"Kit allows coffee lovers a more creative way to get their daily caffeine intake through several specialty drinks. A strawberry Alarm Clock is a sweet start to the day, channeling the bliss of a strawberry milkshake while containing two shots of espresso and fresh strawberry puree. For an additional dopamine hit, Kit sells plants alongside its beverages." - Jordan Morosco

3 Best Day Trips from San Diego | Condé Nast Traveler

"MacBook-toting 20- and 30-somethings flock to this modern, clean-lined cafe, which serves up an array of drinks (classic espresso drinks, iced matchas, kombucha) and a bunch of fancy toasts. Don't sleep on the soft scramble with chives and shaved Parmesan, the cilantro bacon with tomato jam, or the brûléed matcha. The real standout, though, is the avocado toast, with colorful pickled veggies make it prime fodder for the 'gram." - Archana Ram

This café offers a fantastic and well-organized menu with something for everyone. Here’s what you’ll find: - Avocado Toasts (from $11 to $18) It includes Caprese ($14), Garden ($14), Smoked with bacon ($15), Spring with goat cheese and lemon vinaigrette ($14), Hot ‘n Sweet with chili flakes and honey ($11), and Lox Avocado Toast with smoked salmon and lemon vinaigrette ($18) - Breakfast Burrito with scrambled egg, rice, hash browns, cheese, and bacon or chorizo ($16) - Cilantro Fried Rice with bacon, tomato jam, grilled onion, parmesan ($13) - Soft Scramble Toast with extra soft eggs and parmesan ($9) - Sunnyside Arugula Salad with avocado, vinaigrette, tomatoes, and two fried eggs ($13) - Extras and add-ons range from $1 to $5 - eggs, toast swaps, bacon, veggies, salad, etc. - Sweet Brulée Toast ($7) - caramelized brioche dusted with your choice of cinnamon, matcha, or sour cherry The sour cherry brulée toast is the highlight of the whole menu. It's something you've probably never tasted before - totally unique and insanely good! Highly recommended, it's really really delicious! They serves a wide range of drinks including espresso-based options like lattes, cappuccinos, and americanos, as well as brewed coffee and cold brew. And also offer a variety of teas, both classic and organic, including matcha, chai, jasmine, and herbal blends. There’s plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors, a restroom inside with a code, and free parking that’s usually easy to find. But the main reason to come here is the toasts. Especially the sour cherry brulée toast. You’ve never tried anything like this - it’s something completely new and absolutely delicious. Seriously, it’s really really good.

they make it so easy to be a favorite! tried almost everything on their menu and it is really really good! don’t miss out the burrito!

This was a solid breakfast burrito that stood out because of the cilantro lime rice and caramelized onions. The size was enough to share with my husband and both of us felt full afterwards!

Coffee is consistently excellent! The baristas really hustle and get all the orders out correctly. There is a reason it’s often busy… So good!!!

We have been going to Kit for quite some time now and the Ube Latte is always the go to for us. Has great flavor and the little chunks at the bottom of the drink are like little boba pieces that are so good! Do not get the food too often, but tried out the toast with some bacon added and was pretty solid choice. Definitely recommend adding some bacon to the toast that you get!

After Pilates, I stopped by KIT Coffee for a much-needed caffeine fix, and it made my morning even better. The atmosphere is amazing—bright, welcoming, and just the right vibe to relax or get some work done. The staff is super friendly, which makes the experience even nicer. And of course, the coffee was delicious! Their beans have a lighter roast, giving the coffee a smooth, balanced taste that I really enjoyed. My friend enjoyed her Matcha latte as well❤️ Definitely a spot I’d come back to!

No glaze but this was the best breakfast I ever had and best matcha I ever had

Parking Info: Free parking in a shopping center lot. The parking lot is super busy. This shopping center seems to be at war with a nearby apartment complex over parking so there are signs everywhere saying parking is only for this center (which is fine if you're going to Kit!). I think there is also complementary valet on the side. I had to stalk some people to get a spot, it's that kind of place. It was around 11am on a non holiday Thursday. All the employees were super nice. Food was tasty. Coffee was great. Vibes were good. Excellent spot.

