I had the chopped brisket sandwich with onion rings and coleslaw. Onion rings were phenomenal! Coleslaw had a nice twist with red onion. Chopped brisket was good. Could have used some more seasoning and some sauce. I don't know if they carried BBQ sauce (thats on me) but the bun it was on was perfectly soft! Atmosphere was very cute but not sure if there was suppose to be a hole in the ceiling where water was dripping from. Maybe they're going for the "industrial" look. Staff was super friendly, bathrooms were kept clean. Parking was a nightmare, not sure why they made the area like that with minimal parking. Walked two blocks to get to our destination. Recommend walking later in the night and not mid day in this Texas summer sun.

This was different, but a good different. A few Mediterranean food items. Healthy choices. The oil that comes with the chicken skewers was tasty. The side salad was yummy. The atmosphere was great. I would definitely recommend it. I would love to try their gyro. I plan to visit again.

The Keto steak is amazing! I was in this area for training for 2 days and went here for lunch the first day. After enjoying it so much I ended up going back here for lunch the second day and got the exact same thing. It was soooo good. I wished I lived near this place.

Incredible spot! The moment you walk in you can smell meats on the grill which was a warm welcome. Menu variety is great and honestly price points on their food are pretty killer. I got the Mediterranean bowl with chicken and it was really good, chicken was not dry, veggies were fresh and crisp. The teas are great, had the hibiscus tea and absolutely loved it. My wife got the breakfast sandwich and my son had the pizza. Both of them really loved their food as well!. Can't wait to be back!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Kitchen 101, and I can confidently say it's one of the best culinary experiences I've had in a long time! From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere made me feel right at home. The decor is charming, with a perfect blend of modern and cozy touches. The menu is diverse, offering a fantastic selection of dishes that cater to various tastes. I opted for the grilled chicken tacos, and it was cooked to perfection—juicy, flavorful, and beautifully presented. My friends tried the Macnchees and Burger, and they talked about how delicious it was. What really stood out to me was the exceptional service. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, offering great recommendations without being intrusive. It's clear that the staff genuinely cares about creating a memorable dining experience for their guests. Overall, Kitchen 101 exceeded my expectations, and I can't wait to return. Whether you're looking for a casual meal or a special night out, this place is a fantastic choice. Highly recommend!

Google
There is a great menu here at this location. I ordered the Green Curry bowl with vegetables. Once my food came out, I noticed that it was chicken instead of vegetables. I have a dietary restriction so I kindly let them know, I ordered vegetables. My second plate comes out and I am satisfied that it’s the vegetables that I initially ordered. However, as I am finishing my plate, I bite into a piece of chicken. This is particularly frustrating because I already sent back a plate with chicken on it. If I ordered my meal with vegetables, I should NOT have chicken ANYWHERE in my plate. The food was good, just be sure to TRIPLE check that you’re getting exactly what you ordered (which should be the standard).

Breakfast tacos were amazing. Food arrived super quick. Very reasonably priced.

Google
Two stars for service thanks to Cory P who was rude this morning. I let him know I couldn’t decide on either the biscuits and gravy or the eggs Benedict. He quickly snapped at me before I could finish my question and with an annoyed look on his face he rudely told me that the menu says BISCUIT AND GRAVY not biscuits. Management needs to stick Cory in the back of the house, he has zero people skills and needs not be in the front of the house. This guy pissed me off and he never answered my question. I placed my order for the BISCUIT AND GRAVY. This was the absolute most delicious BISCUIT AND GRAVY I’ve ever tasted! My husband and I stayed in the area over the weekend and we ate at Kitchen 101 three times. Except for Cory this morning every single employee we encountered on Friday morning and Saturday night was friendly and professional. We talked with a lady who is the trainer for the privately owned company for Kitchen 101 and Sambuca in downtown Houston Friday morning and enjoyed our conversation. I didn’t get her name but I hope she reads this review and retrains Cory or moves him to the back of the house. We heard him rudely correct another guest behind us on BISCUIT AND GRAVY. The restaurant was clean and welcoming. The bar drink selection was great. The Whole Hog breakfast sandwich was amazing! The biscuit and gravy was delicious! The cranberry mimosa was wonderful! The Banana Pudding Sugar Tacos for dessert were fantastic! If we are ever back in this area we will for sure visit again.

