Kizuki Ramen & Izakaya (Carmel)

The absolute best, most authentic ramen I've ever had in America. I didn't get a photo of the ramen cause it was good I couldn't stop eating. The broth is incredibly flavorful but not too heavy, the noodles have a great texture, the noodle to broth ratio is spot on, the chasu is high quality, the eggs... OOOHHHH MY, the eggs are transcendent. The service is similar to Japanese-style with the midwest nice flair, which is to say they're super friendly, they're always there when you need them, but they aren't bothering you every five seconds. It feels like you're back in Japan. If you've never had authentic ramen, or are feeling homesick for Japanese ramen, give this place a go. You won't regret it.

Ordered the garlic tonkotsu shoyu ramen with chicken karaage. The interior was nicely designed with cool wall décor and a pleasant atmosphere. I also appreciated the open kitchen — it gave me confidence in their cleanliness. However, the food itself was just average. First, the chicken karaage came out extremely fast, like within a minute of ordering. It was clearly pre-fried rather than made to order, though it still tasted pretty good. The biggest disappointment was the meat on top of my ramen. It was tough, dry, and completely lacking in flavor — honestly, the ramen would have been better without it. I understand there aren’t many ramen spots nearby, but for a $19 bowl, this was disappointing. I really wanted to like this place since it’s so close to home, and I’ll probably give it another try a couple more times.

Good food and atmosphere. I ordered two ramen for pickup, but I was pretty disappointed with how little soup was in the containers. It looked like barely any broth after transfer to bowl. Am I supposed to add water myself? >>> I live only 6 minutes from the restaurant, and the soup wasn’t split during pickup or during the drive. If you look at the soup cup, it simply wasn’t filled with enough broth.

Our server (from Indonesia) was the best! We loved all the recommendations. We were referred here by friends and will be paying it forward! Heads up the house said is huge!

This place is fantastic! The service is top-notch - Austin helped us with dinner and was incredibly welcoming and kind. We instantly felt at home, even though it was our first visit. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere cozy and inviting. Thank you for a wonderful evening - we’ll definitely be back!

Leaving a 5 star review so people will see it. Ordered tan tan ramen to go, $18 but I thought “if it’s good it will be worth it.” They didn’t even fill up the ramen broth cup half way. Such a disappointment.

We went to Kizuki for the devour Indy winterfest and had a fantastic time! The service was quick and friendly and the food was excellent. We started with the pork gyoza and chicken karage. The gyoza came with a nice vinegar based sauce that complemented it well and the chicken karage were perfectly crispy. The spicy mayo was perfect for dipping as well. They were out of their most popular ramen which was disappointing but I ordered the Yuzu Shio ramen instead and was pleasantly surprised. The citrus was the perfect flavor profile to go with the fatty pork and greens that came in the dish. The noodles were cooked perfectly and the portion was a good size. We ordered green tea to drink which they came and refilled multiple times which was a nice touch. Overall an excellent restaurant if you’re looking for ramen in the area.

Kizuki Ramen & Izakaya absolutely deserves 5 stars. I went specifically to take on their ramen challenge, and I failed, but the ramen itself was incredibly flavorful and delicious. The broth was rich, the noodles were perfect, and the toppings were fresh and high quality. The bowl is massive, so definitely take caution before attempting the challenge. It's no joke and is way harder than it looks. The staff was friendly and super encouraging, making the experience fun whether you win or lose. Just keep in mind that if you fail, the bowl is pretty expensive, so be ready for that. Still, even with the price, the quality makes it worth it. The decor is also really impressive. The atmosphere feels cozy, modern, and authentic, making it a great spot whether you're dining casually or taking on the challenge. Everything is clean, well-kept, and designed with a lot of thought. Even though I didn't beat the challenge, the food and overall experience were fantastic. I'd easily come back just for a regular bowl of ramen. Highly recommend this spot for ramen lovers and anyone looking for a fun dining experience!

Service here has always been good - whether for takeout or sit down dinner. Their seating area is nice and cozy. With respect to food, their chicken karaage is very good - the coating stays crispy even when part of a takeout meal. We have tried the garlic tonkotsu ramen and spicy ramen. I would say that the spicy ramen is bit tastier. The meat that the ramens come with is generally on the lean side and I feel the meat portion is a little less. However the ramen broth is consistently good. The rice bowl is also a good choice of entree in their menu. Cocktails are cheap and on the light side.

