and cheese appetizers were fantastic, and the hospitality was top-notch. I always look forward to visiting because of the cozy vibes and wonderful atmosphere.

Great service overall. The food was a bit overpriced--$22 for chicken alfredo felt steep at first--but the portion size was very generous and definitely made up for it. In fact, it could've easily fed two people, which I didn't realize until after I ordered. I originally planned to get a steak, but at $50, I decided to pass. The decor throughout the restaurant is stylish and inviting, though the bathrooms could use an update--the ceiling looked quite dated.

I've been going to Ki's since I was five years old! The Best! Handicapped access. They have a ramp It is a beautiful place to eat. I haven't been on the ROOFTOP yet but plan to. IF you want to eat there for special occasions, call a month in advance. I'm going for the Easter Buffet and for Mother's Day! I Highly recommend this restaurant for anything you want to remember. My brother Gary loved Ki's as did my Mom and Dad! My brother's funeral dinner was there as was my Mom's. . The staff can handle anything. The food is excellent. The kids can go outside with a parent and see the ducks in the back. So pretty. Best restaurant to serve people, elderly, and children. I Hope this helps. The buffet is outstanding! Try it and see.

Great food.their Lamb chops are terrific. Seasoned & marinated perfect.will definitely be coming back. Gonna try the ribeyethis time . My server was great. Jamie. Nice person. Terry is the owner. Their menu offers great selections and all of their food is delicious. If you get there when it's not very crowded, you can get seated by the windows and watch the animals playing outside. Their brunch is out of this world, especially the buffet. Service is awesome and everyone is so friendly. This is a must try Place.

Last night was the first time that I've eaten here in seven years. The place was very busy but we had reservations and were seated immediately. The food was excellent, I had the fettuccine Alfredo with Blackened shrimp and cream of broccoli soup. The service was phenomenal, our server Heather, kept coming back to make sure that we had everything we needed. Good food, good service, very clean place equals Five Star Rating.

The service is amazing! Our family members frequent it weekly. We come in from out of town and have been here twice and even though it's not many times, it is a highlight of our trips. To say the staff is amazing is an understatement. You can dress up or down. No one really cares. You can sit in the dinning room and have a quaint meal or you can sit at the bar with some friends and enjoy some drinks while you pick out songs on TouchTunes and the gaming machines. The outside deck is fun. Love all of this but let me get down to what the best part is... Moe the donkey and the other animals on the back part of their lot. So much fun!!!! Get the Shrimp Dejonghe. It will blow your socks off. Dip the bread in the leftover butter. The fettuccine Alfredo is delicious. Salads also delicious. Can't recommend it enough. If you are not a local, might I recommend a shot of Malort at the bar? It tastes terrible but while in Chicago, you have to do it just once.

Ki's still has it! It's probably been two decades since I last ate there but it hasn't lost a beat. The macadamia nut crusted halibut and the prime rib were both excellent. Service and atmosphere were also both great which can be hard to find nowadays. A bit on the pricier side but when everything meets or beats expectations it's worth it. Not going to wait so long to return! Don't snooze on this place.

Food was excellent as were the drinks. Staff extremely friendly Farmyard view was interesting and rustic.

Overpriced mediocrity. Imagine culinary trends of the 90s, now bury it in sauce to disguise that nothing here is fresh. Oysters that are largely inedible on their own, and require horseradish to stomach. Alfredo? How cute. But even here it fails because it's watery. I can't imagine how much here comes from a can or is prepackaged. Avoid at all costs.

First time, went with friends. It's been around forever just never tried them out. Great menus, food tasted great and service was perfect. Even the atmosphere was very welcoming We found a new place frequent.

The waitress obviously didn't pay attention. The order was wrong, came cold. The steak came rare when I ordered medium well. Crust on the steak was overwhelming and couldn't even taste the steak. It was our first time there and was not impressed. Won't be back. Got pie that was like boxed freezer pie sitting in the refrigerator too long

This restaurant has a great down home atmosphere. It's similar to a Wisconsin supper club. Their food is delicious, and their drinks are generous.

Better off going to Texas roadhouse for tlyour meal. Tonight's special was 20.00 more and 3 Oz less. The presentation wasn't all that and neither was the service. Not even the sides were worth mentioning. I like a big baked potato with my steak. Even the ambiance at TRH is better.

I dine here once a month with a club I belong to. The owner and staff are always welcoming. Service is stellar and they are always accommodating. I have never been disappointed in any meal I've had there. The dining room is spacious and warm. I always look forward to dining here.

