No food. The bartender was very nice and she let us try a few samples of the beers on tap since we couldn't decide which one to have. It's a cute little bar. Clean and nicely decorated. It was quiet enough to have conversations inside, which is nice. There was karaoke that night but nobody was singing when we were there.

Cool spot, came here on a Monday looking for a place that stays open late, this place blew my expectations for a regular bar, we had a DJ playing house music, the strobe ball was cool, great low lit ambience, felt like a goth bar with a modern kick to it, booth seating was comfy and spacious. Drinks acceptable, had a few beers on tap and Espresso Martini, this is now my mid week go to spot. Definitely will come back.

This is a Bar Only, No Food. Bartenders do a great job. The place is extremely small and tight. Has a Retro Theme going, which is pretty cool. DJ spins great music in Friday night after 9pm. I only went there 2x with a group meeting earlier in the eve and left by 10pm. Parking is very hard, but I heard there's a larger parking nearby that's supposed to be OK to park.

Always a good time. Great staff and fun karaoke. Parking isn’t fun but that’s not the bars fault. Drinks are reasonably priced considering any other options nearby. Treat the staff with kindness and tip well.

Great cocktail bar and lounge with music and events pretty much every night. Great bartenders, nice redlit ambiance, and a nice drink selection. Staple Costa Mesa watering hole.

I had a great time celebrating a friend’s birthday last Saturday at this bar. Rosie and Britney were very friendly and quick on the service!

This is a cute bar. The drinks were all short and fine. Not great. They were fine. The Long Island Ice Tea I ordered was almost all ice, served in a short glass and not very good at all. It was also $16. The drinks are very high priced but you’d never know because there is no drink menu or prices in sight. The bartender that closed that night made the worst drinks. His name is David and could be heard yelling on his cell phone that there was no one in the bar so he was closing early. Maybe if the drink was as stiff as the bill more people would have stayed. The restrooms were filthy. I won’t ever go back again.

Be careful I came to this place two days ago with my friends. When I ordered drinks, the bartender asked if I wanted to keep my tab open — I said yes. At the end of the night, when I asked for the bill, it was $75 for 5 or 6 drinks. Today, I checked my bank app and saw that I was charged twice: one charge for $100 and another for $46, even though I only used my card once for $75. I’m very disappointed and confused about these extra charges. I hope this gets resolved. Or i will report to the proper authorities

We had a wonderful experience here at Kitsch bar tonight, our bartender Juan went above and beyond. The drinks came out in a timely manner with an impeccable flavor profile. The ambience of the establishment was very inviting and chill. Would definitely come back here any night

It had been years since I popped into the Kitsch bar. I decided to end my 11 month sabbatical from alcohol to do my part to support our local watering holes while everyone else is doing the whole "dry January" BS! I actually didn't know this place had been redone. I liked the old setup but I loved that we were able to sit at the bar. We got to chatting with bartenders Narissa and Britney who were legit the best bartenders I've come across in OC besides Brandi at Ren's Social House in Tustin! If you aren't sure what to order, I recommend you try their signature cocktails because they're delicious! F Brandon is there say what's up to him too! He's super cool. I didn't know they have karaoke here on Wednesday nights so we will be back!!!!

Kitsch is one of my favorite bars in Costa Mesa. Perhaps I'm biased because I worked down the street and love the neighborhood. Depends on the day, there's either nowhere to sit or all the tables are open, I forget the name of it he cool bartender who told us how to park when we return and it was nice to have that secret info. Only taking one star off for the day I returned with a friend in the afternoon and a different bartender seemed to overcharge for the drinks. I will be back for sure for one of their events.

Stopped into this bar. It had a full parking lot but I still found a spot. The inside is clean and easy to get around. The bar is nice and the drinks are very good. The service was on it when i visited. I have to say you have to try this spot out at least once. Give them a try i am sure you will be back like me.

So much fun! Went on a Saturday when they had a DJ playing 2000's R&B and hip-hop. Make sure you have plenty of change as if you lay a $20 down it's hit and miss if they bring back change and drinks are a little pricy. But definitely would go back. Note average age group is probably late 20' to late 40's.

Went here for the first time with my friend and we had a blast. It was a Sunday night so we sang so many karaoke songs and even got a free drink for singing. Juan was our bartender and he was so funny to talk to. There was not a dull moment that night and we even got him to sing a song lol. Our drinks were good too! I was driving so I didn't drink much but my friend drank for the both of us hahaha.