Yelp
Food was excellent. I ordered the Korean bowl but everything the table ordered was absolutely delish. Unfortunately the service was horrible. The cashier didn't know the answer to any questions about the menu items. There were no beers on tap (or the tap wasn't working maybe). I ordered a Chardonnay and it was delivered warm. When I took it back up to the bar, the bartender said "oh yeah, our cooler is broken." This seems like pertinent information to give a customer before they order a glass of white wine. There were multiple other service failures that occurred. Such a bummer. The food had potential!

Yelp
Dinner with a big group. I had the rotisserie chicken. 1/2 chicken and a side salad. It was over cooked or had been cooked a long time ago, But it was seasoned well but like I said it was very dry. Side salad was good.

Lexi H.

Yelp
My mom and I went to this spot specifically because we LOVE artichokes and they had grilled artichokes, unfortunately they didn't have it on their menu anymore. But our cashier Arturo was amazing and great at recommending dishes and being transparent on what he wouldn't recommend. I got the steak skewers and broccolini - steak was PHENOMENAL and came with a chimichurri-like sauce. The broccolini I felt was bland and could use more seasoning. My mom got the Medi Bowl with lamb, which was good but the lamb was cold which wasn't expected. I also got one of the teas, which is good but also very healthy so I added some sweet tea.

Yelp
The food was subpar, but the service was excellent! Found this place after searching for nearby places to the Irwin Convention Center. It was a little walk, but it was worth it. The food came out fast and was extremely fresh. I ordered the pull pork sandwich with fries. The bun was buttery and delicious. The pork was ok, not seasoned on its own. The BBQ sauce came on the side, a little spicy but good. The fries were absolutely delicious. Had a slice of cheese pizza. It wasn't so great. The cheese was cheesy, but the marinara sauce was flavorless. The pizza had NO SEASONING. Unfortunately, neither did the cauliflower flower bites; although cooked to profection, they were extremely bland. I'm glad I tried it, don't have to return.

Yelp
Food was on point, service was fast, staff was fantastic, and atmosphere was welcoming!! we came for breakfast. sweet tea was well made. eggs benedict was fantastic. breakfast bowl was great. skewered chicken was well cooked with a great oil mix for dipping. all the food was hot and well seasoned. will definitely be back!!

Yelp
Thoroughly enjoyed our stop at Kitchen 101! My best friend was in town for a conference at the Toyota Music Factory and Kitchen 101 had been popping up in my instagram feed so this was the perfect opportunity to try them! We came on a late Wednesday night so the place was pretty quiet and empty. We were helped by the manager and he was super nice and informative. Let us know the ins/outs of the menu and his favorite items. I ordered the rotisserie chicken with mac & cheese and brussels sprouts (he recommended the brussels). My best friend ordered the veggie pizza with a little marinara added (the pizza itself called for only olive oil, no sauce). The chicken was a little dry and the mac & cheese....was different. I don't know what kind of cheese they use, I thought he said cheddar but...I don't think it was cheddar. My best friend tasted it and she wasn't too thrilled about it either, and she LOVES mac & cheese. The brussels sprouts were very good, I can see why they were the manager's favorite. They were cooked to perfection with the right amount of char, crisp and salt. Her pizza was also on point. Tasted like it was cooked in a brick oven, the veggies were flavorful and not over cooked and it had the crispiest crust *chefs kiss* For drinks I ordered a New York Sour which is a whiskey sour with a red wine float and she ordered a jack & coke. Their bar options were a little on the slim side but we made it work. We ended up staying and talking 30 minutes after they closed and we didn't even know it. They were so nice and kind when they kicked us out lol I'd definitely like to swing by and give them another try!

Shantel J.

Yelp
The staff was amazing and the woman who helped us order was so sweet. Everything was clean and the atmosphere was really laid back but elevated at the same time. Food was awesome and the fries were a huge portion. I also got a strawberry milkshake and let me tell you, I wanted to order another one. Cannot wait to come back here and try new things!

Korgie W.