Yelp
This café hums with a rhythm that feels both familiar and aspirational--a blend of morning runs, weekend chatter, and the clinking of cups that carries the energy of a community in motion. It's not a retreat so much as a convergence, where people come to meet life halfway, caffeinated and open-hearted. I've been here before, but this time I ordered the Ube Cloud, or was it the Ube Dream? Either way, I asked for a matcha shot, and let me tell you, that simple addition felt like discovering a secret chord. The ube itself is lush and grounding, like a memory you can taste. The matcha doesn't overpower but lifts it, adding a grassy, bittersweet complexity that makes you wonder why this combination isn't more common. For fans of either flavor, the two together are a no-brainer--a harmony you didn't know you needed. My friend ordered a cappuccino and gave it a nod of approval, and with her taste, I trust that means something. But beyond the drinks, there's a dedication here, a sense that every detail is intentional. The service is attentive without being overbearing, and the staff keep the space spotless, even when it's packed. And it does get packed. On weekends, especially around noon, parking can feel like a scavenger hunt--scarce and requiring a little patience. Plan ahead, because once you're inside, the buzz of the crowd feels like a reward rather than an inconvenience. This isn't a quiet cafe to tuck away with a book; it's a space to connect--over coffee, conversation, or even the ricotta yuzu toast, which I've had before and still think about. It's the kind of food that reminds you what care tastes like. Kit Coffee doesn't just serve coffee; it serves moments, fleeting and vibrant, like sun through a window. And that's what keeps me coming back. It's a place that gets it--what coffee is and what it can be.

Yelp
came because i heard about the matcha, was disappointed with the taste. matcha was extremely weak, strawberry milk did not stand out, it felt like i was tasting a slightly sweet oat milk. kit coffee says they use mizubi matcha (which i love), yet i could barely taste it. service was quick though at least but the place was a bit loud at 2 PM. very berry matcha: 6/10, for $7 didn't taste anything except for milk with a little sweetener.

Yelp
As a Newport Beach local, I love popping over to KIT coffee when I want a treat on the weekend. Their signature drinks are flavorful and sweet, and the quality of their coffee and matcha is evident, even behind the flavors. I tried their food for the first time recently, and while $16 seemed steep for a breakfast burrito, it was so good and filling that I ate it for two meals. Definitely worth it! I haven't dined in, as it gets crowded and parking can be difficult. However, I find their online ordering and their regular service to be quick, friendly, and easy. Also, if you come on a Saturday or Sunday morning, you're sure to find lots of cute dog friends. Overall 5/5, one of my favorite places around.

Yelp
Came to KIT Coffee to try their breakfast burrito. I had seen pics online and it looked promising! Their breakfast burrito is $16 - eggs, hash browns, cilantro rice, cheddar cheese and your choice of protein (bacon, chorizo or soyrizo). It's a decent size and comes with red and green salsas. The burrito was nicely grilled and had a good mix of ingredients. Sometimes breakfast burritos can have too much eggs or too much potatoes, but this was perfectly balanced. It was a completely satisfying meal. I would definitely come back for another one! There's indoor and outdoor seating available. Lots of parking in the lot.

Yelp
I usually love this locations for coffee and they make great cold espressos - however, today when I ordered an ube dream latte with a shot of espresso; it tasted much different than usual. I ordered this early in the morning, so maybe they used a bad batch of leftover coconut cream or something on top. The latte tasted sour/spoiled and was pretty much inedible :(
google avatar

Yessica C.

Yelp
Service was really quick even though the location was super busy! I love the variety of Matcha flavors they offered. I tried the raspberry I believe and orange and will say orange was my favorite. Orange and Matcha are just my favorite and not a lot of places offer it so I was happy to have it here there is plenty of seating even though the place is small. And I appreciate that there is free parking (not common in LA so LOVE)

Yelp
I was excited to try KIT Coffee because I love to see a diverse drink menu with unique flavors like ube and seasonal drinks like pumpkin spice. I tried the Strawberry Alarm Clock (iced latte with strawberry oat milk), which had the perfect amount of sweetness and a caffeine kick! For something as simple as strawberry milk, I really enjoyed the flavor notes and would order this again. Atmosphere is nice and bright inside with plenty of sitting inside and outside. I came on a Saturday afternoon and it was pretty busy, so I had to wait a while for my drink but i'd say it was worth it!