The female bartender is super nice and efficient. This is more of a chill bar, kind of small and cozy, dark. Unisex single bathrooms. In the plaza with insit/the vape store, so going later benefits you more because tight parking. Surprisingly they have an open karaoke night on Sunday with a hostess. The crowd when we went chose a lot of old time classics. I think this is fit for an older crowd or couples who want a chill evening, not too rowdy, floors not sticky, and has a decent selection of drinks rather than a pregame or if you want to go out and drink with friends. They even have a happy hour at night. The bartender is talented in making drinks and this is probably one of the bars where you can build a relationship with the bartenders to experiment with your drinks. We didn't feel pressured or rushed at all. I see they already do this, but if I wanted to attract younger guests, they have a pretty good dj booth set up (maybe like a rnb night or boiler room vibes) w/ special cocktails and adding a photo booth, or partnering with a social club. I would think its quite a bookable venue too. Overall, seems like a bar for the community.

Sofia made us the perfect dirty martini. We came pretty early and sat at the bar. Would definitely recommend for an after work drinky with friends.

Hanging out late in OC and want a low key last stop? This is it. No scene, no stress....just a chill spot with strong drinks that don't mess around. Parking is easy, the vibe is relaxed, and it feels like a place locals actually go instead of somewhere trying too hard. Perfect for ending the night on a smooth, slightly buzzed note instead of a headache. If there ever was a "dive kinda hip bar", this is it.

I went here alone for karaoke on a Wednesday just a couple weeks before my birthday. I had so much fun I had to come back on the night before my birthday Staff/ bartenders were very kind and inviting immediately upon entry. Great crowd !! I've met some amazing new friends here. Karaoke on Wednesdays gets pretty packed especially around 11-12:30. I still need to go to karaoke Sunday. If you want to practice singing, just jam with friends, grab a drink and meet some incredible people this is the spot to go! Drinks are great! Also not to mention the claw machine in the back and the vibey gothic decor. Love this place. It's tucked away in a little shopping area that has ramen and a nail spa and it's so unassuming- but it's the best place to be! They also have awesome DJs on other nights- I could just go on and on! 15/10 I love this place.

Amazing service and atmosphere! The bartender Sofia greeted us upon entry, and we instantly felt welcomed. We sat down and had a few drinks talking amongst ourselves and other patrons, ultimately having a fantastic time. Absolutely recommend this spot.

Environment was great. Dimly lit and a disco ball over the dance floor displaying great club rotating colors throughout the bar. Clientele was cheerful and diverse all of which proved to be having a great time. Drinks were good and prices were surprisingly low for a night out. Bartenders were friendly and quick. The five stars was difficult to give because I would have preferred a bit more variation in music but that is just a personal preference and I am old at 54 (almost 55 lol) but I did know most of the music and did a lot of couch dancing and could barely keep from getting out on the dance floor. You can dress up or down and fit in. All-in-all this new find was a positive for us. We will be back for sure!

It's a diamond in the rough. Juan, the bartender, draws me there. He sets a remarkable example for how to treat the clientele. He's interesting, engaging and has a gift for making exceptional cocktails! The music is diverse and eclectic, very reflective of the atmosphere. It's a unique place to chill out or dance the night away. Juan makes a ridiculously good Gin Old Fashioned! Make sure you pitch yourself up at the bar when he's there. Side note, he has a wicked sense of humor that will have you laughing out loud.

Looking for a dive bar? Then look no further. Came here on a Saturday night around 9pm and the place had only a few tables taken up, plenty of bar space. Music was really good. 90's hip hop and R&B which is my jam so I was loving it. Sofiea was our bartender and she took great care of us. We ordered a couple of rounds and only told her what spirit we wanted and she whipped up some delicious drinks. Her drinks were a reflection of her and so she made sure we enjoyed our drinks. Pretty cool and hard to find from a bartender these days. Gave us the feel that we were regulars but it was actually our first time here! We will definitely come back.

Nar is the BEST bartender and although it's a busy NYE, our glasses are always full. The best bartender ever!!!

Went in and it's such a vibe! I do NOT know how to seriously order a cocktail... but I wanted to try one. I usually order beer. I asked the bartender Juan, and he didn't make me feel dumb about asking... just asked what I liked and he said... he knew exactly what I would like, and yes! So Delicious! I work nearby so definitely will be coming back and getting the name of that drink! So good!

Unique decor and ambiance. Good vibes. Friendly bartenders. I was told they don't have a kitchen...but that they have a "Taco guy" who comes often. The night I came, there was a Taco tent set up outside. The tacos were delicious, and reasonably priced.

