Excellent selection of Eggs Benedict! I love this restaurant! Friendly and fast service in an awesome environment! Delicious breakfast taters!

Hidden Gem should be the title. Italian so good that if the lights were dimmer, you could easily imagine a fat mafia boss in the corner... yet this place is family friendly. Food in pictures is about $15 bucks. So you don't need to be able to afford an Armani suit and some fat gold rings to try the joint. Does live music sometimes.

Great food amazingly feeindly staff defiantly will be back when in the area.

They have A LOT to choose from. I had the chicken livers. They also had beef liver with onions. I'm not used to seeing that on most menus. There's great options for you non-liver eating peeps.

Kitty's is where Southern hospitality meets unbelievable Food! The staff were friendly and quickly made us feel like we had known each other for years. The food was unbelievable. I had Corned Beef Hash, eggs, and a biscuit. My wife had the Country Fried Steak, eggs, grits and Biscuits and Gravy plate. Both dishes were flavorful, perfectly cooked, and arrived quickly. Prices were fair and the outdoor seating option was perfect on a beautiful morning. This is a gem and I would bypass closer eateries to dine here again.

This place is super cute, lots of animal drawings and pictures all over the place. The menu is a little underwhelming and the food unfortunately matches the selection options. Nothing was bad but nothing made me want to come back. This fits into a place to get decent cheap eats. We got the garden omelette with frits and the kitty's kristo sandwich with potatoes.

Exactly what you hope for when you stop in at a local diner - good food and good service. I stopped by for breakfast after a morning workout. I was seated immediately and my server had my order just a few minutes later. I thought the food was excellent and saw many other plates that came out that looked equally good. It’s definitely worth stopping by and checking out.

We were just there waiting. Checked in with the front. 3 guys came in about 5 minutes later did not check in. Sat for a minute. Someone just got up from a booth and they just went and sat at the table. When we pointed that out the waitress went over said we were there first and they would not move. We were just told it won’t be long for another table and some people suck. So we ended up leaving because we were there first if they can’t enforce there rules and also respect our time then they don’t need my money. WILL NOT BE BACK. Also the 3 guys thought it was funny.

The food was great! Our server was great as well, love the interaction he had with his customers. He even made our pup feel comfortable. Most definitely would recommend especially if you are traveling with dogs.

Oh wow! I found something on the menu I haven't seen in years.... SOS (chipped beef on toast)! It was SO GOOD! Friend got the hamburger steak and was extremely pleased with that. Giant cup of coffee to seal the deal! Will definitely be back! Awesome top notch service too!

This place is located off the beach and we happened upon it on our way out of town. What a fabulous find!! The place is well decorated with great paintings and pet photos all over the walls. It has a small town charm that isn't easy to obtain mixed with a southern diner feel. They have some outdoor seatings as well. The staff are super friendly and very helpful. The fried green tomatoes... oh my word. Done to perfection. Corned beef hash did not disappoint!! Everyone cleaned their plates. If you like fried green tomatoes... do yourself a favor and order them.

I wasn't impressed. This place was recommended as budget friendly by a local YouTuber. After fees (if you pay a a cc), tip, and up charges here & there; I ordered a side salad as the third item on my veg plate and was charged extra. The salad was tiny. My servings were tiny. The food is subpar for the price. Average cafeteria food. Our server wasn't very friendly either. It looked like locals love it though, so maybe I just don't get it? Would not return.

I just read the owners response to my 4 star review of Kitty's Cafe and while we haven't been back we certainly will make this a "must stop" when we make the trek down from the Nashville area. (I updated my review to a 5 star review based off our experience, the food and this owners response which I appreciated. We love small businesses. I remember the sausage patty still and the fried green tomato. Nothing like that delicious in all of the NashvilleFranklinBrentwoodNolensville area that's how good it was.

Moved to Massachusetts 3 years ago I missed southern cooking breakfast they're fast sweet and good! Mom and I reconnected and loved it

Very cool old school diner with good lunch specials. I went real Southern with fried chicken livers, speckled butter beans, fried green tomatoes and cornbread. All that and sweet tea for $10.99. My wife had fried chicken, green beans, mac and cheese and a roll for $11.99 (drink included). Fast, friendly service and cool decor (lots of pictures of dogs and cats) made for an excellent lunch. Check 'em out!

Everything we had for breakfast was great; biscuits and gravy, the perfect breakfast, and veggie omelette were delicious. And the prices were spot on for the amount of food you received, which is more than enough! Great mimosas and Irish coffees too! Highly recommend! It's a small place (maybe 20 tables) with some outdoor seating as well. Worth the wait!

Let me start by saying the food is amazing! So e of ua had lunch, some breakfast. The servers help each other, never an empty glass. The spaghetti sauce is amazing! It tasted homemade with chunks of meat in sauce. The pancakes are great. The Country fried steak was amazing. The place has paintings of pigs flying and dogs and cats all over. Pretty neat environment especially if you bring the littles.