Yelp
Overall I was very underwhelmed. The matcha latte did not taste much like matcha + the toast tasted extremely basic. I've definitely have tasted better at multiple surrounding cafes/coffee shops. Their WiFi is also difficult to connect to + there's no outlet, making this a non ideal place to work/study at. Parking is also not easy. However the staff is super friendly. Not a bad place if you dont know where else to go but I personally would not return.

Yelp
I'm a big breakfast girlie and I am so happy I discovered KIT! I tried their cilantro fried rice and their cinnamon brulee toast. I like a sweet and salty with my meal and this was the perfect match. The toast was Crispy, and sugary without being too overly sweet. The rice was the perfect savory bite to go with it. My sister in law got the lox toast which looked super light and refreshing. As for the drink, I tried a strawberry alarm clock - iced. The perfect little pick me up. The staff was really friendly, and there was plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. It wasn't really that packed during the week, midday and parking was almost completely open. Trying the Irvine location next!

Yelp
Line to order on Saturday morning. The menu is not posted on the board, it's only 1 copy on the counter where you can only see when you order. (You can use my pictures as reference to look at the menu ahead of time.) I'm not sure if they expect people to spend 5-10 min at counter to decide what they want to regulate the flow of people, but I felt rushed to decide what I wanted to order. Cornbread matcha latte was actually good. The cream on top is creamy and tastes like cereal milk. Kimchi and fried egg avocado toast was pretty good for the flavor as it was. I personally prefer something else on avocado rather than kimchi though. I like the unique variety of flavors that is offered on the seasonal menu. We sat outside around short tables. Make sure you pick up your drinks at the counter even if you get a number for the table. The number is mainly for them to bring food. I can imagine that it would be a peaceful area but there was loud construction next door that ruined the vibe. Overall, the quality of the food is pretty good and I'm glad I got to try another brunch place.
google avatar

Leilani P.

Yelp
service was good, drinks were mid though. I asked about the cream top, and the employee didn't seem to know what I was really talking about... there's parking in the back. pretty packed place. - horchata matcha - strawberry matcha
google avatar

Yelp
I'll have to come back here for brunch as it was very popular with a line out the door. About a 10 minute wait on a Saturday morning. They should have multiple copies of the menu while people wait in line because then there was a delay when you get to the cashier cuz you're too busy reading the menu. Ube coconut latte: very coconutty and good ube flavor. Rich but not heavy and not overly sweet. My friend got the strawberry matcha latte and it was solid. Strong matcha and strawberry flavor. There is plenty of parking and more outdoor seating than indoor. Dog friendly outside too.

Yelp
Grabbed coffee and a quick breakfast here with a gal pal this weekend before a nice walk around Castaways and it was delicious! It was packed at 10 am on a Sunday but the ambiance was awesome - plenty of indoor and outdoor seating options with a great selection of specialty/seasonal and regular coffee and tea. I got the seasonal cornbread latte and it was amazing - really fragrant with a hint of sweet corn. Such a unique and fun drink. I also got the chocolate banana bread which was perfectly moist. Service was super friendly and they were great at recommending drinks based on what flavors we liked. Parking was a bit of a nightmare when I went - it's a seemingly huge lot but if you read the signs most of them are permit only for westcliff tenants. I am definitely coming back again soon!