We had visited Kizuki for dinner, as a party of four. We entered at around 7pm, and the restaurant was fairly busy, but we managed to get seats without any issue. We started off with chicken karaage, takoyaki octopus dumplings, geso karaage and prawn cutlets for starters. The prawn cutlets really stood out for me - it was one of the best dishes for the night. The geso karaage and chicken karaage were also crisped to perfect. For some of us, the chicken karaage was the best. We followed this with gekikara and garlic tonkotsu shoyu ramen. Gekikara is supposed to be the hottest item on the menu, but it was not very spicy for my palate (I have a very high heat tolerance). But the broth was sooo good. I really loved the toppings. We almost sniffed the ramen out of the bowl like Naruto. We ended our meal with some mochis and red bean ice-cream. The ice-cream was good, but I was really upset that they covered the mochis with whipped cream and placed a cracker on top. A few samurais must have died in the corner. Barring the desert, it was overall a very enjoyable experience.

Normally my favorite spot of all times to go eat at. Service was always great but not sure what happened it's really bad now. I came to get to go ramen and while waiting I saw the kitchen is absolutely nasty! Floors are disgusting food on the floor, grease etc... was very surprised for a Carmel restaurant. Got my ramen came back home to find dead flies in my ramen, both in mine and my kids. They look like fruit flies? Not sure. This is absolutely disgusting. Obviously the hygiene is not there and now they have flies in the broth. That's just nasty! Clean your restaurant clean your kitchen!

I was searching for ramen on the northside and I stumbled upon Kizuki in my search for a new to me ramen spot. This place really put me back into Japan. I love the ambience and the bustling kitchen. And the food was phenomenal. I ordered the tonkotsu shoyu ramen and I don't think I will order anything different. When I say that was an iconic bowl of Ramen, I mean ICONIC! All of the ingredients were so thoughtfully crafted and really all worked perfectly together. I went on a Saturday in a group of three it was around 6:45 and we were being sat immediately. The restaurant was pretty full so I think we just got lucky. Service was great and quick and you can pay via your phone so super convenient.

Wow! Everything tasted very authentic, service was amazing, atmosphere with the semi-open kitchen is also very cool. The pork gyoza was so delicious I forgot to take a picture, but it's a good amount for sharing or to savor alone. For my main dish, I tried their limited time special - Spicy Chicken Tan Tan. It had a great flavor and wasn't too spicy for me (I'm between a mild-medium on the Thai scale for reference). My friends ordered various types of ramen and all loved what they got - there are a lot of options on the menu. You can ask for low sodium, extra noodles, extra egg, etc. to customize your bowl as well.

I love Ramen. Since living in Indy for the last 8 years, Ramen has now become quite main stream and restaurants have popped up everywhere both local and chains. (I don't hate it, but it does mean I'm particular about my standards for Ramen) All that being said Kizuki Ramen & Izakaya, while completely unassumingly located in a strip mall in Carmel, is still one of the longstanding cream of the crop for quality Ramen in greater Indianapolis. I love the variety of Ramen and traditional Japanese dishes that they offer, and the quality lives up to this standard as well. I gauge a good ramen on three things: the broth, noodles, and the ajitsuke tamago (ramen egg). The times I've been here, the broth has been rich, deep in flavor, and hits the umami spot - umptious and salty. The noodles have a great chew and thickness to them. The egg is presented whole, and when you cut into it you should look for that perfect jammy consistency in the yoke with that rich marinated flavor of soy sauce. For places that just serve you a plain soft boiled eggs - stray away, you can definitely judge a ramen place by their egg. I've gone here a couple of times (if only they weren't all the way up in Carmel!), but every time service has been quick and efficient. I'll emphasize that their location being in a strip mall does limit their seating space inside, so I imagine there can be waits during really popular days and times. I've gone during dinner time on weekday nights, which has not been super busy for them. Price point can range from $18- $25 for a ramen dish, which isn't horrible for a great bowl of ramen. Definitely worth making the trip up, or stopping by if you're in the area.

Food is a 10. You can taste each ingredient too! Service always respectful and on time with food. Ambiance? This place feels rich and classy bathrooms are clean and spotless. For Ramen in Indy, this is our go to place! We recommend it every time! Spicy garlic my favorite! Medium spicy!!