This place is really cute. It has dog and cat pictures on the wall and some very interesting paintings. Unfortunately, the door is right in the middle of the dining room and it's cold when it gets opened and there's not really anywhere to hide from it. The service was good mostly. She was sassy and my friends like that. Bloody Marys are good. Food was okay. Definitely nothing to write home about. My grits seriously needed butter and salt and pepper. My eggs were perfect. The bacon was crispy as I ordered it. Unfortunately, my white toast was burnt on all four sides. I asked for a replacement English muffin that never did show up. My friend said that the crab cake was amazing and that the crab was fresh. Her wife thought differently lol. The hollandaise is good but lemony. Wings were pretty good. The corn muffins are straight jippy with no extras. Coleslaw seems to be homemade. Chicken and dumplings were okay they just needed more salt.

Easy parking Quaint local restaurant. Friendly staff Wendy was our waitress. Husband had homemade hash with delicious rye bread and marmalade. I had old-fashioned oatmeal that was very good. It's worth a try if in the area

Beautiful Family Cafe Dining Atmosphere! The Daily Special of "Meat plus Two (or Three)" Special never disappoints! Our waitress was attentive and friendly... glasses never went empty. If you're looking for Home Country Cooking at the Beach, this IS the place!

Miss Jackie was the best and made sure we had all we needed! Southern diner food at its best. Excellent biscuits! Charming decor with indoor or outdoor seating.

We were greeted promptly at the door and seated immediately. Staff was very friendly and the food was quick and hot. As far as ambiance, all the pictures of the dogs and cats I personally loved. I absolutely would come back.

This was our first meal at Kitty's Kafe, but it won't be the last. Hubby and I had a late breakfast on a Thursday and we both loved what we ordered. I got the Breakfast Burrito. It came with potatoes and home made salsa. Omg, so good! Hubby got Pancakes and Sausage. 2 huge cakes and 2 nice size patty sausages. Yummers! We arrived around 11:30-ish. The wait was less than 10 minutes. All the staff were hustling and everyone helps each other. I bet we had 4 wait staff assist with our meal and this is not a big place. Excellent food, excellent customer service. My kind of joint!! We'll be back...

The buttery filled buns were my favorite. Service was great, it's located in a relaxing spot.

We ordered the breakfast burrito, pancakes & bacon, bacon blt, kitty breakfast, bread pudding. Bread pudding hands down was the best entree. The breakfast burrito cheese wasn't melted and seemed old. Front of house staff was quick, kind, and had great personality. Photos of dogs all over the wall not my cup of tea, but to each their own.

Always busy always friendly. My husband's 'go to' place for liver and onions. And we love the decor!

Food was ok nothing special. Southwest omelette was pretty good. Service was good and funny. We had fun. Ambiance was just plenty of pictures of dogs on the wall. I'm trying to find out why they call this place Kitty's with no pic of cats on the wall.

Get ready or be prepared for a little wait but it's worth it. My favorite is breakfast but any lunch special is great. All of the servers there are great. They also have great coffee, bloody Mary's and mimosas

Waitress took our order then proceeded to go to Target. When she came back in and saw we didn't have our food after waiting 30 minutes, she never came back out and apologized, offer to comp, or anything. We left!

The food was great and it came out hot and freshly made. The server was very friendly and kept our coffee hot.

Kitties is a great place for like a local lunch at a decent price. Every time we go to Gulfshores we always make it a point to eat once or twice at kitties.

Eggs Benedict with fried green tomato was amazing! Super friendly waitstaff. We ended up eating here multiple times while on vacation and would definitely recommend it.

It's been three years since I reviewed this place, been nearly a year since I was last here so it's time for a fresh look. What brought us here today was their posting about their contributing $1 for each meal sold to Jason Porter who has just passed away and has 3 children, the youngest is 8 months old. A neighbor was friends with this young man and she is very sad. Kitty's is also accepting donations so we are here to support the efforts that Kitty's has made possible today for this family, prayers for them too. Now let's talk about Kitty's, the place hasn't changed over the years and is still a local favorite that offers breakfast and lunch. They also have a full bar so getting that Bloody Mary or Mimosa with your breakfast is available. Most of what I wrote about in my first review remains the same however the service and food has changed and not for the better. There's a greeter at the door who seats you and gets you a drink and our server showed up to take our order. The food comes out quickly from someone in the kitchen, there's a sense of being very busy but that's something that they are accustomed to. Aside from the absence of the friendly hometown feel the food was just way off. I had chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes with gravy, cole slaw & corn bread muffin. All of it was super bland and the thin chicken patty was too greasy. My wife had the garden omelet with grits and rye toast, she also complained of a greasy omelet with no cheese inside. It's unfortunate that I have to drop a couple stars but I wouldn't return for bland and greasy food despite the fun atmosphere and reasonable prices. Bottom line: I'm going to wait a while to give these guys another chance to get their focus on the food where it should be.