Yelp
- parking lot was busy (Tuesday around 10/11am) but not too difficult to secure a spot - indoor and outdoor seating available, very busy at the shop as well at this time - if you order food, it'll be brought out to you but you will have to keep an eye out for your drink because they don't call your name for it - staff was nice and efficient 1. Thank you berry matcha (5/5) - sooo delicious, would definitely get again - beautiful blend of matcha, hints of strawberry, and oat milk - matcha taste is present but more on the subtle side 2. Breakfast burrito (5/5) - I got it with bacon as it was recommended as the more popular choice of protein - great crunchy and crispy textures from the bacon and hash browns - love the cilantro rice, adds more flavor than just regular rice - tortilla perfectly pressed - sauces paired well
google avatar

Yelp
Got a hot oat latte and horchata matcha. Latte was okay. . Matcha was good, but only if you're one of those people that doesnt actually like the taste of matcha. Cause there was no matcha flavor. Color was pale green af. I am always wary of places that serve larger servings of drinks cause theyre just gonna load it up with milk and ice and then you paid $7 for milk and zero matcha. But also you should know what you're signing up for when you go to a cafe in Newport. Looks like a lot of people got food. Will try some toast next time. Some seating. Lots of milennials on coffee chats/dates.

Yelp
Absolutely LOVE KIT Coffee! Their coffee and drinks are always on point, but what really sets them apart is the incredible service. One day, I was torn between a matcha or an ube drink, and the barista offered to make me the perfect custom drink--it was exactly what I needed and I truly appreciate when employees go above and beyond for their customers. The breakfast burritos are also amazing, making it a great spot for both coffee and a bite to eat. KIT Coffee has definitely become one of my top coffee spots. Highly recommend!

Trinity S.

Yelp
I've been here 4x over the past year. 3 out of the 4 times I was disappointed in my experience. Today, I ordered a gingerbread latte through the app but I took my first sip and realized they just gave me a regular latte. I walked over to Kean down the street (highly suggest this place!) to get my morning coffee instead. The other few times I've gone to KIT, the customer service is subpar - they don't greet you and when you order through the app they don't say your name when they set it on the pickup counter. Skip this spot and head over to Kean!
google avatar

Kelvin W.

Yelp
Got the strawberry espresso and it was actually very tasty! Coffee and the strawberry flavors compliment each other very well in this odd combination. Highly recommend to try it at least once!
google avatar

Joey W.

Yelp
This coffee shop has been on my list for awhile so I was excited to try it. There was seating inside and outside which was nice. It was super busy though so it took awhile for a table to clear up and for us to get our drinks (15 minutes). Strawberry Alarm Clock - the balance between the strawberry and espresso was perfect. I'm normally not an oat milk person but the strawberry oat milk was very smooth and flavorful. Highly recommend! Cozy Capp - it wasn't too sweet and it tasted like the holidays in a cup of coffee. I really enjoyed this drink too but would still prefer the strawberry alarm clock.
google avatar

Jennifer N.

Yelp
Sweet breakfast spot and amazing food. People come here for the avocado toast I hear but today I tried more than that with a group of friends and everything we ate and drank was just as impressive as the last. Loved: London fog hot tea White mint matcha tea Iced green tea Caprese avocado toast - the balsamic drizzle is so good! Cinnamon brûlée toast - perfect for those with a sweet tooth
google avatar

Yelp
Have I mentioned that I am obsessed with kit coffee's iced strawberry latte? It's one of my favorite strawberry lattes but sadly both locations are in Orange County and far away from me. But whenever I'm heading out to Laguna Beach, I make sure to stop by and grab my favorite. That's why I recommend visiting this place when you're in town. They have lots of indoor and outdoor seating and they have a free parking lot that's easily accessible.. love it!
google avatar

Lauren W.

Yelp
Such a cute place, with good seating! The strawberry alarm clock was delicious, the strawberry flavor was smooth and mixed well with the espresso. I definitely want to try their other drinks as well!!
google avatar

Yelp
I was really excited to try Kit Coffee since my sister recommended this place, especially when she talked about how good The Creamsicle was. I was glad when I heard The Creamsicle was staying for the summer because it's typically a Spring seasonal so I was able to try it. And I completely agree with her on how good the drink was! Came around 12:30pm and thankfully there wasn't a line but the tables were mostly occupied (the inside was quite spacious though and there is outside seating too). Service was good, and drinks came out relatively quick. I got The Creamsicle Matcha, which at first I was a bit hesitant on the orange and matcha combination, I was pleasantly surprised by how good this combination is. The more I drink it, the more I like it, and the orange slice was a good addition on top, making it a bit refreshing too. The cream foam was good and mixing it with the matcha made it a bit more creamy. I also appreciate that they didn't put too much ice. However, it is a bit pricy as it was $7, but I would still get it again once in awhile. Overall, Kit is a great spot to grab a drink and hang out with friends. Next time, I would want to try the Boysenberry latte seasonal so I would definitely be coming back!
google avatar

Tristen A.