Nice little spot! It was pretty busy when we walked in, but luckily they had space for our group of five. The woman who took our order was very helpful--she explained what dishes were popular and even pointed out the restaurant's #1 I had the Garlic Tonkotsu shoyu , and they were great--thick and chewy, almost like they might be house-made (if not, they sure tasted like it!). The broth was rich and flavorful, but honestly, a bit too salty for my taste. I found myself wishing they offered the option to dilute it slightly with hot water--it would've made it perfect. All in all, a nice place with great service and solid food. I'd definitely come back and try something else on the menu!

After hearing this is one of the greater Indy area's top ramen spots, my partner and I finally decided to give it a try during Devour. The place was pretty packed on Friday night, but we had less than a 10 minute wait for a table. I love all the wooden features throughout the restaurant, it gives a very cozy vibe. Our server was very kind and gave us a quick rundown of the Devour menu as well as the differences between types of ramen. Only one of us actually ordered the Devour deal which comes with a drink, appetizer, and entree. All together, we ended up with a strawberry Ramune, pork gyoza, garlic tonkatsu ramen, and curry don with chicken karaage. I think two appetizers would've been a little overkill for us since we didn't want to take away leftovers. The pork gyoza were pretty good, but could use a little more flavor--maybe extra green onion? The curry don was rich and hearty with lots of good onion slices mixed throughout. My partner let me try his garlic tonkatsu, which is also very rich and salty but delicious. I liked that they give you a full egg rather than the half you get at most places, and it was also perfectly jammy inside. Despite being ravenous when I walked in, I still couldn't finish off the large curry and rice bowl. A sort of random but nice touch--they have mouth wash dispensers in the bathroom!

This is easily the best ramen we've had in Indiana. The service was fast, the food was amazing, the waiter was really nice and attentive, and the interior design really fit the restaurant. The veggie ramen was very good. I added a boiled egg and tofu and it was so good.

These days there are a ton of ramen options in Indy but we keep coming back to Kizuki for their Garlic Tonkotsu ramen in particular. The tonkotsu broth is rich and savory. The toppings are always fresh and my personal favorite addition is an extra soy marinated egg. The eggs are always cooked to a perfect jammy consistency and add another level of richness to the dish. If you're looking for an appetizer, you can't go wrong with the pork or vegetable gyoza. We ordered carryout this time and I really appreciate how thoughtfully they package the food. The broth is packaged separately from the noodles and toppings allowing you to make your own bowl and reheat it so it's nice and hot. They include directions for reheating but I personally like to heat the broth in a saucepan and pour it over the noodles and toppings, stirring gently with chopsticks until the noodles loosen up.

I have been on a quest to find a ramen restaurant in Indiana since I moved here a year ago, and I think I have finally found one! I love how warm and rich the broth is, how thick the noodles are, and how fresh my appetizer was. Additionally, the service was quick and on point, and I felt the invited. I love how the ambiance (layout and decor) made me feel like I was in an authentic ramen restaurant. I'd definitely recommend this place for ramen, plan to come back!

We love Kizuki on a cold Friday evening and we're seating quickly! The interior transports you out of Indiana. It took a few trips to the kitchen to sort out my gluten allergy and the only thing I could eat was the vegetable ramen with chicken (yam noodles). It was a bit lacking in flavor and the noodles had a crunchier/crisper texture than traditional ramen (sort of like a zucchini noodle). Overall it wasn't my favorite, but my family loved their traditional ramen bowls! Their team is incredibly friendly, prompt, and pays attention to detail. We'd highly recommend.

First time trying this place and I will absolutely be back. My server was very attentive and nice and the spicy miso ramen was great! Am new to the area and just found my new ramen place!

We tried this restaurant based on a friends recommendation and it did not disappoint!! We went during devour Indy and got a really good deal. The side dishes were so good! The ramen was amazing and the larger dishes were a lot of food. The atmosphere was good, small and crowded but not noisy. I would definitely go back!

Visited again for the Devour Indy menu and got the same entree (Garlic Tonkatsu Ramen), but this time low sodium, and it was PERFECT! I added extra noodles so I had enough to take home leftovers but it was hard to stop eating! The Karaage appetizer was also delicious and the Sake Bomb (2 oz house sake and 8 oz Sapporo beer) was fun. The service was definitely a highlight. The server was friendly and attentive but not overbearing. When my husband discovered he was missing the protein from his dish, another server saw him start to look for someone and immediately came over to see what was the matter. He swiftly apologized and put the order in to the kitchen. Then our server came over and profusely apologized. The order showed up quickly with more apologies. It's so rare these days to see waitstaff who truly care about your experience. Great job!

