What a pleasant surprise Kitchen 57 was. I didn’t have any expectations coming in, but left super impressed. I’m not the biggest fan of American fare, but that changed after today! Each dish was different than the last and everything was phenomenal. The food was amazing, Sebastian, our server was just as amazing and the speed of service was phenomenal. I left STUFFED and I was happy about it. The cocktails and mocktails were amazing too. Check this place out asap!

Visited for happy hour on Wednesday for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Sebastian greeted us warmly and ran through our options for happy hour specials and drinks. We decided on the margherita pizza, truffle fries, and passion mojito which were all so delicious. The pizza was crispy and salty topped with blistered cherry tomatoes *chef's kiss*. Sebastian checked on us a few times during our meal and other staff refilled our water glasses which I appreciate. Overall great prices and the vibe is perfect for date night or even meeting up with friends. I plan to visit again and try other meals. Also love that happy hour lasts until 7pm! I came from downtown Miami after work and was relieved to find a spot that doesn't end happy hour by 6.

We went here for happy hour to celebrate a birthday. We sat in the bar area. On Thursday’s they offer free campaign for woman and they have a great and reasonably priced selection of happy hour food. Every thing tasted great and Ana our waitress was friendly and always available. Some of the seats in the bar area were not comfortable to sit for long periods of time. The noise level was very loud and if someone was not sitting next to you, you could not hear conversations. There was plenty of paid street parking that required an app but was easy to use and to add time if needed. Street parking can get expensive if you are parked for any length of time. This place is very popular and it appears to be a local spot. It can get crowded and very loud.

From the moment you walk in, you are met with smiles and friendliness. We had a reservation but we were early and still quickly sat at a table. Our server was prompt with water as we were looking at the drink menu for some cocktails. My wife and I both ordered an espresso martini, one with Kailua, and one without. Both tasted very good and had the perfect mix of alcohol and other ingredients. For dinner, my wife ordered the Philly cheesteak sandwich with truffle fries. That sandwich was one of the best "cheesteaks" I've had in a long time and I'm from the Philadelphia area. I ordered the pasta pomodoro with shrimp. I am a huge fan of quality red sauce and this meal did not disappoint. My daughter who is a chicken Cesar salad connoisseur, said we could add this one to her very small list of approved salads. Food was only a piece of the exceptional night we had at Kitchen 57. We had a gift card won at a fundraiser raffle, but there was an issue with it. Mike, the owner, personally came to explain the issue, but still honored it. We were already planning to return regardless if the gift certificate was accepted, now we know for a fact this restaurant will be a repeat visit for us. Three diverse menu, friendly staff, and great leadership is why you should go too. You will not be disappointed.

Stopped in for dinner while in town. I ordered the Mozzarella & Tomato’s with Parma ham starter, with a cold Draft Pilsner, snd the Chicken Parmigiana for my main. My daughter ordered the Burrito Bowl with Steak and a Shirley Temple. We shared the Brownies & Vanilla Ice Cream for dessert. The place was pumping, and had a great vibe: lots of folks in the front bar area, and a good portion of the dining area was filled with people enjoying their diners, desserts, and drinks. We both enjoyed what we ordered, and would probably come back. Our Service was perfection!

Google
Loved this place, and enjoyed everything about it including the vibe, service courtesy of Ana our server, and the food which was a phenomenal value for the money considering the quality, serving size, presentation, and taste! Had the Blackened Chicken Breasts (with large side $20! and the burger). Ana even explained all the different events/promos they have goin on, and told me about her long time working here. Really appreciated the down home, family typa hospitality! The owner and executive chef Michael Altman even came to our table, and you can feel the love, pride, and more he puts into his biz. Meraki is a Greek word I learned recently which he and Ana have. I'm a local wedding and event DJ in Miami and South Florida that came to support my DJ friend @bennredd (who was performing a great DJ set with a mix of throwbacks and more contemporary sounds) but wasn't expecting such a great experience as this was! There's an added benefit of talented bands performing live entertainment at nearby venues within a short, safe walking distance, so plan your evening accordingly. Have dinner here then pub crawl lol. They even have a rewards program, Kitchen Perks, which encourages repeat customers in addition to all the above. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!!

