"Yes this exists, yes it is delicious. Salt cheese tea has taken over Asia in a way not seen since, well bubble tea, but has yet to really take off in London. Kissaten, along with dessert parlour Yi Fang, are one of the few places tentatively introducing it. It’s well worth trying, salty cream cheese often works well in desserts, both counteracting and accentuating sweetness, here it balances out the cloying notes of nutty, roasted hojicha milk while providing a fluffy head to sip it through." - Jonathan Nunn

Rose milk tea was delicious. Although softly sweetened (second lowest sweetness), it’s still quite sweet in my opinion. I prefer having it with black pearls rather than their current selection of toppings!

Lovely boba tea spot with a cute selection of unique gacha machines ! I had the honey milk tea with crystal jelly as they had run out of their handmade tapioca, nevertheless was delicious!! Was open quite late too so was lovely and quiet and was served swiftly !! Would recommend thanks guys :)) x

Brilliant little place to pick up some of my favorite Japanese bites, and a few gatcha capsules, too. The kiosks make is extremely easy to order and the food is served piping hot. Always on my visit list when visiting Manchester.

Kissaten is such a fun and unique bubble tea spot in Manchester! Their menu has a huge variety of drinks to choose from, and I especially love their seasonal specials – it keeps me curious to try something new each visit. Prices are a little on the higher side, but the flavours and quality make it worth it. On top of that, they host events which add to the lively atmosphere, and the gacha machines are such a brilliant touch – it feels like stepping into a little slice of Japan without leaving the city.

Flavour wise it was nice but after paying almost £9 for a large karaage I expected more than a barely half filled container. Not sure if they're rationing but value wise it's abysmal.

Kissaten is definitely one of my favorite bubble tea shops in London. Gave it a try during my short visit to Manchester today and was not disappointed. The Hojicha Genmai Milk Tea tasted exactly the same as what I had in London. Highly recommended!

Its rather pricey compared to other local shops. Theres a selection of vending mchines that my daughter liked. The drinks menu is quite extensive although the shop was empty and it took a while for it to arrive.

Really enjoyed the tea from here, I had the lychee rose with rose boba, and my husband had the hojicha with salted cheese. Both of us thoroughly enjoyed it. Was a little more on the pricey side compared to what I'm used to in Sheffield and drinks took a while, hence 4 stars, but still would come again! (Also is wheelchair accessible, managed to just squeeze through the door which was great!)
