I stopped at Kitty Hawk during my time in the Nashville airport and had a mixed experience. The service was excellent—the staff were friendly, attentive, and quick, which made ordering and getting settled easy. Unfortunately, the food did not match the quality of the service. I ordered a sandwich that came with an egg, and it really missed the mark. The egg was thick and rubbery, almost to the point where it felt overcooked and heavy. It completely threw off the texture and taste of the sandwich, making it hard to enjoy. After a few bites, I realized I didn’t even need to finish it.

Ordered a regular coffee and 2 caramel cappuccino. Watched 4 other customers get their coffee before us. The cappuccino were supposed to be 12 Oz. I ordered 2 to put I'm my 24oz cup and only got 12oz of cappuccino in total. Total cost for 10 minutes to make a coffee and 12 Oz of caramel cappuccino $22. Makes me wish I hadn't of tipped them. One person taking orders and making coffee 4 others not making coffee. Not a fan do not recommend. Doughnut shop or Starbucks is a far better choice.

Didn’t eat here but wanted to share that kale salad can be made vegan if omit cheese, soup of the day might be plant-based depending on the day. Self-checkout is convenient.

For 30 bucks you get raw salmon (that i could probably get salmonella from) and eggs n beans that taste cold, old, and horrible. Not only that but the guac also looked very brown and bland, and the beans were hard and sweet. As for the salmon sandwich, it was completely raw, at least specify on your menu if it is!? When we went to order and ask about the raw salmon we were met with hostility and a sense of burden, jeez. Lastly, the coffee we ordered (around $5-7) was half filled…it was bitter too. Don’t expect much from here besides cheap food.

After a very long day of several airplane rides I stopped at this restaurant for a quick bite. The menu offered a variety of items. After asking the waitress for her recommendations, I choose a chicken type sandwich. It was good. Not what I would call a fantastic sandwich but overall it was good enough to eat and fill my empty stomach. The tots were overly seasoned in my opinion. It was a unique but I could only eat a few. The lady that works the front counter was incredibly nice and very helpful. She alone made the visit well worth the effort and money.

I had an extremely upsetting and humiliating experience at this location. The manager on duty took pictures of me without consent and called security when I questioned why. I came in wearing my work badge, asked about a frozen espresso martini, and was ignored by the two cashiers for about a minute while they talked. When I finally placed my order, they asked if I worked at the airport and said they couldn’t serve me because of my badge. I explained I worked for an airline, not the airport, but they told me to leave, remove my badge, and return without it while they checked with their manager. When I came back without my badge, the manager refused service, saying I shouldn’t have entered with my badge in the first place. As I was leaving, he took a picture of me. When I asked why, he said it was so staff would know not to serve me and that it was “a public place.” He then called security and described me specifically as “an African American female,” which felt racially motivated. Security found no issue, but the manager also told me I could be watched on their cameras while waiting. This entire encounter was unprofessional, degrading, and discriminatory. I felt targeted and deeply uncomfortable. I will not be returning.

Tortilla soup had NO tortilla, the sandwich was basic. Totals cost for a soup and sandwich $27.00 RIDICULOUS!

The airport restaurant Kitty Hawk has great service, good food and the atmosphere is very good (other than the airport being busy). When you go at a good time, the service speed is very good, fast, and the good comes out perfect. 5 stars for this restaurant