Google
Let me tell you about Cricket he is the best bartender in town, he is entertaining, vibrant full of passion about his job.. jokes are non stop! I recommend the food and drinks with a passion mind you I’m super picky. Adrian the manager came out and greeted us which was a nice personal touch to our visit. Love this place try it out !

Google
Regardless of how the food is, the waiter makes or breaks the difference and experience. Our waiter Greg was AMAZING! Personable, timely, knowledgeable and right on point. Food offerings are extensive and good luck narrowing it down.

Yelp
I've visited a few times, multiple options and amazing service and delicious food. The two different occasions that stand out: Came on a Thursday night for a bite and had an amazing experience. Sat at the bar and the bartender was very nice and attentive. I had the cheeseboard and a glass of wine, bartender recommended both and it was amazing! Visited on a Tuesday for lunch and my server Greg was amazingly attentive and made great suggestions. I had the Brussels sprouts which are a must try, the half rack of ribs and a key lime custard for dessert. Everything was amazing and I definitely recommend checking this place out any day of the week!

Yelp
Cozy, intimate, and buzzing with the right energy. Started with a sip of a perfectly shaken Pisco Sour crafted by none other than J, the absolute cocktail maestro. Smooth, balanced, in a Peruvian consistent drink form! Spotted a burger that looked burgeliscious but I had lunch before, so it is in on my radar for my next ktichen 57 hang out..... The vibes? On point, thanks to Ben spinning those 80-99 beats, keeping the crowd lifted all afternoon. And ladies, here's the insider scoop: Thursdays from 4-7 PM = bottomless champagne ... yes, you read that right. It's the perfect excuse to rally the crew and toast to a good night. Kitchen 57 mixes great drinks, music, and NYC-style cozy charm. Definitely worth bookmarking.

Yelp
Food was great as was the service. Additionally they have a room to host private parties which I'll be using for the Holidays

Claudia M.

Yelp
This is our second time, both experiences were very good. The food is delicious and great service. Last night Sebastian took care of us. Often when you sit outside, you feel like your server forgets about you, thankfully that was not the case. He was super attentive. Drinks are well prepared, the food is great. Had the ribs, Caesar salad, and the Smashburger- all really great- and for dessert, the brownie and key lime parfait. The only area for improvement I think would be in the side dishes- wish the fries were crispier and the mac & cheese had more flavor. Otherwise, everything is really fantastic.

Yelp
Had the pleasure of meeting the chef owner Michael Altman and his lovely wife Cari at the Coral Gables Tour Of Kitchens and they were wonderful, we had to go visit them and of course we went for brunch and it was excellent! Drinks: Fizz Peanut Butter - super creative! Chef Altman said "it tastes like a peanut better jelly sandwich"! It does!! And wifey had bottomless mimosas (her usual) Feast: 57 Migas: sunny side eggs, crisp white corn chips made in-house, black beans, chorizo, roasted tomato picante sauce, sour cream, scallion, Mexican blended cheese * Short Rib Truffle Benedict: Braised beef short rib, bacon, grilled tomato, two poached eggs, English muffin, truffle hollandaise - the truffle with the sauce and everything, ufff! Popovers: fresh baked explosive bread with maple butter (made in house) and their berry jam 'Two Chocolate Bread Pudding: served with vanilla bourbon crème anglaise This might be a new family ritual monthly!!! And dinner is next!!!!

Yelp
Went to Kitchen 57 for Miami Spice and it was definitely a vibe. The burrata salad was... fine (cute starter, but not wow). The pasta with mushrooms? Total star of the show- flavorful, hearty, and honestly what I'd come back for. Dessert was the bread pudding, which was a little too moist for me (sorry, not my thing). Service held up nicely even though we were a big group, and the space is cozy, loud, and buzzing in the best way. Overall, a solid 4 stars and worth the visit.