Yelp
Ate here yesterday and was very disappointed after reading all the reviews I ordered a chicken skewer. It was dry and somewhat tasty. I can't eat a lot of spice so I couldn't eat the salsas and used ketchup which made it tolerable. I also ordered the broccolini which was well done, but had a little too much oil on it, and I ordered the brussels sprouts which were overly cooked chard and almost burnt 1/3 of them stayed on my plate because they were not edible.

Yelp
Was near the music factory when it started raining and we ducked in here for some breakfast. Wifi is strong and I was able to eat breakfast, warm up with hot tea (only green tea available). The space is very open and quiet and inviting! Staff is super friendly. There is quite the extensive menu but we were only looking to grab some breakfast. We got the breakfast tacos - egg and cheese only with avocado salsa (yum!) on corn tortilla and biscuit sandwich without cheese. It says on the menu that you get (2) tacos but mine came with three! Woot woot! They come out hot on a metal tray with small dipping bowl with salsa. Loved the ambiance and friendly staff. My cup for hot tea was a bit small and since it was cold outside, it lost heat quickly. Next time I will ask for a to go cup. Other than that, great spot for breakfast if you are in the music factory area. Parking was a little tricky, if no spots are open in the front area, you need to go behind under the building parking lot nearby.

Krystyan L.

Yelp
Great hidden gem within the Toyota music factory. Fun spot whether looking for a quick pick up for lunch or wanting to sit down with some friends for a nice dinner. Everything looked and tasted so fresh and delicious. They have such a large menu, great variety from breakfast, to lunch, dinner options, and desserts and bakery items. They accommodate all dietary restrictions as well from keto, to Palio, to whole 30 ... they have it all. They ever do catering and to go orders/desserts for your next special event. The staff was super friendly and accommodating to explaining the menu or recommendations. Cannot wait to go back and try some more menu items. Don't forget to try the banana pudding tacos.

Mary B.

Yelp
Bring back the pimento cheese fritters and the meatballs with toast points! Bone broth too Cuban sandwich was great. Loved the banana pudding sugar tacos. Service great.

Stephanie S.

Yelp
First time eating at this establishment as we were visiting from out of town. Warm and welcoming greeting. Variety of menu options, including Keto options too. Restaurant seemed to just have opened. Weren't thrilled with gyro as meat tasted more like pork, food not well seasoned. Pecan pie was fair. Drinks not cold. Great suggestion by hotel but would not return.

Yelp
Y'all this place is so good I ate here twice in one day! My friends and I competed in a 5K on a Saturday afternoon in the area. We needed somewhere to hang out until our adult field day event later that afternoon so we sat at a table on the patio. After a while we started to get hungry and decided to check out their menu. At the time they were only serving breakfast so I opted for the biscuit sandwich. The food came out so quickly and the sandwich was delicious despite the fact I wasn't a fan of the cheese on the sandwich but I'll have them take it off next time. I also had them give me the K101 butter and used honey and that set it off even more. After leaving we went to compete in our adult field day, by the time we finished it was dinner time. Everyone was hungry so we made our way back to the restaurant to grab dinner. I was torn between the Medí bowl and K101 burger. After seeking advice from the young lady at the checkout counter I opted for the burger and had no regrets! Again the food came out quickly, was the perfect temperature and tasted sooooooo gooood! The bun they use for the burger is delicious and the patties were cooked perfectly. I asked for bbq sauce on the side and received regular bbq sauce along with their liquid gold bbq sauce both very tasty. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant not only because the food is good but because of the service. It is very rare to go into an establishment and have everyone working there be so kind, attentive, and helpful. During dinner one of the mangers , Onix was on the floor, running food and taking care of customers. We called him over to praise the staff and the food and he took the time to tell us about the restaurant and recommended other menu items for us to try on our next visit. He mentioned that the pizzas are really good and when I asked for a sample he brought our table the vegetarian pizza. He wasn't joking the veggies were grilled to perfection and the crust was airy and had a great crunch. This place is amazing and if you are ever in the area you should stop by!

Robert M.