Several of us met for lunch at Kizuki in Carmel last Sunday. We arrived before they opened so we could be the first to get a table for eight. After seeing the table layouts, I realized large groups would be a problem here. Luckily, there was a row of two-tops the manager slid together for us. Plus, thanks to Sigi, we managed to have separate checks. The restaurant is lovely, and the decor is peaceful with unique wall dividers made from squares of wood. Some dividers go floor to ceiling while others are short walls. The kitchen is open so you can see the chef's prepare the various dishes. As you enter, immediately to the right is a small bar top. The restaurant filled up very quickly, and I assumed it was because this was the last day of Devour Indy. However, after dining here, I expect they always have a full house since everything I had was delicious. The Devour Indy menu was only $25 per person and offered a non-alcoholic or alcoholic beverage, a choice of 1 of the 5 appetizers, then your selection of a ramen or rice dish from the main menu plus many additional toppings can be added for an upcharge. $25 is a great savings since the Ramen bowls alone range from $15 - $20, much less a 3 course meal. I ordered their excellent, warm sake, pork gyozs (perfectly fried dumplings), and Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen. The ramen broth is simmered for over 10 hours and has a delicious, rich broth flavored with soy sauce, lots of garlic, and topped with amazing black garlic oil. I added a side of roasted seaweed, which I enjoy in my ramen. Most of the ramens are topped off with a few dried chili flakes for a touch of heat. More or none can be added per your request between mild, medium, or spicy. My ramen included a whole seasoned soft-boiled egg, but I hate soft eggs and ask them to place it on the side for another to enjoy. Kizuki prepares food with vegetarian ingredients. However, due to the nature of their kitchen operations, they can not guarantee cross contamination. Be sure to ask your server about vegetarian items or their gluten-free menu if needed. Everyone said they enjoyed their meals and especially the Devour Indy Menu. I'll definitely be back in the near future.

"That was...good" were the words I used to describe my experience at Kizuki this evening. When we first entered, I was expecting there to be a wait, as the restaurant was located in a busy shopping center. I was pleasantly surprised there wasn't a wait, and we were seated when we came in. The vibe of the place is welcoming. Seems a little more upscale, definitely fitting of being located in Carmel. The waitress came and greeted us quickly, and got both of our drinks and entrees put in quickly. A quick rundown of everything I had: -Raspberry Sake Margarita: for only being $6, I was pleasantly surprised by the strength of it. The sake wasn't overwhelming, and the raspberry wasn't strong. Solid. -Chicken Karaage: meh (in my opinion the most disappointing part of the evening). The chicken was definitely juicy, but, in my opinion, was poorly butchered before preparing. I understand it's chicken thighs, but the amount of cartilage/chewy parts on it was overwhelming and put me off. The spicy mayo that came with was good though. -Garlic Tonkotsu Shoyo Ramen: definitely the most enjoyable part of the evening (as to be expected at a ramen joint). The broth was flavorful. Only negative was the pork belly that came with it was about 1/4 the size that was depicted in the menu. Overall, happy with the experience and value for what we got. Won't make a special trip to visit here, but if I'm ever in the area, would definitely return.

I've been to other Kizuki locations in the Greater Seattle area and was expecting a similar experience. But upon talking to our waiter, I was told that the menu here was a bit different than other chain locations and that their location caters their menu to kitchen specialties, etc. This specific Kizuki is not like any other chain location I've been to. The quality and dishes are significantly better and blew my expectations. I tried the citron ramen (light sodium) and it was so fragrant, light, and I didn't feel too heavy or bad afterwards. Service was good and timely. I would highlyyyy recommend.