Yelp
This is my second time here! First time I came in I sat at the bar and was taken care of by Jay and by Abraham (the bar manager). They were so friendly and outgoing , I came alone and they kept me company and held a great conversation while still attending to other guests. I tried a few cocktails and was highly impressed. My first cocktail was the Hibiscus margarita, not sweet and not too bitter , just right ! Second was the Beer highball ( I was super intrigued by this cocktail and had to try it because it was paired with beer reduction pistachos) lastly I finished with the Old 57 , which contains chocolate bitters, the balance was great, it was very exquisite. As for my second time , Yoli was my server , very attentive , friendly and recommended a lot of great dishes. I sat in a table outside in the far corner where I can see other guest interactions and she was so sweet to all her tables and made them laugh a few times. Great service! Overall , I'm getting great vibes overall- food runners and bussers were on point. As for the food , this was my first time trying anything here. I ordered the shrimp pot stickers and they were SO delicious, not fishy , just right. Secondly, I ordered the wings . LISTEN, I am the queen of craving wings at least 2 times a week. By far one of the best wings I have had lately. Crispy , fresh, just enough sauce. I mean I wanted to stop eating and I could not. Overall this place is getting a 5 stars from me. I will be a frequent visitor , can't wait to see what else they have up their sleeves! Till next time. Cheers

Yelp
Good food, great vibes, and great people behind the bar. Jay was our bartender and he just made our night! Very welcoming, attentive, and great at what he does. The restaurant delivers amazing food, great energy, and tip notch service.

Yelp
Be sure to check out this gem in South Miami before there's a line around the block. Mouthwatering food at reasonable prices with amazing service is a rare find in Miami. The buffet salad is good enough to be a meal on its own. I also tried the veggie pizza with a cauliflower crust. It was thin and crispy and perfect. The key lime custard was a delightful end to the meal. It was tart and creamy and absolutely delicious. The other delight was our server, Carlos, who went out of his way to take special care of us. I'm definitely coming back!
google avatar

Gina R.

Yelp
Amazing! We came here with a group of ladies and it was fabulous! We started the evening with a French 75 and all of the courses were paired with different wines. The chef created a special dinner for our group and it was really great! If you are looking for an exceptional meal, this is the perfect place!

Yelp
Came to kitchen 57 and sat at the bar with Jay for lunch , he recommended the tuna melt special which was amazing and even introduced me to chef Trevor . The service was amazing and attention to detail. Great environment and vibes. Will definitely be coming more often and recommending to all my friends and family .

Cesar S.

Yelp
Kitchen 57's got great food, simple as that. Jay and Cricket run the bar like champs, good people, good vibe, no BS. Always a solid time.

Yelp
We ate here for brunch and sat outside, as the weather was still nice out. Our server was friendly and the food was tasty. I had the sourdough egg sandwich which was yummy. Hubby got the burr-avocado toast which he liked as well. My son had the challah french toast and devoured the entire thing. Will come back for brunch again!
google avatar

Julie S.

Yelp
While we ended up sitting outside because the noise inside was deafening, the server Carlos never forgot about us! Food was solid with a mammoth chicken parm that had to be taken home and good chicken wings. Top of the line cocktails too!
google avatar

Nicole P.

Yelp
Everything was very good and the service was the way service should be very friendly and easy-going. If this is a local spot to you, you have a great weeknight date night spot, but I have to say I was so surprised that the burger was absolutely delicious. Maybe the best thing I had. I got it with mushrooms and blue cheese and literally my mouth is drooling as I write this I would go back for this burger.

Yelp
The short version: Nice new place in a corner that has seen more than 3 restaurants in the last 5 years. Delicious food and very accommodating staff, they take reservations and make you feel welcome. Hope it survives the corner. The Experience Well, we had a birthday event so we had reservations for 12 and a couple of us went early to put on some table decorations and warn the servers we may very possibly have a "complainer" among the guests. (you know who we're talking about: always finds something wrong with everything.)... and, by the way, we're each getting our own check to avoid issues... We were greeted by the host, and who would be our server, Noelle, who thanked us for the heads up and was really, really helpful both with the setup and through the brunch itself (spoiler alert, our "complainer" behaved so well that the heads up was unnecessary, but I just needed to let you know you are not alone: every group has -at least- one). Anyway, back to the Brunch. Everyone said their dishes were good, but I can only speak for mine, which is the only one I tasted: Short rib eggs Benedict with truffle hollandaise. It was delicious. I would have liked a bit more meat on the short rib part, but it was good. The music on the restaurant was low enough to let you talk, and sweet enough to create ambiance, Noelle and the rest of the staff were awesome throughout the whole affair, and our birthday girl had fun and a good meal so we all left happy. Overall, a very good experience. Will come back!