Yelp
Overall an enjoyable, casual meal. Order at counter and food is brought out to you. Don't go expecting it to be a full service restaurant. Wasn't fully evident what drinks were on happy hour and then ended up getting charged more since "the prices changed from what was on the menu". In their defense, they did comp the wine but then I realized they also removed another "construction discount" I assume to make up for comping the wine. I wasn't sure what the "construction discount" was so I suppose losing it wasn't a big deal. Just wish the happy hour options and pricing were clearer to avoid the confusion. The Cuban sandwich was great. Different from typical Cubans I've had in the past since it had shredded pork and was on (I assume) homemade bread. The artichoke appetizer was good, too.

Ashley M.

Yelp
I am so glad my friends chose Kitchen 101 for our meal Saturday evening. Lately, great service is a rarity, but every staff member I encountered was friendly, polite, and attentive. I was craving a burger and skeptically ordered the K101 burger. It was DELICIOUS! I devoured within minutes. The french fires were perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. All of my friends enjoyed their meals as well. The assistant Onix brought us several different sauces to pair with some of our meals without us having to ask. The cilantro lime, ranch, liquid gold, and the k101 burger sauce were all delicious. Onix was kind enough to offer us a sample of their vegetarian pizza which was excellent. I'm usually not a fan of veggies on pizza , but the veggies were grilled to perfect. I definitely recommend, and I will be back soon!

Kenneth S.

Yelp
Food was excellent and we said wow when we had desert! Great atmosphere and helpful people. Definitely would go back.

Michelle P.

Yelp
It's a cute restaurant in a trendy area but the food was just okay at best. Definitely overpriced for the quality of food received.

Nuzhat B.

Yelp
Ehhhhh! I order chicken with waffles. The waffles were soggy. Chicken was fine at best. I ordered the purple drink (don't remember the name) and it wasn't the best. Tasted like lemonade. I went 3-4 months ago. I keep getting adds on Instagram for this place so thought I'd write a review of my experience. I had high expectation from this place. But it was a disappointment.

Martin H.

Yelp
A refreshing change from the usual fast(ish) food elsewhere. From source to kitchen to table mentality, and sense of freshness is ... well, refreshing. When the chef comes out to meet you when you enter, asks about your experience, it says a lot. 6 of us in our party, and we all enjoyed the various options. Service is pretty quick, food is made to order. For me, the power bowl was very good, the salmon grilled to perfection. They are still fairly new, but the restaurant filled quickly. This should be a great place for lunch. There's a huge beer selection on the wall at the back. Not sure how that will work. Will be back.

Anj L.

Yelp
I recently visited Kitchen 101 for a holiday lunch. I honestly had never even seen this little diner, tucked in behind Gloria's. This is a casual restaurant, where you order at the counter, take a seat, and your food is brought to you. The restaurant is has an open-concept vibe, the kitchen is visible and there is also a wall for nothing but wine, beer, and coffees. With such a large group, an employee was dedicated to taking our orders from the table (thank you!) The service was fantastic and quick. A few of us split the Kale dip app- yum! The dip was quite tasty (think hot spinach dip) with a little kick of hot pepper. The pita was served warm, just definitely not enough for the bowl of dip. It was a chilly day, so I opted for the grilled cheese sandwich, tomato soup and a side of fries. WOW! The sandwich was stuffed full of cheddar and Gruyère cheeses, spilling over the edges. The soup, served piping hot, was delicious. I prefer a more acidic tomato soup, so this was perfect. The fries were also wonderful and crispy! I will definitely be returning for the same order as well as trying some of their other offerings!

Mari P.

Yelp
Thought we would give this place a try and so glad we did. The K1O1 burger was delicious amd the meatball sub looked great. My friend ate it up. Fries are extra, so we got the loaded tater tots. Not sure it was worth $10 tho. Looks and feels similar to a Panera or La Madeleine. They had pastries too, but forgot to check it out. We normay go to Grimaldi's, but they seemed to be setting up for a private party. The whole is growing, and such a great mix of restaurants there.

Lizzie G.

Yelp
Oof... this just was not good. Maybe just a bad day but as you can see from the pic, the grilled cheese had barely any cheese on it? And the soup had so much ¿vinegar? In it that it was inedible. For $16 this was abominable.

Davis N.

