"Charming Inns’ restaurant Kitchen 208 closed over the weekend. The owners cited lack of labor force as the reason." - Erin Perkins

This place is so good. Awesome outside seating right on King Street. They have gluten free bread to substitute on any of their sandwiches so I highly recommend it for those who are gluten free.

Okay so honestly, I was really excited to eat here. The quinoa salad looked good online and it was pretty busy, so I figured I'd give it a shot. I got what was described as a vinaigrette which was much more of an aoli and most likely not vegan. The "salad" was a few very thick slices of cucumber and tomato with strange, dried out bread. The quinoa was full of chunks of what I can only describe as relish. No flavor at all, I just doused it with hot sauce and powered through this one. PLEASE try to have at least one vegan options on your menu, it's always frustrating when I try to go out in chas. and get stuck with something like this at a place downtown. It was a pretty attractive meal, but really fell short as far as I'm concerned. Not worth the ten or so dollars on this one. Great location and pleasant atmosphere though!

Cobblestone sandwich was really good! Arugula and gruyere cheese were a great combo on the sandwich. Waffle was fresh and hot! Good flavor to the coffee.

The food is good, but a bit disappointed about the potato serving cold. The rest is nice.

Fun! Bright! Delicious! Hospitable! A simply delightful place to grab lunch. You order at the counter and handle your own beverage service. They will bring your food out to you, though. Our meals came out relatively quickly, considering we were there with the lunch crowd. Ample portions that weren't overwhelmed by too many fries. I highly recommend the tomato and cucumber side! The marinade is perfect. Make sure you leave room for a cookie. Don't get it until you are done, and get them to heat it up for you! Lastly, if you are lucky go there when it is warm so that you can eat outside.

Everything was great. Short wait for food on Saturday morning. Food was delicious. Wife had waffle and I had the Charleston plate. If I had to find a complaint, the biscuit was just a TAD bit dry, but not much at all. Will definitely return on my next trip to Charleston.

Loved the food! The owner welcomed us to Charleston. She and her staff was super nice. The bloody Mary's were small but the cost was $4 so if you want a big one, you'll need to order 2. The battery (eggs Benedict) was fabulous!

I would eat here again, but it's pricey. They have gluten free waffles which were really good! I also had a mimosa, and some fruit. We paid a lot, but I think it is a nice little spot and they have good outdoor seating as well.