Yelp
Really good as always. Lovely and LIVELY happy hour on a Thursday evening. Excellent service! Thank u.

Yelp
The food is exquisitely prepared and plated very creatively. Service is really good. My party reserved the private dining room for a recognition lunch. We were treated special. Of the twenty guests everyone had a great meal.

Enrique G.

Yelp
To far from aventura to travel for a meeting and to get to eat a meal very late and then cold and average taste

Yelp
We have been here a few times and this is a perfect neighborhood restaurant. Our first time here we were exited to see Austin working here and he took excellent care of us. His recommendations were on point, and I have to say it's very refreshing to see that they offer an excellent salmon dish. Most restaurants salmon option is usually an afterthought, a plain grilled salmon with broccoli. Not here, the Miso Salmon is highlighted with a delicious green papaya salad. You can also request the temperature you would like your salmon cooked at unlike most places that serve it well done and dry. The Rigatoni Pomodoro and their Thai Chicken wings are also amazing. As I mentioned at the start, we have been here a few times and we have found the staff to be friendly, on point and very familiar with the menu. Sunny is hilarious and gave us new recommendations that were delicious. Marlin rocked it with the Chicken Melt and shoutout to Jacob for his attention to detail and hospitable service. The only miss we have had so far was with the Garbage Salad. It was swimming in the dressing so you could not taste anything but the ranch dressing. All that said, we can't wait to come back.

James K.

Yelp
We come here often. Everything we order has been on point. Mussels chicken parm burgers and salmon. We sit at the bar and Jay the bartender is professional and knowledgeable friendly and makes the best drinks.
google avatar

Julia A.

Yelp
So far we have been pretty happy with the food in this place except that they are extremely stingy with their full priced drinks. They call this a full drink even when it's obvious they only poured less than 2oz when martinis are always 3oz.

Dianne G.

Yelp
Great neighborhood place to eat. Lots of options. Staff friendly. Food is delicious. We go there once a week. Best burgers in town. Great cioppino and pastas. Good wine. Prices are very fair.

Jennifer L.

Yelp
Very Nice ambiance-- they had live music on a Sunday afternoon and felt like I was on vacation somewhere in the keys. Food was great-- and they easily accommodated my request for a lettuce bun. Thank you-- I would recommended this restaurant to anyone looking to eat in the south Miami or Pinecrest are.

Yelp
Soooo yummy! Came here for brunch and had the S'mores Pancakes and also had the Philly Grilled Cheese and Cesar Salad, which was phenomenal! The Grilled cheese had a little spice to it that made it delicious. The pancakes were perfect and an awesome treat for my kid! 10/10 experience! The workers were all very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back! The restaurant was beautiful inside and made for a perfect brunch spot with delicious food worthy of pictures!
google avatar

Yelp
I went on Saturday for their Grillin' & Chillin' BBQ which was phenomenal! We also ordered some extra apps like the wedge salad, crispy brussel sprouts, and the zucchini fries. JUST WOW! They have amazing cocktails and mocktails as well. There is something for everyone. The service was fantastic, quick, and helpful. I can't wait to be back, the bar area looked super fun too!
google avatar

Sarah B.

Yelp
Delish, just like the old town spot. Same owners I believe too! Had it for somi. Will be back
google avatar

Amanda M.

Yelp
For starters, a homeless man named David kept intervening in my private conversation, then after feeling poorly for the homeless individual and offering him food, he was approached by the staff and brought a RedBull. To my surprise, David had been lying from the start, as well as the managers and servers. After a long day of work, NOT a good experience.

Kelly A.

Yelp
So Jay was absolutely wonderful and his service is 5 star. Def be back. Food delicious and warm and welcoming atmosphere. Would recommend.

Eddyse K.

Yelp
Kitchen 57 has great food, ambiance and service. Chef Michael was the executive chef at Town Kitchen and Bar and is now the chef/owner of Kitchen 57. He kept a few favorites from Town and has created some great dishes for this new menu. It's a great place for lunch, dinner and weekend brunch. The outdoor seating is terrific - comfortable and plenty of it !!

Mary W.

Yelp
We visited Kitchen 57 on a Tuesday evening. The service at this restaurant was great, as was the food. In fact, there was a special that day where you could get their 57 Burger, with a salad or fries, for $10! This burger is normally $19. YUM! It was delicious. The only downside for us was the noise level was a little high for having a conversation, so if you're looking for a quiet, romantic restaurant, this might not be the place. It's more of a fun and lively atmosphere with great servers and delicious food. Will go back!