Yelp
Great place for food - Very clean + friendly staff + great atmosphere First time trying Kitchen 101 and it was a very good experience. I would definitely come back for more to try the other options from their diverse menu as well. Prices are good for the amount of food you get and taste great overall. Happy to eat here for sure!

Trinh T.

Yelp
Kitchen 101 is a fast casual restaurant, a coffee shop, and a bar all in one. It's located in the heart of the Toyota Music Factory in Irving-Las Colinas. It's also a unique gem that serves up creative comfort dishes and is a must visit if you're in the area. My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - Full Disclosure - if you visit on a weekend when there is a concert, parking is limited. You've been warned. Inside, Kitchen 101 is very thoughtfully designed. An assortment of delicious goodies behind the glass display are on your left as you enter, and a long bar with plenty of beers on tap is on your right. There is plenty of mixed seating all around. 1 Star. Service - Like most fast casual restaurants, you order at the counter, receive a number, and your dish is brought out to you. Water/Tea are self-serve. The staff has been super nice on both my visits, always smiling. 1 Star. Food - While Kitchen 101 is a fast casual restaurant, the menu items are very creative and seem like they would be on the menu of a chic sit down restaurant. All the meats are spit fired. On my first visit, I ordered the pimento cheese fritters, brisket, and mac and cheese. The fritters were great. Not too much batter, just enough crunch, and the tangy pimento cheese was warm and creamy. The brisket was good not great, but Kitchen 101 is not a smokehouse, so I'll give them a pass. The mac & cheese was very creamy and cheesy - everything a growing boy needs! On my second visit, I started with the tater tots. Be warned - these "tots" are more like mini hashbrowns. They are filling so be careful not to over do it. I went with a Medi bowl. Surprisingly delicious, it had all the flavors of a great Mediterranean dish, including olives and pita. But the star was my dessert - the banana pudding tacos. A churro shell filled with banana pudding, bananas, and whipped cream? More, please. Each order comes with 3 tacos. I had to share with my party, so next time I'm putting in two orders. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. If you're going to a show at the Toyota Music Factory, or if you find yourself in the Irving-Las Colinas area, Kitchen 101 is a must visit. I went twice in a month and am already planning my 3rd visit back. 1 Star. My Yelp Rating Scale (Sum of all parts): 1 Star - Atmosphere - Is it a cool dive? Perhaps an upscale place? No matter the type, atmosphere plays a big part and I'll give a star if I like it or thinks it has great charm. 1 Star - Service - You can have a great meal with bad service. But that's also what can make a five star joint drop to four. It's important to the dining experience that service is great and on point. 2 Stars - Food - I'll award up to two stars for the food, since this is the main reason we dine out. Sometimes the extra star is given for value, but it's really all about the food. 1 Star - Will I come back? - If I know for a fact I'll return, I'll give this a star. A place has to make an impression for me to return. Each Category can be given up to 1 star except food (2 stars) because I consider all these categories important to the overall dining experience. I will sum them up to provide my final Yelp score.

Stephanie S.

Yelp
I'm shocked that more people aren't dining here.... The food is delicious good size portions... Coffee is solid and I enjoyed my mimosa. Service was excellent. I think I've found my new neighborhood spot!!!!

Annie M.

Yelp
Service is great!! But I got the Protein Box today and it just was missing a few things. Chicken salad - at first - was sooo good! Then I realized it had dark meat which I don't really care for that much. And then I bit into some gross gristley piece that was nasty. Something not meant to be eaten and was in the chicken salad. Yuck. Mixed berries - they were lukewarm and the blackberries were semi-soft and had smushed. The walnuts...well, those are CANDIED walnuts and have a super spiciness to them. And they smell/taste like the tuna salad that is in same compartment they're in. Just had an "eh" taste to it. Hard boiled egg was GREAT!

Madison S.

Yelp
Came here for brunch. Guy that helped me at the counter acted like my presence was a total inconvenience. I ordered the eggs Benedict. The potatoes were not exactly warm. Eggs were cooked well and the side of potatoes was a very small portion. Probably wouldn't come back. Too bad because the rest of the menu looked good and the restaurant itself is a good vibe.

Alanna J.

