Buddhist temple that is very well maintained by an old lady who was very nice to talk to the garden is so beautiful and calming you pay 500 yen for entrance and go around the temple if you are in Oga highly recommended

男鹿駅より徒歩10分程度、門をくぐり少し急斜な坂を上ったところに緑豊かで静謐な空間が開けます。 拝観料は500円ではありますが寺内は美術館のように仏像や篆刻木を初め貴重な品々が鎮座しています。 見学には30分からゆっくりまわって1時間程度を要します。 書き置きではありますが御朱印も数種類ありました。

男鹿市船川港船川鳥屋場にある曹洞宗の寺院、海蔵山 大龍寺です。御本尊は釈迦如来。12000坪の敷地内に、広大な浄土式庭園を有し、鐘楼堂を兼ねた多宝塔は日本唯一です。天正5年（1577）に密教寺院であった当寺を、台厳俊鏡という禅僧を請して禅宗（曹洞宗）寺院として再興開山したと伝えられます。

釈迦如来を祀っているお寺で庭園がきれい。境内には龍王水が湧いている。入場料が掛かりますが建物内も見どころがありおススメです。力強い御朱印を頂きました。

うちから徒歩数分、自分にとっては子供の頃からの遊び場でもありイベントやライブなどでもよく遊びにいくところ。近年はひのめ市の第二会場としても認知は広まっている他、観光でいらっしゃる方やお寺マニアの方の必須ポイントでもある。 ２０１４年と２０１７年に行われた 住職の賢翁さんと男鹿教会の牧師さん岡田さん（現在は転勤されております）とのコラボライブ 聖お兄さんならぬ聖おじさんBOXY&BORZ（牧師＆坊主）お二人のトーク＆ライブはレジェンドである。 ま、それを語ると長くなるので割愛 大龍寺さんは、まずは行ってみてください♪もともとここにあった澤木家の話をすると僕も長くなる方だけど、ご住職のお父様の語りはすっごい。いーーーーーーーーろいろでてくる！面白い！ 楽水亭のお庭の四季、そして外の桜や紅葉も見事である！ 僕らは、１１月くらいの紅葉の見ごろはここで珈琲のみながらミーティングしたりする。朝７時くらいと夕暮れ時がおすすめ。 2019年５月26日 ツツジが今！