Juan G.

Yelp
One of our family's go to places, the burgers are terrific, cioppino is delicious and the mussels are on point. Always consistently good.
google avatar

Mia D.

Yelp
Went for the lunch special yesterday, which is amazing! For $17, you get a large meal and an appetizer. I had the yucca fries and the chicken sandwich and both were delicious. I can't wait to go back!

Nan E.

Yelp
Another great meal last night at Kitchen 57 where we were expertly served by Carlos. The Saturday night BBQ special was fun, yummy, and a bargain.
google avatar

Vicki W.

Yelp
Poor service. We waited 15 minutes after being seated and many wait staff walked past us, never making eye contact. I had to go and let the host know that no one had come by. Finally someone came, he was not very attentive. Food mediocre after waiting another 30 minutes to get the food. We were also informed that they were closing early. We arrived at 1:25. They were closing at 3:30. Not sure why they felt the need to tell us when we came for lunch. Overall disappointing
google avatar

Brooks F.

Yelp
Terrific food and service! Loved the pizza and cocktails. Lots of options to share. Will definitely return.

Lisette L.

Yelp
Cricket and Adrian were amazing. The food and drinks were delicious. Cricket made us laugh, made excellent drinks and was awesome . I highly recommend this place.

Marcia S.

Yelp
The food, service and ambiance were excellent. We had small plates during happy hour of shrimp potstickers and sliders. They were delicious. The salads were large and they gave you plenty of protein. The wine was very good. We were celebrating a birthday and they brought out a delicious slice of bread pudding for us to share. The waiter- Noah was excellent. Very attentive and patient. The manager stopped by and appreciated our compliments.
google avatar

Yolanda P.

Yelp
So glad this place opened up and offers a great neighborhood ambiance! We've been twice in the last 3 weeks for Happy Hour as a group of 15. Both times they have accommodated us in the lounge and it's been so nice. The waitstaff is attentive and very nice. Bar bites and drinks are amazing!!! We'll be back for a nice dinner in the near future.
google avatar

Martha R.

Yelp
Just went there for a birthday party. The staff were so attentive, the food was delicious, and just so nice overall. Loved the miso salmon, perfectly balanced. Their appetizers were tasty. 10/10

Kim A.

Yelp
Love this new neighborhood restaurant. The service was fantastic. I ordered the BBQ Ribs and they were some of the best ribs I have ever had. My husband had the mahi Reuben and my daughter had the cheese pizza and they loved theirs as well. I appreciated that they had a diverse menu so everyone in the family is happy.

Nika S.

Yelp
First visit & immediately appreciated the welcoming experience from owner / executive chef Michael! The summer lunch special simply cannot be beat! The food portions were great and the bartender, Tony, was a perfect balance of attentive & friendly but giving us our space. We ordered yuca fries, Brussel sprouts, Italian pizza and a plain cheese pizza. Yum!! Even the crust of the pizza was delish! A must try for locals and tourists alike.

Allen S.

Yelp
Excellent service from Brittany. Great food very good value. Short Rib Grilled Cheese was amazing! Will go again soon.

MarthA G.

Yelp
I was disappointed with this food and service at this place. My friend were also complaining about the food and service. If you go, I would just do drinks.

Yelp
Finally a quality family style, neighborhood restaurant back in South Miami! Everything was great, especially the short rib tacos, pizza and chicken parm. Love the vibe and atmosphere. Definitely my new watering hole and local spot to eat.

Romeo M.

Yelp
Even better the second visit. Sat in the breezeway for lunch on a beautiful Saturday afternoon . South Miami is a beautiful part of Miami to dine for lunch. Will be back soon.

Andrea J.

Yelp
The food was very clean and fresh. Service and ambiance great. I'm from New York came here on a whim and I was very satisfide.

Sophia D.

Yelp
Born and raised in Miami, have not had true hospitality here like this in a WHILE. Carlos was our server and he was excellent. Made great recommendations. Everything we had food-wise was excellent as well. Ambience caters to just about anything. Upscale casual? (For Miami lol take that as you will). Highly recommend.