Yelp
Great option for breakfast! I like the breakfast bowls and tacos the best but they also have good salads if you come for lunch.

Lisa A.

Yelp
This place is a fantastic place to get some good food and drinks! Me and my cousins stopped by here to check it out and they didn't disappoint!! We had a AWESOME conversation with the manager there, his name is Onix. He was super knowledgeable and friendly and a great host. This place has a mix of different types of food but when we went it was more American. The meat plate I had was tasty and simple and my cousin had the chicken rotisserie pizza which was really good. I would definitely go back to this place to try their food since it is seasonal. Its like a fast food idea when ordering but you get a full restaurant feel sitting inside! Go try this place out! Its worth it.

Brittney T.

Yelp
Man! Where do I begin?! This spot is amazing. I don't know how I've never noticed it at the Toyota Music Factory Plaza. We were in the area for some activities and ended up eating both breakfast and lunch/dinner as well. For breakfast I had the avocado toast and eggs over medium! Both were so good and the eggs were cooked eggsactly like I like it! (You see what I did there ) the woman taking our order was super pleasant and helpful a well! Then for "linner" I had a bowl with lots of veggies. I must admit I was surprised when it came out cold but it was meant to be that way. Ónix, one of the managers, suggested I try a cilantro lime sauce with it which definitely made the dish even better! We also got to try the veggie pizza as well which was SO good! I honestly don't see them having a bad dish on the menu. Everyone loved their food and the service was A1! Easy 5 stars!

Evelyn E.

Yelp
First time. We enjoy our food indeed . Their menu has a large variety of plates to be enjoyed by anyone. Hard working people who are putting their best effort to please all the costumers. Definitely a place to comeback. Clean and very modern atmosphere. Thank you

Talesha C.

Yelp
Kitchen 101 was delicious! My partner and I went during lunch. The loaded tater tots were flavored so well and I loved the extra spice that the pepper added. The K101 burger was well crafted, cheesy, juicy, and the flame-grilled flavor was Burger King but light-years better! The Texas Philly was full of flavor as well and tasty but because the sandwich got cooler as I continued to eat, the cheese got too thick and I no longer wanted it. The fries were delicious and they served them with house ranch. That was a very satisfying lunch aside from the cheese issue though.

Shubha S.

Yelp
If you are a vegetarian, this place is for you... So many delicious options to choose from! We went in a group on Friday evening and there was barely anyone there which was surprising considering how busy the Toyota Music Factory area is. We ordered a bunch of sharables and everything tasted great! My favorites were the avocado toast and kale dip. The grilled veggie pizza is more like a flat bread with good flavor, lots of veggies and very little cheese. Only thing we did not like was the grilled cauliflower, it was barely cooked, looked pale and lacked any flavor. The few drops of sauces it came with did not really help. The service was great, they checked on us multiple times. We were too full to try the desserts. Overall, a great place for casual dining. I wish they had a Happy Hour to go with the great sharables!

Gerardo D.

Yelp
Stopped for coffee and had a grilled parfait. Service was very friendly and attentive. The meats look awesome, it makes me want to stop by for lunch and dinner. Interesting wall full of tap beer and wine too.

Simee G.

Yelp
I've been wanting to try this place out and finally got a chance. This place gives me the "health" vibes. They have really good options. I got the Roast Chicken with two sides. The sides I got were the avocado quinoa and the mac and cheese. The avocado quinoa is simple and good but the mac and cheese lacked flavor. The mac and cheese should be changed in my opinion. It was too watery and had no seasoning. They still have time to try something different. Desserts: I think they have too many options and should focus on 1-2 really good sweets. A really good chocolate chip cookie or really good pie. Keep it simple and focus on the food. Sides: They are missing a good simple side salad and some good mashed potatoes( it would do well with the plates). This place kinda reminds me of Urban Plates/Jacks Urban Eats in CA.

Damien M.

Yelp
Great food and great service. Went on a Sunday morning and had the place to myself. I think this place is a hidden gem. I had a chicken quesadilla and my wife had the Asian bowl. Very good!! Can't wait to visit this place again, when we visit Las Colinas!

Kwayci A.