Stopped in to this beautifully decorated ramen shop in Carmel on Wednesday for dinner. I was greeted upon entering the restaurant by just about every employee in the restaurant, even if they were doing something. I was sat immediately and our server was happy to go over the menu as it was my first time eating here. Our server was incredibly knowledgeable of all the menu items and even had a handful of recommendations. The food: admittedly I don't know much about authentic Japanese ramen and Izakaya style dining but all of the food was phenomenal. Everything came out piping hot and fresh and full of flavor. Pictured is the chicken karaage and the spicy miso ramen. The chicken was breaded in a light panko breading and was served with a spicy dipping sauce. It was fried perfectly and the chicken delightfully juicy; it tasted and looked like chicken thigh meat. The ramen: I've had ramen here and there but this is some of the best I've had. The broth has great body and flavor and the bowl was packed full of noodles and condiments like corn, pork chashu, bean sprouts, chili paste and scallions. The overall heat from the chili paste was there but it wasn't overpowering and didn't force you to stop enjoying the yummy broth to let your mouth cool off. The menu features ramen and entrees and small dishes for just about any one. It's also worth mentioning they had plenty of vegetable centric entrees. Substituting toppings and condiments is easy and they have a portion of the menu where you can add more toppings if you'd like. Lastly I'd like to point out something that stood out to me: their kitchen is open and I noticed many, many stock pots on the range's presumably containing various kinds of broths for ramen. Thought it was cool.

Best place to get authentic Japanese ramen in Indy! I have been going here for years, and the food never disappoints! I highly recommend the Garlic Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen, Chicken Karaage, and Curry Don. I will say the ramen can be very salty, so I would opt for the lower-sodium options. The service is great, and I love the Japanese style furniture and decorations. There's always free parking nearby, but it can get full since it's in a busy strip with lots of other businesses. If you're craving ramen, this is the place to go!

First timer!!! I have never had ramen outside of the orange packet stuff you can get for 15 cents (LOL). Please don't come expecting that kid of ramen like me lol!! The service is awesome! The portion sizes are great! Ambiance is great as well. Plenty of seating available. I just don't think I'm a fan of ramen and that's ok!! My friend invited me out so I followed her lead on ordering. We ordered the lunch special "c" which came with the chicken and spicy Mayo for duping (this was my favorite item), a salad (I wish I'd checked the ingredients) and the ramen. I had the garlic chicken one and added the chili sauce for a kick. I'm not mad I tried it!!

I haven't been to Kizuki since before Covid, so I admittedly didn't have the highest of expectations going in this evening. My ten year-old was craving Ramen, so we took the plunge. Two words: worth it. I'm glad we went back to my old favorite post-work dinner spot. We walked in 40m before close (I hate to admit that), but the service was so friendly, intuitive, and warm, you'd have thought we were the first customers of the day. One daughter got the miso ramen and the other opted for the veggie option and both were big hits. (Had I not already eaten, my order would have been the veggie ramen with two eggs, for what it is worth). The ambiance of this place is cozy and definitely Asian without feeling cheesy or temporary. It's as good of a date place as it is a quick dinner on the run. Our dinner was a whopping (and nearly unheard of) $50 with tip. I could have done more damage at Chick-fil-a. It doesn't hurt that they have my favorite hard-to-find Japanese beer on draft, either. This is a hidden gem in Carmel that is worth a visit.

Was in the mood for ramen on a rainy night so headed up to 96th street to check this place out. Parking in this strip is always abysmal due to there being an Orange Theory. Ordered the Tonkotsu, which is my favorite style of ramen, and I always order an extra egg. Broth was great. Love the creaminess of a tonkotsu broth. Best ramen I've had so far in Indy!

I was visiting a friend in Indy when we decided to grab some food ! I'm unfamiliar with the area so he said he knew a place with great ramen - which wasn't a lie at all ! We ordered and received our food very quickly ! Especially for the amount of people in the restaurant. The place has such a unique look - lots of fun paintings to look at. The food was also delicious. Onigiri is something I've never had before, but I'll definitely have it again !

Came here for lunch and really glad it was suggested to try. Walking in and the interior is decorated with wood patterns and black accents for a modern atmosphere. There are many options of ramen to choose from on the menu and there are pictures next to each so you can really see what it looks like. I chose to go with a basic chicken ramen and I was very satisfied. The broth had good flavor, the noodles were soft but not overdone, the eggs were very flavorful and cooked perfect (order extra egg as they marinate these for more flavor). The service was average but not extraordinary. The server was not overly friendly and seemed kind of annoyed to be there. Overall, an awesome place to grab some ramen if you don't want the 10 cent brick with flavor packet that you get at the grocery!

