i have naturally curly hair and was nervous to get my hair cut anywhere in fayetteville. they did an AMAZING job!! listened to me and were so kind and welcoming! i wouldn’t go anywhere else!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! :)

I got a haircut this week and I love it! Had to shout out Justin - he gives a great haircut and I’m always shocked at quickly he has me on my way and feeling fresh.

Justin and Jasmine are both amazing! My wife and I have been coming here for years and we love this place. They welcome everyone, treat you right and charge you fairly. I recommend this salon to anyone that’s asks!

Justin provided haircuts for students with special needs and did a fantastic job! He was so kind and patient as well as professional, and the haircuts looked great. Would highly recommend using him for any of your hair needs!

Justin did a great job volunteering his time to come and cut kids hair at the school I work at. The children I work with have special needs, and he was extremely understanding and patient with each of the kids!! Highly recommend him!

Love this place so much! It’s so cute and cozy and everyone is very friendly. Kerry always does so amazing with my hair! My sister started out with her years ago and would always get so many compliments on her hair, so I had to try her out when I moved here. Now myself, my mom, and my sister’s fiancé’s mom all go to Kerry..if that tells you anything! :)

Justin is AMAZING! He cut the hair of one of my clients with Autism. He was patient, kind and understanding. He worked hard to make sure my client was comfortable and had everything needed. He went above and beyond! Thankful for him!

Love this place! There are not a lot of places in Fayetteville that do black hair, but this one does. Jasmine does a fantastic job and the owner Justin has created such an awesome environment. I really love that they have a stylist for each member of my family. This place is a gem.

I have been going to Justin for the longest time. He is absolutely amazing and beyond talented. I always look forward to getting my hair done, and I can't recommend him enough!!!

I had been going to Justin for almost two years. Lately I've been going in every six weeks to help keep my shape and avoid split ends. I've been pleased with his work for the most part. He has always been nice (although he seemed to always rush me,) his salon is nicely decorated in bougie farmhouse, and I've been told they offer wine to clients. I had an appointment this past week for a trim. It didn't go well. When he whirled me around in the chair to face to mirror, I was mortified. I honestly didn't know how to react. Hand to sky, I looked like Garth from Wayne's World. That's not hyperbole. I asked Justin to fix it, but that didn't do any good at all. I was uncomfortable with telling someone I consider a friend that their work was absolutely terrible. I went home hoping that my eyes were deceiving me. Eventually I examined my hair more closely. It was worse than before. Chunks cut here and there. My once straight bangs were now choppy and extremely uneven. No unity, no flow. Some areas he didn't even touch with the shears. Dead ends all over the place. Just a reminder that I gave him a second chance to "fix" it and he failed, horribly. At first I felt guilty for not being pleased with Justin's work, but the more I look at what he did, the more displeased I am for trusting him with my hair. I don't know what's going on with Justin these days, it's been a hit or miss lately, but I'm shocked that he found this haircut acceptable. He missed it completely. Needless to say, I will not be returning to Kith & Kin, much less allowing Justin to touch my hair ever again. Pictures because it did happen. Photo of my last trim included for reference. Update 2/2/2021 After posting this review on Facebook, Justin, his husband, and a few of their close friends responded with personal attacks on my character, mental health, and my face. Justin responded with dishonesty, and even went as far as accused me of altered my hair myself to make him look bad. Now it doesn't seem so farfetched that Justin intentionally butchered my hair when I returned for him to fix it from the first cut. Knowing that Justin has been quite capable in the past, I cannot fathom how he would find this cut acceptable. He claims the issue is that I can't ever be happy. Now, after a day of online bullying from him and his crew, Justin intentionally doing this to my hair seems quite plausible. They are threatening to take legal action against me for writing this review. I never expected a business to act so unprofessional. The level of narcissism is honestly quite frightening. This is an honest review based on my past experience as a client of Justin Manning at Kith and Kin.

Been twice and love it. Took my son last time, also. See Justin for a great cut and good conversation. New to area and have made this spot the place he and I will go to get haircuts.

As a male college student I've always cared A LOT about how my hair looks, and in the past I've never found anyone who listens and understands the look I'm going for. I've been anxious about getting my hair cut for years, but no more! Justin knew right away what I was saying, and I've never been happier with a cut! It was quick and the price was great for what I got, definitely will be returning in the future.

I was new to town and looking for a salon. Tried Kith & Kin based on their high google reviews. The place is a little hard to find due to signage and parking options weren't super clear in their lot. The salon itself is decorated very well. It is rustic charm, and I loved it. They did a great job with the place. My cut was $35ish and was done by a young gal (sorry, can't remember her name). The cut was fine. Nothing great, nothing bad. She did curl it for me which was great, and I felt good walking out of there. I had read in other reviews how warm and relaxing it was and how they offered a drink while you got a a cut. That wasn't exactly my experience, but maybe it was an off day or a mismatch with my stylist. While there, I got to see Justin work with clients, and he seemed very warm and friendly. Seems like a salon that men would be very comfortable in, as well as women.

Justin is the bomb! Beyond being a cool person who is fun to talk to, he gives good hair cuts. Both myself and my girlfriend go to him. And now my entire family goes to him. He even cuts and colors the girls hair. The price is good for the quality of cut and the treatment you get while you are there!

Best haircut I've ever had! I can only speak to men's haircuts, but Justin is so fast and efficient at giving a great, dapper look. Great atmosphere and a great price.

The new location is AMAZING! Justin has created a space with a modern lodge feel, that is open and very clean. It's great to have a salon that is keeping with the times by charging the same ~$35 for a haircut regardless of gender. It's clear from the fabulous photos on their Instagram and Facebook that the work done at Kith and Kin is top notch. I love going to Justin as he really talks through what you want to have done while also giving feedback on what will work for you in particular. I have loved absolutely every cut and style I have had done. My hair color looks amazing, he thinks about how hair will grow out and how to make your color last. Justin is a professional who truly knows his field, he is always friendly and willing to chat, but will also let you be if you'd rather check emails or read. I honestly could write a thousand more things praising Kith and Kin but the gist of it all is this, great atmosphere, great prices, great stylists.