Yelp
so so so good. Baristas were chill, the menu had a lot of options & the place had plenty of seats in & outside. I got the strawberry alarm clock which is just a latte made with strawberry milk & it was Y U M! The brûlée toast is a perfect sweet treat to share too
google avatar

Eve C.

Yelp
KIT has a beautiful and clean interior with very friendly employees. I ordered the ube coconut milk ($7.50) with a shot of espresso and it was delicious!! If you like a stronger coffee, I'd recommend 2 shots; it adds to the flavor but also increases the price. My friend ordered the strawberry alarm which is espresso + strawberry oat milk, but we both didn't like it. The strawberry flavor was barely present and the drink tasted watered down. It was pretty busy on a Sunday morning but we got our drinks in a timely manner. My total was $17 including tip which is pretty pricey for two drinks. I personally believe there's better coffee shops in the area but a nice spot to hang out at.
google avatar

Sharona M.

Yelp
KIT is a decent coffee shop. A bit over priced in my opinion simply based on the quality of the roast. I ordered a Strawberry Alarm Clock ($7) and the Strawberry flavor was ok but tasted a little bit artificial. As you can see in the photo it does have like strawberry flakes in it at the bottom which is kinda cool. The coffee in this drink had a funky taste. Parking was pretty tough to snag. Their checkout automatically tries to add a $1 tip which is weird. The employees were pleasant. Place was packed at 10 am on a Tuesday. Not sure how eager I am to go back. If I did I'd definitely try another drink. Maybe this one wasn't for me.
google avatar

Rebecca R.

Yelp
This place was so cute! Lots of people in here who I am guessing work from home on their laptops. This was my first time here and it was nicely decorated and clean. There want a line went on a Wednesday around 10:45 am but all tables were taken and there was no parking available in the front so I had to go around to the back lot where RA yoga is and walk to the front. The server recommended the strawberry oatmilk espresso or strawberry oatmilk matcha saying these are their most popular drinks. I got the strawberry oatmilk espresso and it was so delicious. Flavors were that of its title both strawberry and espresso and a good amount of sweetness. Total was $7 which is expensive but for the freshness and quality I think it's worth it. I'll be back for sure!
google avatar

Carla G.

Yelp
nice, clean ambiance & friendly customer service! definitely a good spot to study, there were a lot of open seats both inside and outside ~2pm. i was really excited to try the creamsicle matcha as i'd initially seen it on tiktok and was intrigued by the flavor pairing! i was pretty disappointed though, the creamsicle flavor is faint & the cream top dissolved rather quickly. the drink overall tasted watered-down. the london fog was good, though!
google avatar

Krishen W.

Yelp
I came here to finish up some work on my computer. I love the ambiance and seating availability here, it feels like there is alot of space. I ordered the matcha latte and the hot n spicy avocado toast. The latte tasted great and honestly was probably one of my favorites! The avocado toast was also really good, if you like a mix of sweet and savory, with a little kick from the chili flakes. The staff here were helpful and gave their favorites for the food! However, this place felt a bit expensive for the food which I know sometimes comes with avocado toast. Also there were no outlets, barring one that was at a high stool.
google avatar

Lily D.

Yelp
High quality coffee and breakfast food! Loved their coffee menu and crunchy bacon bits. They do great gluten free and vegan alternatives! Great staff and worth the wait of the line. Food and drinks come out quickly!
google avatar

Kristina D.