Yelp
I decided to try their power bowl, and it was amazing! It was jam-packed with protein and so many delicious flavors that my taste buds were dancing with joy!

Jeri A.

Yelp
November 3rd 2022 celebrated a friend returning to the states after 3 months abroad. First ever in this restaurant. The food, clerks, servers, and the ambiance of the place was astonishing ! The food had wonderful homemade flavor without a lot of fat. We had chicken and waffles, the best I've ever had at a restaurant. The cashier was very patient with us going back & forth with our choices, being our first time. The servers helped as well we had forgotten to pick up our eating cutlery and they went to get them. Finally we felt so welcomed, everyone including their guest/customers seemed so polite. Another friend is arriving this weekend and guess where I'm taking them? Kitchen 101 of course!

Yelp
BIG NO for me, for the amount spent you do not get the quality, find another place to have brunch/lunch! Not very clean either...

Yelp
Beautifully decorated and the food is delicious too! Large menu and wonderful coffee, wine and beer selections.

Yelp
Ambiance is nice but food is not worth the money spent. The quality could be so much better. It lacked flavor and pleasurable textures for reference, I got the cheesesteak and the loaded tater tots. Both were not good. Tots had very little toppings for it to be "loaded". The cheesesteak was hot but flavorless

Yelp
We needed a pick me up coffee, so we decided to go to Kitchen 101. It's located in the back across from the Yardhouse. To order a cappuccino, just head right to the back of the restaurant. The employee will ring you up, and make the cappuccino for you. If you just wanted regular coffee, pay there, and they give you a cup. You then go get the coffee at the coffee station located near the cashier. Next time we definitely will try out the food. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Yelp
I came for lunch the restaurant was empty. The prices for some of their items where overpriced in my opinion for the type of ambiance. I ordered the mac and cheese and it was NOT good. I would not recommend nor come back.

Yelp
Totally serves its purpose! Good food served fast, reasonably priced, right next to Toyota Music Pavilion. I wanted to grab a quick bite before a concert. Tried a couple other spots nearby and they were on a 1+ hour wait. Kitchen 101 perfectly fit the bill! Nice fast casual atmosphere, good service, no wait. In and out in maybe 30 min (and that's at peak time right before an event). The food was really tasty! Again, the point here is speed and convenience. It's not Michelin star fare, but it was yummy and I wasn't hungry later. I also appreciate that the portions aren't enormous bc heading to an event you're not taking it with you.

Yelp
There were 4 of us. Two meals came out pretty quickly, then there was at least a ten minute wait after the first two came out before the third meal came. It was just a Keto salad which was mostly spinach leaves. How long does that take to make? Then it was another 20 minutes before the fourth plate arrived, a pizza. How awkward. Does one begin eating when not everyone has their food. We mostly waited and had to eat cold food. Overall, the portions are small and the room is noisy with the open kitchen concept and all the hard surfaces for sound bounce. It is not the place for a relaxing meal. There are a lot of options on the menu which is a plus.

Yelp
They were completely understaffed. With a huge concert happening right next door on a National holiday. They prioritized to go orders and the kitchen staff cooked whatever they wanted in whatever order. The line manager was working his butt off trying to stay in control but he was working with his hands tied behind his back. He asked for dishes 5-6 times and the line cooks never complied. They were busing tables rather than getting food out when no one was waiting on table. I get it, it's hard to find help but the owners and the GM of this place should plan better.

Yelp
Great food and ambiance! Highly recommend the breakfast. We went and there wasn't many people there which was a plus.

Yelp
This is a counter service restaurant, which we weren't quite expecting walking in. We were there on a Thursday night at 7pm and it was very quite. The menu is fairly varied - they have items Ranging from healthy shareables, lots of sandwich options, grill options, and then they have this weird pizza menu with three options that all sound unappealing - rotisserie chicken, grilled veggie, and meatball pizza. Not even a regular pizza option, so that's a strangle couple of options to have. The sides range from various veggie options to starchy carb options. The desserts are lackluster. We got the banana pudding tacos and they just kind of fell short. The meals were pretty good. I do really like the decor, I think this would be a good place to meet a friend here for a quick lunch. It has more of a market feel than a restaurant feel.