Breakfast was really good. Corned beef hash was definitely homemade. Totally enjoyed my meal. A little on the pricey side or it would be 5 stars. Breakfast for my daughter and me was $45.

I had my doubt about ordering a menu item called "The perfect breakfast", but it was pretty dang good. Ask for the extra crispy bacon. Seating is limited so don't roll in with 10 guys expecting to be seated right away.

The food was great! Our server was very nice. I loved being able to look at all the pet pictures. Great overall experience. Felt like I was sitting at my Mama's table. I will definitely go back.

So disappointed in how rude the hostess was to our family today. We were not allowed to be seated after we waited for our table, because our fifth member was in the car on the phone. Our table was given to another group of 3 and we were treated very rudely about it! Would have loved to eaten here because I've heard the food is good, but never got the chance because the server would not seat us!!! Leaves a very bad taste in my mouth about this restaurant.

Good food and prices... busy. It's a nice little old fashioned looking country cafe' that you will like.

We came here on the last morning of our trip based off of my in-law's recommendation. This reminds me of a cute, hometown diner. The walls were decorated with numerous photos of pets and some hand draw murals filled in the blank spots. One of those places where they will decorate it as they please with zero F's given. I ordered the basic breakfast with hash browns, two eggs, two slices of bacon, and a huge pancake. You can't really mess up those things and it was about as average as you can imagine for a breakfast platter. Our kids really enjoyed their breakfast pancakes and bacon. The prices were fair and service was really good. All sorts of people came to our table throughout the meal so you know it was very much a collaborative teamwork environment. Again, we all enjoyed our food and it was fine and service was on par!

Great for breakfast. Love the art work and photos on the walls. Service was courteous and quick we had our coffee within three minutes. They know how to cook eggs over medium which seem difficult for most breakfast cooks. The potatoes were soggy and disappointing but the Conecuh Sausage links were delicious. My wife had pancakes and she said they were like home made. The bacon was fried perfectly. We will return.

An overall very good breakfast dining experience. I was welcomed and seated promptly when arriving and the server arrived quickly with the menu and a chance to preorder my morning coffee. The non standard and well sized cup arrived and was refilled frequently. The breakfast selection is fairly wide with standard items and some special items like the Eggs Benedict. The portions are well sized and do not leave you wanting more or with a half eaten plate. good marks on the grits. They were smooth and well prepared. Overall a satisfying and relaxing way to start the day.

Really great place for breakfast, brunch or lunch! I had the Crab Egg Benedict and Sausage with Gravy Biscuit and home fired potatoes. It was delicious! The sausage and gravy was well seasoned and the Crab Egg Benedict did not disappoint. The service was impeccable as well! My Husband's drink never ran empty and he ordered the Hot Roast Beef and Swiss Panini with Lima Beans and fries. The Lima beans are superb and the Hot Roast Beef was great. Highlight of the meal was the incredible service. The servers are encouraged to take care of every table so if they see you need anything they have been empowered to take care of it. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

Kitty Kitty, This is one cat I have no problem being near! Kitty Kafe is placed within the major shopping center in close proximity to Target before you get to the beachfront. Keep in mind this spot is only open for breakfast and early lunch so if you're hungover or have a bad sunburn, grab your sunnies and a cap then relish in the deliciousness of this Kafe. You are more than welcome to grab a drink at the bar and they'll simply add it to your table tab upon being sat down. Now get ready because these pours are HEAVY. I had a double mimosa and I'm certain it was pretty much half the bottle with a splash of grapefruit. Best Part? IT WAS ONLY FOUR DOLLARS. I don't think I've ever gotten tipsy spending less than $5 ANYWHERE. Now the drinks isn't the focal point here of course. NO NO NO. It's all about the food and this spot has all of your comfort foods that'll either have you with a happy belly heading back home or ready to conquer the beach for the afternoon. My tab was a little under $20 bucks and that included their Koastal Toast (French Toast) with a side of bacon, a biscuit with sausage gravy, and a double mimosa. The Koastal Toast was delicious but I do recommend the fried version. Treat yourself and get it done this style. It's a little bit sweeter but I like the crunch to it. The grill version was a little too soft for my personal taste. (S/O to my server for letting me do half and half since I couldn't make up my mind) I really loved the biscuit with gravy and sausage bits because it was such a large portion for only $3.50. This can easily be a meal for someone TBH. My table loved all of their dishes and we all agreed this will be a permanent fixture in our visits back to Gulf Shores!

This place had great reviews, the service was good however most of the food was pre-made. Only the eggs and a pancake was cooked to order, the eggs in both cases were over cooked. The biscuits and sausage had to be pre-made and were flavorless. The potatoes were stale. I felt the portions were also small for the price. We had breakfast at another diner not too far from here same price and 2x the food. The only saving grace was the staff were nice. Maybe we had a bad run idk but will not return.