Yelp
This was our first time trying KIT coffee, and it exceeded all expectations. We were recommended to try their drinks and can confidently attest to their deliciousness and quality. The Berry Matcha and Strawberry Alarm Clock were delightful and refreshing, not to mention so pretty. The service was exceptional, and the ambiance provided a fun, fantastic, California coastal relaxed vibe.
google avatar

Yelp
Recently visited Kit Coffee & was blown away by the exceptional service along w/ delicious food & drinks they offer. The staff were friendly, welcoming & attentive from the moment I walked in. I ordered a breakfast burrito with bacon & the avocado garden toast which was absolutely mouthwatering. The combination of flavors was perfect and the portion size was generous. As for the coffee (strawberry alarm clock & iced latte) They were rich, smooth & made just the way we like it! The girl taking my order also gave a great rundown of what I should expect flavor wise w/ the strawberry alarm clock , since I had not tried anything like it before. Delicious! The atmosphere inside is welcoming, sleek, modern, and open. I highly recommend stopping by for a quick bite or a leisurely brunch - either way, you won't be disappointed! Yum!!
google avatar

Caroline T.

Yelp
I'm always looking for a good coffee spot. Came across KIT Coffee today between previewing Open Houses. As soon as you walk in, every table/seat was taken indoors and outdoors. Everyone on their laptop or just having a good time with their company. I was able to snag a seat against the wall that faces outside. I got their Vanilla Latte. You can never go wrong with that. 5/5 for sure. I'll be back!
google avatar

Maddie M.

Yelp
The coffee and KIT is great. Good flavor, rotating monthly menu highlighting specialties, and friendly baristas. There is not a lot of seating here, and restrooms are communal as part of the building itself. Overall a great place to grab coffee, but may be hard to snag a table if you're looking for a shop to work from!
google avatar

Kim G.

Yelp
Very wonderful employees, cute area very relaxing vibe awesome drinks and accommodations
google avatar

Christina S.

Yelp
I am OBSESSED with the iced boysenberry matcha! The strawberry matcha is good as well but might be a little too strawberry-y for me. I have also tried their muffins which are v tasty and their Soyrizo breakfast burrito which is just as delicious.
google avatar

Susan M.

Yelp
Jam packed for a Saturday morning! Ordered an iced oat latte and it was so yum! I really enjoyed looking around the shop and seeing so many mental health related products to brighten my day!

Sahalee D.

Yelp
The drinks here are so delish!!!!! They are made with such care and are incredible everytime! The staff is super nice and are more than happy to adjust the drinks. The shop it's self is so cute and in the perfect location to relax inside or outside and enjoy your food and drinks:) This is a must when in the area!!

Yelp
Visited Kit Coffee's Newport Beach location for the first time on sunday and it was super crowded! We had to wait a bit for our order but our drinks were worth the wait. I ordered the Purple Dream and my mom ordered the Strawberry Alarm Clock. Both were super refreshing and loved the Purple Dream because it had ube!! The last drink I tried was their Matcha Horchata and definitely recommend that drink too. FEATURING-- Purple Dream Strawberry Alarm Clock

Yelp
This is our go to place after hiking. We order on line and it's ready when we arrive. My go to is the strawberry alarm coffee and breakfast burrito. My husband says the breakfast burrito is the best he has ever had. Another favorite to share is the cilantro fried rice. It's a . My hiking mates also shared the avocado toast with lox today. They raved about how creamy the avocado was, the texture of the bread and it wasn't something they could replicate at home. The place is very clean, the staff is kind and respectful. Highly recommend coming here!

Yelp
KIT is a modern idea where its focus is to inspire guests to Keep In Touch with loved ones over a simple cup of coffee and quick bite. I love the clean and intentional interior space; it's classy, stunning, and casual. The baristas were very knowledgeable about their menu and served guests with a fun attitude. KIT has a neat selection of coffee and teas with a few specialties. They also have an array of toast options to choose from. My friend and I were given a complimentary seasonal toast to taste-test and it was such a springtime sensation. It consisted of a smooth spread of feta cheese topped with a tossed mixture of olive oil, mushrooms, oregano, and fresh lemon zest. KIT is upbeat, modern, and trendy. This is your next cafe-hopping destination for your next hangout!
google avatar

Yelp
It's very pretty inside. I ordered the matcha horchata; let's just say I only taste matcha and it's not even slightly sweet (since horchata is sweet) there is a lot of decorative cinnamon in there, but $7 for this little number??? I really expected it to be good since I hear good things but I'm glad i didn't get this before school because it would have not helped me enough. She didn't even ask me what size I wanted, she was very nice, but i'm glad she chose this small cup because I wouldn't have wanted any more than this to drink. Not to mention the lid leaks. AND they have an automatic $1 in the tip option; no thanks, I tip for good drinks. If you're looking for good matcha, try Cafe Gratitude around the corner! It's very good and the oatmilk is very creamy, just add vanilla and it is so tasty!