Sofia was the best she serves the best lemons drops in town!! lol we also got candy shots of tequila and they were fire. She was super quick with it and great service overall. They have all red interior makes it more better for the vibes ‍

Out Homegirl was djing last Thursday night and it was an absolute blast It's a quaint little place with a busy parking lot so beware but I love that they do have fortaleza. BONUS POINTS! Service was excellent. Shoutout to the bartenders for taking care of us and they have a cool little keg urinal in one of the bathrooms. Very creative! There wasn't any food but we did buy some chips across the street and I brought them in haha! If I'm ever in the area for a dope little dive bar I'm always down to visit. Especially after some manpuku or kitakata.

Overcharged and bullied by Juan. Ambiance and bar patrons were great all night, but service was definitely lacking. Juan also under poured every drink I ordered. 1.25 oz is not a shot guy. I didn't mention it because we were trying to have a good time, but i think someone needs to learn their counts if they aren't going to use jiggers. This was my first time at kitsch bar and my last. I'll be sure to let everyone know about the discriminatory service they provide. I'm shocked to see such a high rating on here. Must've been pre-Juan days..

Found this place on Yelp because it was one block from my hotel. I walk in and they have happy hour til 8 and karaoke too! Where do you get a bottle of beer for $4 in OC?! On top of that an amazing bartender named Britney who also sang great. A very cool small dive bar.

This was my first time here with the girls, and Juan provided the most amazing service from the moment we sat down. He told us some jokes and literally made our night. We will definitely come back on the days he works, because honestly he knows what's up.

Have not been back since the remodel. The first time myself and my husband came back we met a cute brunette on Wednesday who served a Britney Bitch drink I think she said it was her drink it was amazing! I came back with my friends this last Friday and she was there her name is Brittney she was still smiling while so busy. My friends were not fond of a short male bartender with glasses he was not friendly. Brittney was working so hard still so attentive. Ask 4 Britt! She's the savior of this bar we will be back! Our bartender was juan, he was the chillest coolest bartender i've had in a while! Usually I have bad experiences with bartenders because I got usually get attitude, but with him, he was patient, nice kind & have I saidd how creamy his espresso martini are!!

Haven't been here in years, and the new remodel is really nice. Selection is great, and so is the service. Will definitely come back some other time when in the area. Parking can be terrible on a busy night with other popular restaurants in the area.

My friends and I came by several days ago after searching around for a bar to chill at late at night and we stumbled on Kitsch Bar and decided to check it out! Kitsch is located in a usually busy plaza next to great restaurants like Manpuku and Kitakata and is easily missed if you aren't looking for it! When you walk in, there is plenty of seating and tables surrounding the large bar table which is shaped in a U style. There are plenty of screens on the wall/bar showing sports and live tv. Local DJs will also play certain nights of the week/weekend to keep you entertained. The bartenders here are great and ours was super friendly as he made us his special cocktail which we all enjoyed and we had fun conversations with him throughout the night. This spot is a nice place to relax and chill and it wasn't too crowded when we showed up on a weekday but I'm sure it is popping on the weekends!

Kitsch Bar is one of the best bars in Orange County, largely due to the excellent service. Juan and the rest of the bartenders are so friendly and welcoming, even when it's busy. The drinks are strong and it's always a cozy atmosphere. Highly recommend, especially for Karaoke Wednesday.

Relatively small & loud inside - not place for large groups or to have a conversation. Wasn't really my vibe, but that's ok! Pretty good drinks for a bar though! Overall experience was fine, but I wouldn't come out of my way to go here.

what a hidden gem! came on a thursday, so it wasn't too busy. the bartenders are quick and the drinks were good! i love the ambiance of the place! has a good amount of seating and the sofas are pretty comfy

I found this place on Instagram and have been absolutely dying to check it out. I finally got the girls together for a night out on a Thursday night and we came here. They have a vinyl DJ and the jams were absolutely amazing. Interior was beautiful, everything looked beautiful and clean. There was a male bartender who was pretty lukewarm and didn't seem too happy to be there, but I can understand. It was completely dead and there were maybe a handful of people there aside from myself and my friends. We had one drink and left , I might've stayed longer if the bartender was more welcoming and there were more people, I will give it another go soon.

Great experience at Kitsch! A huge part of that was thanks to Sofia, the bartender. She was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and went out of her way to make sure everyone was having a great time. Whether it was recommending the perfect cocktail or just making conversation, she made the whole experience feel personal and enjoyable. The drinks were expertly crafted, and the atmosphere was just right--cozy yet lively. If you're looking for a place with great drinks and even better service, I highly recommend stopping by and saying hi to Sofia! I'll definitely be back.

Nice bar, good drinks and wide menu options. Trivia night is super fun and the drink prizes are great. Bartenders are also great and helpful with trivia hints' Parking is a little rough at times.