Wow! Back in town with my lovely bride we're going to visit some family over in Iowa and doctors appointments etc. Flew in from Tampa Florida. Must've been nuts since it was colder than the dickens here. So what would be better than being in Illinois colder than the dickens and stopping at Kies and having one of the Most amazing times. It was like old family and friends. Whether they knew you or not. I enjoyed my favorite Boat beverage with my good friend. But hey you're looking for a food review. So after my flight my bride wasn't up to coming in for dinner with lots of regrets to Terry. But I'm not an idiot, Terry's team is that good. I placed an order to go for shrimp and salad for Peggy and I ordered the shish kebabs made with chicken. Back to the hotel room, I opened the bag, oh my my my the goodies. First the onion soup. It was to die for. Fortunately it's a pretty large serving and since we're going to stay over another day I may get to enjoy this delight tomorrow. Next up was the salad for Peggy, spinach, strawberries feta cheese and really great dressing with shrimp mixed into the whole thing. My bride does not normally say this and it was unusual but she said it was delicious. Which I asked a question would you get it again? She said absolutely. So I guess you can take that as a recommendation for the salad shrimp strawberries. I was debating what to get because there's so many good things there. The tenderloin sliders, the shrimp Dijon, whatever oh let's not forget Terry's pork chop. I came in after they were closed in Covid driving in from Iowa and Terry had that set up for me. Boy what a way to spoil the customers. So I had the chicken kebab. I don't know how I've gone all these years without having it but boy that was a mistake. That kabobs is definitely on my to do list on a regular basis. . Summary: if you've been to Kies you already know how good it is. If you haven't been there it's worth the effort. Please check it out you will not be disappointed. And if you see Terry tell him hi from the guy on the boat.

We just had a celebratory graduation dinner at KI's restaurant. It was fantastic, the food was great, the service was excellent and all of my guests were very satisfied. Several came to me to let me know that the servers were very attentive, very friendly, and very personal. Shout out to our servers Anthony and George who Covered all 30+ guests with excellent acumen. The back room where we were sitter had excellent views of the zoo that is on site, and was a welcome site for all the kids. Some of the kids even went out to feed the animals. Needless to say we will be back for our next event, and more then likely my guests will be booking their gatherings there as well.

This just happens to be one of my go-to places. I have been eating here for years and I have never been disappointed. The menu has a lot of entrees options as well as appetizers, soups and deserts. On this visit I had an appetizer for my lunch. It was their calamari. Their calamari is always cooked to perfection. Tender and great tasting with a ton of sauce on the side. That with a cocktails and all set to go! We were there for over two hours. HA! You will love this place!

Made a reservation via tele, very friendly. The restaurant made us feel welcomed, put us at a window table which had a nice view of the farm next door. Our server was very informative, gracious and patient. The food was very delicious, the portions huge! The bill was very reasonable, $200 for four people each ordering an alcoholic drink.

We have been coming here for a long time and I'm never disappointed by the service, food and drinks. This visit was for my son birthday and everything was great and we enjoyed a great meal with our family. The menu has something for everyone and we have not tried everything on the menu over the years but we have not been disappointed by anything we have tried. On the weekends it's a good idea to make reservations because it can get crowded. I would highly recommend Ki's.

One of my out of town friends discovered this place on Yelp and it immediately became a favorite. Every time he visits we have to go here. It's similar to an old speakeasy. The food is great; everyone I have brought here has loved it. I particularly like their fried shrimp lunch and dinner options; two of my friends have each had the Macadamia Encrusted Halibut and both have raved about it. I also particularly enjoy the owner's "farm" next door, I love watching the animals while I eat. The service is great and the owner is very nice. It's located on the south side of North Avenue so it's a little weird but once inside it is nothing but kindness and great food.

This is such an amazing place with local family and history. The owner is active in the store, the service is point and great to interact with. Our food was amazing, starting with French onion soup, best ever. Followed by open face turkey, great flavor and massive portions

Well I like the fact of what they stand for and this is my 3rd time I have gone here because of how City of Chicago is dictating restrictions on dining in. The seafood and other dishes are great! I had traditional pot roast which was rich and flavorful. Very savoring. Also they have the best French onion soup. Not too salty like outback steakhouse. Other dishes are the escargot or snails, baked oysters in regards to great appetizers. My friend order a shrimp dinner and was impressed by how they did not used to much batter to The shrimp. Their chicken alfredo and salmon dish is delicious as well. Also try their desserts like coconut pie. My friend's boyfriend had the Siddiqui hamburger and fries. Was good too. All in all if they keep it up I will go here because other restaurants are afraid to defy dining in from our governor

Ate here once and it was fine. Happened to be out somewhere once and the owner (or his son, whatever he is) was drunk. He went on a racist rant arguing with people at his table and made a scene. Definitely used the "N" word a whole bunch, as well as some slurs about Jews and poor people. I have no need to support a person or business like that.

Went here this past Monday night. The host he was super nice and seated us right away. Sat for 10 minutes no server. People are being seating all around us and the server goes to them and takes drink orders . Now don't get wrong. If it was a super busy night I would've understood that even if they would've came up and said I'll be right with you guys just some type of acknowledgment that would've been fine. But nothing at all. We will try again another time and hopefully enjoy a dinner

Edited to reflect correct amount of PPP money the applied for and received. *Was like walking into a bad 80's movie. Not sure why they haven't used their forgiven PPP loan for ***$330,000 towards new decor? They certainly didn't have any issues staying WIDE open during Covid. So no fiscal losses regarding business! In fact they were exceptionally busy because no competition. I figured they would have used that forgiven loan for some new carpet at least. Food subpar. Service was great with the wait staff but the Daughter of the owner needs an attitude check. Wow! She's terrible.