Another wonderfully delicious meal at the best Ramen place in town! We come here a lot but it will never be enough because the food is so fresh and authentic. I need to stop leaving the awesome reviews because then it will get too crowded when everybody figures out what they're missing!!!

Kiddo and I went to Kizuki on a recommendation from a foodie friend, and it was right on! Don't be put off by the strip mall location, the decor inside is lovely. The place was busy, but we were able to get seated immediately. Just when ordering by QR code from the table was starting to frustrate me, a kind server stepped in to take our order. We shared a tasty steamed pork bun - mixing the hot mustard and the sweet hoisin sauces was the move here - but the ramen is truly the star of the show. We kept trading our bowls of spicy miso and garlic tonkatsu back and forth. Both delicious, but we agreed the spicy miso was our fave. Generous serving sizes, great flavor. It's a bit of a haul for us to drive up to Carmel, but for food this good, would definitely return.

Never be disappointed walking out of this place after meal. The portion per serving is big! The price haven't really changed for a while. The spicy ramen is really on point if you really like spicy. Karaage Don is a huge bowl as always. Today I ordered fried tofu for appetizer! That crispy skin is crazily good! Love it.

Let me say this clear and loud, this is the most authentic Japanese ramen in the area! I am from Japan and needless to say ramen is one of my favorite food from there, and it is not easy to find the real thing in the US- even in west cost! Kizuki is a Japanese chain, although I have never been to their location in Japan, I am pretty sure it tastes the same as it does in the home country! This is THE ramen I trust and go back to. I am very, very picky about ramen and this is the only place I can say that is real of the real. I love that they have Izakaya menu like takoyaki and karaage. I really wish they open more locations. I love that the staff say "irasshaimase " which means welcome when I go in. Service is fast and attentive.

Yummy yum yum! I can't believe it took me a year to try this place not even 10 minutes away from me! Ambiance is cute and cozy, staff is friendly and helpful, but most importantly the menu has pictures!!! I love trying new foods, and often find myself googling ingredients I am unfamiliar with, but Kizuki had me covered! From what I have had in the past, their ramen seems authentic and fresh! There are a few options I could not decide between so I guess I'll have to go back! Do yourself a favor this winter, keep yourself warm and try Kizuki ramen!!

It's been quite awhile since I have eaten here but it did not disappoint. We were seated right away. Started with a pork bun and some edamame. Perfect start. I got the spicy bowl with pork belly and it was amazing. I would eat here anytime.

Overall, this place was just...okay. Some items were good, but nothing I would drive out of my for again. My husband and I drove up to Carmel for a date night. The atmosphere was nice and classy. Very clean. All of the employees were there were kind and seemed to really enjoy their jobs. We both started out with some drinks. I had the sake mojito. This was a solid drink. I definitely enjoyed that they had several drinks on their menu for only $5 because I hate overpaying for alcohol. We then shared the Chicken Karaage. I was very excited about this, as the description in the menu sounds delicious. I was disappointed. The chicken is thigh meat (which I understand some people enjoy, but I personally do not). The pieces I had were very gristley, and I did not feel like the batter had much seasoning to it. I did enjoy the spicy mayo it comes with. For my entree, I had the dipping noodles and selected the chicken broth to come with. I thought this was decent and an interesting way to eat ramen. It came with a lot of noodles, I had about half to take home with me. I will add that the chicken it came with did not have much seasoning itself, as it is meant to be dipped, but it reminded me of dry thanksgiving turkey. All and all, this place would be good if you're craving ramen, but it's not special in flavor.

An old Seattle friend recommended that we stop here on our way back from South Bend. It was a good halfway point between South Bend and Cincinnati. I later learned it's a small chain originating in the PNW so that made me happy that it was from my old stomping grounds! Can't say enough good things about the food here. I had the spicy tongue ramen and the broth was the best thing I've tasted. It was sooooooo good and flavorful! It was just heaven in my mouth. The protein and veggies that came with it were also just so excellent. I also had some takoyaki with my ramen and that was also very tasty and flavorful. I'm very glad I stopped by. It was the best lunch I had had in a long time. Service was excellent and the décor inside was warm and inviting. Definitely worth a stop if you're driving through Carmel!

Has been good many times there. Come hungry as the portions are large. People are nice and service is fast.

