Our friend group enjoyed a delightful late lunch here, basking in the beautiful weather on the open air patio. The food was not just tasty but accompanied by exceptional service, enhancing our experience. The homemade syrups were a hit, and the main courses stood out for their rich flavors and appealing presentation. However, the highlight of our meal was undoubtedly the dessert. Their krémes not only delighted our taste buds but firmly places this restaurant on the map as a must-visit. Unfortunately the krémes was gone before we were able to take a picture of it. Its not just a meal- its an experience we’re eager to repeat!

We went to the restaurant for dinner, we did not stay at the hotel. First of all the service was very disappointing, after having the menu for only a minute they wanted to know what we wanted to eat without having explained the specials. We ordered 4 dishes but only received 3, which I'm glad because the food was fairly disappointing. We had ordered 2 appetizers a chicken soup and asparagus dish. We did not receive the asparagus even after we pointed to it on the menu and explained to the waiter we would each be having an appetizer and not sharing. The chicken soup was very bland, the risotto main was ok but not great ( it was recommended over the other dishes by the waiter). The venison which were were excited about trying and was highly recommend was very very dry and left a weird feeling in my mouth the sauce with it was supposed to be hunter sauce but was very sweet. Would not recommend The service was also terrible, I wanted to pair wine with our courses and was.told.by the waiter the sommelier was very knowledgeable and would be over to make suggestions. He never came by our table despite the waiter supposedly asking him to twice. The sommelier provided other tables with tasting flights and spoke with everyone else but ignored us. The waiter tried to suggest a wine but was not knowledgeable. When asked for an acidic, crisp, mineral white he suggested a fruity sweetish wine because "most women order it" definably not what I was looking for.

I am only reviewing the restaurant, where I had a pleasant meal yesterday. Food was nice and well prepared, though we had a limited number of options on the menu for our taste. Most items are popular traditional dishes priced reasonably. You might need to order a salad on the side as nearly all items come with, for example, potatoes only. Ample parking, nice boxed seating, though that might not be the best option for some of the elderly customers. It was relatively quiet around 7pm on a Saturday.

Great restaurant where true hospitality still exists. Hearty portions, unfortunately we could not try the desserts. Even though it was busy, service was quick and excellent.

I have stayed in this recently built hotel for business purposes. Rooms are new and very comfortable, balcony was a chery on top of the cake... I especially liked the restaurant attached to the hotel, supertasty. Staff is polite, nice and helpfull. Way to go! Highly recommended.

We went with some local friends, for whom this is one of their favourite places. We would have to agree! Excellent, interesting menu for all tastes (inc. vege and vegan); great wine and superb service. Kid friendly options as well for 7 & 9 year olds. Next time we are near Lake Balaton on the south side, we will certainly return. A wonderful evening!

Good morning, I have travel the world and I have stayed in Balaton several times. I have to congratulate you for the concept, the room is soundproof, the breakfast was great, the fact that we were able to check-in late, the room and the hotel is spotlessly clean, the parking has cameras and we were able to park our motorcycle in safe place. Thumbs up! We will only stay here when in Balaton! Thank you!
