Kitcho Greenwich

Recently visited Kitcho on Greenwich High Road for the first time. It's not in the city centre, but close to Greenwich town and Greenwich Park. Heard a neighbouring table say it's the best Japanese food they've had in London, even better than the city centre.We tried a few recommended dishes:Tai no Usuzukuri (Sea Bream Sashimi) is worth to have a try. It has fresh sea bream, thinly sliced with soy sauce and green onions. Refreshing and slightly spicy, with a Southeast Asian vibe.I’d recommend Tokyo Sashimi, A platter with fresh tuna, salmon, and more. Thick cuts and very fresh, with great wasabi. My friend also ordered Chilli Beef Ramen:Spicy ramen with tender beef and veggies. The broth is flavourful, though not overly spicy. I ordered Nabeyaki Udon, which is Udon with shrimp tempura, veggies, and an egg. Served in a hot pot, very comforting and rich.Their sushi rolls were also excellent. I like their California Roll: Crab stick, avocado, and cucumber, topped with fish roe. Very refreshing. Also tried two mocktails: Scarlet Dream: Strawberry-based, bright and sweet. Perfect for summer. Really like the cocktail Passion Fruit Lemonade: Great blend of passion fruit and lemon, very appetising. They also have a meeting room available for gatherings. Overall, highly recommend!

Such a gem with the most authentic flavours from Japan! Everything we tried was just delicious and fresh, you could taste the freshness of the fish in the Tokyo sashimi set served with Tosan soy sauce. The seabass carpaccio was served with truffle ponzu sauce, and the mango prawn tempura dragon roll was just incredible! Our final starter was salmon tartare served with a black crackers, which just melts in your mouth. As the main course we had torikatsu curry 🍛 which had authentic Japanese breadcrumb, and oyako donburi. This was just delicious and we loved the breadcrumbs from Japan! Their cocktails are so worth trying too, we had the yozu cocktail with Japanese Jin, and brown rice tea 😍

Hidden gem in Greenwich. The prawn tempura was one of the best I had. The foie gras rice was absolutely delicious. Even the simple dishes like Japanese style salad was authentic and tasty. If anything, the miso soup was a bit too salty. Would definitely visit again and would love to try the sushi next time. Staff were lovely as well.

The food is one of the best Japanese place I’ve tried, it’s so amazing (please try mango dragon it’s really amazing) and all the staffs are so generous and lovely, 100% recommended! And they have karaoke room as well!

What a pleasant surprise to find an amazing quaint Japanese restaurant in Greenwich! On a wet and rainy evening, the Shoyu ramen was the perfect suggestion, coupled nicely with the mango dragon roll. The ramen was a perfect flavour - not too salty with good umami flavours. I was sceptical about pairing mango and sushi but it was delightful alternative to avocado. They might be starting a trend with mango sushi! Special thanks to Christine (restauranteur) who was excellent company and made the good suggestions for me. Can't wait to explore more of the menu u next time. Top tip: if you're staying next door at the Premier Inn, stop by for really good Japanese cuisine.

Hidden Gem Japanese restaurant in London 🇯🇵💞 Serving fresh quality sashimi and nigiri 🍣 we were definitely spoiled with the options available on their menu 🥰 The prices for their nigiri were also really reasonable in comparison to other restaurants in London 😎 I highly recommend getting their ‘cherry blossom’ special maki roll 🌸

Every foods I ordered were amazing and very photogenic. I especially loved the Beef tataki and crispy shrimp sushi roll. Staffs were nice, good atmosphere.

Visited this Japanese restaurant for the first time. Its decor is not the traditional Japanese type. Every dish was very nicely presented. I particularly liked their starters.