Yelp
Great coffee great food great ambience! A local favorite! You can order ahead if you're in a hurry too.

Briana S.

Yelp
Was told this was on of the best breakfast burritos in Orange County and while it was good it wasn't the best I've had. (Only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars). Their salsa definitely adds a ton of flavor to the burrito and I made sure I put plenty of it on because it's so tasty! Husband and I shared a burrito which was more than enough to split (we even took leftovers home). I ordered a hot chai tea latte which was so good and full of cinnamon flavor. They were very efficient in getting our food out to us quickly. Ambiance caters to family and an outside area that allows you to bring dogs on the patio to eat as well. A great spot to bring the whole family for breakfast!

Yelp
NOT SO GOOD ! My wife and I checked out this coffee shop about 12 months ago...soon after we moved to Irvine. We were looking for somewhere to get great coffees and a wholesome lunch during our Sunday bike rides. All we saw were a few croissants in a display case....the girl behind the counter explained they don't make sandwiches other than avocado toast. SO WE GAVE IT A MISS ! There were other cafes very nearby that provided decent coffees and fresh made wholesome lunch food. On Sunday we decided to at least to give this place a try. It had good online ratings and when we turned up around 1pm it looked reasonably busy. NO CROISSANTS ! The cashier said they sell out in the morning. OK ! My wife checked out the menu on a clipboard....avocado toast was her choice. The menu was completely breakfast slanted and we had enjoyed a substantial breakfast at home hours before. I don't do avocado toast but my wife was happy to order a basic version not on the menu...just avocado on toast. We also ordered 2 x 12 oz Lattes with 2% milk. I had checked out their syrups beside the espresso machine and could tell they make their own.....no thanks. I nabbed the last 2 seats inside....2 low slung stools facing the outdoor patio. My wife paid and was given table no 33. We had to collect our lattes but someone would bring out my wife's avocado toast. After a few short minutes my wife's name was called out and I walked straight over to the espresso counter to collect them....the latte art looked lovely ! After placing them on the low countertop in front of our seats we sugared them and tried them straight away. VERY SAD ! Both were barely luke warm and tasted very milky. The female cashier had reassured my wife there would be 2 espresso shots in each latte so they must be using a very light roast. My wife's avocado toast came out....just toast with avocado slapped on as requested by my wife who thought it was fine. TERRIBLE LATTES ! One always likes to loiter over a nice hot latte and drink it slowly. In this case if we waited 30 seconds more we would be drinking cold coffees. WE WON'T BE BACK ! NOTE - Of course with 20 million views of my Yelp reviews and pics world wide in 2023 I can tell you what is great !

Yelp
Best iced vanilla latte I've ever had. So good every time. The avo toast is also delicious. Love the vibe of this coffee shop, wish there was more seating but you just have to get lucky with a spot because it's so popular.

Yelp
Amazing place! Incredible breakfast burritos and scrabbled eggs. The strawberry sparkplug coffee is delicious, too. Super friendly, suggest ordering on "Toast" ahead of time to avoid the lines.

Yelp
Just Meh. While the interior looks nice and the options are unique, the quality of the coffee is just okay. Service was impartial and my macha latte came in an 8 oz cup, tiny for the $7.50 I paid. But I guess this is Newport Beach/Costa Mesa so these are the prices you pay. You aren't missing anything by giving this spot a miss

Yelp
The ambiance of Kit Coffee shop is charming. The regular coffee is delicious, but the seasonal hot almond praline latte I ordered was a bit over-extracted, giving it a slightly burnt taste. Despite this, it was enjoyable. The food options were decent, albeit slightly pricey, and the wait was a tad longer compared to other coffee shops. I'd consider returning, but I'd stick to ordering coffee.
