Türkiye: From the Bazaar to the Vineyard, from the Inn to the Beach, In Pursuit of İzmir’s Delicacies

"Built in 1744, Kızlarağası Han is a magnificent historic inn where I admire the architecture, browse antique and ephemera shops, and take a welcome coffee break amid the atmospheric courtyard." - The MICHELIN Guide

If you want an authentic local experience, make a stop here , have Turkish coffee, that is probably best in the area . Then go for a stroll in the bazaar

I was looking for a supposed museum, but it's just a market basically with some restaurants and coffee shops. Not much to do except drink a coffee and take some photos

This is great coffee experience. Never had coffee heated in hot sand for, its quite different. We tried the infusions before coffee. The Indian fig infusion was really nice

Such a lovely and historical place. It's only the humid weather that makes it really tough to wander. Lovin it thoug❤️

Small but free museum. There are two small houses you can enter and learn more about olive oil production and pottery. We stayed about 15 minutes before we saw everything. Nice for a pit stop.

This is a huge place. Nice shops and loads of places to eat. You'll need good hard wearing shoes to walk this place. A must visit again.

Very nice place, ground floor there are many shops there and in the centre court there is a lovely cafe with nice sitting area full of good vibes, upstairs you can find many workshops, you can enter them, see how the do handcrafts and buy directly if you want. The best place there is the cafe located upstairs which you can set there enjoy the view to hisar cami and the central court. Don't forget to bring your coins with you because you can't pay there by your bank card. The tea there is so cheap too.
