This place came highly recommended by some friends so checked it out. Inside is small, intimate, and cozy. Had a cool vibe with the darkened light fixtures, exposed bricks, and deco art. Food was on point. Fried green tomatoes was delicious. Halibut was amazing. Short ribs practically fell off the bone. Caramel pot de creme was definitely a sugar rush. Strawberry shortcake was my only disappointment as it tasted like cookies as oppose to the soft angel cake I was expecting. Service was great. Will return!

Absolutely love this restaurant! All the staff are friendly and service is always excellent. I enjoy dining at the bar where I can chat with everyone and always meet new people. You’ll love the food here, everything is amazing and the menu changes often with delicious new items to tempt your palate!

The service is great and the space is well decorated. The food is good, with the exception of the pork chop - I felt that it was too dry/tough. However, the bed of peas that it was on was phenomenal, and the chicken I got in it’s place was very tender and paired very well with the caramelized figs. I thought the pimento cheese was ordinary, especially taking into account the fact that everyone and their dog in the south is making pimento cheese nowadays. I’ve heard from friends that their burger night is pretty good.

Kitchen Six is a well-kept secret in Oakgrove. Everything we ate-small plates, main courses, and desserts-were phenomenal. The bartender also did an excellent job. She knew her drinks well and gave us exactly what we wanted. One downside: the parking lot is super small and several restaurants in the strip are all battling for the same spaces. Like many other patrons we resorted to parking across the street in another lot. We had a reservation but due to how busy the restaurant was, were not seated until about 25-30 minutes after our reservation time. During our wait the staff was very accommodating, offering us a place at the bar and keeping us updated on our wait.

We hosted my daughters Baptism luncheon for 40ppl at Kitchen Six and they exceeded our expectations. Sherri was very accommodating and easy to work with to organize the function. The food was delicious and all of our guests were very complimentary of the atmosphere and decor. Consider this restaurant for your next function! It will not disappoint.

Went for the new years tasting menu. I give an "A" for effort. Tastes were a bit flat, and the pics and discription didn't fit the flavors. Service was great and atmosphere was excellent. I would try a single menu item if I went back

This little resturant does an amazing job of focusing on the right stuff. The menu reflects their name by providing only 6 options for their starters, the first course and entrees. Also their specialty drink menu as well. The food was amazing and you knew the chef was extremely skilled picking local seasonal ingredients. We were also greeted warmly by one of the proprietors and learned a lot about the area during our wonderful night out. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a small batch culinary experience that wants to be inspired by feeling like they are apart of the local Oak Grove neighborhood.