I love this place. Again got the Gekikari and it was still so good. The spice is perfect with just the right amount of heat. The broth in this Ramen is so flavorful my mouth is watering thinking of it...This is my favorite ramen place so far. Food always come out pretty fast and it's a cute little place in a strip mall. Only downfall is it can get loud in there.

This is my go to spot for Ramen. The broth is like liquid gold me to and it is my "feel better" soup! I get the low sodium 3 star spicy ramen with extra broth and bamboo shoots! I have tried a few other ramen places and they just do not give me the same vibes that the ramen from Kizuki gives me. The staff is always nice and accommodating and the place gives off a wonderful ambiance. I have tried to eat instant ramens and now I just can't...They can never compare to something like this!

How is there not a line outbthe door here?? Authentic, friendly, and fast! Oishii desu yo!

I love (almost) everything about this place. The food is delicious, and the servers are always very friendly. Our server tonight was the best we've ever had -- super nice and chatted with us a bit, but not at all annoying like some servers who are trying too hard and being phony. Our server tonight was just genuinely nice and friendly. And when we mentioned that my son had just gotten a new job, she brought him a free ice cream dessert (with trick candles that provided lots of laughs)! The only reason I can't give 5 stars is because the atmosphere is just a little uncomfortable. First of all, it is LOUD! They need some sound absorbing panels on the walls or some sort of fabric somewhere in there. And the nearly constant beeping timers from the kitchen get to be pretty aggravating after a while. Also, the chairs have very short backs; they only come up to the small of your back, so you can't lean back and relax at all. But we'll definitely be back for the excellent food and service.

We came on a Saturday afternoon and were immediately sat, no wait or reservation needed. The food came out very quickly, about a 5-10 minute wait. We got the vegetable gyoza for an appetizer, which were great. It was exactly what you expect. I got the miso ramen with a side of spice, but it wasn't necessary. The miso ramen had a slight kick, which was enough for me! The pork belly wasn't the best I've ever had as it was pretty bland. The broth was incredible and creamy though. My friend had the vegetable ramen, which he said was great too. Will definitely be coming back!

Wow! Service was amazing, food was so full of flavor Im at a loss of words trying to describe. Not your ordinary Ramen restaurant. My son and I were immediately greeted & seated. Restaurant was clean, intimate spaces, not loud. Lighting was great. Our server came over quickly- and seemed to anticipate our needs the whole time because we never did without. He allowed me to make tons of modifications to my Ramen and was extremely patient through my questions. Food came quickly, and was absolutely the BEST ramen in Indy. I'll be visiting many man more times. The space was great for family, friends, business, or even date night.

All authentic Japanese flavors. Delicious ramen. Great servers and nice vibes. If you're looking for real Japanese ramen look no further.

Kizuki is located in a large busy strip mall so you'll need to look for it. It's next to Crumble Cookies if that helps. It's worth finding though! It's a small space but has a nice ambiance. They have a fun drink menu. All the regulars you'd expect but also sake margaritas and sake mojitos. I like mojitos so I had to try one. I was surprised by how good it was. A friend tried the raspberry sake margarita and enjoyed it too. Here's a new appetizer for you to try...fried octopus tentacles. Tasted great but a few of the tentacles were a bit tough. Lots of other choices if octopus isn't your thing. Multiple ramen dishes and luckily a vegetarian as well. A variety of add ons for ramen means you can create your own. They also don't skimp on portions. I really enjoyed my dinner so would definitely go back for more.

I have to be honest and start by saying that I am not a big ramen fan. I want to love it, but I just don't. That being said, this place was great! Because the broth and noodles are already prepped it makes service very fast. I think my friend and I had our food within 10 minutes of sitting down. I started with a boa bun that was really good. I can't remember the name of the ramen I got but our server said it was the most popular spicy ramen. The broth was flavorful, but the best part were the noodles. I believe they are homemade here and they tasted like it. This is a great place to stop in for a quick warm bowl of ramen!

We were extremely eager for a cold, rainy day to have some ramen from Kizuki and the weather delivered on Friday! We did carry out, but caught a glimpse of the modern and cozy interior. I was beyond impressed by the packaging for carry out orders. They kept the broth separate from the toppings and that was genius!! Our favorite part of the meal was the potato croquettes! SOOO good. The vegetable broth was delicious, especially with a little bit of spicy miso added in. I was also very pleased to see they had a gluten free option for noodles!
